Chapter 34: Naginata of Kenkon
As Mew is ready to kill the scared and confused boy. A crescent shaped blade lands in between Mew and the boy. A girl with black hair and wears a white and violet-crimson patterned kimono who wields a small fan arrives standing on a tree branch.
"Sister!' The boy shouts.
"Are you crazy?! You were going to kill the innocent boy?!" Sakura asked.
"I mean, yeah. Why not? This Hoshiyomi guy is trying to arrest or kill us. He's weak too. I'm not going to make him suffer or anything." Mew answered, confused by Sakura's question.
"You vile disgrace of a man! Putting Hakudoshi in danger!" the girl shouted.
Kagura approaches Hoshiyomis head and kicks it. Hoshiyomis body eventually rises and reattaches his head.
"Shut up. I thought not one of them was going to kill him." Hoshiyomi replied.
"Kagura!" Hakudoshi exclaims as he runs and hugs her with Kagura embracing him.
"And you! You tried to kill him! What kind of psychopathic nightmare are you?! I've seen you Chances girlfriend. I wonder why a pure heart like his would associate with the likes of you." Kagura scolded.
"He's not pure! He may be my friend, but he had no feelings of remorse for killing at least one innocent demon slayer. He is slipping into the darkness. And I'm going to free him." Naruto replied.
"You are mistaken, that is Lucifer's heart. Lucifer is a being who inhabits Chance's body in a mutually beneficial alliance. Chance needs Lucifer to stay alive, Lucifer needs Chance to stay alive. Lucifer has considerable influence on him and can sometimes take control if the requirements are met." Kagura objected.
"No, he did it on his own. But that doesn't mean anything now." Naruto said.
"Hey Kagura, this boy has a warrant for his arrest. It's your duty to help me after all." Hoshiyomi said.
"Fine." Kagura replied.
Naruto gets on all fours as Kuramas dark red chakra envelops his entire body with physical characteristics resembling Kuramas takes form like his ears.
"Am I supposed to be intimidated?" Kagura asks.
"You will be. When you're dead!" Naruto answered.
Naruto has entered his version two jinchuriki form. Naruto charges at Kagura, with a wave of her fan, naruto is sent flying by a powerful gust of wind.
"Hakudoshi, make a run for it." Kagura said.
Without hesitation Hakudoshi begins running away, but a portal opens up in the ground and a demon drags him down.
"Hakudoshi!" Kagura shouts.
"Focus, I'm going to kill the swordswomen. She can't kill me with her sword. It's just not the right type." Hoshiyomi replied.
"If the demon can't be killed. It can be sealed. Everyone, take them down. I'm going to seal them." Tenten said.
"Dance of blades." Kagura said.
Kagura waves her fan, multiple crescent shaped blades are launched at Naruto's allies. Yushiro protects them by summoning a wall of mud.
As Narutos approaches Kagura, she waves her fan once again sending Naruto flying back.
"Foolish punk. It's hopeless to defeat me. I manipulate the wind, the very thing around you." Kagura replied.
Naruto unleashes chakra arms that rapidly approach Kagura, she attempts to destroy them with his dance of blades but the arms dodge and grip her. A portal opens beside Hoshiyomi and Hakudoshi is pushed through the darkness noticeably missing his weapon. Hoshiyomi then restrains Hakudoshi with flesh chains
"Sister!" He shouts in horror as he sees Kagura being gripped by Naruto.
Tenten places a scroll on the ground beside Naruto.
"Naruto, bring her close to me." Tenten said.
Naruto still gripping Kagura brings her close to Tenten. Tenten seals Kagura into the scroll. A portal opens underneath the scroll and the scroll falls in. The portal opens beside Hoshiyomi and the scroll is handed to him by a hand through the portal.
"Good job. You took away the wretch who is a nuisance." Hoshiyomi praised.
Sasuke jumps high into the air and rains a great fireball down on Hoshiyomi who dodges.
"Move out of the way!" Choji shouts.
Choji expands and rolls into a ball which begins rolling with intensity. Naruto and Sasuke get out of his way, Choji steamrolls Hoshiyomi until they collide with a tree, Choji then expands his hand massively and smashes Hoshiyomi. Choji then throws Hoshiyomi in Rock Lees direction.
"Leaf Hurricane!" Lee exclaims.
Lee kicks Hoshiyomi with a backwards high kick. This kick is then followed by another backwards high kick delivered from Might Guy. Sasuke then kicks Hoshiyomi high into the air. Sasuke follows Hoshiyomi and kicks him higher. Then Sasuke then kicks Hoshiyomi back down to the ground. Hoshiyomi rolls away and stands back up with noticeable damage done. Kiba and Akamaru who has become an identical clone to Kiba then dig Hoshiyomi into the ground with their Fang Passing Fang technique. While Hoshiyomi is down Hinata and Neji approach Hoshiyomi. When Hoshiyomi gets up, they collectively disable all of his tenketsu completely disabling his chakra pathway system although Hoshiyomi is still able to move and creates distance. Meanwhile Sakura and Ino have freed Hakudoshi, slashing the flesh chains with their kunai. Shikamaru and Iruka restrain Hoshiyomi with their Shadow Paralysis jutsu and Sealed binding jutsu respectively. A completely paralyzed Hoshiyomi is unable to defend himself when Tenten unseals a large amount of weapons that horribly maime Hoshiyomi. Shino finishes Hoshiyomi off by decapitating him.
"I told you already. I cannot be killed like that. My demon body is so strong that even if you have disabled my tenketsu and harmed me badly, I can still move without a problem. Besides, that boy those two girls have freed. He needs to be impaled through the heart in order to truly kill me. Now tell me, how did you have such great teamwork?" Hoshiyomi asked.
"I helped them coordinate it. From the knowledge I memorized when I look at their files. I communicated with them using my telepathy." Tamayo explained.
"Great techniques, even I, the great Hoshiyomi, admire your strength. But you don't have the mental fortitude to kill Hakudoshi. Such a small child, he's already died brutally once, are you going to make him suffer again?" Hoshiyomi asked with sadistic glee.
"Please, not again. I don't want to die." Hakudoshi begged as he began to cry.
Sakura hugs the boy.
"We are not going to kill you." Sakura reassures him as she wipes away his tears.
Tenten seals Hoshiyomi away in another scroll. Two portals open beneath the scrolls. A third portal opens a distance away. A demon wearing a ninja uniform steps out holding both scrolls.
"Well, well, well. You managed to seal him away. But you're not out of danger yet. I can incinerate Kagura's scroll right now, this will cause the entire Aura-Sun family to hunt you down. Its family policy, if a fellow brother or sister is slain, kill the killer. So, even if you spare Hakudoshi, I can unseal Hoshiyomi. We will come back stronger, and then you will die." The demon explained the stopped suddenly.
One senbon impails one of their arms.
But now, I have a deal for you." The demon said.
Naruto exits his version two cloak and asks
"What do you want then?"
"What I want is for you to allow me to unseal your tailed beast. Once I have the nine tails in my grasp, I will surely become an upper rank one way or the other. But in exchange, I will let you kill Hakudoshi and bring an end to Hoshiyomis life. Then after the Nine Tails is secured somewhere else, I promise on my very being, I will let you kill me." The demon promised.
"Sakura. Kill the boy." Naruto ordered.
"What is wrong with you?! He's just a kid!" Sakura objected.
"I DON'T CARE!" Naruto roared.
"Take it easy Naruto." Kakashi replied.
"NO! I'm not giving up my tailed beast to some power hungry freak. And if you have any brain cells, you would kill the boy who holds the key to killing Hoshiyomi." Naruto growled.
"I got to give the kid credit. He's smarter than last time." Yushiro remarked.
"Yushiro, that's messed up." Tamayo replied.
"Sorry lady Tamayo." Yushiro apologized.
"You mentioned something about Chance killing an innocent, you hated that right? Then killing that boy would make you a hypocrite." Sasuke argued.
"I don't care, he's keeping Hoshiyomi alive. Besides, Chance and the others will never find out, Shino can easily kill him with our assistance." Naruto argued.
"I'm with the kid in orange on this one, he's just being used by that punk to manipulate us into keeping Hoshiyomi alive. Let's kill him." Shannon said.
Naruto spawns a hundred shadow clones and holds back Naruto's allies, one clone restrains Hakudoshi by holding his arms behind his neck. Naruto takes a kunai.
"Naruto!" Sakura shouted.
Naruto plunges the kunai deep into the crying Hakudoshis chest. Naruto removes the kunai. As his clone drops Hakudoshis corpse. Naruto's clones despawn.
"Naruto, how could you?" Sakura asked sadly.
"We expected better from you." Kakashi voiced his disapproval.
"Naruto. What happened to you?" Hinata asked inside her subconscious.
Shino takes this opportunity to decapitate the demon who in turn with his last strength incinerates Hoshiyomi and Kagura's scroll and their bodies inside. Soon after, a messenger delivers a message from Chance. Naruto reads it aloud.
"Come back to Rota Naruto. You can fight for you and your friends' freedom. But your opponents are the new, possibly temporarily upper rank one Yushiro since Enmu has been killed by a demon slayer. And Yakumo the new upper rank three. Naruto, you are now upper rank two. You three will also be battling for the new spot as upper rank one. Naruto, if you win which I hope you do, you and your friends will not be killed along with my fellow family members. If Yushiro wins, only the Aura-Suns will be spared, or if Yakumo wins, you and your allies die. I have faith in you, now please return to Rota, and if you dare try to escape Rota, the border guards whose number has been increased into the hundreds will arrest you and bring you back themselves. To Naruto, from Chance." Naruto read.
"I can't believe it! Tamayo, I'm the upper rank one! Are you proud?!" Yushiro asked whilst celebrating.
"I am. Congratulations." Tamayo congratulated.
Naruto soon returns to arrived back in Rota.
On Rota castle balcony
Naruto stepped out onto the balcony. Chance turns around quickly. Hoshiyomi stands next to Chance.
"Hey Naruto." Chance greeted.
"Hey Chance." Naruto replied.
"I'm surprised you came back, after you called me a monster." Chance responded.
"I know, I'll take that back. I don't think what you did was right. But did you know what happened to Kagura?" Naruto asked.
"What happened to her?" Chance asked.
"She's dead, along with Hakudoshi. Hoshiyomi found us and attacked us. He had his heart inside of Hakudoshi, he made it where if we wanted to kill him, we'd have to kill Hakudoshi. Kagura was upset by this, yet still helped Hoshiyomi arrest us. Tenten sealed Kagura and Hoshiyomi. Another demon in ninja uniform came, he used portals to steal the scrolls and then when Shino decapitated him, he burned the scrolls. But before that, Shannon sensei impaled him with a kunai. Hurting my friends who were protecting Hakudoshi." Naruto explained.
"So Kagura died in a scroll, Hakudoshi and Hoshiyomi are both dead, and another demon in ninja attire helped Hoshiyomi." Chance replied.
"Yeah." Naruto said.
"For some strange reason I can't read your aura. But I trust you, so that's what happened. I will tell them after our conversation. But in other news, your battle will begin in three days, but don't worry, I'm going to give you a pill that will prevent Yakumos genjutsu from working. This pill contains my Aura within, so for a limited time, you are immune to Yakumos main form of attack, that means you must defeat her before the pill wears off. I have more to explain but Yushiro isnt here yet." Chance explained.
Some time later Yushiro and Tamayo enter the balcony.
"Great, they are here." Chance said.
"What did you call me here for?" Yushiro asked.
"Simple. I, being the somewhat smart man I am, have an idea. You two can work together to defeat Yakumo. Once she is defeated, you two will put on a spectacle, then after one clash. You both lie there defeated. It will be a draw and a new clause I have created, means that if a tie occurs, no one wins then someone else will be upper rank one." Chance explained.
"Good idea, but there's one thing. I want to become upper rank one. I also want to defeat Naruto completely. Because our last battle ended prematurely." Yushiro replied.
"You can't be serious right? Lives are at stake you fucking idiot." Chance responded with disgust.
"Yushiro, he's right. It's not that I don't have faith in you, but if you refuse to work with Naruto You could be defeated by Yakumo's genjutsu. Remember, if you lose, I die. I don't want to leave you alone, Yushiro." Tamayo said.
Yushiro sighs
"Fine, but soon I'm going to defeat you for good." Yushiro proclaimed.
"Same here." Naruto replied.
Yushiro and Tamayo leave.
In the battle arena.
Naruto enters at the same time as Yushiro and Yakumo.
"Welcome my subjects! This battle decides the fate of the saboteurs and this battle decides who will take Enmus' place as upper rank one!" Chance announced.
The crowd roars and a bell is rung signaling the start of the battle.
Naruto spawns five shadow clones and begin charging at Yakumo who weaves hand signs and attempts to place a genjutsu on Naruto. But Naruto remains unaffected.
"What? Why is it not working?" Yakumo asked herself.
The clones take Yakumo down and begin kicking her. A defenseless Yakumo curls into the fetal positon, Naruto and his clones continue kicking Yakumo until she gives up.
"Good shit Naruto, just have a believable fake fight with Yushiro and no one will have to die." Chance spoke to Naruto with his telepathy.
"I know. But I do feel bad for doing that to that girl." Naruto replied in his mind.
"Don't worry, it will only spur her on. But don't worry, she will hold no ill will towards you." Chance said with his telepathy.
Yushrio and Naruto engage in a brilliant taijutsu battle that increases the crowds volume. Yushiro jumps back and summons a three headed rock dragon. Naruto responds by summoning Gamabunta. As Gamabunta and the snakes clash. Naruto creates hundreds of clones that form a ladder to Yushiros position. Naruto runs atop the clones. Yushiro with his claws destroys the clone connecting the clone ladder from Gamabunta to his snake. As the clone ladder begins to fall Naruto jumps high into the air and spawns two shadow clones, one helps him form a rasengan and the other launches him in Yushiros direction. As Naruto aim his rasengan directly at Yushiro, Naruto uses wind release chakra to push it forward. Yushrio gets into a defensive position anticipating the attack. As the rasengan comes near and explodes, Yushiro begins to fall off the snake. Naruto lands atop the snake which Yushiro was standing atop. Whilst falling Yushiro places a talisman over his forehead turning Yushiro invisible. Yushrio jumps onto the other snake and climbs it unbeknownst to Naruto. Yushiro then jumps onto the middle snake behind Naruto. Naruto turns around as pummeled by rapid strikes targeting his pressure points amongst other regular punches and kicks. Naruto unable to effectively defend himself spits into Yushrios eye.
"Ah damn it!" Yushrio crys as he begins to wipe his eye.
Naruto takes this opportunity to rip Yushiros talisman off of his head and kick him off the snake. Gamabunta approaches the snakes who are unable to do anything without Yushiros command and allows Naruto to ride his head. Gamabunta decapitates the snakes thus causing them to dispel. As Yushiro falls, he weaves hand signs and thin water wires flow from his hand and onto the walls. These thin streams are extremely sticky and keep Yushrio in the air. Yushiro weaves more hand signs and the thin streams of water wires expand creating a massive maze of webs that surrounds Naruto and Gamabunta. Gamabunta despawns and Naruto falls onto a web. Yushiros water wires disconnect from his fingers and afterwards jumps down to Naruto's level.
Yushiro unbuttons his shirt, he then digs his hand into his stomach and pulls out a large orb of flesh, he then repeats this with his other hand. These two orbs of flesh are molded into puppets bearing Yushiros likeness. Each puppet is controlled with five fingers. These puppets then grow extensions from their palms that transform into swords. Naruto pulls out a kunai and gets into a defensive stance.
"It's time to end this. You know what to do." Yushiro whispered.
"Right." Naruto replied.
Naruto enters his version one cloak and prepares a large rasengan. Yushiro sends his puppets to attack but they are both destroyed by the rasengan. Naruto forms another rasengan as Yushiro forms a sphere of lightning release chakra in the same manner of a rasengan, lightning release chakra also clads his hands.
"Copycat." Naruto said.
"No. I've had this technique for years. My flashbang Rasen-Chidori." Yushiro replied.
They charge at each other and clash jutsus, the coming explosion releases a bright light that blinds everyone in the stands, this light lasts for several seconds. After the light fades, Naruto and Yushrio are both unconscious on the ground. The referee checks on both of them.
"Both are unable to continue, it's a draw!" The referee announces.
The crowd boos as Tamayo brings Yushiro backstage and Kakashi does the same.
In the infirmary.
Naruto and Yushiro wake up at the exact same time. No doctors are present. Just Chance and Tamayo are in the room.
"Great job guys, not only was that fight entertaining but you both tied and thus no one will be executed. Although none of you will be upper rank one." Chance said.
"Did you two really knock each other out?" Tamayo asked.
"No, I gave Naruto a serum that would put us to sleep when we blinded everyone, I had one, he had one." Yushiro explained.
"Good, I was worried about you Yushi." Tamayo replied.
Yushiro blushes as someone knocks on the door. Chance opens it slightly.
"Who is it?" Chance asked.
"We are Naruto's teammates." A voice answered.
"Oh come in." Chance replied, opening the door more.
Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi enter.
"How are you feeling Naruto?" Sakura asked.
"I'm alright. So what did you think?" Naruto asked.
"You did alright." Sasuke answered.
Some time later
Chance is currently in a conversation with Yakumo.
"Mitsuri has given us the exact location. Take the eight tails and wreck that shit. And to ensure your protection, I will send Sesshomaru to guard you." Chance said.
"Yes, I will redeem myself for my failures during the battle." Yakumo replied.
"Hey don't worry about it. No one won, and I have no idea who will take Enmus' place." Chance responded.
"Why not choose an Aura-Sun?" Yakumo asked.
"It's been a rule that an Aura-Sun cannot be a Kizuki. Why? For two reasons, one we were so damn strong we would hog all of the spots, and two the Kizuki are meant to be a way for the most elite of the elite to serve me." Chance explained.
"I understand." Yakumo replied.
Yakumo leaves and Kaluna teleports behind Chance. Chance turns around.
"Amazing show your Kizuki put on. But too bad it was only a show, as Yushiro is a demon, he couldn't have naturally been defeated like that. They both put each other to sleep somehow." Kaluna explained.
"And if it was fake, so what?" Chance asked.
"I doubt the people would like it. They are already not happy with the tie outcome themselves. And then, they see that it was all staged and orchestrated by you to protect Naruto and his friends." Kaluna explained.
"I didn't do anything, it must have been them who both mutually agreed to tie, to save those closest to them." Chance replied.
"You know you're lying. Why? Because I have evidence, a video recording of your little chat with Naruto before the match." Kaluna explained.
"I still outplayed the system. It was all fake, I don't care if you record my confession." Chance replied.
"Alright. I will take my leave. Better hurry up your plan. I'm getting impatient." Kaluna responded with a sneer.
Kaluna teleports away and a portal opens behind Chance and Obito Uchiha steps through.
"What now?" Chance asked as he turned around again.
"That girl, she is working with the 4th Reich. She has been in contact with the leader of the Reich, Damian. In fact, the only reason your father has been brought back to life. Was because two Reich agents destroyed the village hosting his remains. The very village that your father gave his life to protect." Obito explained.
"Thank you for telling me this important info. But I must ask, you used to be a member of the Akatsuki. What do you gain from this?" Chance asked.
"I have my own goals I wish to accomplish." Obito answered.
Obito uses Kamui to teleport away.
"What a lucky day for me." Chance said sarcastically to himself.
"King! King!" A man shouted.
A man came dashing into the throne room.
"The indigenous folk in the upper Islands are rebelling!" The man alerted.
"Oh god, why can I not relax today? Alright, send kikyo's division, It is to be administered by, Susamaru, Yahaba, Tamayo, and Yushiro. Naruto is to stay back to train yet is to be guarded by Corrie and Draco." Chance replied, rubbing his temples.
"Sir, this division has a supposed resistance movement, don't you think you would want more Aura-Suns to look after them?" The man asked.
"Good Idea, Daki, Tsubaki, Mai, and Muzan will be added." Chance answered.
"Alright my lord." The man replied.
"Do not call me that, you make me feel like a god which I am not, there is only one true god." Chance responded.
"Yes sir." The man replied.
The man leaves.
At team 7
Team 7 gets the news that they will be needed and Naruto is unable to fight.
"What do you mean I'm not fighting with my teammates?!" Naruto shouted.
"Take it easy. King's orders. He wants you to train. " The man explained.
"Well I'm going to have a talk with him and make him reconsider!" Naruto replied.
Naruto began to race towards the Castle
"Naruto, wait!" Sakura shouted.
"That idiot, he never listens to reason." Sasuke replied.
On the castle balcony
Naruto runs out to the balcony to see a girl looking over an unconscious Chance.
"What happened?! What are you doing?!" Naruto asked loudly.
"I have done nothing, this idiot overdosed on his anxiety meds again. Don't worry, he luckily didn't drink the lethal amount. Currently he's having crazy dreams and he wont wake up until later." The girl explained.
"Who are you?" Naruto asked.
"I am Kikyo. And you are?" Kikyo asked.
"Naruto." Naruto answered.
"Nice to meet you. I advise you not to wake him up, waking him up in this state will result in your death." Kikyo advised bluntly.
"How do you know so much? Chance told me that impure people like you haven't known him for that long." Naruto asked.
"His mother told me he's had this problem ever since he was young. He has repeated bouts of anxiety which occur on a whim. One moment he is completely fine and the next he's having a panic attack." Kikyo explained.
"Oh. You're an Aura-Sun right?" Naruto asked.
"Yes. What of it?" Kikyo asked.
"I came here to ask Chance to let me fight alongside my teammates since he wanted to hold me back to train. I asked you this because I heard Aura-Suns have a lot of power." Naruto answered.
"I recognize you, you're a part of my division. I allow you to participate in the quelling of the rebellion." Kikyo replied.
"Thank you." Naruto thanked Kikyo.
Afterwards
Kikyo walks to a secret meeting place in a cave. Kaluna, Muzan, Daki, Mukago, Susamaru, Yahaba, the shinobi demon, and the messenger man await her.
"Took you long enough." Daki growled.
"Enough Daki, let's get down to business. Mai, Tamayo, and Yushiro will be in Kikyo's division. Mai is Chance's brother, Tamayo and Yushiro are not on our side. In order for our plan to work, we need them distracted." Kaluna explained.
"What about those two? one killed Hoshiyomi, a man who I had great expectations for. And the other has not yet developed blood demon art." Muzan asked coldly.
"They will be instrumental to the plan, they will unleash the cure. Your purpose is to lie." Kaluna answered.
"I have an idea, Muzan, summon a mind control demon, I will lure them away." Daki proposed.
"I only possess one, if that new demon slayer child slays that demon. It would produce an unfavorable outcome." Muzan replied.
"No matter, if he dies, he dies." Daki responded.
"Alright, Daki, you know what to do. Goodbye." Kaluna said.
They left the cave and returned to Rota a couple days later Kikyo's division was completely mobilized and about to get on ships to sail to the northern islands.
On the beach
The shinobi primarily from konoha looked on in annoyance. Tamayo clung to a tree branch like a petrified cat as Yushrio pleaded to her.
"Come on lady Tamayo. We have to join the others and set sail to the islands. If we dont we are going to be in trouble." Yushiro pleaded.
"No, no, no, no, no. I'm not getting on that boat." Tamayo whispered.
"If she aint going to come then leave her!" A shinobi shouted.
Sakura walked over to the tree and climbed it and sat on the opposite branch.
"So, you're afraid of water right?" Sakura asked.
Tamayo nodded.
"Why is that?" Sakura asked.
"It was a long time ago. I was the princess of a small shinobi nation. One day whilst on our journe to another nation near the ocean, my convoy was attacked by a bandit who single handedly slayed multiple top jonin and my parents. He realized I had little value and threw me into the ocean. I couldn't swim, I was beginning to drown when I was picked up by Yushiro who was a genin from the other nation I was visiting. He picked me up and brought me back to shore. Meanwhile several anbu from Konoha battled and killed the bandit. Yushiro was amazed by one anbus techniques, he heard the names of the jutsus that were instrumental in defeating the bandit whose name was Kyokotsu. Rasengan, and Chidori. Yushiro took inspiration from these jutsus and combined them to create his Flashbang Rasen-Chidori. I have been afraid of large bodies of water ever since then. And we were eventually confronted by Micheal Kibusuji, the demon king at the time, who had found me lying on my deathbed dying from my disease. So he transformed us into demons." Tamayo explained.
"It will be alright, I promise." Sakura replied.
"We are here for you Lady Tamayo. You can do it, you're the strongest woman I've ever known." Yushiro added.
"Fine. I will go." Tamayo replied.
Tamayo jumped down from the tree and the shinobi got on the boat. As they started their journey Sakura and Yushiro comforted a still anxious Tamayo. They arrive to the northern islands with no resistance. Three islands make up this region, two small ones north of the large one. The shinobi split into three regiments and search for the rebellious foe. The rebellious foe tries to ambush the shinobi but the combined might of thousands of shinobi easily slays them. They reach a clearing fit with hot springs and a waterfall. The shinobi decide this is where they will camp. Whilst camp is being established a voice calls for Neji inside his subconscious.
"Hello. Do not be afraid, i'm using telepathy." The female voice spoke softly.
"Who are you?" Neji asked, activating his byakugan.
"Go north, out of sight of the other shinobi. I have something I want to give you." The voice answered.
Neji follows the voice's directions and reaches a cave where Kaluna sits on a log next to a campfire. Neji noticies her byakugan
"Why did you wish to bring me here?" Neji asked.
"Allow me to introduce myself. I am Kaluna Aura-Sun. Despite my last name I am a part of the hyuga clan branch family. I unsealed my mark at an early age, and I offer to do the same for you." Kaluna explained.
"Why? Why should I trust you?" Neji asked.
"Because I feel your pain, I know what it's like to be under the main branch's thumb. I broke my family free and fled." Kaluna answered.
Kaluna approached Neji who was suddenly paralyzed. Kaluna removes his forehead protector and pressed her hand against the curse mark of the caged bird. After a few seconds the seal disappeared. And Neji was freed from the paralysis.
"What did you do?" Neji asked.
"I used a jutsu to make sure you didn't attack me when I approached. Because I'm aware you don't trust me. Now here's your gift." Kaluna answered, grabbing something behind her.
She showed Neji the Naginata of Kenkon which was previously wielded by Hakudoshi.
"This is the Naginata of Kenkon. It was previously wielded by the boy that kid Naruto mercilessly killed. I tested it out, it's powerful." Kaluna said.
"He did what was best. He at least made his death painless. Now what do you want me to do with this?" Neji asked, grabbing the weapon.
"Do you feel any malice towards the main family for what they did to you? For keeping you as property, if you tried to rebel, you would be treated like any other slave. Punished violently. The branch family are not only treated as property, but also as meat shields. Expected to die to ensure the byakugan never falls into enemy hands. Never once considering placing the seal onto every member. They did that deliberately, to make sure that they could control you. You are now free from their chains, now former slave,they are all in this division, what will you do?" Kaluna asked.
"Kill them. That is what I will do." Neji answered maliciously.
"Good. Unfortunately, I cannot directly help you, but I'm sure you can take care of it yourself. And before you go, I must admit, you're pretty cute Neji." Kaluna complemented.
"Thanks. Now I shall take my leave." Neji replied.
Neji walked back to camp. He continued to walk. He spots a hyuga clan member playing cards with two others. Neji lifts his Naginata and stabs him in the back of the head, killing him instantly.
"What the hell kid?" One shinobi exclaimed.
"Leave if you want to live. I only want the main house of the hyuga clan." Neji replied coldly.
Kikyo, Daki, and Muzan watch on.
"Kikyo, I will take the sheep. You will defeat Naruto, let the hyuga clan die. Kalunas contract, it's useful." Muzan said.
"Go ahead. But should I kill the boy?" Kikyo asked.
"No, we need Kurama. And besides, if Chance discovers what we did. Kaluna will be killed mercilessly and our plan will be shut down." Muzan answered.
"Could he really kill her?" Kikyo asked.
"He could do it without Lucifer if he wanted too. It's not that you can tell the difference between the two when they show their true colors."Muzan answered.
Muzan uses his powers to control everyone who is a demon, he begins to bring the shinobi elsewhere.
"Stop it! Hinata will die if you dont let us go!" Kiba shouted.
"Insects, protect Hinata and the rest of the clan." Shino ordered.
Shino sent almost all of his bugs towards the hyuga clan who have now mobilized and ready to battle Neji. Naruto is not affected by Muzans control since he was never transformed into a demon stick beside the hyuga particularly Hinata.
"Neji you gotta stop this." Naruto pleaded.
"It's no use boy." Kikyo replied, walking towards the group.
"Neji, what has gotten into you?" Hiashi asked.
"Allow me to explain it to you. Today will be the day you hyuga die. For Neji holds the unstoppable Naginata of Kenkon. Naruto Uzumaki, if you wish to die then go ahead, but you will let Lucifer take control of the king. You see, you and Mew are the only things keeping his mind in line. If you both die, he dies with you. And he will be reborn, a combination between Chance and Lucifer. I like to call it, Naraku." Kikyo explained.
"He would never, he's too nice." Naruto objected.
"Is he really? You noticed his willingness to eliminate the demon slayer corps mercilessly. He became corrupted, not by power or money, he hates people who obsess over that. But by hate and bloodlust. Hes open about it too, he hates queers. I can't blame him for that, it's his religion hehehehehe." Kikyo chuckled during her last sentence.
"What's a queer?" Naruto asked.
"No sense in explaining it to you, you're too dim-witted to understand. It doesn't exist in your culture. Now get out of the way! Or die!" Kikyo answered by aiming her bow and arrow at Naruto.
"I'd rather die! I'm not going to let my comrades die! If I die than I die like a true hokage! Dying for the village I swear to protect! And besides, how can Neji kill the others? They are demons, unable to die from a weapon like that." Naruto replied.
"Hmm, good response." Kikyo praised lowering her bow.
Suddenly large obi sashes wrap around Naruto and carry him away to another location.
"My apologies for the delay. Neji, kill them." Kikyo ordered.
Neji raises the Naginata and a lavender-colored barrier is erected.
"You cannot escape. And when you die, I will become the head of the hyuga clan and make things right." Neji declared.
Neji taped the bottom blade of the naginata onto ground as poison began spawning all around. This poison kills quickly and as the hyuga gasps for air, they soon drop dead, and the barrier is deactivated. Neji harvests their byakugan into his arms, back, and finally one in the back of his head.
"Neji, I must keep the bodies, just in case we are ordered to revive them." Kikyo said.
"Do what you want, I have my weaknesses covered." Neji replied.
Kikyo with numerous large bandages hidden beneath her clothing, wraps the bodies and places a seal on them and with a space time ninjutsu transports them to another dimension.
Meanwhile
Naruto is brought into a cave and tied up in a web of obi sashes.
"Let me go!" Naruto demanded.
"Shut up." A girl replied.
Naruto is whipped across the face by another large obi sash. A girl with long, disheveled white hair, blue eyes, who wears a dress approaches Naruto.
"Whoa this girl is cute." Naruto thought to himself.
"Daki. He is the one. We can finally live the life we deserved." A boy said.
A boy with disheveled black hair, in-like splotches over his face, bloodshot pale blue eyes, and wore nothing but black pants.
"Ah yes, nine tails jinchuriki." Daki replied, giving a sinister smile.
"What is with everyone and trying to take away my tailed beast?! What is so important?!" Naruto asked.
"The infinite tsukuyomi, an unstoppable genjutsu to everyone except those who are immune like myself. You see, I lived a horrible life. I was violated, burned alive, and lived in extreme poverty. But I was revived by Chance and Kaluna. They promised me that in exchange with my cooperation, I will get a life where I lived in better conditions, with a loving family instead of an abusive mother, and where I was never treated as an object. But you see, Chance found favor in you, he stopped focusing on the task at hand. He has begun doing side missions that are near irrelevant, such as destroying the demon slayer corps, and he will eventually genocide Siberia. The nine tails is the last step towards paradise, and this time. No one can get in the way." Daki replied.
Daki with her claws ripped Narutos lower half of his jacket and undershirt revealing his seal.
"This seal can now be broken." Daki said.
Daki pressed her hand to the seal and began to unseal it causing extreme agony to Naruto. Gyutaro stands guard at the entrance. Soon the seal is unsealed and Kurama is released, then captured by thousands of Dakis obi sashes and resealed into a piece of paper. Daki then transforms Naruto into a demon to keep him alive.
"Gyutaro. Leave him, I will free him later. Follow me." Daki ordered,
Daki and Gyutaro leave the cave, after walking a short distance, a swordswoman in knights armor dashes past Gyutaro.
"You missed Corrie? How weak can you possibly be?" Gyutaro mocked the swordswoman.
Dakis and Gyutaros heads fall off their heads as Corrie steals the sealing paper containing Kurama.
Daki and Gyutaros bodies regenerate placing their heads back on their heads.
"How dare you?!" Daki shouted.
"So, my theory was correct. There are different goals, a split in the family perhaps." Corrie replied.
"What are you talking about?" Gyutaro asked.
"You already know the answer. You are pawns for Kaluna. Meanwhile I serve the king. He has ordered me to ensure that everything runs smoothly." Corrie answered.
"Oh really? How can you stop us? It's two on one, and we are the strongest demon duo in history!" Daki replied.
"Simple. Your pitiful lives end here." Corrie responded.
"We hold the Naruto brat hostage. You know what would happen if he were to die and his corpse unable to be found. That last sliver of good within him dies! Kikyo has foretold his fate if that were to happen. Naraku." Gyutaro replied.
"That would definitely be a problem, If he was still in that cave." Corrie said pointing at the cave.
Daki and Gyutaro rush back into the cave and see Naruto has escaped.
"Damn it!" Daki pouted.
"And it's too bad, I was a shadow clone." Corrie replied.
The clone dispels much to the horror of Daki and Gyutaro.
