The lecture was long and hard,(o_O?) Yet for once- it felt like I had actually been treated like an actual, existing human! "Well, I guess that just about wraps it up for now. Be ready by tomorrow morning- I won't forgive any late comers. Dismissed!" I flinched as Nobara sighed loudly, and turned my way. She looked me up and down in disgust, before opening her mouth. "You didn't have to ask so many questions- it already took long enough." I rubbed the back of my neck with a blush. I'm not really good with girls… "Uhh-" "God, I swear you're such a creep, dude." She got up and flicked a nail past my face- narrowly missing my right eye. I froze. "Waste my time like that again, and you're dead." Sighing again, I tried to find an excuse to make her less mad at me, but she just left the room without another word. "I agree." I looked up with a frown as Megumi scowled down at me- annoyance etched onto his face. "I would also appreciate it if you wouldn't waste my time either. It's a pain." I watched in shock as he lifted his hand to Masamichi in a silent wave before walking off. 'What bastards,' I shook my head sadly. Well, to be honest- I'm just about getting used to my new treatment here. Now that I think about it, It's not so bad… I get to have some alone time, and don't have to worry about people annoying me on my free time, because, surprise- they don't want to, anyway! "Poor Shion…" "Huh?" I looked over at Itadori, who was also shaking his head- but out of pity. "I'm really sorry that they treat you that way, Shion. It's not fair." "Yeah, well…" I scratched the back of my neck and chuckled awkwardly. "I-I don't really mind anymore. And what am I even gonna gain with their approval, huh?" He blinked. "They don't matter" He reached out his hand solemnly as I got up to walk out. "W-wait, Shion!" I bit my lip and sighed. Itadori is sure one dedicated kid… "Wo-would you like to have lunch with me?" My eyes widened. "Uh- did you kids forget that I was here?" I whipped around, and bowed. "I apologize, Masamichi-san. We will talk outside." He lifted his top lip in a snarl before shooing us out of the room, slamming it while grumbling under his breath. I looked over to Itadori and awkwardly smiled. "Sorry- I have some work to get done with Shoko in the lab." "Muahhh, Can't that wait? Gojo said he was gonna take us for Sushi this time! You should come!" I turned around and scoffed under my breath. "No thanks, Itadori. They probably won't want to be there with me anyways…" Itadori pouted and looked down as well. "Don't speak that nonsense, Shion… that's just what they want you to believe. Trust me- they're really nice on the inside. You just have to get them to warm up to yo-" "And how am I supposed to do that!? You saw what happened in there, there's no warming up to be done! They hate my guts!" I whirled around and yelled- but to my surprise, Yujii was still facing the ground- flinching as I turned around. "Y-Yujii, I'm sorry, I-" "No, you're right. I'll just give them a little encouragement." "Huh—" Before I could say anything else, Yujii presented his back to me before walking away. I was shocked. What did he mean by that!
