Episode 143: Dressed To Kill. Part 1. (Part 3).
JOSHUA'S STORY

Joshua and Harry go for a walk, near the Lighthouse, as Bethany heads out, claiming she's going to get some shopping in Manhattan and will be several hours. Rebecca is in doors, making arrangement's for Emma's burial, even though it was who accidently killed her, the week before. Joshua plays Harry, the recorder, that he found in Domini's underground basement computer room. Father and Son, make sure the coast is clear and Joshua plays the tape of Joe Hayes interrogation of Bethany which occurred in the episode 'Silent Treatment.' With Joe Hayes power Bethany admitted to conspiring with Dominic, to murder Jeff in the Caribbean, not before the Cosmo's hypnotized Harry's brother, to commit murder and assisting a wanted al -Qaeda terrorist to plant a Nuclear bomb, in Manhattan, months after 9/ 11. Bethany also explains being in a Mental Institution, after going into severe depression for accidently killing James King in an Arson attack, because Dominic required insurance and had thought Charlotte and his kids, were going away that evening to visit, her mother, but was cancelled at the last minute. Carla had blackmailed Dominic to be on call for jobs with the Cosmo's if requested, for getting her younger sister involved in his problems. Bethany also confesses to being involved in the murders, of Meta Human Vampire, and former Cosmo's Operative Linda Perry, Harry's former work colleague, Steven Whittaker and Rebecca's birth mother, Clara Barton. Bethany also mentions her and Charlotte covering up Glenda Robinson's death in Hex-Ville. Bethany also states that Carla, her Fugitive sister, reunited her with Benjamin. Harry is shocked by the revelations and is sickened by the fact, he's been married to a psychopath for nearly a year and a half and not only that has been involved in multiple murders and Dominic has been blackmailed, due to ordering an Arson attack, which killed his son. Harry is determined to make those who have pained him and his family, pay. He does however, does require the help of Dominic, to bring Bethany down, as he feels Carla will not hide forever, if something terrible was to happen to Bethany and he will be reunited with Jack. Harry asks Joshua for a favour and to somehow get into the Cabin House and retrieve the necklace, that has Extraterretrial power. Joshua insists on calling the Police, but Harry insists they do it the right way, as he needs Bethany and Benjamin to be arrested together, as one or the other could alert Carla as the Cosmo's are dangerous behind the scenes. Dominic seems to want to get even with Bethany himself, but if he's to go to jail, the truth will devastate Deloris. Joshua asks if Harry has a spare key for the Cabin? Harry figures Bethany keeps it with her, in case of somebody suspects them. Joshua suggests an idea. Rebecca is heard calling Harry and Joshua into the house and a News Report comes on the T.V., 'that Abraham Carlisle is missing from the Metropolitan Hospital Center and had been in a Coma for nearly two months.'
Joshua visits Benjamin at the Fishery and again apologizes for accidently, driving his Truck into the Harbour and asks for a peace offering, considering he may be staying for a while at the Wilson residence?
"Sure, what do you have in mind?" Benjamin accepts, without so much as a hesitation.
"Great, " Joshua says. "How about at your Cabin tonight? A few Beers and Pizza. I'll pay of course."
"Tonight I can't. Got a Pool game with the Boy's tonight at 'The Anchor Bar' tonight."
"Uh, OK. How about, tomorrow night?"
"Yeah, that's cool. I'll let you know what time."
Joshua is happy, that he's easily conjured a way to get into Benjamin's Cabin House, without using force. His convincing seemed too easy. However, he may have to wait a full day to get inside. Joshua leaves and Benjamin looks in the mirror and winks at himself.
When Joshua returns home, he hears Rebecca desperately trying to convince Harry to get the Police involved, now they have incriminating on Bethany.
"This Cosmo's Organization is dangerous. Possibly as deadly, as al-Qaeda," Harry warns. They have ways to manipulate the Government and the Law. This has to be done right. If we do this right, we will have to leave Francis Bay."
"You mean underground? Rebecca figures.
"Right."
Joshua sits down.
"What and why have they been creating and using these Meta Humans or whatever?" Joshua asks.
"What we thought was a myth, about a hundred and two years ago, an Extraterrestrial Meteor struck the Western States of America, following a Super Nova light years ago. This Meteor caused a chain reaction, that effectively created Generations of what you call - special people. Some lived there lives in exile, some lived with it or kept in incarceration. Rumour had it Area 51, many decades later, studied the Meta Human's and theory has it, many scientists or persons unknown starting causing corporate Espionage and created Drugs through research and sold these drugs on the Black Market to mutate humans into these different beings," Harry explains.
"For what purpose?"
"Initially, the Governments project was to study them for Military purposes. I guess it comes in handy, if you have an Alien Human Being involved in a War or secret Missions. The underground Gemini, was all about Criminal activity, anything that could break National Security and Law in General."
"Where'd you get all this information?" Rebecca asks.
"Rumours, Magazines and talk shows. Some folk have either disappeared or been killed for spreading their versions of what they know. Gemini was supposedly shut down in the late seventies. Next I heard about Meta Humans and the Cosmos, was around the time, Wall Street was compromised and Jeff discovered his second wife was involved with the Cosmos."
"So the Cosmos have continued where Gemini left off?" Joshua guesses.
"Many years later, yes. Bethany's sister that is, where her father's concerned."
"Was that through rumours?"
Harry hesitates.
"Uh..yeah."
Joshua and Rebecca acknowledge the situation involving the Cosmos and Bethany's connection to her sister. They agree to trap Bethany and Benjamin in the right way. Joshua tells Harry, that Benjamin agreed to a peace offering, the next evening and that they all put their plan in motion and if it does work, Rebecca may have to miss Emma's funeral. Joshua stands up and taps Harry on the shoulder. He has a psychic flashback based on his father.

Harry and Steven Whittaker at a party with friends and associates in 1988. He meets up with an attractive dark haired woman in her early thirties. It's Carla Morrison. They start dancing and they go back to his apartment and have sex. Harry awakes the next morning with a note left on his bedside saying "Catch ya later Stud."
Joshua finds this revelation a bit surprising. He doesn't say anything. Joshua heads into the Kitchen.
Tuesday

Joshua awakes with a throbbing headache and looks at the time. It's 11:30 a.m. He cannot believe he's slept in close to the afternoon. He exits the bedroom and heads downstairs, to find Rebecca alone in the kitchen, looking like she's been on an all night bender, herself. There is aspirin on the table and Joshua takes some with a glass of water. Rebecca shows Joshua a note by Bethany, claiming Harry felt some sort of repercussion of his leg injury and had to rush him Hospital. The two find this rather suspicious, considering both have slept in late. Rebecca calls Bethany on her cell phone. It is turned off.
Joshua and Bethany head into town, to find Benjamin, who is not at work and has not called in. They head over to the bank and discover , Bethany should have worked a shift, but has also not showed up. They start to get really concerned and suspect their worst fears. They head over to the Kings Cafe and see that, the Closed sign is put up, which the local residents start to question. Joshua suggests going to authorities, but Rebecca reminds him, the two of them are on their own and could succumb to the threat of the Cosmos, as they could risk Harry's life, if authorities get involved.
Later that evening, Bethany returns and claims that Harry needs a second operation. Rebecca asks why should turned her phone off? Bethany tells her, her phone battery went flat. Then coincidently Benjamin turns up and informs them all, he stayed at a friends house, following a night out at the Anchor Bar. Benjamin reminds Joshua of the Pizza night that he offered and Joshua reluctantly stands by his offer. Suddenly, it starts to pour down with rain, along with thunder and lightening in tow.
It's late, the thunderstorm gets worse and Joshua grabs the phone to call for a Pizza, when the phone goes dead. He rushes outside and knocks on Benjamins cabin door and he opens it up and states that the phone lines dead and he surprisingly lets him know it's no problem and quickly gets him out of the pouring rain and offers Joshua a beer. Benjamin lays his cards on the table and figures there's no hard feelings. Joshua starts to drink his beer, when Benjamin has to excuse himself. With Benjamin going to the bathroom, Joshua sees his chance and goes in search of the disk, that contains all the secrets of the Cosmos and other critical information. Joshua starts to be overcome with dizziness and he spots Benjamin coming into the bedroom. Joshua tries to lunge at him, but he's groggy and Benjamin punches him.
Darkness, Joshua is in a dark room and it sounds like, he's got nowhere to run, as he's tied up. There's sounds of bumping and crashing, as well as the sound of Thunder outside the room. The house is continuously gets bashed by heavy rain and Lightening continues to light the light sky.
Wednesday
March 5th

It's around 12:20 a.m., Joshua is still in complete dark and there's continuous crashing and bumping. Suddenly, it stops and there's the sound of fumbling and then a torch light, shines in a the dark room. It appears Joshua is in the Wilson Basement. He looks bloodied and bruised and rushes up the Basement stairs and with all his might after several attempts kicks the door through and in comes Scarlett Wilson, soaking wet from the heavy thundery rain. She assists him into the Living Room. Scarlett attempts to ring authorities on the house phone, but the phones dead, so she tries on her cell. Before she can, the two hear dripping and Joshua points the Torch up to the ceiling.
"Oh my God. Rebecca," Joshua panics.
Scarlett grabs the torch off Joshua and rushes up the staircase. Joshua fighting the pain, gets to his feet and groggily walks into the hallway clutching his side. Amongst the Thunder, flashes of Lightening and heavy rain, a gun shot rings out.
