Yawn~!. Today was like any other morning for Emiya Shirou. It was precisely 6 a.m., the time at which his alarm always woke him from his slumber. As usual, he woke up earlier than most of the residents in his household.

As he made his way to the bathroom and splashed water on his face to chase away the drowsiness that engulfed him, he began his morning routine. Once done, he returned to his room to change and put on his new black blazer, the uniform of Kuoh Academy.

Shirou was a 17-year-old young man with white hair, tanned skin, and piercing steel-like eyes. He was quite tall for his age, standing at 1.80 meters (about 5 feet 11 inches), and was widely considered quite attractive by the female population.

The sun had just risen, and as Shirou descended for breakfast, he found Sella, the white-haired maid with her hair tied in a ponytail, and his adoptive mother, Irisviel, preparing the meal.

"Good morning, Mom, Sella-san," he greeted. It had been more than ten years since he had been adopted by Kiritsugu Emiya. Shirou had been on the brink of death in a tragic accident that had claimed the lives of over 500 people. Kiritsugu managed to save a child around five years old, but the child had no identification. Therefore, he was adopted by Kiritsugu.

"Oh my, good morning, Shirou," his adoptive mother replied with a kind and gentle morning smile. She was certainly one of the loveliest women he had ever met in his life. "Are they still asleep?"

Those two were probably still watching a late-night anime. And what on earth was she making?

"Yes, Mom. I'll go wake them up so Sella doesn't have to leave," he said. He had always felt a debt to the Emiya family that had adopted him, even after Kiritsugu's death many years ago, taken by illness.

He made his way to the bedroom of his sister and "cousin," Illyasviel and Kuro Von Einzbern. The room was... unique. Dark shelves were filled with magazines and manga, a typically girlish affair, he thought. On the table next to her bed, there was an alarm clock with a picture of an animated girl in a sailor outfit, a character from "Magical Girl Milky Something Seven," holding a colorful stick. It was a gift from their neighbors, the Hyoudous.

Whenever she slept too long, he would gently shake her shoulder. Illya shared the same characteristics as her mother: red eyes, beautiful long white hair, and skin as white as snow. Kuro, on the other hand, was an identical twin, slightly tanned. He had little doubt that both would grow up to be beautiful young women, just like Irisviel.

"Illya, Kuro, it's morning, wake up."

Kuro woke up with a sleepy face, while Illya just mumbled, "Kuro, how do you wake her up?"

"Hmm, you obviously do it with a prince charming's kiss, Onii-chan," she replied in a playful tone, although she was still a bit drowsy.

"I mean in a different way than that," Shirou retorted.

"Well, that's what the alarm clock is for, Onii-chan. Let me show you."

She grabbed the alarm clock from the drawer and quickly set it back in motion, instantly triggering its digital voice. He always wondered where she had found something like that. "[WAKE UP! WAKE UP! IF YOU DON'T WAKE UP, I'LL...]" The small hand seized the alarm clock to silence the digital voice in a flash.

"Another ten minutes..." mumbled the loli, wrapped up in her sheets. She didn't get up and drifted back to sleep.

"Are you sure? Mom will drive you both to school if you're late, since..." The girl instantly got out of bed and headed to the bathroom with Kuro in tow, perfectly synchronized.

Shirou descended the stairs after making sure the two twins had woken up, to find Leysritt in front of the television. Meanwhile, Irisviel was working on lunch boxes with Sella, which were half-filled for the whole family.

"Just another peaceful morning," Shirou hummed as he got ready for school.

After bidding farewell to the girls, who were driven away by Sella, Shirou made sure he hadn't forgotten anything, making sure to grab his shinai. Then, fully prepared, he turned around to face another day of school life at Kuoh Academy.

Kuoh Academy.

Emiya Shirou was a well-known figure at Kuoh Academy. He garnered admiration from the girls due to his unique charm and kindness, but he also stirred resentment among the boys because of the attention he drew from the school's female population. He shared the fame of one of the two "princes of Kuoh" alongside Yuto Kiba.

However, he was mostly recognized for his commitment to helping others, particularly the student council, which earned him the nickname "Kuoh Fake Janitor."

"Thank you so much, Emiya-kun, for helping us once again," a bespectacled girl with a smile on her face said as she walked alongside Shirou.

"It's nothing, really. I like lending a hand whenever I can, Shinra-san," he replied with a slight smile on his face.

"But seriously, Emiya-kun, you do favors for everyone. Since you came to Kuoh, you've helped all the clubs with their electrical issues, and you've even taken care of all the little tasks people ask you to do, even those you don't really feel like doing, without expecting anything in return," she said in a calm and serene tone.

This person here is Tsubaki Shinra, the vice-president of the student council at Kuoh Academy.

"Well, that's the kind of person I am," he replied with a little laugh.

"But honestly, people are starting to call you the Saint of Kuoh Academy," she said with a slight smile, a rather rare one from her.

"I've been given many nicknames throughout my life, but really, a Saint?" he replied with a weary expression.

"Hello, Emiya-san," a blushing Momo Hanakai greeted me, which made me wonder if she was feeling unwell.

"Hello, Emiya-senpai," Ruruko Nimura said.

"Hey, Emiya," Saji Genshirō, the only male member of the council, greeted me.

"Oh, Emiya-san, are you here to help us again?" President Sona asked with a curious look.

"No, I just happened to be passing by with a box in hand," he replied sarcastically.

"Well, thank you anyway. Have you settled into our school?"

"Quite well, classes are going fine, and I get along with most of my classmates, although some guys seem to dislike me for a mysterious reason," he replied. The girls laughed as if they knew the whole story.

"Well, I'm glad to hear you're comfortable here. We have a student council meeting in a few minutes, would it be too much to ask you to leave?" Sona asked politely.

"No problem, I was about to leave anyway," he replied, exiting the room and closing the door behind him.

Sona turned to Tsubaki with a serious expression and asked, "Did you find out anything, Tsubaki?"

"I can't say, he doesn't seem to have any ill intentions, he's just using magecraft to analyze the internal structure of the objects he repairs."

Sona appeared puzzled by Tsubaki's statement. "A mage using his magecraft for trivial matters, that's not typical of their usual behavior, is it?"

Indeed, mages tended to take great pride in their magecraft and focused on studying and improving it rather than using it on modern objects.

"Do you think he could be a threat?" Sona asked, confused by her vice president's statement.

"I couldn't say," Tsubaki replied to her queen.

Normally, Sona wouldn't have been so suspicious of him, given that the Emiya family had been granted permission to live in Kuoh by the Gremory and Sitri families. However, the Emiya family was not a typical mage family, which raised questions and suspicions.

Emiya Kiritsugu, Shirou's adoptive father who passed away from an illness a few years ago, was known as the "Magus Killer," a freelancer working for the Mage Association in London. He was renowned for never failing a single mission and specialized in the assassination of rogue mages. He was responsible for the downfall of the Einzbern family, an ancient mage family, and retired after adopting Shirou.

Irisviel Von Einzbern is Shirou's adoptive mother. She is a homunculus created by the Einzbern family and was originally intended to serve as a component in the establishment of a grand ritual called Heaven's Feel, aiming to obtain the third "true human magic." However, under unknown circumstances, she married Kiritsugu Emiya, had a child, and the Einzbern family was destroyed. After this event, she had very few ties to the magical world.

Illyasviel Von Einzbern is Shirou's adoptive sister. Originally, she had been kept away from the magical world but was involuntarily involved in certain events due to a magical artifact accidentally created by one of the five human magicians. As a result, she temporarily became a "magical girl."

Kuro Von Einzbern is declared as Illyasviel's cousin. Very little information is available about her, but she seems to be involved in the events that allowed Illyasviel to discover the world of magic.

Sella and Leysritt are two homunculus servants belonging to Irisviel.

Shirou Emiya, the adopted son of the Emiya family, was thrust into the world of magic at a young age as the sole survivor of a catastrophe related to a mysterious ritual. Thanks to the intervention of Kiritsugu Emiya, he was saved and adopted. Under the guidance of his adoptive father, Shirou was trained in magecraft and inherited the Emiya family's magic crest.

After studying for several years at the Clock Tower, one of the institutions of the Mage Association, he began working concurrently in the Enforcers department. He quickly became known as the successor to the "Magus Killer," displaying exceptional talent in tracking and confronting other mages. However, he retired a few months ago for unknown reasons and came to live in Kuoh with his family.

She once again recalled the information about the Emiya family, wondering why such a talented human would retire before even reaching his 20s.

Meanwhile, in the Occult Research Club building...

Rias Gremory, the heiress of the Gremory clan, was not only perplexed but also stunned by what she had in front of her. That morning, upon entering the club room, she was surprised to find a package placed on her desk, with her name clearly written in large letters on the surface, indicating that it was clearly intended for her.

However, she was far from suspecting its content. Under her eyes was what appeared to be a chess piece, or more precisely, a mutated Evil Piece. As she picked up the piece to examine it more closely, she noticed a letter underneath it.

After leaving the student council advisor's office, Shirou exited the building and headed towards the kendo club. He had promised Murayama and Katase that he would give them some advice.

As he got closer to the kendo club, he noticed three boys sneaking around behind the kendo club. "Hey, isn't that the kendo club's locker room?" Shirou wondered, double-checking his geography. By listening carefully, he could hear whispers, "Over here."

Shirou immediately recognized the trio, these infamous students at Kuoh: Matsuda, Motohama, and Issei. They had gained an unsavory reputation for committing lewd acts towards their fellow female students.

"I found this during P.E. by chance!" Matsuda whispered to his two companions.

Shirou had already reprimanded them several times in the past, wondering how they had managed not to get expelled from the school. Moving discreetly without being noticed, Shirou took the time to see what they were up to.

He immediately noticed where the trio's excitement was coming from. "A hole? Wait, they're..."

Shirou didn't hesitate and drew his shinai.

"Let me see it too!" Issei grabbed Matsuda's pants to get a chance to take a look himself. "Don't hog it all to yourselves!"

"Damn it! I WANT TO SEE TOO!" Issei yelled, pulling on both of them with all his strength. "You guys are always-"

As they argued over who got to peek through the hole, the three students suddenly felt a strong pressure coming from behind them. They had all felt this oppressive feeling before in the presence of one person.

As they were about to turn around to see where it was coming from, they were struck on the head by something, causing them to scream in pain and fall to the ground.

As they fell, they immediately saw who had struck them, and they recognized him instantly.

"EMIYA!" they all shouted in unison.

"Hey, isn't there someone outside?" asked a female voice from inside.

As they heard the voice, all three students attempted to flee quickly. However, Shirou made them fall again with a well-placed swing of his shinai. As the three voyeurs fell to the ground once more, Shirou could hear the kendo club girls approaching.

"It's you guys again?" recognized Shirou the female voice of Murayama.

Shirou, with an impassive face, stood over the three boys on the ground, his shinai still in hand. "I'm sorry you have to deal with this again," he said to the kendo club girls.

Murayama smiled gratefully. "No problem, Shirou-senpai. We're used to it by now. Thanks for intervening."

"Alright, I'll leave them to you," Shirou replied. He added with a slight smile that made the girls blush, "I'll be waiting inside the dojo."

Shortly after leaving them, Shirou could hear the trio of perverts screaming in pain as they were being disciplined by the kendo club girls.

The rest of the day went rather smoothly as he finished his classes. However, as he was on his way back home...

However, as he was on the road, a troubling scene unfolded before him on the bridge. Issei was talking to a young girl whose aura clearly didn't seem human. Shirou quickly identified her as a fallen angel, but he wondered why she was in a town that was the territory of the Gremory and Sitri families.

"I better keep an eye on him," as this thought crossed his mind, Shirou suddenly began to cough, feeling dizzy and experiencing tightness in his chest. He was forced to lean against the wall to avoid collapsing. Blood was flowing from his nose, one of his eyes, and his mouth.

"No, it's happening again!" he murmured with concern.
