I looked over to see Rebel smushed in the middle seat next to me as she fidgeted with her fingers unable to think in this small space. Finally we got back to the building after what seemed to be a longer than usual ride. The boys and Rebel headed straight for the barracks looking down avoiding eye contact. I sat down on the lower bunk that was across from Rebel's and Rex and Wrecker joined me as Rebel paced in front of us. We were still as stumps while we watched her swiftly striding across the floor, thinking, with her hand on the edge of her chin. "Maul is on Coruscant." She muttered under her breath over and over again struggling to wrap her mind around the concept. She paused suddenly and glanced at me as I blinked at her, dumbfounded. "I'm panicking." She stated simply. It was such an obvious statement but not for her, it was a foreign and unfamiliar emotion that she never openly admitted to usually. She looked down and crossed her arms, blocking out the feeling but also attempting to contain it. "We have to tell Obi-Wan." Rex said without shifting his gaze. It was rare for him to call the generals by their first names, if ever. Everyone was off today though, the confrontation with the chancellor had shaken us up already and now we knew of another Sith's presence on Coruscant. I still nodded to him even though he wasn't looking. Wrecker slid off the bed and bounced up and sauntered over to Rebel, hugging her trying to keep morale up. She sighed and relaxed a little.
