"May I see you girls in my office?" He asked, trying to keep his cool. I nodded, hiding the hatred in my eyes as I looked down. He turned around and headed to his office, Rue and I following close after. As we reached the room, Palpatine shooed off anyone guarding the door. "Now, at any other time, I would have you banished or killed. However, you have the Jedi on your side," Palpatine scolded, practically yelling at us. At first, I felt fear and shame, but then I remembered he was the enemy. My eye twitched, and I looked up at Palpatine, looking him right in the eye. "So what if we have the Jedi on our side?" At that point, my anger was off the hook as I walked up to Palpatine and peered down, pushing him backward. "We are holding off on telling anyone, but make no mistake, we will tell everyone if you try to scold us or hurt us and think that we will listen. Understand?" Before Palpatine could answer, I whipped around, slapping Palpatine with my hair, and stormed off, grabbing Rue and pulling her out of the office.
