We kept our backs close to the wall, not wanting to lean forward and see if anyone was down here. Suddenly Rebel broke away and headed to the other side of the passageway. I looked to see what she went to and found out it was an escape pod. I doubted getting in an escape pod in hyperspace was a safe thing to do but I was just ready to get out. "Why haven't they killed us yet?" The question popped out of my mouth as I looked all around us expecting for one of them to pounce on us at any moment. It was so confusing to me that they'd leave a functional escape pod near our holding cell, almost tempting us to escape, daring us, it was too easy. "Well," Rebel said shyly, acting like she was trying to hold back what she had to say next. "I may or may not have told Dooku that if they killed us that we would tell everyone about Order 66 and I did some research into Order 66 and found out that you, Wrecker, his squad, and I don't have their chips so we can't turn against the Jedi." She finished as quickly as she could, so quickly she had to gasp for air afterwards. My head was spinning. How did she research the order? I had no idea there was some information on it. I wondered when she talked to Dooku too. I saw her playing with her hair without looking in my direction. "You. did. what?!" I was grateful that we weren't capable of completing Palpatine's request but I was baffled to find that everyone else had chips implanted in them, like machines. I also wondered why we didn't have them almost wanting to fit in but then my mind went to another question. Was it possible to even stop this? I always thought it was only the chancellor we had to be concerned about but now the entire grand army of the republic was involved. Was it even possible to remove or reprogram these chips? Even so, that's billions of clones to treat. Rebel laughed nervously and started to board the escape pod, trying to get away from me. I felt the ship pull backwards like we were stuck in a tractor beam then lurch forward slowing down until it felt like we weren't moving.
