"Sorry, Sonic, But Eggman is in-"
"Aaaaaagh!"
Sonic walked out of the castle in complete annoyance. "I definitely owe Mario an apology after this now…" He grumbled as he walked off.
"That's eight old castles just laid to waste all over the kingdom. Sheesh, you'd think someone would have torn all those down by now." He scratched his head. "Alright, might as well make a run back to Toad Town and figure out how to get to Egghead. Or I could try to find the Emeralds and-"
He shifted his eyes, quickly evading a laser attack as he turned around to see Kazuya in his devil form above him.
"You're a hard hedgehog to find."
"Hey, you're that emo vampire from Dark Ruby's world, right? Maybe you oughta go back to Castlevania and tell Drac it's "just a phase"."
"When I capture you, I will take you straight to Eggman where I will then-"
"Throw more people off a cliff? You need a better hobby, bud. Something that doesn't make you criminally edgy."
"If I capture you, then Eggman will grant my city immunity since it is close to Remnant's borders."
"Immunity?" Sonic laughed. "Please, tell me more about this "immunity" he'll grant you. Immune from corruption? Let me tell ya, Moonview City is crooked as it comes, not to mention you threw a guy out a window in a hostile takeover. But go ahead and claim your immunity like you just won a contest on some boring ol' island anyway!"
"I'm planning on fixing some things in the city that I've been meaning to do for a while."
"Like what, the government? I have a few ideas on how you can improve the city. Step one: Resign. Step two: Let someone a lot less edgier than you take over. Step three: Massive boon for everyone else!"
"Do you ever shut up, rodent?"
"What, getting a little annoyed by a little sass?"
Kazuya let out an annoyed growl.
"Then it's working."
"Are you aware of how annoying you are to others around you?"
Sonic casually laid down with his fist touching his cheek while his elbow was planted in the ground. "What gave it away?"
"Enough of this! I will take you to Eggman and my city will thrive!"
"Oh, by all means-" Sonic got up and put his arms out. "Cuff me. I'm all yours!"
"I prefer a more unorthodox approach."
Sonic smirked. "Oh, alright. I don't see a cliff around me but I can make one for you. It'll take a while but I'm sure by the time I'm done, you can throw me down the cliff to your heart's content! Lava might be a bit trick-"
A laser was fired, but Sonic side stepped out of the way as Kazuya lunged right at him. Sonic casually looked at his wrist as Kazuya reached for him, but Sonic side stepped out of the way again, jumping up and kicking him to the side.
BGM: Crisis City (Sonic '06)
"I fail to see how Akuma has a hard time with you. This is gonna be a piece of cake."
Kazuya swiftly delivered several punches but Sonic casually avoided them as he charged up a spin dash and slammed into his face, knocking him back as Sonic then used a Homing Attack, then he bounced away and landed on the ground.
"If only I had a chill dog." He said as Kazuya quickly lunged and grappled him… or he would have if Sonic didn't get out of the way as he jumped forward and used a Sonic Tornado to get him up in the air, then Homing Attacked him immediately.
Kazuya smirked, grabbing Sonic in mid-air and then slammed him into the ground, then he used Lion Slayer, but Sonic rolled out of the way, then spin kicked him to knock Kazuya back. Kazuya fired a laser at him, but Sonic swiftly moved out of the way.
"This is the guy who captures me in Silver's time? Please. Infinite did a better job at capturing me, and we all know how he ended up!"
Kazuya flapped his wings as he charged at Sonic, but he jumped and landed on top of him. "Mind if I borrow your wings for a moment?" He asked as he steered Kazuya right into a tree as Sonic jumped off right before he crashed.
"No wonder Tails is a better pilot, I'm a bit clumsy when it comes to flying humans!"
Kazuya let out a loud angry roar as Sonic took off running, only to come back with a red cape.
"Toro! Toro!"
Kazuya snarled. "I can see why Robotnik despises you."
"Yeah, I just about make any villain I meet despise me. Come on, what's not to love about me? I'm quite charming if I say so myself."
"Charming" is not how I would describe you."
"No? Guess you can't handle this sheer awesome!"
Kazuya lunged again as Sonic casually flapped the cape as Kazuya flew up and fired a laser, but Sonic avoided it casually and put the cape in front of him to cover himself up. Kazuya smirked and charged at him, but the moment he punched him, his arm went through the cape and hit nothing.
"What…?" He wondered as Sonic slammed into him from behind, striking him in the back as he bounced off.
"Ole!" He grinned, casually having a chili dog in his hand and taking a bite.
"Are you seriously eating at a time like this?"
"I got one for you too. Want it?"
Kazuya gave him a "are you serious" glare.
"What, not a fan of cheese? Your loss!"
Kazuya let out a frustrated yell as he lunged directly at Sonic… only for an arrow to hit the ground between them as the arrow exploded and trapped Kazuya in a gooey pink substance.

"Hmm?" Sonic looked up to see a helicopter over their heads as Kate had her bow and arrow out, leaning out the door.
"Got him!" Kate said as the helicopter came in for a landing as they were joined by the X-Tornado.
"There you are!" Tails said as he hopped out as not only Kate hopped out of the helicopter, but so did Yelena, Junko and Mukuro. "We were looking all over for you."
"Yeah, well, thought I could get a lead on Egghead, but all I got was the same message: "Sorry, but Eggman's in another castle". I completely understand how Mario felt…"
"What, did you make fun of him too?" Kate asked.
"He went through eight areas just to get to Bowser when he could've just went straight for the final area in a snap. How could I not make fun of him for it?" Sonic chuckled. "...Of course, I didn't think that'd come back to haunt me…"
"Glad we saved you before Kazuya captured you." Tails said.
"I think it's more like you saved him from being humiliated." Sonic chuckled.
"Too late." Yelena said, pointing to Kazuya trying to get out of his inflatable prison.
"Wait, you were captured?" Junko asked.
"Silver came by and gave us the breakdown on what happened in his future. Apparently I get captured after Egghead did this nonsense." Sonic looked over at Kazuya. "Though, if Kazuya was his best bet, then guess he scraped the bottom of the barrel with that one."
"If I had to guess, Kazuya either had back up or he got lucky when you exhausted yourself." Tails said.
"Ha! Me, exhausted? Good one!"
"It does seem rather laughable." Yelena said. "Perhaps someone he knows was held hostage and he was blackmailed to surrender."
"We thought of that." Tails said. "We gave Amy and Cream extra protection."
Meanwhile…
Several Badniks fell to the ground as smoke emerged from Amy's hammer while Cheese backed away with mecha armor attached to him. "Rocket launchers. Gotta love 'em!" Amy smiled.
"Chao Chao~!" Cheese cried.
"Goodness me…" Cream shook her head with a soft giggle.
Back with them…
"So if anything, I'm thinking Kazuya got lucky." Tails said.
"Lucky that he didn't get humiliated even further?" Sonic put his hands on his hips with an amused chuckle.
"How did this all go down anyway?" Mukuro asked.
"Apparently Egghead offered him protection from Remnant's destruction and his reward for capturing me was to repair some things in his city."
"Considering a place called Argus got nuked, I don't think that'll be much protection." Kate said.
"Argus? Isn't that Pyrrha's hometown?" Sonic wondered.
Mukuro sighed. "Kazuya, I thought you were better than this. Why would you listen to Eggman? If anything, he'd trick you into capturing Sonic and then possibly doing away with you. Did you think that all the way through?"
"I was just doing what was best for Moonview City."
"Noble, yet reckless given what we're up against. Plus, the more you fought Sonic, the easier it would be for him to defeat you given he can be… frustrating."
"It's true. I was running laps around him before you came over!" Sonic said, his hands casually behind his spikes.
"Mmmph…" Kazuya folded his arms.
"Even if you captured Sonic, do you really think Eggman would hold up his end of the bargain?" Junko added.
Kazuya said nothing, closing his eyes and let out a small annoyed grunt.
"Eto utverditel'no." (That's an affirmative.) Yelena said.
"Clearly." Mukuro nodded. "Instead, why don't you help us actually defeat Eggman?"
Once more, Kazuya said nothing but he turned back to normal. "Fine. I will join you."
"Excellent."
"One condition."
"And that is?"
"...Get me out of this mess."
Back in the present…
2:15 AM
"Yeah, uh… turns out that stuff wore out in an hour, so we came up with a few strategies while we waited for that to completely fade away." Kate explained.
"Why couldn't Kazuya break free of it?" Chiaki asked.
"It had a great hold of my neck, I couldn't exactly break free of it." Kazuya mumbled.
"Ah."
"Hey, on the bright side, at least you're okay!" Kate said, which Kazuya gave her a soul piercing glare that caused her to sweatdrop. "Touchy…"
"So you have a Chaos Emerald with you. Do you have any more?" Yelena asked.
"We have this, unfortunately it's powered down." Chiaki mumbled. "Not only that, but apparently the Master Emerald was taken away, so we can't do anything about that until we get to the Death Egg."
"Oooof… that's a shame…" Junko said.
"Do you know where any other Emerald is located?" Mukuro asked.
"That's the thing. Apparently the Dynamax energy is messing with BB-8's circuitry." Nyx said.
"Huh? But he looks fine…" Tails said as BB-8 let out a chirp and brought out his map, which was currently glitching out. "Oooooh…"
"That would explain why the radar was a bit finicky when we came to Galar…" Mukuro mused.
"How'd you know we were here anyway?" Jade asked.
"The X-Wing's radar, duh." Junko smiled.
Chiaki giggled. "Well, alright then."
"Apparently there was a Chaos Emerald on the move somewhere in the Mushroom Kingdom, but we wanted to come here first in case you needed a boost." Junko said.
"We got it covered. Took us a while to find it." Lucy said.
"So, did we miss anything while we were tirelessly searching for the Emerald?" Iris asked.
"Argus got blown up by a nuke." Mukuro said.
"WHAT?!" Everyone else yelled.
2:20 AM
Back at Toad Town…
"-And that's how we found the Chaos Emerald." Shadow said.
"You found it at Mount Glen, of all places?" Gray asked.
"Underneath some shrubbery there, yes." Shadow nodded. "Funny enough, we found this before Eggman invaded, so we took our time looking for the other Emeralds."
"Yeah, and we forgot what day it was too." Rouge explained. "The moment Atlas fell, we hauled our butts."
"Unfortunately, Vale had no such Emerald, not even Beacon Academy." Omega said.
"Before the invasion, we had checked Mistral but no such luck." Rouge explained.
"Then we had to make sure Logue and her family were okay, then we moved on to look for other Emeralds." Shadow finished.
"You sure care a lot about this Lang girl lately, haven't you?" Rouge smiled lightly. "I've noticed this ever since you came back from the New World months ago."
Shadow glanced to the side. "...Maybe."
At that moment, they saw Bowser's airship approaching them as Shez came in for a landing. "Okay, easy… easy…!" She said as the airship came to a gentle stop. "Phew…" She sighed in relief as everyone, minus Rosalina and Byleth, jumped off.
"What the-" Ironwood noticed Watts. "You…"
"You." Watts glared at him in annoyance.
"YOU?!" Aqua looked at Vanitas in surprise.
"Sup."
"Hang on." Samus scanned the group with Robyn holding her hand.
"They clean?"
"They're good. Although apparently I'm picking up on something with Futaba." Samus said.
"You mean this?" Futaba activated her Maiden Powers.
"That'll do it." Samus nodded. "Ironwood, that guy's not a machine."
"I'm well aware of the fact." Ironwood said, his arms folded.
"It seems you have your whole posse with you." Watts said, then immediately took notice of Emerald. "...Emerald? I didn't expect you to join the Winter Ops."
"It was more suitable for me." Emerald said, giving Cinder a small glare.
"That said, I don't see your daughter anywhere."
"That's because she's dead. Eggman made sure of it."
"Eggman did her in? Hmph, well, that's another reason to pay him back." He folded his arms. "Hope we can avenge her."
"We"?" Ironwood glared.
BGM: Tension (Persona 5)
"Uh oh…" Clover grimaced.
"What's wrong?" Ruby asked while Yang went and hugged Raven and Maia.
"They… haven't had the best relationship."
"And for good reason." Ironwood growled. "You've always been such a spoiled pain in the ass."
"Really? I'm a pain in the ass? I'm not the one who worked tirelessly to make sure Atlas's security measures were up to code, but you made sure to make yourself a giant compared to the rest of the Atlesian citizens!"
"I gave you everything you wanted!"
"And yet you chose that fat imbecile over me!"
At that moment, a green laser nearly struck Watts as a warning shot.
"That "imbecile" is my father… and I won't allow you to call him that in front of me!"
Penny landed on the ground together with Keebo.
"Oh great, his little puppet's here." Watts grumbled.
"I gave you everything, Arthur. But your ego made it hard to praise your handiwork. You annoyed everyone with you claiming you're "the best scientist in Atlas"."
"What's so wrong about that? I took pride in my work, just like how you took pride in becoming general! Yet time and time again, you praised Pietro, James. While I'm impressed how he managed to make life with his aura, that does not excuse the fact that you swept me under the rug."
"Your ego was your downfall, how you were blinded by everyone else's work when you said their work was inferior to yours. I thought if I praised Pollendina, it'd more than likely knock you off of your high horse."
"Well, guess what, James? It had the opposite effect, and in my point of view, you're more egotistical than I am!"
"What does that have to do with anything?"
"Should we stop this?" Blake wondered.
"No no, I want to see how far this goes." Cinder said.
"Your ego was the reason why I couldn't allow you to be around Esdeath for a moment longer. I was worried your egotistical personality would have rubbed off on her!"
"And yours wouldn't? Tell me, James… if you're such a stellar father, then where's Esdeath right now? Oh wait, my niece is no longer with us because you were too busy hanging around with your Street Fighting buddies that Eggman was responsible for her death!"
Ironwood trembled with rage. "She's not your niece."
"Then why does she keep calling me uncle? …Oh wait, she used to before she died. Now who's fault was that?"
Ironwood growled, reaching for his gun. "You son of a-"
"GUYS, GUYS, GUYS!" Futaba swiftly got between them, her Maiden powers activated as she spread both arms out to create two ice walls.

"Buzzkill." Cinder mumbled, earning a nudge from Neo and Victor. "What?"
"Okay, I get that you both can't stand each other due to both of your egos, but right now, we got more things to worry about than your dick measuring contest, so put those back in your pants right now and you can fight over nothing later. OKAY?"
Both men growled, before folding their arms and looked the other way.
"Fine." Both grumbled.
"Sheesh…" Futaba sighed, the aura in her eyes disappearing. "The last thing we need is going at each other's throats while the world hangs in the balance… again."
"So, I assume you have a few Chaos Emeralds with you?" Elsa asked.
"Well, we had three, but Esdeath's fake pulled a fast one on us and took it away from us." Samus said.
Ruby sighed. "I feel guilty… I was the one who was holding them…"
"Oh…" Ann frowned before smiling. "Cheer up though! We'll get them back! I mean, it's not like she flew to the Death Egg or anything, right?"
"Well…"
"...Oh."
"That's unfortunate… but at least we have one with us." Shadow said.
"By the way, where's SAPR?" Yang asked.
Penny sighed. "Remember when I told you guys a few days ago that R3-B7 came back?"
"Yeah? …Oooooh…"
"Yeah… we tried to get SAPR to calm down after Atlas fell, but R3-B7 took over, knocked us away and flew off. That's the last time we've seen her."
"Who is this SAPR and R3-B7, might I ask?" Watts asked.
"R3-B7 was Eggman's creation to counter Team RWBY." Ann explained. "However, she formed an attachment with Penny, but she was soon destroyed by Eggman. That said, they salvaged her after the Universal Reset and she became a second daughter to Pietro."
"He has two daughters now?"
"And a son. Nagisa, I think." Ruby said.
"Huh, and he couldn't keep the inner R3-B7 in line? Some mechanic he turned out to be." Watts snarked.
A snarl came out of Penny's lips as she clenched her fists. Keebo gently put a hand on her shoulder.
"Easy now…" Keebo whispered.
Penny sighed. "We'll get her back… I know we will… she's not gone." She told herself before she looked over at Weiss. "What's going on with Weiss?"
"Long story." Seryu sighed, scratching her head.
Up on the airship, Rosalina held Byleth in her arms, both sitting down as Byleth's head was resting on her mother's chest.
Rosalina then felt something in Byleth's shoulder. She gently pulled down her sleeve and saw a little scarring in her shoulder. She gently used her magic to pull the microchip out of her shoulder, then crushed it between her fingers.
"Do you… think we'll get to them in time…? I'm not sure myself…"
"Oh honey, I have this small feeling that we'll see them soon. Don't despair, sweetheart… we'll get them back one way or another."
Byleth softly smiled. "Thanks, mom… I think I needed to hear that."
"Hey. Is the time rewinder okay?"
Both of them looked to see Raven and Maia approaching them. "Yang told us everything." Raven explained.
"Aunt Raven…? Sis…?"
"We're not robots. I made damn sure of that." Raven said as she walked over and knelt down. "I think if that happened to me, I'd be in the same situation." She smiled. "You're definitely a trooper. C'mere." She said as she hugged Byleth with Maia joining in.
Back on the ground, Futaba's group looked at Weiss with concern.
"Oh… that's… horrific." Juvia said.
"Poor girl…" Ann frowned.
"The fire that Calyrex described… could it be Dark Weiss?" Sojiro wondered.
"Forgive me, I'm not familiar with Dark Weiss. What's with this dark clone anyway?"
"During one of our earlier adventurers, we were traveling with Pit when we got ourselves dark clones from a woman named Pandora and the Mirror of Truth. They were all sadistic and dark versions of ourselves. Some more sadistic than others…" Ruby shuddered at Dark Ruby's malice. "I'm over it, but thinking about my clone's antics still sends a shiver up my spine."
"I was quite the sadist myself… but… after I died, I was admittedly angry that I died from a Behemoth snacking on me, but… over time, I mellowed out and when Pandora came back, she taught me a few tricks." Dark Weiss explained. "Now… I'm more of a Phoenix rising from the ashes. Reborn into a new person." She said. …Now if only I can figure out an actual name for myself.
"Fascinating…" Watts mused.
At that moment, they heard the sound of a helicopter as they looked up to see Mukuro's helicopter, the X-Tornado and the X-Wing coming in as they landed on the ground, the helicopter powering down immediately.
"Sup!" Junko greeted as they joined them.
"Shadow's got a Chaos Emerald? Somehow, I'm not surprised." Chiaki chuckled… and then Ironwood aimed his gun at them. "Whoa! Easy, we're on your side!"
"Samus." Ironwood cued as Samus scanned all of them.
"They're clean. They're not robots." Samus said.
"I could have told you that!" Deadpool said. "...In fact-" He pulled out his katana and sliced through his arm, cutting it off. "See? Blood! Not oil!"
"Why did you do that?!" Lucy shrieked.
"Eh, just felt like adding in the author's long list of dismembered body parts." Deadpool said as he reattached his arm. "I swear, he's becoming George Lucas."
(...Beg pardon?)
"He's not wrong…" Ibuki snickered.
"Dismemberment aside, we have two Chaos Emeralds." Akira said as Chiaki pulled them out.
"Unfortunately, one's lost most of its power." Chiaki sighed. "To make matters worse, we can't power this up with the Master Emerald because Eggman took it… and roboticized the heck out of Mobius too."
"All the more reason to kick Eggman to the curb. Again." Sonic chuckled while Ruby and Kazuya stared at each other.
"Where's that protective green sister of yours?" Kazuya asked.
"Currently having a moment with my step-mother."
"Still relying on others to stick up for yourself? You still are pathetically weak along with that new rose arm you have."
"Hey!" Yang glared. "Don't you talk about Rubes like-"
"Settle down, Yang. I'm not going to let this guy whittle me down." Ruby said. "After all, he's nothing more than hot air… and besides, how can he call himself strong when the laziest member of the Red Team threw him off a roof?" She smirked.
Kazuya said nothing. He closed his eyes and let out a small amused chuckle before walking off.
"Oh right, I forgot that Grif did that…" Yang chuckled.
"WHAT?!" They heard Chiaki yell as they turned to her. "You had three Emeralds yet a robot Esdeath blindsided you?!"
"It wasn't exactly our proudest moment…" Blake mumbled.
Chiaki groaned. "Yare yare… great, and according to Samus, one of them is also powered down because she accidentally powered up from it."
"Yeeeeah, I wasn't expecting to do that. My bad." Samus rubbed her head.
"So, how exactly are we going to get to the Death Egg?" Iris asked. "It's not like we can go up there since there's probably security in place."
"I'm not exactly sure…" Ruby said.
"Oh, he just made it easy for us!" Ann suddenly spoke up as they turned to see her. "Listen to this!" She raised the volume up on her phone.
"Welcome to the grand reopening of Eggman's Interstellar Amusement Park, also known as Eggmanland! Come one and all to the grand opening as you can experience the lavish amusement rides in this place while witnessing Remnant's final hours! Come relax and enjoy the festivities! Where will you find this extravaganza? The entrance is right here!"
The picture showed the ruins of Atlas and Mantle.
"Come and enjoy the festivities. It'll sure be a blast! OHOHOHOHOHOHO!"
The advertisement turned off.
BGM: Zealous Champion (Halo 2 Anniversary)
"...He's really naming it Eggmanland again?" Sonic deadpanned. "Between the Death Egg Robots and Eggmanlands, he's REALLY scraping the bottom of the barrel with those names."
"All of that IQ and he can't come up with something better." Shadow rolled his eyes.
"I could come up with something better than that. Unfortunately, I can't think of anything right now." Jade admittedly sheepishly.
"Well, let's go visit that amusement park then!" Tatsumi said as they nodded while Ruby was busy texting someone.
"Jaune, did you see that advertisement?"
"Yes. We heard it from Nora's scroll. We're on our way after we drop the survivors off at Toad Town. We'll meet up with you shortly."
"Got it!"
"Hey Dark Weiss!" Deadpool tossed his phone to her.
"Oh!" She grabbed it. "What's all this?"
"A list of names for you to check out in case if you're interested."
"...Why does it say "German names meaning "black"?"
"What? Weiss's color scheme is white. Your color scheme is black. It makes sense!"
"I suppose so, but what's with "Germa-"... ah, best not to think about it." She said as she scrolled through. "Hmm, a lot of good names on here…"
"You're welcome! Oh, and Victor?"
"Yeah?"
"We found your sister in Galar."
"Really?!"
"Yeah, turns out she was a robot clone though."
Victor deflated a bit.
"But! That confirms that Gloria… might be up there!" He pointed toward the sky. "...Uh… beyond those calming snow clouds."
"She's dead?!"
"What? No! I'm talking about the Death Egg! Really hard to pinpoint where it is…"
"Sorry! I was just trying to calm Futaba down." Elsa said.
"Nah, you're good."
Neo smiled. ["I have a feeling Marnie and Piers are up there too."]
Victor nodded. "That's a relief." He smiled. "Let's go get 'em."
"I can take you guys there in a snap." Silver said, closing his eyes as he proceeded to teleport them all, vehicles included, to Atlas.

"I know very well zhat I am prohibited in zhis hospital under your watch given my… antics. Yet I could not stop zhinking about you ever since Atlas fell. It was only a matter of time before I went to check on you. Good zhing I came to perk you up!"
Mikan slowly breathed as she drank some tea. "I could have picked myself up…"
"Ah, but zhere's your pride talking. Pride before the fall, as zhey say."
"I suppose so… I never thought I'd be prideful, though."
"Ah! Everyone has some pride in zhem, zhat is what makes us human after all. Some more so zhan others. Why, if I hadn't come, you probably would have fainted."
Medic patted her on the shoulder. "Breathe, frauline Mikan. You can afford a small break when you're so stretched thin during zhis crisis."
At that moment, Medic's phone went off. "Ein moment." He pulled out a phone. "Ja? Okay, I'll be zhere shortly!" He said as he gave Mikan his Medigun. "Use zhis if you need a boost. I'll go get my Quick-Fix."
"Where are you going?"
"Going someplace else to practice medicine. Auf wiedersehen, frauline!"
Mikan watched him disappear from the front doors. "...Maybe… maybe he's not so bad after all…"
In Atlas…
2:37 AM
Everyone had teleported several yards away from the ruins of Atlas and Mantle. "Whoa!" Robyn said as she and her team stabilized themselves. "Okay… give us a moment…"
"Uuuungh…" Elm groaned. "My head's spinning… Harriet, how about-"
She turned her head to see Harriet having ran off to puke in a bush.
"Oh…"
"You get used to it." Ruby said.
"Alright, with only three Emeralds… I think we can pull this off. We just need to get into that amusement park." Chiaki said, looking at Eggmanland above them.
Suddenly, tractor beams hovered above Chiaki and Shadow, which immediately pulled the Emeralds away from them.

"NO!" She screamed as they were immediately taken into a ship as it flew toward the Death Egg.
"You gotta be kidding me…" Shadow growled.
"OHOHOHOHOHOHO! Did you really expect to collect those Chaos Emeralds all so easily?" Eggman asked from within the ship. "I knew you'd collect them, so I waited until the perfect opportunity to take them all from you!"
"Of course he would have…" Sonic mumbled.
"Now then… now that I have all seven Chaos Emeralds plus the Master Emerald…"
Eggman pressed a button as they saw a loud speaker coming from within the Death Egg.
"Attention people of Remnant! All seven Chaos Emeralds have been brought to me, so you will no longer have to worry about your planet blowing up around 7:30 AM. Instead, your planet will now be destroyed in an hour and a half! OHOHOHOHOHOHO!"
2:40 AM
(1 Hour and 30 Minutes Remain)
"AN HOUR AND A HALF?!" Weiss yelled.
"Oh, he's really asking for it…" Carmen growled.
"As for the ones who brought me the Chaos Emeralds, I have a little "Thank you gift" for you all. Look into the waters… ciao for now!"

"The waters?" Tails wondered as they saw something bubbling coming from it until a large robotic sea creature burst out of it. To their surprise, it looked eerily like Perfect Chaos.
The Gatekeeper - Perfect Chaos 2.0
"Chaos?!" Knuckles exclaimed.
"No… it's a robotic replica!" Rouge exclaimed as Perfect Chaos unleashed a powerful laser at the group.
…However, a rock wall rose up and blocked the attack.
Once the laser ceased and the rock crumbled, Edelgard landed in front of them with her Maiden powers active. "Sorry I'm late, I had to bring a few friends along." She said as Hubert, Claude, Dimitri, Dedue and Ingrid joined them.
BGM: Open Your Heart (Sonic Adventure)
At that moment, Perfect Chaos roared as several Badniks came to aid them.
Edelgard turned to Futaba. "I sense you have a new power." She said as Futaba activated her Maiden powers with a smirk. With a soft smile, Edelgard turned to the giant robot.
"Us Maidens will handle that robot. You deal with the small fry!" Edelgard said, readying Amyr all four Maidens rose up.
"Alright, let's kick some ass!" Raven declared as the four of them flew off together.
Perfect Chaos launched missiles at the four, with all of them quickly avoiding them as Raven's hands crackled with electricity as she fired it at Chaos. The robot roared and unleashed a torrent of water at Raven and Cinder, but they both avoided the attack as Raven lunged forward, conjuring up a fire axe and swung it down, hitting it upside the head and jumped back.
"Persona!" Futaba called as she snapped her fingers, adding some defense to all four of them before ice surrounded her and unleashed an icicle rain to strike Perfect Chaos.
Perfect Chaos roared, aiming directly at Futaba and unleashing a powerful laser but Edelgard quickly put up a rock barrier to protect the Phantom Thief as she conjured up massive fireballs with Cinder helping out as they both threw it down and pelted the robot's weak point.
With a snarl, metal wrapped around Perfect Chaos' weak point and fired lasers sporadically. "Not going to make this easy, huh?" Raven asked.
"Good, I love a challenge!" Cinder said as she pulled her head back and breathed fire as Perfect Chaos unleashed a torrent of water, however, both Raven and Futaba froze the water as Cinder pushed the ice back and struck the monster while Edelgard flew over and swung Amyr down, striking the weak point, but it deflected her away and fired a point blank laser to knock Edelgard back.
"Agh!" Edelgard shook it off as she raised her hand up as the earth underneath the water came up and pierced through the robot, but it was undeterred and fired a flurry of missiles at the group while also using its robotic tentacles to slap them away.
Futaba had several snowflakes wrap around her as she threw them down at the head of Perfect Chaos, where they made icy explosions where Cinder snapped her fingers as small fiery explosions were in place of where Futaba had planted the snowflakes, adding more damage to Perfect Chaos.
Electricity wrapped around Perfect Chaos and unleashed lightning bolts at them, as three of them dodged while Raven put up an electrical force field before flying over, pulling out an electrical sword and slashed at Perfect Chaos.
Perfect Chaos opened its mouth, unleashing a torrent of water that quickly turned into a water laser, cutting through the clouds as it tried to hit the four where Edelgard and Raven both flanked it on both sides, their hands turning into earth as they flew over and Earth Punched Perfect Chaos, leaving decent sized dents in the armor.
"Okay, I have an idea! Can you guys distract it for me?" Cinder asked.
"What do you have in mind?" Edelgard asked.
"Going to give it some indigestion."
"That's probably a one way trip!" Futaba warned.
"Maybe, but I've dealt worse." Cinder smirked.
"Alright, let's give it a shot!" Raven said as they flew around as Perfect Chaos swung its tentacles while firing missiles and lasers.
Cinder flew straight toward Perfect Chaos as Futaba pulled up her technomancy as she quickly conjured up cybernetic blocks after Perfect Chaos opened his mouth to fire a torrent of water at Edelgard, only to discover that it couldn't close its mouth all the way as Cinder gave herself a boost and flew inside the mouth of the robotic beast.
Once she went inside, Perfect Chaos chomped down, breaking through the cybernetic blocks and swung its tentacles at the trio. "Good luck, Cinder…" Futaba said as she avoided the tentacle as she pulled out her ray gun and fired ice beams from it.
Perfect Chaos let out a powerful screech and proceeded to unleash waves of energy at the ladies as Edelgard put up earth barriers as Perfect Chaos then fired lasers at them as they avoided the attacks as Futaba unleashed a powerful stream of water as Perfect Chaos did the same, both of them colliding… until Perfect Chaos pushed Futaba back as Raven quickly flew over and tackled Futaba away as the torrent of water went past them.
With a screech, Perfect Chaos continued to attack them… not noticing it was slowly turning orange before turning red hot. Perfect Chaos unleashed a powerful laser as the three of them avoided the attack as Perfect Chaos was ready to turn his ahead to follow them…
…Until Perfect Chaos exploded into fire, debris being sent everywhere as Edelgard put up an earth shield to protect the three.
Once the smoke cleared, they would see Cinder casually levitating while brushing off some circuitry from her shoulder.

"Told you I dealt with worse." Cinder said as she flew back.
"Phew…" Futaba smiled as they landed with the group who had just took out the rest of the Badniks.
Edelgard immediately took notice of Shez. "Wait, I know you… you're the one who helped us defeat Dark Ruby."
"Y-you remember me?"
"Of course." Edelgard smiled, causing Shez to blush.
At that moment, they saw two Bullheads flying over to them, and when they landed, Jaune's group came out of the first Bullhead, while in the other, Ryu, Guile and Chun-Li came out.
"We got here as soon as we could." Ryu said.
"Looks like your little band is here." Watts said, earning a glare from Ironwood.
Samus scanned them all and immediately pulled up her arm cannon. "Jaune! Get away from Pyrrha!" She ordered.
"What? What are you-"
A Plasma Beam struck Pyrrha.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Jaune yelled. "That's-"
"Jaune…" Ren spoke up as they saw liquid metal repairing the wound from Pyrrha's chest.
"P-Pyrrha…?" Jaune looked at her in horror.
"Jaune… I can explai-"
Doom Guy picked up Pyrrha and proceeded to tear her in half effortlessly, throwing her down as he fired his BFG point blank to finish it off just in case.
"That was a robot clone?!" Erza said in shock.
Laxus growled. "So where's the real one then?" He asked.
"I have a few ideas…" Mercury said, looking up at the Death Egg.
"...Guys? What's going on with Weiss?" Coco asked as they turned to see Weiss slumped over, darkness overtaking her.
"Robotnik taking over… survivors blaming me… Atlas falling… Argus blowing up…"
Darkness started to slowly consume her.
"Ruby's family taken hostage… Byleth blackmailed… Robot Esdeath… Robot Pyrrha… hour and a half left… all Emeralds taken… by Robotnik… Robotnik… Robotnik… ROBOTNIK ROBOTNIK ROBOTNIK ROBOTNIK ROBOTNIK!"
"HRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
BGM: Falling Petals (Fire Emblem Engage)
Darkness shot out of her and unleashed a shockwave that knocked everyone down as the darkness transformed her.
Her hair was spiky in the back, her eyes pupilness as her sclera was completely black. Dark markings appeared on her face. Her outfit changed into a purple dress with blackened sleeves as her heels were iron toed boots.
A sadistic scowl formed in her face.
"ROBOTNIK, YOU ARE ABOUT TO FEEL THE WRATH OF HELL DOWN YOUR DAMN WINDPIPE!"
"Oh no…" Blake said. "WEISS!" She called out but Weiss ignored her as she walked off.
Dark Weiss gasped, her eyes widening in realization. "I'm the fire…"
She clenched her fists as she leapt into action, using some pink fire to catapult herself over Weiss and got in front of her.
"Weiss, stop this!"
"OUT OF MY WAY BEFORE I END YOU."
Fire wrapped around Dark Weiss. "No. I'm going to make sure you don't make a mistake." She said, whistling as her Phoenix came to her aid as she raised her hands up.
"You're not the only one who has a transformation."
The Phoenix latched onto her arms as fire wrapped around the both of them. When the fire dissipated, Dark Weiss looked completely different.
She wore a red and gold Phoenix Qi Piece dress as phoenix beaks acted as shoulder armor. A phoenix tail came out of the back end of the dress. The dress also had symbols of fire and the Underworld symbols were within the fire. She wore golden boots that were shaped like Phoenix talons. She also wore a Phoenix-styled helmet with her ponytail coming out of the center.
Phoenix Wings came out from behind her, flapping proudly.
Risen From the Ashes - Phoenix Dark Weiss
"You call yourself a goddess, yet I'm a phoenix."
"YOU WANTED A SPAR SO BADLY? WELL, I'LL GIVE YOU ONE WHERE I END YOUR MISERABLE LIFE, DARK WEISS."
"I'm no longer Dark Weiss… I go by Meryl now." She said, blue fire wrapping around her.
Corrupted God - Corrupted Deity Weiss
As they were about to fight, Weiss's darkness called upon several Heartless as they all attacked the rest of the group as Weiss swiftly swung Eiskonigen into her.
Dark Weiss, now Meryl, quickly parried with her halberd as it switched to a gun lance that Seryu had created for her as she backed away and shot flames at Weiss.
Weiss batted away the flames as she unleashed a darkened Skyward Strike at her, but Meryl flew up to avoid it as Weiss flew up to meet her, both of them lunging as they both threw a punch that hit both of their cheeks as they were knocked back.
Meryl conjured up green flames and launched it at Weiss, where she flew to the side, but the green flame pulled her in as Meryl flew over and and kicked her down, but Weiss flipped herself over and punched the ground as black ice rose up to try and pierce her, but she swung her halberd to destroy the black ice.
However, Weiss emerged from behind her as shadowy claws came out of her hands and quickly clawed her from behind. "Nnngh!" Meryl grunted as she turned around as she flapped her wings as Blorange feathers shot out, striking Weiss in the arm and freezing her, but she broke free of her ice prison as she shadow stepped toward Meryl and grabbed her by the throat.
"Nnngh… get back… to how you originally were…!" Meryl grunted, her hand conjuring up pink flames as she palm struck her in the chest, the explosion separating the two as Weiss proceeded to conjure up dark flames and shot at Meryl.
Meryl flew down to avoid the flames as she came back up and swung her Halberd/Gun Lance hybrid to knock her away as she flipped it around and shot orange flames at a rapid pace as Weiss was struck by the flames as Meryl flew over and slashed her away.
Weiss had dark flames surround Eiskonigen as they both flew toward each other, pink flames surrounding the Halberd as they both swung at each other, clashing as an explosion knocked Weiss back as she clapped her hands, unleashing a powerful dark image of what appeared to be Demise as the dark image swung its sword down.
Meryl flew around as she noticed the dark image was following her as she fired a combination of white, pink and yellow fire, destroying the dark image as the fire bolts struck Weiss as she screamed, but she unleashed a stream of darkness at Meryl, but she conjured up blue flames and launched a stream of blue fire, connecting into each other as they both struggled to gain the upper hand.
Meryl flashbacked to all the times she had fought Weiss.
"About time you made it. Now I can bury you in this place alive!"
"BURN! BURN TO ASHES! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
"I swear on my life I will make sure to burn you when the time comes!"
"I'm going to enjoy skewering you into a kebab!"
"You're pathetic. I'm going to make sure you die here!"
"You think I'm weak?! If i'm weak, then who's guarding mother?!"
"So what's it going to be, Weiss? You either surrender or mother is no more!"
"What's it going to be, Weiss? You either surrender and turn back to normal or you're going to make a huge mistake that will haunt you forever!"
"I'M NOT GOING TO SURRENDER. YOU ARE GOING TO LOSE JUST LIKE YOU'VE ALWAYS HAVE!"
"You're wrong. This time… I'm winning this not to kill you, but to save you!"
She added more power to it, pushing the stream of darkness back to Weiss as she was slowly consumed in the blue flames as she screamed, then Meryl flew over, grabbing her by the collar and throwing her down to the ground as she wrapped herself in blue fire as she turned herself into a blue fireball-like comet as she slammed into Weiss, grabbing onto her as they both slammed into the ground, creating a crater and a small explosion.
In the crater, Weiss snarled as Meryl was on top of her, only for Weiss to roll over and got on top of Meryl, proceeding to punch her face repeatedly.
"WHY. WON'T. YOU. DIE?!"
However, Meryl grabbed her shoulders and pulled her into a hug, wrapping them both in fire. "It's okay, breathe… She whispered in her ear as Weiss struggled to get out of her grasp, but she couldn't break free.
At that moment, Weiss collapsed into Meryl's chest as the flames dissipated as everyone ran toward the crater after dealing with the Heartless.
End BGM
Meryl held Weiss in her arms as Weiss slowly turned back to normal. "Shhh… it's okay… it's okay…"
"Weiss…" Winter whispered as she slid inside the crater and slowly approached the two.
"Nnngh…" Weiss groaned as she slowly rose up and looked at Meryl in the eyes.
"You feel better now?"
"That… that fight doesn't count… I'd rather fight when I'm more level headed…"
Meryl giggled. "That's fine by me."
Winter sighed a breath of relief and looked to everyone. "She's fine now!"
"Oh thank goodness…" Ruby breathed a sigh of relief as they heard a roar in the distance as they turned to see Rayquaza flying toward them, and then when he landed, Zinnia hopped off with Kyoko, Aoi, Sora, Donald, Goofy, the Blades, and Terry hopped off while Bowser arrived in his Koopa Clown Car.
"Did we miss anything?" Aoi asked.
"Just about…" Yang said.
"I see you brought some artillery with you." Watts said.
"Indeed." Kyoko nodded. "Glad to see you decided to help out."
"Wait, who's this?" Sora asked as he noticed Vanitas with him. "And why is Vanitas with-"
His eyes slowly widened.
"You… you're the one who killed…"
A scowl formed from Sora's lips as he slowly summoned Ultima.
"YOU MONSTER!"
3:00 AM
