A rainy night out in the streets of Paris, a boy in a hoodie had ducked into an alley in order to escape from the police.

"Where did he go?!" asked an officer standing by the opening of the alley.

"I don't know," said another.

"The rain is making it hard to see him but he has to be someone in the area," he said.

"Keep searching then, we have to bring him back to his father or else who knows what will happen to us," said the first cop.

"This is insane, I didn't think he would have the whole police force out looking for me," said the boy in the hoodie as he sat behind a dumpster.

"Who would that be?" came a man's voice from behind him.

"Who… who are you?" asked the boy while turning to see a man in a black and green suit standing under an umbrella.

"You can call me Plagg, and who are you?" asked the man.

"Adrien Agreste," said the boy as he revealed his face.

"Why would the son of Gabriel Agreste be out here hiding from the police in the rain?" asked Plagg with a surprised expression.

"Long story short, I ran away from home because I can't live with that monster anymore," said Adrien.

"Search the alleys!" came the voice of a cop from the streets which got their attention.

"If you don't want to get caught then follow me," said Plagg before walking away.

"Where are we going?" asked Adrien as Plagg opened a sewer grate.

"A place where those cops will never get you, but you have to remember to keep it a secret from anyone," said Plagg. Once in the sewers, Plagg led Adrien to a split off in the water channel.

"Remember, what I'm about to show you can't be told to anyone else," said Plagg.

"I will," said Adrien. Plagg then pressed on a brick which gave slightly and opened a hidden door in the wall.

"After you," said Plagg while gesturing for Adrien to enter the room. The door shut behind them as they both walked inside.
