Arizona was the first to wake. Callie had slept the entire night with her hand on Arizona's stomach. It was like old times. Arizona had never been the little spoon in any of her previous relationships. And as little as that sounded, it was a big deal for her. The first time Callie ever held her, she cried like a baby. And ever since then, Callie had been the only person to ever hold her, besides her mother. But she knew she couldn't feel that way again. Not after everything they'd been through.

"Callie," Arizona whispered.

"Five more minutes," Callie yawned as she rubbed the other's stomach.

Callie's hand had mysteriously shifted upward during the night and lay right in between the start of her baby bump and her breast.

"Callie need to get up but I can't," Arizona reiterated.

Callie opened her eyes realizing she was still holding her.

"Sorry," she looked away shyly.

Arizona said, "Now you pull your hand back so I can go."

"Sorry," she said awkwardly.

Arizona said, "It's okay." She made her way to the bathroom.

Callie thought to herself as she sat on the edge of the bed. How could she have been so stupid? Arizona had made it very clear they were just friends, and Callie had cuddled with her all night long. But it felt so nice. How could that woman make her feel so small, not in a bad way, but in a I'm in high school, experiencing my first real relationship kind of way. She was the head of ortho, yet that woman made her feel like she was fifteen again.

Arizona looked at Callie and said, "Callie, you there?"

"Sorry, I was just thinking…what's up?" Callie asked as she moved closer to the edge.

"I'm on call today; I'm going to go get ready. I know you're not, so I'll see you there." Arizona said before exiting Callie's room.

"Hey, how about I get ready and leave early with you, so we can use just one car?" Callie asked.

"Then you would have to wake Sofia up," Arizona argued.

"Sofia's already up; judging by the time, she's an early riser like you," Callie told her.

Arizona said, "But you would have to get her ready."

"It's super easy though," Callie pushed even more.

"Okay, I guess," Arizona said as she ran her hands through her blonde hair.

"Alright, I'll be ready in thirty," Callie said.

True to her word, Callie and Sofia were in the kitchen finishing up breakfast.

"That was fast," Arizona said.

"Well she had her clothes sitting out the night before and was to picky about hairstyle so it's was easy getting her out," Callie explained.

"Come on, you're going to daycare," Arizona said, helping her oldest get down.

Sofia protested, "I'm too old."

"You're only eight and Zola will be there," Callie said.

Sofia said, "Me and her are best friends like Aunt Mer and Aunt Cristina."

"Let's hope not," Arizona whispered under her breath.

"Whatchu say mama," Sofia asked as they walked out the door.

"Your dress looks so pretty," Arizona said.

The drive to the hospital was quiet.

"do you have any consults or surgery's today," Callie asked, as she turned down the street.

"no nothing to heavy, what about you," Arizona asked, trying to keep the natural flow of the conversation going.

"Amelia wants me to see a former patient of hers, then I have a hip replacement in the afternoon, why," Callie said, stealing a quick glance at the end.

"Oh no reason," said Arizona as she rubbed her sweaty palms on her knees.

On her way from her consultation, Callie made her way to the cafe only to bump into a limping Arizona.

Are you okay?" Callie asked.

"yeah just my leg," Arizona told her.

"have you scheduled that an appointment with the prosthetists," Callie asked only to be met with a groan.

"I'll take that as a no."

"I've been getting around to it but I've got a lot going on," Arizona said.

"if you won't do it I will," Callie told her.

"ok fine I'll do it after lunch," Arizona said.

"oh you're not getting of that easy, let me look at it," Callie said.

"what no it's fine," Arizona said turning around.

"come on just let me take care of you," Callie said grabbing Arizonas hand.

"fine," Arizona gave up letting her be lead to an on call room.

"you know you where worst," Callie said turning on the light.

"what do you mean," Arizona said sitting on the bed.

Callie got on her knees right in front of her.

"you force me to eat all these different foods, you tried to forbid me from drinking coffee. You where alway over my shoulders, and around every corner. You and Mark always checking in on me and all I wanted was to be left alone," Callie said pointing to band off the pants. Arizona nodded.

"well that's different, I'm fine," Arizona said as Callie slid the scrub bottoms down her pants.

"yeah right, how is it different," Callie asked taking off the prosthetic.

"I don't know it just is, cuz I care about you deeply and I want to baby to have the best chance at survival," Arizona said feeling Callie massage her stump.

"but then it's the same," Callie argued.

"no it's not the same," Arizona said.

"im not doing this because you have a disability, im only doing this because you're housing my baby," Callie said.

"this is a pity massage," Arizona said.

"well your pity massage is almost over," Callie said.

they heard the door open, Callie froze in place. Arizona put the pillow over her leg.

"oh my gosh im so sorry," the mousy intern said frozen as well.

"leave and shut the door," said Callie as she stood up.

"do you think they like to gossip," Arizona asked, as she put the sock on her stump?

"no I don't or at least I hope not," Callie said as she handed the prosthesis back to Arizona from its spot laying on the way.

"you really should leave," Arizona said as she took her prosthesis from Callie's hand.

"why, I just want to make sure you're ok," Callie said.

"I think you've done enough, please go," Arizona said, as she secured her prosthetic.

"okay, I guess," Callie said rolling her eyes.

she huffed, tossing her hair over her shoulder and crossing her arms. She took one good look at Arizona and left.

pissed Callie is so sexy was all Arizona could think about. She knew she just asked her to leave but if she had it her way they would locked the doors and she would've attacked. Arizona has had anything in a while and no one really wants a pregnant lesbian. So she was super horny, what every you think horny is take that and multiply it by 12 and that's how horny Arizona is.

"Apparently the girl the likes to gossip. I just got off a long phone with Cristina Yang. She wanted to congratulate me on and I quote "getting fun and frisky with dr dimples"," Callie said using air quotes around the last part as she sat her tray down.

"Oh my gosh, did you tell her it's a miss understanding," Arizona said giggling.

"Didn't get the chance her 3d printer went off and she hung up," Callie said sitting down.

"Well all the interns have been giving weird looks including DeLuca. Hell even Bailey gave me a weird," Arizona said taking a bite of her cafeteria salad.

"Yesh, it's that bad," Callie said.

"Yeah."

"Jo's intern has been trying catch a peek for the better half of the day. She told me against her will, might I add, that rumor has it I have on of the best asses in this hospital and I'm sleeping with doctor robbins," Callie laughed taking a bit of carrots.

"Oh my gosh, did he get a look," Arizona said before taking another bite of salad.

"Nope, I walked with my hands above my butt, and I used the tablet," Callie said.

Well, it is a nice butt, but I think Pierce's butt is nicer." said Arizona.

"Hey, my butts amazing," Callie said.

"I never said it wasn't. I'm just saying if we are going to judge butts, there's a list, or ranking, if you will," Arizona said, shrugging.

"You're no better than Mark," Callie said.

The conversation grew lighter as lunch continued

"Ready to go?" Callie said, snickering behind Arizona's back, causing her to jump.

"Gosh, you scared me!" Arizona exclaimed, turning around.

"Sorry, but I couldn't pass up the chance," Callie said.

"So, what did you want anyway?" Arizona asked?

"Just wanted to see if you were ready to go home," Callie said.

"Give me twenty minutes and I'll meet you at the parking lot," Arizona said as she finished up her notes.

Callie stood there, watching the shorter women work.

"Did you pick up a side gig working as a creep? This is kind of weird," Arizona said, knowing the woman was still there without even looking.

"sorry got lost in thought," Callie snapped out of it, breaking her stare.

"well care to share," Arizona asked, as she closed the binder.

"I was just thinking about the baby, and all that stuff," Callie smirked.

"oh, anything specific," Arizona asked, as they walked to the attending lounge?

"Names," Callie admitted, shyly.

"How about we go back and forth and stop when we agree, I'll go first. How about Margaret and Michael," Arizona said.

"Cesar and Calista," Callie said.
