"Look, I don't like to be the bad guy, that's Obi-Wan's job, but you went too far! You abandoned your post and disrespected the Admiral and you didn't tell anyone." This lecture was not going well, we'd chosen the wrong time for a rescue mission. General Skywalker seemed to already be agitated when he found out about our skirmish on Coruscant. "Yes, General Skywalker," I said in a small voice, looking down. "You aren't going to get away with this easily." He crossed his arms. "I should derank you, but you did help us find a clue about Dooku's location and it was an overall successful rescue." He sighed. "Two weeks with the janitorial staff," he said flatly and looked over at Rex who hadn't moved since Skywalker started talking. He'd never gotten in trouble before, so he didn't know how to act. "Thank you, sir," I said louder, saluting to him. He nodded and turned away. I watched him leave for a moment, then eased and checked on Rex. "You okay?" I stepped in front of him. When he didn't say anything, I waved my hand in front of his face. He shook off and looked at me, startled. "I-I'm fine." His voice was shaking as he turned around. "Come on, it's not that bad. Only two weeks, it could've been worse," I said bounding beside him, rather glad about the overall turnout of the conversation. "Easy for you to say!" He looked at me, oblivious as to why I was so happy. "General Skywalker trusts me." He looked down and sighed wistfully. I was silent as I thought of what to say for a moment. "Well, you're a great soldier. It won't be hard to earn it back." He barely smiled as I hoped he felt a little better. "Yeah, I guess you're right. You're not such a bad little trooper yourself." That made me smile as I gently punched his arm. "Come on. Let's go check on Rebel." We ran off to the medical bay, not very far from the main hangar and met up with Wrecker. "Hey, I expected to find you already with Rebel," I said, slightly out of breath after the brisk jog. "Well, you know, I didn't know if I was allowed, being her brother and all," he said, irritated. "Oh! Wreck- Come on! You know I didn't mean that!" I said, swatting at him. "Mean what?" Rex asked. "Nothing. Wrecker's just being a big baby." I put my hands on my hips as Wrecker guffawed. Rex laughed rolling his eyes. "Come on you two. She's probably waiting on us." He went ahead without us and I quickly moved out of the way before Wrecker could say anything. I caught up with Rex and opened the door. "Hey, how's your leg?" I asked leaning into the back corner of the room, letting Rex and Wrecker enter. "It's, uh, fine." She quickly fidgeted with the loose gauze on her leg, smoothing it down. "I mean, who knew that a lightsaber could cause such a troublesome time?" She laughed nervously, trying to hide something.
