Chapter 1: Not Created Equal
Izuku knew from the age of four that he was fucked.
He was born into a world of superpowers and women, as in women made up over ninety nine percent of the global population. The few males who were born had weak Quirks anyway and Izuku was always told about how he was destined to be the trophy of some wealthy woman.
Izuku had wanted to be a hero, but was told he couldn't at the same time he got his Quirk. Like all Quirked men before him, Izuku had a weak Quirk, only able to move about half a pound with telekinesis. It was a variation of his mother's, which was weak anyway, so Izuku didn't expect a strong one, and was at peace with it until his best friend got her Quirk.
Katsumi had a very powerful Quirk that allowed her to create explosions from her sweat. Everyone knew she was destined for greatness, but her relationship with Izuku changed drastically.
When they were younger, Katsumi declared that Izuku was going to be her husband and she would defend him from 'all those mean rich ladies' who would want to essentially buy him. After she got her Quirk, however, she stopped seeing Izuku as the person she wanted to protect from harm and unhappiness to the very person she said she wouldn't let have him. She would parade him around like a trophy, bragging about how she had the only boy in the whole school, how he was hers and no one else's. She wouldn't let him talk to anyone else and she destroyed any relationship with other girls he formed.
This behavior continued for six years until the day he couldn't take it anymore and broke up with her.
Katsumi flew into a rage, blasting Izuku with her explosion and sending him into a wall, screaming things at him that wounded his soul deeply.
"You are nothing! The only thing you are good for is making babies! You're weak and useless and you mean nothing to me!" She said, her blows punctuated with explosions.
She was heavily reprimanded, and almost sent to juvenile detention. It was highly illegal to harm a male, and was only saved by Inko's mercy. Sitting in her room alone, Katsumi grumbled. "Stupid worthless man, he will never get someone as good at me..."
A knock on the door interrupted her musings as it opened to reveal Inko. Katsumi looked up at her face and winced at the look she was giving the girl. "Katsumi, we need to talk." Inko said in a very serious tone before sitting down in a desk chair.
"Why, so you can berate me and call me a mean girl for attacking Deku?" She yelled, raising her voice. "He should have been happy that I wanted him to be my husband! Why should I….." She stopped cold when she looked up and saw the cold glare that Inko was giving her, warning her to be quiet.
"Let me go over what you did to my son, Bakugo." She said, the use of her last name from a woman she knew from a young age stinging quite a bit. "You used to tell him you wanted to keep him safe from people who wanted to use him for the fact that he was a male."
"I did! He was no one's trophy!" Katsumi shouted in her own defense.
"Not even yours? Either way, now is the time when you shut up and listen to what I have to say. You dragged him along like he was luggage, destroyed any relationship he had besides with me and with you, crippled him from making friends, and then sent him to the hospital when he spoke up about it. I let your relationship with him continue as long as I did because I figured that you were, at least privately, the same girl who would run around the playground with my son and make him laugh, but now I know that girl is gone. I'm not pressing charges, but I never want you around my boy again. I just hope that he doesn't kill himself eventually because of you. Maybe one day you'll understand the weight of your actions, but it will be too late. Goodbye, Bakugo." Inko said before standing up and leaving the defeated girl alone, like she would be for years to come.
"I can't believe myself."
Izuku sobbed into his pillow, the sting of his burns paling in comparison to the sting of his beloved Kacchan saying those things to him. It wasn't his fault he was born a boy.
Izuku dried his tears and through bleary eyes he saw his father's old dumbbells. His father had unfortunately died when a villain got violent after he rejected her advances.
'I-I can be a hero. I will be a hero.' he thought, his brow furrowing as he focused as hard as he could and lifted the two pound weight with his mind.
TIMESKIP
Izuku stood in the back of the crowd as he waited for the entrance exam to begin. He was aware of the whispers around him. His body had simply made it too obvious that he was a male for him to hide with a hoodie, like he had done when he was younger, so he was used to sideways glances and whispers when he was in public.
"Is that a male?"
"What is he doing here? Shouldn't he be in a government facility somewhere?"
"So that's what males look like. Weird."
"I thought males couldn't get into UA."
He simply ignored them, he didn't need their approval or permission to be here.
As soon as the gates opened, Izuku strode forward and pushed through the crowd with the girls that made it up laughing at him. "She didn't say go, you dumb ape!"
"HE HAS THE RIGHT IDEA, LISTENERS, REAL LIFE DOESN'T HAVE A COUNTDOWN!" Present Mic said over the intercom, spurring them all into action. Well, they tried.
Confusion went through the whole crowd as they found their shoes were fused to the very pavement they stood on.
Suddenly, they all heard a chuckle from the male facing back at them. Izuku's eye glowed green for a moment before holding his hand up and snapping his fingers.
Immediately, all of the buildings behind him broke and shattered as pressure was applied to them. Soon, the entire city was nothing more than ruble as the females looked at him in awe. All their lives, they were told about how weak males were, but the first one many of them had seen just leveled a city with a snap of his fingers.
"Some of you will be my classmates, huh?" He said, shaking his head and raising his hand, lifting the entire city's worth of ruble and clenching his fist, compacting the whole thing into a massive ball before walking away, unfusing the girls' shoes from the concrete as he went.
'I've become too strong.' he thought bitterly.
There was no doubt in his mind that he got in. They had actually had to let all the young women in his group try again without him, so he was completely unfazed when he got his acceptance letter with a video hologram of All Might.
"Hello Young Midoriya! Congratulations on making history as the first male to be accepted into my alma mater, UA University! Don't forget to go PLUS ULTRA!" The message said, while Izuku was just casually cleaning his room with his powers like it was nothing.
"Mom, you win, the message was completely over the top!" Izuku called, reminding himself that he really shouldn't try to bet against his mom. He finished his cleaning and effortlessly lifted the entire rack of weights to pull crumbs from under it with the vacuum while reading his physics textbook.
Katsumi had been trying to repair her relationship with Izuku for eight years.
Throughout the last two years of primary school, and then the six years of secondary school after that, she had been trying to talk to him, but never got the chance. She didn't even have to try to be the best in the school, she was smart, beautiful, and powerful, so she devoted most of her time into trying to apologize to Izuku. The only issue was that the kid was, at least socially, a ghost.
The only time she saw him was during a couple of classes they had together and he ignored her completely, always seeming preoccupied, then after school he would practically disappear. She knew she was basically obsessed with him by this point, and she crossed the line of stalking him a long time ago, but it didn't matter to her anymore, not if there was the chance he would take her back and be with her again. Everyone in school knew about her obsession besides Izuku himself, but she was too intimidating for anyone to tell him or go after him anyway. Her mother told her that it was a lot of time to carry a torch for someone, but she didn't care, she just wanted her Izu back.
The only thing she had found out about him was he was hitting the gym. A lot. By the end of secondary school, he was about six feet tall, and just under two hundred pounds of toned muscle, but he never once used his Quirk in front of her, not even to pick up a pencil he had dropped.
It was no question that she got into UA university, and was honestly hoping that once she was a powerful hero, she could force Izuku to talk to her! Imagine her surprise when she saw him in her classroom on the first day.
When she saw him, she froze. He was sleeping at a desk in a sleeveless shirt. He was in UA. He was in the HERO COURSE OF UA! How did he get in? She was not the only one wondering about him if the whispers from her new classmates.
"Holy shit, is that a guy?" A group of floating clothes asked.
"I didn't even know men could be in UA."
"Yummy."
"Mina! Our attention would be better trying to figure out why he is here! A prestigious school such as UA would only let the best in!"
"Y-You didn't see him at the entrance exam. He made everyone else's performance look anticlimactic."
"I wonder how many wives he has. I guess I could probably pay for a spot if I have to."
"Wives? Plural? Kero."
"Of course. He is legally required to have at least eight before he is twenty five. If he doesn't, the government will assign him enough to meet the criteria. The law was made because the process of artificial children between two women is unable to produce a male offspring. He also will get a very large amount of money for sperm donation. On top of all that, a sizable government stipend for every male offspring he produces."
"Wow. He literally gets paid to fuck. Not a terrible trade for a bad Quirk, I guess. Kero."
"It isn't surprising that you weren't told about such laws, most schools have deemed it unnecessary knowledge because of the low male population. Ironically it was that kind of thinking that caused the male population to drop as far as it has."
Katsumi was getting pretty tired of all of these girls talking about her Izu like he was an object. 'No, not my Izu, that kinda thinking is what got me into this mess. I guess I should have known I'd have to share him with other girls. Besides, all they even know about him is that he's a guy, so they can get a pass. For now.'
Izuku listened to all the whispers and talked about him, groaning as he heard how they only spoke about his use as a breeder, like he was less than human. 'It's just like before all they want is a man who will sit quietly and be a prize. A trophy that they keep on a mantle, only to dust off and show it off at parties.'
As soon as Izuku lifted his head, the first thing he saw was the waste of a schoolgirl outfit that was the UA uniform. He continued to raise his gaze until he met peculiar black and gold eyes.
"Hey hot stuff! I'm Mina Ashido, but I'd prefer if you called me by a nickname I had in mind." Mina said, smiling brightly.
Glaring at the girl, Izuku sat up, showing his imposing height. "I am not here to be ogled at, toyed with or treated as some object. I am here to be a hero and I will not let any of you treat me as anything less." He looked the pink skinned girl in her eyes, his filled with hidden rage. "Understand…?"
"Now there's no way to meet someone! I was just going to introduce myself!" Mina said defensively, crossing her arms and pouting.
"You may have thought I was asleep but I heard every word that you all said about me. How would you feel if someone looked at you and the first thing they start talking about is how you are useful for making a child. And then the first person to talk to you opens with "Hey hot stuff"." His eyes relax a bit but are still guarded.
"I-I'm sorry." Mina said in a small voice. She really didn't mean to hurt him like that, she was just trying to be friendly and maybe getting her foot in the door to date him.
"...I may have overreacted. I don't apologize for being upset, but I do apologize for my outburst." Izuku said, breathing deeply to calm himself. No need to alienate people if he didn't have to. "I understand that for almost all of you I am the first male you have ever seen, hell most of my life I have been the first male any woman in this part of Japan has seen and because of that all my life all I have been treated like was some prized stallion useful only for breeding stock." Izuku ranted, catching them all off guard.
"Yes, regarding the fact that you are a male, why are you in our school? Are you here as motivation perhaps, or possibly a distraction? Are you here to keep us sexually satisfied, maybe?" A tall girl with glasses asked.
"Did you really just ask if I was the school fucktoy? I have to apologize, Mina, was it? Yes, Mina. I thought you were rude, but now I see you are practically an angel when compared to this one." Izuku said, his eyes flashing green as he stared at this pompous bitch. The whole room seemed to have dropped several degrees and the pressure grew so that no one could move. "Let me be clear, bitch. I am here because from what I've seen I'm the most powerful being to walk the earth. I haven't found an equal and my actions at the entrance exam were so powerful that they had to make a new city. Fuck off." Izuku said, empty desks sliding around the room as he lost the smallest amount of control.
"You….you're a monster…." The blue haired girl said as she could breathe again, slowly backing up.
"The only monsters here are women like you, four eyes!" Katsumi finally found her voice, he may not care for her but she will be damned before she allows any other female to treat Izuku the way she did.
Izuku turned to look at the girl who he had once thought would be his wife, the one who said she loved him all those years ago. "Bakugou…" He said as he nodded his head ever so slightly in greeting.
He had long since washed his hands of her, not caring what she thought or did as long as it didn't affect him.
"I-I guess I don't deserve to be your Kacchan anymore, but I'll earn that nickname again, just you wait!" Katsumi said, determination etched into her features.
"Wow, you brats are annoying. Get outside in your gym clothes immediately." A tall, lanky woman in a sleeping bag commanded.
