We split up, heading off on our separate missions. "Do we know where the bomber was last spotted?" I asked as we ran to the Senate building exit. "Let's see." Rebel held her hologram up to eye level. "According to intelligence, he was last spotted at the South Exit." She turned off the projection. "Great." I said hoping I'd sounded sincere. We forced ourselves to a gradual stop when we reached outdoors. I tiptoed outside, knowing he could still be armed and dangerous. I heard a shuffle of feet and spun around whipping out my blaster from it's secure place in my holster and taking a shot in the direction of the slight sound. I saw the stun blast land on a target surprisingly, I wasn't expecting to hit anything much less shoot in the first place. The suspect was lying on the ground face down, I could tell they had green skin so I hoped it was who we were looking for, he didn't appear to have just been shot though. I hadn't heard him fall to the ground or have any reflex to the stun. "Trigger finger?" Rebel asked, raising an eyebrow to me, knowing it was an accident. I regained focus and chuckled nervously, nodding as she'd guessed right. Thankfully she didn't think I was just a persistent shooter. She padded over to the suspect and sighed doubtful there was any point in checking for signs of awareness. She stooped over him. "Get General Skywalker." She gestured to the temple without looking. I accepted the task and took off towards the Temple, down the steps to the curb. I signaled a cab, ordering the driver to take me to the Jedi fortress. It was just me this time going to the temple so I decided it was better to call a taxi than take up a whole gunship. Gratefully, the driver was silent, possibly too afraid to speak since everyone knew of the threat on Coruscant and had no other choice but to trust the Jedi as their protectors; they didn't want to insult them now. I paid him and tipped a little as I got out at the enormous doors of the temple looking down on me, judgingly. The courtyard was long and stretched far, so my approach took longer than anticipated. I'd slowed down considerably, thinking it inappropriate to run in the essence of the wellspring of tranquility. The guards watched me advance towards the double doors for a while wondering why a lowly clone had come before them until I was within yelling distance. "Hault! What is your business here?" They spoke in their professional sounding, anonymous voices. "I've come seeking General Skywalker." I put my hands behind my back straightening up, trying to appear like I belonged. "What is the reason behind this?" They didn't budge from their defense positions. "We've subdued the bomber at the South wing of the Senate building. I thought he'd like to know." I stepped closer, not backing down either. They exchanged glances and vanquished their yellow sabers, clicking General Skywalker on his com. I nodded to them and paced back and forth persistently awaiting his arrival, hoping Rebel was managing on her own. "I'm here." He called out, I looked up to the doors and saw him far down the hallway, the echo must've carried his voice. I smiled relieved and saluted him curtly. "Sir." He stopped in front of me. "So you've arrested the traitor?" He said with spite in his words. "Yes, General. Captain Rebel is holding him at the South entrance of the Senate building now." I told him matter of factly. "Good. I'll head over there now." He bowed his head and ran to the hanger to board his speeder.
