Half-time: It's time a date!
Larousse City, Hoenn. 12th May 2020. 6:49pm.
Paul adjusted his shirt once more before heading out the door to pick up Dawn. Although he wouldn't admit it, he was actually looking forward to this date.
He pulled up his car at the bus stop where he saw Dawn fidgeting with the hem of her dress. He pulled down his window and greeted her nervously. "Hey." Dawn looked up with a smile. "Hi." she said as she stood up. Paul breathed in sharply, as he took in the sight in front of him.
The bluenette had worn a red dress that was tight around her body and went just above the knees. The dress had a slit going from mid-thigh to the very end of the hem. A beige belt toned down the bright red a bit, as did the nude pumps on her feet. She had styled her hair into a curled ponytail r, with a couple strands sticking out to frame her face. A white clutch completed the look.
"You look…" Paul trailed off, not being able to find the words to describe the dress. Dawn smiled shyly. "Thanks. You look great too." Paul let a ghost of a smile flicker onto his face, as she slid into the front seat of his Mini-Cooper. She smiled brightly at him, striking up conversation as he drove off.

May searched around for a Mercedes. No sign of it. May sighed. Was he going to blow her off? She was just about to lose hope, when a black Mercedes parked in her drive way. She smiled.
Drew pulled down the car window. "Ready to go?" He asked, smiling at her. She nodded and got in the front seat.
She turned to him. "Where are we going?" He grinned at her. "You'll see."
Larousse Café, Larousse City, Hoenn. 12th May 2020. 7:47pm.
"Wow…" Dawn stared in awe. Paul took a peek at the girl's face. He let out a small giddy grin that had been wanting to take place on his face all night.
Dawn turned to him. "Can we go to that table? Pretty please with a cherry on top?" she begged. Paul laughed a little and nodded. Dawn squealed and grabbed his hand to drag over a bright red Paul over to the table.
"Hi there! What would you like to order?"
Dawn ordered a french vanilla along with a donut, while Paul just ordered a black coffee. Dawn turned to him with disgust.
"Ugh. How can you drink black coffee? It's so bland and bitter." Dawn said, making a face.
Paul shrugged. "I like it."
Dawn giggled a little. "Of course you do." Paul gave her a small smile.
Luxrayrousse Restaurant, Larousse City, Hoenn. 12th May 2020, 7:45pm.
"No way, we're going here?" May asked, astonished. Drew smirked victoriously. Yes! She likes the restaurant! "Mhm." he hummed in confirmation. May gasped again and turned around to hug the bright red boy. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" she squealed, jumping up and down in his arms. She pulled back.
"No problem," he said, scratching the back of his head sheepishly, desperately trying to keep himself from breaking into the giddy grin that had been threatening to take over his face all night.
May grabbed his hand and lead him inside.
"Table for two under Hayden, please." Drew spoke calmly.
The receptionist bowed. "Certainly, sir." he said, leading the two to a table near the window. "I'll get someone to wait you tonight." he said shuffling away.
Drew turned back to May and stared at her in awe. It was the first time that night he had had the time to appreciate the brunette's beauty.
She had worn a light lilac dress that was just below mid-thigh and showed all of her curves. The fabric of the dress was slightly reflective, so the light made it shine. The dress had spaghetti straps, and was styled in a way so that the fabric scrunched up at the chest. Finishing off the look, were light beige heels, along with an amethyst bracelet. She had also curled her hair slightly, but left it down.
She looked at him curiously. "What?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. "You look gorgeous." he breathed. May giggled.
"Thanks."
A waitress approached their table. "Hi there, can I get you anything ?" she asked, batting her eye lashes at Drew. He rolled his eyes at the waitress' attempt to gain his attention. "Yeah. I would like a glass of water please." he said, picking up the menu.
May smiled. So he did pay attention to her terms. "Yeah, me too."
The waitress fake smiled at the brunette and went to grab their drinks. May leaned to Drew a bit. "Thanks."
Drew looked at her with a weird expression. "For what?"
"Not flirting with the waitress. And bringing me here."
Drew laughed a a little. "No problem. But why would I flirt with anyone if I've got you?" he questioned, genuinely curious.
May stared at him in awe. No one had said that to her. Ever.
May stared at him with my mouth agape. He furrowed his brows. "What? Did I say something?" She shook her head, but said nothing. Suddenly, the waitress sashayed back to their table, putting their waters on the table. She turned to Drew. "What would you like, cutie?" she asked, winking at him. "Me?" she suggested, with a naughty look in her eyes.
Drew looked at her with disgust. "Ugh. You just ruined my appetite." he groaned dramatically. May rolled her eyes slightly, watching his idiotic act with amusement. Drew turned to her. "Let's get out of here, shall we?" he asked, offering her his hand.
She took it skeptically. He better not be trying to bed her. He lead May to his car.
Larousse Café, Larousse City, Hoenn. 12th May 2020. 8:32pm.
Dawn bounded out of the café, with Paul following behind with a smirk. She turned to him with a bright smile. "Thanks for helping me back there!" she told him, skipping over to the purple haired male. He looked down at her.
"No prob." The waiter had been making her uncomfortable all night, flirting with her whenever he could. This had sent Paul in a jealous rage, though he would never admit it. He had threatened the waiter, and both he and Dawn had left the café, with Dawn looking much better than before.
He drove her to her house. He looked at her, blushing slightly as she squeezed his hand. He looked at her. She was smiling softly. He decided he really liked that expression on her. "Thanks Paul. I had a lot of fun today." she told him. Paul grinned a little, deciding to make a spontaneous decision.
"Be my girlfriend?"
Dawn's eyes widened. She gave him a smile that made his heart stop. "Yes!" she grinned, wrapping her arms around the purple haired boy. She then got out of his car. His eyes followed her wistfully, wishing that she could stay a bit longer. "See you tomorrow at the game?" he asked, desperately hoping she'd be there.
She giggled. "I'll be there." she confirmed.
"Great."
"Okay."
"I… guess I'll see you there."
"Yeah."
Dawn lingered a bit longer, before she got out of the car and waved good bye to Paul as he drove away. She squealed loudly and waltzed inside her house.
Drew's Car, Larousse City, Hoenn. 12th May 2020. 8:11pm.
May raised an eye brow at the green haired male. He turned to look at her.
"Sorry. She was making me uncomfortable." he told her sheepishly.
May's expression softened. "It's fine. So where are we going?"
Drew winked at her. "It's a surprise. I think you'll like it." he told her.
A couple ten minutes later, they arrived. Drew helped her out of the car. "I come here whenever I want to think." he told her, as they approached a beautiful scenery.
It consisted of a boardwalk situated near the lake that reflected the bright stars shining above it. May stared at it in awe as they approached. She took of her heels as they sat down on the boardwalk. He turned towards her.
"This is where I came an hour before our date," he told her, looking up at the sky now. "I thought about what made me attracted to you in the first place." he looked at her again. "Your eyes? Your beautiful ocean eyes? Your personality? You're sweet, spicy personality?" he continued. "Or was it your lips?" he asked her, hinting something. She got the hint immediately.
She looked up at him. "I don't know." she murmured. "But do you want to find out?" she looked up at him, tracing his jawline.
"I sure wouldn't mind it."
"Neither would I"
He closed the gap between them, as she smiled into the kiss. A spark of electricity went through both their bodies, as they pulled each other closer. They pulled apart, a moment later, breathless. Drew looked at May. "Will you be my girlfriend?" he asked her between breaths.
"Yeah." she replied breathily.
Soon, they were pulling up to her driveway. May turned to him. "Thank you for the wonderful date." She smiled. Drew felt his fave getting hot. "No problem." She kissed his cheek. "I'll be at the game tomorrow." she informed him, making his heart beat quicker. He nodded. "I'll see you then." he breathed. "See you then." she smiled at him once more before closing the car door.
Drew let out a victorious smile. "Yes!" he pumped his fist in the air, only to have it hit the ceiling of the car. "Ow." he complained.
