Chapter 18 First day back to school
Cubby's POV
Today was the first day of school for both me and Princess well basically me, because I am now in year 11. As for Jake and Izzy, they stopped continuing with their aim levels because they were having a baby in early January of 2024.. I have all of my supplies ready for the first day back to school. For example I got my pens, highlighters, ain't no books, a pencil case, sticky notes, my textbooks, pencils and erasers, tape, mini stapler, a planner, index tapes, calculator, and my water bottle. Izzy got me all of these equipments for me. But, I am really nervous about here 11 as I will be taking my GCSEs, in 2024 and the really hard work starts from the first day of year 11. I have my backpack ready.
"Okay cubby, during your 11 you will be doing the school revision seasons and mock exams." Peter exclaimed about giving me a lecture.
Jake's POV
"Yeah Cubby, and Izzy and I will be giving you some advice like, you will be having February we have term School Easter school, while you are taking your GCSEs along with more revision classes for your GCSEs." I explained.
Izzy's POV
As I was helping coming sweating out how long he should revise with taking breaks, I was giving him advice and showing him on how he should take notes.
"Okay cubby, you should use your equipment, and you should also, code make headings, and subheadings with handwriting. You should also make sure your handwriting is easy to read improve memorizing the information. You should use flashcards and should also quiz yourself later on." I explained.
"1: be organized, 2: put your phone far away, 3: take naps (and other brakes) 4: Google revision as soon as homeschooling is over 5: when do you get that random burst of motivation, do everything you can. 6: use your free time wisely, and 7: ask for help." I explained all seven tips to Cubby.
As I started to write in Cubby's bullet journal, I wrote down 'September', and a to-do list. And if you are the school darlings like highlighters, and ruler. I lost a lot of a packing list for cubby to school. Which is the planner, pencil case, folders, notebooks for the classes he has that day, laptop, Airpods, water bottle, and a planner. I also want cubby to write out on home his first day back in school went for him. I also made School keys for in his bullet journal to keep him organized. I really wish I was going back to college because I really miss learning and revising but I don't regret it because I know having Issac in January, so I won't be able to handle it. Jake on the other hand, isn't bothered about going back to college, he really feels like it wasn't for him and he thinks he should get a job instead. I really want to be Cubby's teacher for year 11, so I can get some last experience of learning before I become a mother. I don't regret that Jake accidentally got me pregnant and I really look forward to meeting my son. But, I really wish I got to go back to college but as I started to look at my pregnant stomach each time, it reminds me that I need the right choice and I should put all the studying behind me. But I'm just can't help thinking about it.
Princess's POV
Today is my first day of school, yay! I am super excited. As for mommy, well she's a emotional, at the moment as I came into the kitchen wearing my back to school clothes.
"You, okay Mommy?" I asked while I was walking towards her.
"Well,.. it's your first day at school and I just don't want you to leave, you're just growing up so fast princess and I'm proud of that but I don't want you to leave The hideout. Why does everything have to change?" Mommy wanted to know I should continue to cry.
"Princess, do you mind if I take a picture of you and your uniform so I can put it inside my scrapbook?" Mommy exclaimed.
"Sure, Mommy!" I answered as she took out her Camera and snapped a picture of me wearing my uniform.
"Have a good first day Princess." Mommy told me as I left kissing her on the cheek and Daddy kissing him on the forehead and my siblings kissing them on the head as I'm went out to hideout and left to go to my first day of school.
Izzy's POV
After Princess left, I decided to draw a picture of what makes a good student.
Princess's POV
Once I entered the school building and into my classroom, I started loving it. I made loads of new friend, and during arts and crafts time I decided to put my hands in paint and put it on the paper. After I was done with arts and crafts, I went into the sink washed my hands grabbed my awesome painting and got on the bus to go home. As I arrived my siblings baby Jay and baby Jasmine were waiting for me in the living room.
"Princess!" Both of my siblings exclaimed as they hugged me.
"Is that my daughter who just came home from her first day of school?" Mommy asked as she came.
"Yes it is Mommy and I was an angel, look what I made in school, a hand print." I told her.
"Princess this is so cute. I'm going to put this in my memories of treasure chest." Mommy exclaimed that she kissed my forehead and left with my hand print drawing I did in school that she was holding.
