"Ventress? Wasn't she presumed dead at the battle of Sullust?" I asked no one in particular. "That's what General Skywalker and Kenobi said." Rex responded looking me in the eyes. "Well, she couldn't be wrong." I walked back onto the bridge. "Are you sure? She could've been flustered." Rex said following closely behind. "No, I trust her. Besides we know Dooku's been after her for sure. I know Palpatine's got spies everywhere too. He could've found out about her conversation with us and ordered her to be taken care of once and for all." I bit my lip nervously and wanted to run to help her. We were on a mission though, no way we could just abandon our post without getting in trouble. I wasn't even in command anyways, Rex was. I needed to figure out a way to help her though without the Jedi finding out or maybe even Rex. I looked at him anxiously awaiting his next move. He looked down at his feet, saddened. "Well, I guess it's time to pull a Skywalker." He said looking back up at me, smiling. I ran over and hugged him. "Thank you." I ran to the medical bay without waiting for a response from Rex, I could already imagine it. I slid in and saw Pouch removing Wrecker's bandages. "We're heading back to Coruscant. Strap yourselves in. It's going to be a quick trip." I said happily, still elated from Rex's disobedience. They both looked at me confused. I frowned, realizing they had no clue what was going on. "Rebel's in trouble." I dashed out of the doorway letting it close on Wrecker's persistent questions. "Hold on Rebel, here we come." I whispered as I felt the ship turn around.
