"K... Kruger?" Petra asked Adult Eren.
"Yeah." Adult Eren had nodded to her. "You can address me that for now." Eren had adopted the identity of his father's savior and successor, Eren Kruger. But he decided to only use the name, Kruger. They both stood on tall, large and thick tree branches which was at least twenty-five meters high.
Adult Eren then heard large Titan steps coming from behind. He had turned his head around, looked over the giant tree branch he was standing on and down at the ground-just to see Annie Leonhardt as the Female Titan slowly approach the giant tree where Adult Eren had taken Petra to safety. Annie's right Titan eye did not take its eye off Adult Eren.
'Annie. You haven't changed a bit.' Adult Eren had thought.
Petra gasped in fear as she was still petrified of the Female Titan. "W-what do we do?"
"I'll deal with her." Adult Eren had placed a hand near Petra's face.
Petra gasped. "What? You're going to take it on?"
"Not it. Her. And yes." Adult Eren said.
"B-but, that's crazy! The Female Titan is unstoppable! She killed dozens of our fellow soldiers-including my own squad mates!" Petra had then thought of her now deceased squad members. Such as Gunther Schultz, Eld Jinn and Oluo Bozado. "No one has ever encountered the Female Titan and survived! Not one! It's impossible!" Petra had screamed in doubt. Her eyes had watered.
"But I can."
"What makes you think you can beat it?" Petra asked Adult Eren.
"Because... This isn't the first time that I've fought her." Adult Eren had answered.
Petra gasped, again. "What?"
The Female Titan had taken a few steps closer toward the tree where Adult Eren and Petra were sitting and standing on.
"Stay here. This will be over, soon." Adult Eren said, then took a step forward.
Petra gasped, then extended her left hand out toward Adult Eren's backside. "Wait!" By the time Petra had called out, Adult Eren had already jumped off the large tree branch. 'I-Is he insane?'
Meanwhile, as Adult Eren was falling after jumping off a large tree branch, he quickly brought his right hand up to his mouth. ''Annie. This won't go down like the last time.' Adult Eren's mind begun to flood with old memories of when Annie Leonhardt within her Female Titan form had mercilessly slaughtered Squad Levi, including the Petra that Adult Eren had known from his timeline. 'You've killed dozens of Survey Corp. soldiers trying to get to me.' Adult Eren then bit his right hand in attempt to transform into a Titan. Electricity begun surging all across his body. 'But that all changes, today!'
Within five seconds, lightning from the sky had struck Adult Eren's body and had transformed into a Fourteen-Meter Titan. Adult Eren within his Titan form had landed on both his feet, flung his Titan head back and let out a massive roar.
Meanwhile...
As the Survey Corp. were retreating back to Wall Rose, while still in the great Titan Forest... certain members of the Survey Corp. such as Erwin Smith, Mikasa Ackerman and Levi Ackerman were able to respond. Only Mikasa and Levi turned around and followed the sound of the Titan roar. Mikasa recognized it, automatically knowing that it was Eren.
'That's Eren roaring!' Mikasa had thought as she vertically maneuvered her way through the Titan Forest and followed the roar.
'This can't be good! If Eren had transformed, then that means the Female Titan must've found them!' Levi thought of his squad.
Meanwhile...
Adult Eren within his Titan form had faced Annie Leonhardt and stared directly at her. They stood many kilometers apart from each other.
Within the Female Titan's body, Annie had begun inner monologuing to herself. 'What's going on? And who is this guy? I came out here and followed the Survey Corp. into the woods-just to capture Eren. And now I have to deal with another Titan Shifter. The question is... what is this person's Titan? Is he the Founder... or something else?' Annie had thought while in her Female Titan form. Her Titan body had not completely healed from the injuries it sustained from Squad Levi.
As the Titan Shifters stood face-to-face, Petra just watched from above on a giant tree branch. Wandering if her rescuer can defeat the Female Titan.
"Petra! Are you okay?" Teen Eren had called Petra's name while vertically maneuvering his way toward her.
Petra gasped, then looked at the teenage Eren. "Eren!"
"What's going on? And who do you know who that Titan is?" Teen Eren had pointed down and toward his-not knowing future counterpart.
Petra shook her head no toward Teen Eren. "No. I know nothing about this mystery person. Except that he is a Titan Shifter and that his name is-"
Adult Eren within his Titan form then begun charging toward the Female Titan. He pretended to act wild as he rushed toward the Female Titan. Like he did, before. Adult Eren then swung his right Titan fist toward the Female Titan, which she ducked. Eren's Titan body had spun a single time when he punched the thin air.
The Female Titan then decided to run toward Eren and kick Adult Eren in his Titan stomach as hard as she could with her right leg.
Adult Eren did not feel any pain when Annie had kicked him in his stomach-as Adult Eren had possessed the Warhammer Titan's harden ability. 'Nice try, Annie. But I've learned to harden my body, while you were sleeping in that crystal where I came from!' Adult Eren had then grabbed the Female Titan's right leg with both hands and begun to lift it up.
The Female Titan gained a shock look on her Titan face when Eren lifted her right Titan leg over his head. Annie had gasped as she felt her Titan body be lifted off the ground and into the air.
Both Teen Eren and Petra had gasped in shock as they watched Adult Eren lift the Female Titan by the leg and begun to use her like she was a hammer.
'H-he lifted the Female Titan over his head!' Petra thought as she watched Adult Eren fight the Female Titan.
'And he's using the Female Titan like a hammer!' Teen Eren thought.
'This isn't good!' Annie had thought, while her Titan body was being swung in the air above Eren's head. In the next two seconds, Adult Eren had slammed Annie's Titan body into the ground, face first.
Both Teen Eren and Petra were shocked to see the Female Titan visibly wounded by another Titan.
The Female Titan's face was buried in the dirt. And without warning, Adult Eren decided to try and swing Annie around again like a hammer. His Titan decided to grab the Female Titan's right leg again and try to lift her up over his head again. Annie had gasped when she felt her Titan body get swung into the air, again.
Adult Eren slammed Annie's Titan body onto the ground, again. But this time, Annie landed straight onto her back. Hard.
Annie gained a shocking reaction as her Titan eyes stared at the day sky. 'I'm no match for this guy. I have to get out of here and fast!' Annie had thought, then saw Adult Eren attempting to grab her again. She quickly pulled back her Titan legs and kicked Adult Eren in his Titan shoulders. Which did nothing to him.
'Nice try, Annie.' Adult Eren then grabbed Annie's Titan ankles, tightly... then in one second. Then and opened her Titan legs wide enough to where he can get between them Eren then attempted to swing a single punch from his Titan right hand. He aimed for Annie's face, but Annie quickly dodged the punch by moving her Titan head to the right. Adult Eren's fist nearly landed on Annie's right neck.
As Annie was being pinned down and immobilized, she attempted to throw a hard punch toward Eren's right Titan face-this time, hardening her left Titan knuckle. But once again, her attack didn't do anything to Adult Eren's Titan. The Female Titan had severely damaged its left arm by punching Adult Eren's Titan face. The wrist begun to bleed and the hardening on the Female Titan's left knuckle had broken off in shrapnel.
Adult Eren then moved her arm out the way and pinned the Female Titan down by placing his right Titan arm over the Female Titan's neck and his lower Titan body pressed down on the Female Titan's body like a sandwich pinning her down more. 'I got you, now!'
'He's actually pinned the Female Titan!' Teen Eren had thought.
'He immobilized her!' Petra thought as he watched Adult Eren pin down the Female Titan.
'Shit! I can't move! Whoever he is... his Titan body on top of me is too heavy! I can't escape on my own! Unless...' Annie had thought as she stared at Adult Eren through her Female Titan eyes.
Adult Eren within his Titan body kept his Titan body on top of Annie's Titan body so she wouldn't break free. 'I did it. Now, all I have to do is remove Annie from her nape and-' Adult Eren then looked a bit confused when he saw the Female Titan open her jaw so suddenly. 'What? Is she trying to-'
"YYRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOAAAAARRRRRRGGGHH!"
Before Adult Eren could finish his thought process, the Female Titan had let out a loud shriek, like she had done twenty minutes prior when she had been caught by Erwin Smith.
Both Teen Eren and Petra had closed their eyes and covered their ears, tightly as they heard the loud shriek in close up.
'So that's what the that loud shriek was, earlier!' Teen Eren had thought as he stood on giant tree branches and heard a massive shriek.
'I can't believe I'm hearing this terrible shriek, again!' Petra thought as she covered her ears and closed her eyes, tightly.
'Shit! I can't believe I forgot about this! I gotta hurry and stop her!' Adult Eren then raised his upper chest up a bit. Then, it took Adult Eren five seconds to grab the Female Titan's jaw with his left hand, which stopped her from screaming any further. Adult Eren then gripped the Female Titan's jaw and ripped the jaw off her Titan face. Adult Eren quickly rid of the Female Titan's jaw by tossing it to the side. Throwing at away to a nearby tree on his left side.
Both Teen Eren and Petra had then slowly opened their eyes after the Female Titan's shriek had stopped. They slowly removed their hands from their ears as they no longer heard the shriek.
"The shriek stopped..." Petra had noted.
"Petra, look!" Teen Eren then pointed his right index finger toward a certain direction.
Petra had looked toward a certain direction and when she did... she had gasped. Petra had saw Adult Eren's Titan punching the face of the Female Titan, multiple times. 'Kruger's... beating the Female Titan! He's not giving her a chance to recover!' Petra thought as Adult Eren kept punching the Female Titan's face, repeatedly.
Adult Eren had taken a moment to stop punching and looked at the Female Titan's face. Its jaw was crushed, then ripped off... the nose of the Female Titan was smashed, and it looked unrecognizable. The Female Titan's right eyeball had been punched out of the right socket of the Female Titan's face.
'This guy's really going to kill me! I can't move most of my Titan body or try to scream, again! I don't know what to do!' Annie had thought while inside of her Female Titan body. She had ran out of options, until she had thought of something.
"Annie."
Suddenly, Annie started to hear voices in her head. She had gasped. "Dad?" Annie then thought of her adoptive father, Mister Leonhardt. And his words, most importantly.
'I'm so sorry, Annie. I do not expect you to forgive me for what I had put you threw. But, please do this one thing for me. Just one thing... please, come home safe. Even if the world despises you... even if the world does become your enemy... your father will always be on your side."
After remembering the words that Mister Leonhardt had told Annie, before being sent to Paradis... Annie Leonhardt then burst into heavy tears as she had remembered her father. And remembered one thing she can do on her own. One last escape route.
'Alright. Time for me to-' Adult Eren Yeager who still was on top of Annie's Titan body had remained there-staring at Annie's immobilized Titan body. He kept staring for a moment until he saw a light shine from the Female Titan's nape. 'Wait, this is...' Adult Eren had thought. He then moved the Female Titan's head to where he can see Annie Leonhardt crystalizing herself in a last-ditch effort to not be eaten or executed. 'She's crystalizing herself!'
"What the hell is it doing?" Teen Eren asked on what the Female Titan was doing.
"I-I don't know!" Petra had responded.
Within the next five seconds, Annie had completely trapped herself inside a crystal, so that she wouldn't be harmed.
Adult Eren had removed Annie's crystal from the now evaporating Female Titan body. He grabbed the crystal with his Titan hands and stared at her while she was inside the crystal. Annie looked like she had been sleeping inside the crystal. And her hair unloosened. 'Annie. You... and the other you from my timeline had done horrible things in order to try and capture me-the Founder. And look how the tables have turned in both timelines. You had no problem killing innocent people within the walls. But when the both of you were cornered... you both took the coward's way out and hid yourselves inside a crystal so that you can avoid punishment.'
Both Teen Eren and Petra had stared at Adult Titan Eren's backside as they have yet to know what's happened.
'This fight is over.' Adult Eren had thought.
