"Whoa," said Adrien as he and Plagg walked into an underground market place filled with kids of all ages. There were even a couple of trees and flowers growing all over the place.
"What is this place?" he asked.
"We call it the Hangout," said a woman in a red dress with black polka dots who approached the two.
"And who is this, Plagg?" she asked.
"Adrien Agreste, I found him on the streets with the cops hunting him down as he just ran away from home," said Plagg.
"Why would a rich boy run away from that kind of life?" asked a girl with pink hair who came skating up. When she came to a stop she just stood there staring Adrien down with a look of distrust.
"Alix, you know that we don't ask people about their situations," said the woman.
"Sorry, Tikki, but he could be a spie sent here to give all of us up and Plagg just brought him in like it's nothing," said Alix.
"That's how you got here, is it not?" asked Plagg which made Alix go quiet.
"It's alright, I'll answer her question," said Adrien.
"You're right with the fact that I'm a rich kid, and I've almost always gotten what I wanted my entire life," he said.
"Then why leave that life?" asked Alix.
"Because I found out just how big of a psycho my father is," said Adrien.
"He's helping the mayor by funding those crazy new laws that he has been coming up with lately which have been taking the freedom of the people from them," said Adrien.
"Do you have any proof of this?" came a voice from above them which came from a blue haired girl standing outside some kind of office.
"I downloaded all of the data from his computer, it's why he's searching for me so much," said Adrien as he held up a thumbdrive.
"Get up here; Max, you get up here too!" called the girl to a black kid sitting with a laptop across the market who closed the computer and started to head toward them.
"That's Marinette, she's the leader around here so you had better do good to follow her orders," said Plagg before giving Adrien a slight shove toward a ladder that led up to the office.
