Ghost of a Chance
Act 1: Prologue
Flowey, the weed that stood between every monster and their freedom, had been defeated. In fact, he had been humbled by a certain small human several times. Each time the human defeated him, the golden flower either set the race of monsters free, or he let Frisk leave, depending on what choices they made up until that point.
After their release, the SOULs began to converse with each other.
*Hey, what are ya'll thinking about doin' this time around?
*I really want to learn how to dance.
*but you already know how to, dummy.
*Shut yer yapper bud. She just wants to get better.
The void seemed to darken even more than before as the JUSTFUL one defended the INTEGROUS one.
*I'm with stupido. She can't exactly do that if she can't even see herself.
*my point exactly. also, i don't think she could even find a place before the reset. wait, did you just call me stupid?
The BRAVE one seemed flabbergasted by the comment made by the PERSEVERING one. The KIND one spoke up.
*Hey guys, can we just calm down?
*Alright then, let's stop jackin' around, fellas.
*fine.
After having waited out the brief argument, the PATIENT one 'voiced' his thoughts.
*Back to the topic, what should we do before we're stuffed back into jars?
*I say we do a group activity!
*I'm fine with whatever.
*eh. i got nothing better to do.
*I would sigh, but we don't even breathe anyway.
There appeared to be something off in the distance. It looks rectangular.
*hey, what's that?
*Don't know. I dare ya to go over and figure out what it is.
*We shouldn't mess with it, what if it belongs to someone?
*it's probably better than anything we could come up with. most activities involve us being, well, corporeal. besides, it's just me.
The BRAVE one approached the strange object. Upon getting closer, it appeared to be a gray door. He shouted to the others.
*hey! It's a door! i wanna go through it!
*Don't just rush in like that! You're not that dumb are you?
*yes i am! adios!
The SOUL of BRAVERY rushed through the door. Little did he know that when he did, the door disappeared. The other SOULs rushed over with slight shock. They knew he was stupid and that he did stupid things, but they never expected this. In the abyss, they floated. The darkness seemed to press in on them as the initial shock faded. Not knowing what to do, the fallen humans spoke.
*If anything bad ever happens to him, he deserves it.
*Hey! That's not very nice!
The SOUL of KINDNESS pouted.
*Just saying...
Somewhere else, a very confused high school student began hearing voices.
