Part 9 - Telling Family And Zahn's Reaction
As soon they arrrived at Michael's, they could see that the rest of the family were there too, for alot of cars outside of his place stood around that she recognised, and they walked into the house before Michael, Eddie and Zahn had arrived.
And the family saw the look on both of their faces, and knew something had happened, that was of the happy nature.
Her grandfather, Patrick Sr, said
"What happened to you two, that makes you this happy?" Bella just grinned wider as Matt said
"Bella got imprinted on just moments ago at the store."
"What who?!" Most said, and Bella grinned and said
"It was Zahn McClarnon who imprinted on me, and I already accepted for I don't want to reject him. Despite my own fears of the whole thing."
And with that most of them smiled or gave her hugs, for she needed it when she came to that point.
At the other three (Michael, Eddie and Zahn) arrived to see this scene, and while her uncles smiled, Zahn was confused of what was going on, but he too smiled at the view of his mate and imprint, and when the rest of them saw him there, they hugged or shook a shocked, confused Zahn's hand in theirs, and he said after a while;
"How are you family again?" Matt said
"I am Bella's godfather now father, after her biological father was murdered just weeks ago. I have custody of her until she is ready to be on her own."
"Oh wow, I am so sorry for your loss, Bella. I shouldn't have asked that."
Bella gave him a teary smile as it still hurt to talk about, but also be reminded of what else had happened that day of her father's murder. Matt said
"It is a painful reminder of what happened that day, for Bella. But with some time, she will heal and move on from what also happened to her that day."
He could feel that and that something else had happened that day to herself, but he wanted her to tell him in her own time, and she could feel that from him, and that made her feel gratitude of his decision on that matter. And he nodded at Matt, not really asking what he meant with Bella's own thing, she could tell him when she was ready to talk about it all.
In no time, the two were talking in the view of the others, so they could keep an eye just to make sure of them being safe and that Bella felt comfortable around Zahn. Neither didn't mind it nor saw it as in a controlling way.
They were in their own world for sure, while getting to know each other better than what they knew of each other already, which was none to himself but she only knew of him from her uncles' talking about the different actors they have worked with.
So before he with Michael and Eddie left for another set work, he gave her his number aswell a sweet kiss on her cheek, that made her blush and smile at him, and she kissed his cheek aswell, before also giving him her own number to reach her.
And they left soon after that, and the others were just happy to see that they were ok with each other that much, and trust was building up between the two fairly well and strong. And that he could respect the boundaries of her own story of pain and loss.
