"Boy, I'm hungry!" Eddie Gordo complained bitterly.

"And I'm starving!" Jin Kazama added in a huff.

"What are we having for dinner?" Lei Wulong asked.

"I hope it's something tasty and filling!" Ling Xiaoyu remarked.

"It's hungry work for us doing this fighting against one another!" Nina Williams commented with a rub of her tummy.

The competitors of the Tournament were sitting together at an outdoors table. For once, they were not battling one another. They were instead all awaiting their complementary meal to arrive. All their battling against one another with the use of their respective brutal skills has built up an appetite. They could hardly wait to find out what the organisers were proving for them to eat.

"Look!" Paul Phoenix cried. "I can see our food coming!"

The fighters turned to see a waiter walking towards them. He was carrying a large plate which was covered by a silver lid. A wonderful aroma was creeping out from it to reach the hungry fighters. It sent them all into a trance as how good it smelled made their stomachs growl.

"What is it?" Julia Chang asked. "What's for dinner?"

"We're about to find out," Yoshimitsu murmured.

The waiter placed the plate in the center of the table. The fighters fixed their intensely ravenous gazes towards it as he lifted the lid to reveal their meal.

Each and every one of the Tournament competitors gasped and cried. They were all astonished to find out what their complementary dinner was. Never had they seen such an appetising, mouth-watering, delicious-looking meal. They stared in wonder at their steaming hot food as they all chorused what it was.

"Chicken!"

Eddie licked his lips as he raised his knife and fork. "I'm having the first piece!"

"No way!" Lei reached towards the chicken. "I'm going first!"

"Touch my chicken and I'll rip your head off!" King roared as he swiped the piping hot poultry to pull it towards himself.

"Hey, get your filthy paws off my precious food, cat face!" Julia hollered as she snatched the food away from the fighter in the jaguar mask.

"That's my chicken!"

"No, the chicken is mine!"

"It's mine!"

"Mine!"

"Fight me for it!"

"Winner takes all the chicken!"

The bickering between the competitors escapades into an intense riot. They scuffled against one another, throwing mighty kicks and hard punches. For once, they were not using their martial arts skills to win the tournaments. They were simply trying to beat each other down to claim the tasty meal they didn't want to share.

If any of them had stopped their fighting for a moment, they would have seen that someone else had taken their dinner for themselves.

It was such a waste of good chicken for it to be devoured by Panda, considering she didn't even enjoy meaty food.
