She left slowly trying not to draw attention and we lingered in the doorway a while giving her a buffer so it didn't seem like we were following her. We exchanged awkward glances, silently, thinking of how to explain what had happened in a professional matter. We kept looking up at the giant clock mounted on the wall, sneaking a peek at how long it had been, but it never met our expectations. Finally we thought it'd been long enough and it was a struggle to walk outside slowly, again we had to pass the office and I shivered. We went down the elevator and out the big door. Rex signaled a cab our way and let Rebel and I in first with Wrecker following as Rex got in the front. He slipped the driver some credits and whispered "Level 7." The driver loosely gestured to him, not caring why clones would go anywhere but the temple like most would. Rebel sighed since she was caught in the middle seat with Wrecker fumbling around with the window. I shook my head, smiled and looked out at the cityscape. He pulled to a stop at the curb on the seventh level and remained silent as we got out. I could tell he was suspicious now that he saw we weren't on duty. We all stood on the sidewalk searching for the Jedi, I saw them standing under a broken street light a few paces down the road but didn't acknowledge them as I looked back to make sure the taxi had left. He backed up slowly and took a wide turn, watching us from the side window the whole time. Once he'd finally disappeared we went over to their position. We all greeted each other with curt nods. "Well has anything happened since our last meeting?" General Kenobi asked after he concluded no one else was going to speak. "Well," Rex started off, still not quite sure how to say this. I saw Kenobi awaiting his next words restlessly. If he wasn't going to say anything, I had to. "Palpatine scolded me and Rebel, making Rebel blow her top so she threatened Palpatine that she would tell everyone, leaving him starstruck, then she slapped him with her hair!" I blurted out suddenly as if my mouth had a mind of its own. General Kenobi turned to Rebel quickly and I knew that wasn't what I should've said but at least it was out. She chuckled nervously. "Also they know we told y'all." She said, trying to hide her face.
