A week later, Rue, Wrecker, Rex, and the rest of the fleet were gone, leaving Palpatine and me. "Ugh, this is so unfair! Just because I am hurt doesn't mean that I can't fight!" I said in anger, limping to the dining hall. "I could get you on the front lines if you don't tell anyone about the secret you and your friends know, just our little secret," Palpatine said in the shadows. I gasped and froze. "Umm, I should be on my way," I said, trying to get away from Palpatine as fast as possible. "Okay, then you might as well be de-ranked and lose your status in this war." I stood at the door, shocked, not knowing what to do. "I'm done playing nice," Palpatine began. "You can keep your strong will and secret but live a miserable soon-ended life by Dooku. Or you could keep the secret and join me, allowing you and your dear friends to live. Your choice." Palpatine walked past me and out of the door. At that point in time, something clicked in my mind. I needed to stop this from happening. I needed to save the Jedi, with my friends or not.
