"Nothing's wrong, Admiral." Rex looked up at me from the holotable, pointing to it out of the Admiral's view. "What are you looking at, Captain?" Yularen questioned. Rex mumbled something under his breath as he stomped over to me and pushed me in front of the transmission. "Your idea, your consequences," he whispered to me. I wanted to tell him it was his fault for agreeing with his little sister, but I just watched him walk onto the bridge and the door close after him. "What's going on, Commander?" I sighed and gritted my teeth as I forced a smile and turned towards the Admiral. "There's absolutely nothing to worry about, Admiral," I said through clenched teeth. "Yes, there absolutely is something to worry about! You've turned the Venator around. Why?" He was losing his patience which was not hard for him to do. "Just a malfunction," I said looking behind me in anticipation. Suddenly, the door slid open. "We're green, Commander!" Joey said, saluting when he saw Wullf. "Oops, well looks like we're losing you." I ended the stream as we went into hyperspace. "What took you so long?" I asked Rex loudly as the other maintenance clones pretended not to listen. "Not my fault," he said in a sarcastic sing-songy tone. "Well, how long until Coruscant?" I acted calm and focused on Rebel's situation. "Not too far, maybe 30 minutes?" He flashed a look at the nearest technician, searching for an answer, but there was no response. "Good. I'm starving, let's go get something to eat." I pointed with a thumb behind me. "No thanks, someone has to stay in control of the bridge." He didn't look back at me because he didn't want to see my disappointment. "Relax." I tried to hide my dismay and prove him wrong. "Joey can handle it." I smiled, looking back at my second in command. He perked up and marched over. "Sir!" He saluted again. Rex did a half turn and looked him up and down. "It's fine. It's a short trip." I shrugged at Rex's defiance and headed to the mess, dreading the confrontation I'd have with Wrecker. I grabbed a meal and glanced around the bright room for Wrecker, but there was no sign of him. I picked up my fork and dug into my mashed potatoes. "Why didn't you tell me earlier?" Wrecker came up behind me and startled me, sounding angrier than he ever had before. I dropped my fork and clutched my chest. "Blast it, Wrecker! You scared me." I didn't look at him and leaned my head into my hands as my elbows rested on the table. He sat down beside me. "What kind of trouble?" He scooted closer to me. "Look, Wrecker. You'll find out when we get there," I said slowly, taking my hands away from my face and clasping them together. "Well, why won't you tell me now?" He pressed on. "Because it might be nothing. No need to worry you unecessarly." I picked up my fork that I'd accidentally dropped right into the middle of the potatoes and wiped it off with my napkin. "But I'm her brother," he reasoned emphatically. "Yeah, I know." I returned his emphaticness and stood up with my tray. I walked to my quarters, expecting him to follow me but he didn't. I ate there, silently by myself, wishing Rebel was here and safe and before I knew it, the alarm blared. "All troops to your stations," a clone's voice said over the loudspeakers. "We are approaching planetfall." I picked up my helmet and ran out the door, leaving my tray there. I joined the sea of troops in the hallway, falling in line. "So, uh, how do you plan on finding Rebel anyway?" Rex somehow found and caught up to me. "She sent me her exact coordinates earlier. Let's hope she's still there," I said darkly and boarded the nearest gunship. "Hawkeye, fly to these coordinates." I copied and sent them to his wrist com. "You got it, Commander." I looked back at Rex thinking, here goes nothing, and put my helmet on. "Home sweet home," I said through the crackly comm channel. We flew down a random sinkhole out of the many on the planet's surface. "Here we are!" Hawkeye landed us gently on the dusty ground. "Thanks." I jumped out and grabbed my blaster as I heard the rest of the ships landing thinking this was overkill and would probably draw too much attention, but all that mattered was having Rebel back. I gazed around the spot and realized this was an unsanctioned prison. I recognized the bars and wording above the entrance written in Aurebesh. That meant there'd be guards everywhere. "Stay on alert," I said quietly. I turned a corner gun first and stunned the two guards in front of the main entrance. I walked over to them and nudged them with my feet making sure they were out. "Set your weapons to stun." If we didn't catch Dooku, maybe these guards could be debriefed and could tell us where his next target was. I checked the first few jail cells, but there were no prisoners. I heard gunshots and gestured to my men to be on alert. I switched my gun off of stun, if they were willing to shoot, so was I. I jumped around the corner, careful with my trigger finger this time. "I was expecting a warmer greeting than that," Rebel said calmly leaning more on one side than the other. "Rebel!" I exclaimed, tossing my blaster on the floor and jerking my helmet off. I hugged her, hoping she was alright. "Let's get out of here!" I could hear Wrecker's muffled yell through my helmet on the ground. I picked it up and held it on my side and pushed my gun back in place. I started off back towards the ship when I heard Rebel wince. I looked back at her, concerned. "I'm fine." She held one hand to her leg and one gestured us onward. I shook my head and let her wrap her arm around my shoulder and had her put her weight on me. "Pouch will have you fixed up in no time." I smiled, unsure.
