Ruby the Cardinal (Discontinued Being Rebooted)

Summer makes one request to Raven, Ruby's Godmother, if Summer is in danger do not save her. But rather take Ruby and raise her. This story will be a bit more violent then my other RWBY fanfic and feature blood. I doubt there will be any romance but we will see. Genres: Adventure/trauma/fantasy/action/monster

5. Writing Update September 5th!

Hello everyone after taking time to see the responses to me doing a reboot to my current fanfics.

Ruby the Cardinal

I have decided that's what I'll be doing. That does mean those original stories will be canceled/rebooted. Be on the lookout for the first story starting in my AU which its first chapter will be posted on September 29th which is also my bday when the first story set in my new RWBY AU. What will this AU be called?

Hunters:

The first story will be called Hunters: Cardinal of Death. Which follows Ruby raised in the Branwen Tribe similarly to Ruby the Cardinal. I understand this might not be what some of you are interested in but here is the release schedule for the stories set in the Hunters: AU. Each story will take place in the country they are in to start with.

Hunters: Cardinal of Death (Ruby book 1) (Mistral Book)

Hunters: The Prince (Whitley book 1) (Vale)

Hunters: Just a Man (Jaune book 1) (Atlas)

Hunters: The RattleSnake (Carmine book 1) (Vacuo)

Hunters: Lion's Roar (Arslan Book 1) (Menagerie)

Then it will go back to Ruby's book and will go through each character until I've finished telling the full story of each character. Ruby's story I'm expecting to be the longest if I'm honest.

None of this is fully set in stone. I could easily decide to focus on a different character for any one of the countries. I do know that for sure Vacuo and Menagerie will have a lot of OCs in the story.
Mistral, Atlas, and Vale will be using a majority of the RWBY Casting in their stories.

My current plans for it are that I'll write the first Ruby Book. Then move onto Whitley. Then to Jaune. Then Carmine. Then Arslan. Then go back to Ruby for her Book 2. I'm hoping I can make each story 50 chapters at least long and each chapter 5k+ in words.

With that being said be on the look out for the Prologue/Chapter 0 of Hunters: Cardinal of Death on September 29th 2023. I'll see you all then for this story.

Side note I'll be writing these stories as if it's for someone who's never watched Ruby before so that way Aura, Dust, and Semblances can be explained. Which is why starting out with Ruby will be best since she is a child being taught in the first few chapters.
