We ate silently, looking out the window and watching the stars and moons, but still feeling uneasy. We crept back to bed quicker than when we'd gone to the mess. I thought I'd feel much more comfortable when I got back to bed but even though I was tired I still couldn't sleep because of the queasiness in my stomach. Morning came quickly and I was grateful for the day to finally start even though I knew I'd be laggy and groggy. I rolled over, yawning to lay on my stomach and peek over the edge of the bed to see if Rebel was awake. She was wide awake but didn't see me, Wrecker busted in a moment later. He was marching enthusiastically and humming loudly and off key. "Hey sho-" He was cut off when he met eyes with Rebel who was glaring at him. They held eye contact for a few moments, and I could see the fear in Wrecker's eyes, he was at his breaking point. It was like a silent staring contest, whoever lost had to leave. So, Wrecker turned and left without saying a word or looking back. Rebel looked up at me, seeming to know I'd already been awake and watching. She slid out of bed and waited for me to join her on the ground.
