Rebel suddenly gasped and pointed to the doorway before any of us could ask what was wrong. We all turned around and saw nothing but a fleeting shadow, impossible to know but I guessed it was a spy. Already, there was no way we could pull this off; he'd probably already have bounties posted for us. "A spy." I whispered under my breath, unsure of what our next move would be. "That means Palpatine still isn't gonna give up, but we won't either, right?" Rebel said without pausing in between the two sentences, leaving no room for doubt on her end. She was so confident in our cause, we couldn't abandon her. Besides we'd already been marked on Palpatine's radar, I'd only ever had one conversation with him but what I got from it was that he doesn't easily forget grudges, even if we gave up we couldn't forget what we'd heard and I don't think he'd forget us either. We all nodded in unison, afraid to speak. "Good, because I think I have a plan." Rebel seemed to hold herself and, sequentially, us in suspense. We leaned in closer, eager to hear her plan. "We need to lay low and act normal until Palpatine makes his next move." I liked it so far, no need for big moves yet, it would also let him think he was in control for at least a little while, giving him a false sense of security. "Until then we will spy on him and his spies so that we can always stay on top." That made sense, turning the tables on him and using his own strategy against him. "But that will get old so we need to be ready to sneak into his office." I doubted our ability for enough secrecy to pull that off though. We were designed for combat, not sneaking around, but I figured with enough time spying on Palpatine we could practice and hone in on our secret keeping abilities. "If we sneak into his office we can download his plans so that we can have his plans and stay one step ahead, okay?" I liked where this was headed, ultimately we'd be in possession of his plans without him noticing and prove to the Jedi there was a conspiracy all along. There'd be extreme guarding measures surrounding the Chancellor and his plans, they wouldn't just be out in the open. We'd need to either find a way to crack his code or hack into his computer. "So we'd have to hack into his computer?" General Kenobi wondered, having the same thought as me. "Well, yeah." Rebel said, nervous of how the strategic planning master would respond to her hastily formed plan. "Okay, I am cautiously optimistic." He said, stroking his beard. "Okay then! Is that all?" Commander Tano said, clapping her hands together and rushing to the door. We nodded to her and she ran out the door, Kenobi following behind slowly, contemplatively. "We're gonna win this." Rebel said seriously.
