Spectra's Pov:
"I can't believe it! This is the first time I've ever seen a Kaiju fight in my after life! While I do hear about several skirmishes happen at Monster High, I don't exactly do a gossip about it since they have to be treated with respect and not be interrupted by anything. Yet I'm not at the school or in the arena that holds the fights, we're on open territory where Kaiju fights can happen at any time. Luckily, I know who exactly Junior will be fighting, which is one of the Kaiju's considered hotter than Rhodey in the fire department as Baphomet the infernal. He's from another school and a part of its football team, his special move is raging bull where he rushes towards anyone and engulf himself in flames and smash through anything in his path. Though from how Junior seems calm and quiet at the sudden encounter, maybe he'll not fight him and end it peacefully. Might not make it exciting for the gossip but it'll show others that he's more than just a fighter from what others say about him."
Afternoon-Maul of the Titans
Panic had erupted in the mall with monsters and kaiju's running out of the store after Baphomet's fit of rage as well how he was burning almost everything around him. While the bull continued to get more fired up, Junior was still looking at Heath and Rhodey trying to get explanation about how they got the football from. Including that it seemed they did it on purpose due to a possible school rivalry they had with the bull's football team.
"Last year during one of our matches he injured one of our team's players. His whole ankle came off in front of the crowd! Sure, he was a skeleton but the fact is he was still allowed to play in the game. I don't regret taking the ball!"
Heath explaining his reason for taking the preordered football as he was ready to protect the ball with his life. Junior only looked at him with no expression on his face since he knew the background on Baphomet since it seemed the imp boy didn't know much about him.
"Well if you two knew about him, then you should know that I saw him one time during a performance. We were kids and he was still dangerous around my age, especially how he exploded a rock kaiju's head after ruining his meal."
Briefing him on what Baphomet was capable which made the two nervous since they were considered the hot shots of Monster High, yet hearing how the minotaur could be violent made them less confident in what they had just done. Looking over to check out Heath and Rhodey looking nervous with his football, Baphomet noticed by their side Junior as well shared a smirk at the king's appearance here at the mall.
"This might be actually just what I need to calm myself down. Taking out Monster high football players and become king of the kaiju's. All in one day."
Stating that he could beat up Heath and Rhodey as well having a chance to break Junior since the fire that was building up within him could be enough to bring him down. Taking a moment to see how aggressive he was getting, Junior decided to try a different approach and be 'peaceful' to him since there wasn't any need to fight over a football.
"While it would be interesting to see us fight. I don't think it's necessary, what if he just hands you the ball and we can all leave here. Cause I didn't come to the mall for the first time to possibly destroy it."
Suggesting an alternative idea than to fight like usual and for Heath to give the ball back. While Heath seemed hesitate at the notion of giving the ball back to the agitated bull, Rhodey coughed over to Junior trying to get his attention since this wasn't a moment for words to handle the moment happening in front of them.
"Junior? What are you doing? Just stomp on him and lets going. I bet that energy attack in your stomach can wipe him out in two seconds."
Asking him how if Junior unleashed the same attack he used on Komos could take out Baphomet since he didn't care about the burning he was causing. This earned a growl from the lizard teen since he didn't mean to destroy his teacher, he wasn't in control of himself. Looking over to Heath and asking for the ball, it seemed there was no choice in the matter as he didn't want the mall to burn down. Handing the ball to him, Junior looked over to the burning bull as he walked towards him and handed him the football. Spectra took a moment to record the moment since it seemed important for her viewers to know how this could be the first time the new king would handle problems that would result in violence.
"As you can see my ghostly fans, Godzilla Junior. The son of Gojira using words instead of fists like his father before him and deciding to help stop a fight with another kaiju that seeks his title. Could this be the first time where the competition see that he doesn't want to fight them?"
Spectra talking to the camera on her Icoffin as well recording how Junior was taking a different approach in handling fights. Baphomet looked confused at the gesture and being given the ball back to him, to which he accepts the offer and takes it. Only for him to backhand Junior across the side and going into another store and hitting several objects along the way. Looking over to his friends, Baphomet snorts at them seeing how he focused on a bigger prize.
"I knew it. Monster High made you soft, cause the Junior I heard could have break my horns for even looking at you."
Commenting about how spending time at the school as well near others who accepted him might have weaken him. Ignoring the words, Junior didn't lose himself as well stood up staring at the infernal kaiju not thinking of fighting him. Taking the punches he was receiving and blocking them, Spectra noticed how the fires that Baphomet made were still going on and continuing to spread.
"If you want something for your fans then watch this. My dad's been teaching how to take in fire than just make it."
Heath telling Spectra as he rushed over to where one of the fires that was spreading and focused on absorbing it. It took a few moments before the fires went right into Heath's hands as he was absorbing the flames around the stores. Looking at Spectra trying to let her get a good shot at him from her phone, he lost control for a second and slip to letting the fire escape him.
"Don't worry I got it!"
Reacting quickly as he got back in putting out the fires around the mall. Meanwhile with Junior, he was focused on getting Baphomet's attention and letting him use him as a punching bag. Each punch that he felt was hotter than the last as he noticed the bull getting more upset about Junior not fighting back.
"Why aren't you fighting?! Just because you wasted that teacher you don't want to do the same for me? I can take it!"
Roaring towards Junior before doing one more punch causing Junior to stumble to the point where he took the chance and charges into him. Holding onto the side of Baphomet, he felt the bull smashing him against the walls as well going through each one until they made it outside. Throwing him to give himself distance, Baphomet cracked his neck as well started to fire himself up again like in the mall.
"Because I'm not fighting over a sport that involves butting heads, that's between you and the others. Especially how your very dumb thinking I'm soft."
Telling Baphomet about how he was letting his anger blind him and not interesting in fighting since he didn't see the reason to do it. Hearing him say that infuriated the bull to where he grabbed the ground underneath him and ripped out two chunks of rock, which he soon hurls at Junior only for the lizard to dodge them. Watching his movements carefully, he decided to make the bull more agitated which would lead him to make a mistake in his attacks.
"My father was considerably the strongest in the realm. You forgot about the other kaiju's that made a name for themselves, like Mira's mother. Mothra, the divine moth that looked after both species when they came here. Caesar's father, who tried to take my father's title only showed him respect and decided to be a guardian for a family. And the players you wanted to fight? His dad is known for something that many people don't know him for."
Continuing to rant on how his father wasn't the only kaiju that was strong in the realm which took Baphomet by surprise as he heard a whooshing sound from behind him. Turning behind him he saw Rhodey in the air emitting his own type of fire as well getting his full attention, Junior moved back seeing how Rhodey was going to fight him as well that he wanted to take Baphomet down.
"Fire demon, that's my people call my dad. But I'd much prefer the burning demon!"
Announcing himself as Rhodey rushed him in midair before kicking Baphomet off his feet sending him to the ground. Unable to focus on what had happened, he got back up and grabbed anything around him and hurls it at Rhodey. The flying bird dodged each one before grabbing a rock that was tossed at him and throws it at which landed directly on Baphomet's head.
"Guess we know why you were benched in half of the game, to much of a hot head to control that temper."
Rhodey making a comment about him as Baphomet let out an angered roar which started to affect the ground as well starting to melt around him. Keeping his distance and seeing how it could destroy the area, Rhodey flew straight forward at him to let out a strong burst of air from his wings which caused the bull to fly off and hit a tree which collapsed on him. Out of steam and going to get back up, he looked up seeing Rhodey standing over him not feeling to good about the fight. He tried to remove the tree off him which was heavy. Luckily Heath and Junior came over to help out with the defeated bull as Baphomet was confused about the help they were giving him.
"I'm sorry we took your ball, I guess I got issues in handling anger. Just not enough to burn half of the mall down."
Heath apologized to him for what he did since it wasn't right to take a ball that Baphomet paid for in spite of what he did to his team. Taking a moment to calm down recognized what he had done, Baphomet groans annoyed at what he had done as well that it he'd half to clean it up since it was his fault.
"Maybe. I'm sorry for almost about to melt you all, I have problems with my anger that I'm working through. Had to get it out by focusing on something else, which was you obviously."
Accepting the blame for what he did and apologizing to the boys for how he acted along with aiming it at Junior since it might have helped him in becoming king. Junior, rolling his eyes at his answer in managing his anger decided to give him some information about what would happen if he managed to beat him.
"If you had beaten me. You'd get my title as well have other Kaiju's respect you and do whatever you ask of them, I don't do it because I'm still learning about the responsibility. Especially that you'd take what was inside me, and for how much I'm understanding it. It's too much for anyone to use it, focus on being something else. Because if you really wanted to fight me, you won't survive the outcome."
Giving him something to think about as well having his eyes glow at him showing Baphomet that he wasn't trying to fight him. If he had actually decided to engage him, it would most likely ended with Junior beating another kaiju and making the bull fear him. Seeing that he could have done something he'd regret and possibly hurt, Baphomet apologized to the king and bows his head in a sign of respect as well that he wouldn't try to fight him again or start any trouble with the football team at Monster High. While the three had managed to calm down the infernal kaiju, Spectra was able to get the full video about the incident as well resolve between the boys as she was smiling at how they were able to make amends for what happen and found common ground when things had settled.
"What you have just witnessed here followers is a different kind of kaiju, both aggressive and peaceful to friend and foe. Godzilla Junior is a sign that he isn't the rampaging musician that creatures thought when they saw him growing up, as well continues to learn his role amongst the kaiju community. Especially amongst monster kind after having our own Monster High athletes find a solution to this dilemma, what do you think? Only way to learn is to keep your eyes open for more ghostly gossip when the new semester starts."
Telling her viewers as she stopped her video seeing that watch she'd recorded was more than enough for her viewers could know the real side of Junior. Seeing how it could help him out with numerous kaiju's understand that he wasn't like his father seeking fights or establishing authority, all he wanted was to live his life just like everyone else's. The ghost ghoul could hope it could convince them to avoid the attempt on fighting him face to face, otherwise the warning he gave to Baphomet wouldn't save any other creatures that would want to fight him.
Night Time-Mount Gojira
Several hours passed after the disruption that started at the Maul of Titans, sure enough Junior was able to tell the authorities it was a misunderstanding and that he'd help clean things up since he was partially responsible for what happened. After helping fix the damages and the others leaving to return home, he did very much the same as well bought the albums that Heath and Rhodey showed him before heading out. Before leaving he also received a laptop from one of the stores he helped fix along instructions on talking to his friends, even if they were in the human world. He was in a group chat with the ghouls and showing the latest news on the Ghostly Gossip along a photo of him at the mall.
"Godzilla Junior; King of kaiju's or monsters? Well that might be too much of a ego boost for you dino boy."
Draculaura joking with him on that in an effort to make the post exciting, Spectra changed the writing a bit to add in him being king of the monsters as well. While it was far fetch since she placed a photo of him with several monsters thanking him for saving the mall, he didn't mind the satisfaction of being greeted with kindness.
"It's actually a common concept, your father was considered nominated as king of monsters due to his brutal actions in the past and waging war against human kingdoms. There are others that were considered, Cleo's dad. Loch Ness Monster and Big Foot one time, but he didn't want it since he preferred personal space and wasn't a fan of cameras."
Frankie offering advice on monsters who thought seemed best for ruling monster kind, yet most of them didn't seem interested in the idea due to them having their own species to look after. Clawdeen was surprised about hearing that since monsters were considered independent and not needing anyone to look after them.
"It was just for the post. That's all, can't imagine being in charge of you all. Besides fighting monsters might be too much since kaiju's are difficult to manage already."
Joking about being in charge of monster kind since they were unpredictable, had history going back centuries and were wealthy in their own ways. Though Draculaura took that part serious since her father would be the best candidate for that position and have the respect of all monster kind. He was already in charge of the vampires, he was alright with his status.
"Still, it should help you out on adjusting to Monster High starting up again, I already got most of the supplies that Headmistress handed us, didn't think we needed garbage goblin repellent and gargoyle treats for the semester."
Clawdeen expressing a fascination with the things that was needed for the semester as the ghouls got their supplies along the way. Junior seemed to not be fortunate after today, lucky enough he could go back to mall and get the supplies since one of the stores he helped out was a supply store with materials that could help out.
"If anything else that's important, what's everyone's plan for the new semester? I don't know how these things work since I've never gone back to the place I went to a second time. I'm thinking you all have something planned for when we meet up again."
Asking nervously on them seeing each other back at Monster High since he wasn't used to coming back to a place where he only visits once. Hearing the question brighten Frankie's bolts as they quickly pulled out a sketch board showing several sketches and plans on what they wanted to do when they came back to Monster High. It was difficult for what Frankie had planned out since most of the suggestions were all across the board, leaving the reanimated ghoul embarrassed at how much they wrote.
"It looks large but the main thing I want to focus on is mad science. Recently, my folks have found a way for me to generate more electricity that before. I'm a theorical thunderstorm!"
Frankie getting excited at the idea of generating electricity from their body as it led to them producing the energy around the room which blew out several lightbulbs and causing the laptop to glitch. The others moved away at how bright Frankie's electricity was, meaning they could do almost anything with the new ability. Taking a moment in resetting the screen, Frankie smiled seeing if the others had plans for the new semester.
"My dad thinks I should run for class president. He wants to build my reputation further since numerous vampires from other countries were curious about his girl surviving a school filled with monsters and kaiju. I'm right now focused on doing research on perfecting my magic and looking up history behind Pandora. What was she like before coming to the realm."
Expressing an interest in Pandora's history in her old village and about how she became one of the world's powerful witches. It made sense in looking up Pandora's history and see what trials she went through to make both monster kind and kaiju's respect and fear her. Junior thought differently since it sounded dangerous for Draculaura to dig up old history, including that there could be other witches that could be just as powerful as her but not share her intentions since they weren't friendly with monsters or kaiju. Clawdeen and Junior were left as the lizard boy kept to himself since he wanted to hear what she'd would want to do since she's the reason why their a group now.
"Honestly? I'm trying to figure that out myself, maybe just see where the semester takes me. Along check out what events I can attend without worrying about any dangers at Monster High, there's one that everyone talks about on the Ghostly Gossip. Fright Night, does anyone know about it?"
The half werewolf girl asking the three if they had heard about what the event was since it seemed important for the class since the last one was halted last year due to the trouble that was happening in Monster High. Now, it could go on without any delays or interruptions for it to not be hosted. While Junior was new to hearing the event and Frankie curious about it as well, Draculaura rolled her eyes knowing what it was since she knew what the event was.
"It's basically like a prom from human school. Though different since it involves every monster and kaiju displaying their own dresses and abilities in an attempt to display their true self. I did last year and won, didn't hear the end of it from my dad since he praised me for a whole month."
The vampire informing them and bringing up an image of her at the last fright ball which displayed her scaring half of the school with her fangs and another image showing her getting a reward. It seemed exciting for Clawdeen to display her fierce side for her friends and possibly half of the entire school. Just as they continued with their conversation, on Frankie's screen was the sound of objects crashing across in their room as well seeing Watzie running about breaking everything.
"I think I might have to leave, ever since I brought Watzie over to meet my parents he's been full of energy and wanting to head to the human village. See you all back at Monster High, Watzie come back!"
Saying their goodbyes to them and seeing the reanimated dog make a break for the outside as the monitor shuts off leaving the other three to themselves. Unfortunately, Draculaura noticed her alarm going off as it made the vampire groan since it was about to be morning.
"Same here. Sunrise is coming and unlike the Kaiju realm, the sun here is brighter here. Don't get into any trouble, the both of you."
Making a joke on how they would get into strange moments as the vampire logged off leaving Junior and Clawdeen the only ones left to talk with. Seeing how he could have and one on one moment with her, the reptile decided to bring up something personal since both of their parents had met each other in the past.
"With the others doing their things I need to ask something about your mom. Did Bloodgood tell you anything be we left for the summer?"
Going straightforward about if she was told any vital information about her mother which took Clawdeen by surprise due to how it started off swell with them having a conversation on what they do once they see each other again. Taking a moment to think about the added part of her mom's history at Monster High, the half werewolf mustered the words to help answer the personal topic.
"I did. She helped out with the werewolf community in adapting with Kaiju's that shared the traits like our claws and need to stay in a pack. Nothing upsetting or anything, because I know you were going make it dramatic but tough luck. Little mystery but still my mom had an incredible time at Monster High, same for the both of us."
Responding to Junior's question with a positive position and making the lizard smile at her optimism before signing off leaving him to think with a positive idea that the semester wouldn't be that bad. Taking the opportunity to settle in his room, he looked at one of the albums that he purchased back at the mall. He purchased one from Ghouly Gaga as he begins to play it as the song had a vibrant tone to it, along that while he was used to metal and rock. The pop genre was getting to him and smiling at the song he played.
"Call it a Bad Romance."
Briefly singing along to the tune before resting in his bed rocking his head to the song before resting in bed after the day he's had. Especially how that Clawdeen might be right about going back to school being good. Though with what he did at the mall and getting noticed on the Ghostly Gossip, he might get more attention than he thought of. Possibly the others around him since monsters and kaiju would talk to the ghouls to see if they could tell them about anything related to him. It'll come around eventually, until then he'd just listen to the music, he bought from friends who wanted to learn more about him and think of the possibilities that will come when he and others return to Monster High.
