I heard Rebel snarl at him as she forced her wrist out of his ensnaring hands. I felt a strong gust of wind come from behind me that sent a chill up my spine, I looked up to the air traffic no longer hearing the ordinary sounds of speeders and horns. I looked back to the siblings seeing Wrecker challenging Rebel, getting in her face, setting Rebel off. She sprung at him and pinned him to the floor but he easily kicked her over on her weak side, with her balance now off because of the prosthetic. I remember the last fight they'd had where both of them were actively involved, not like last time where it was Rebel on the offensive, Wrecker on the defensive. The last time they'd fought like this was when they were cadets, I hardly remember the reason but the outcome could never be forgotten. Rebel had ended up with a twisted wrist and had to wear a brace for a month, Wrecker had gotten a sprained ankle. Now they were bigger and could hurt each other worse, I put my two fingers in my mouth and whistled to them in a piercing octave. They didn't quit though, I heard the hum of a gunship approach loudly and saw Rex get out with his hand on his head looking like he had a headache, on the other side a patch covering a spot I assumed was where the chip had to be taken out. I tried asking him how he was but he saw a distracted worry in my eyes and looked at Wrecker and Rebel equally matched now, taking punches at each other but they both blocked them just in time. "What a lovely sight to return to." Rex grumbled running to hold off Rebel assuming it was her who'd lunged first and needed to be restrained. I hauled Wrecker away from Rebel by his back plate while Rex tugged on Rebel's arm, walking her to the curbside. "Wrecker!" I yelled at him trying to get him to turn around and look at me since he kept pulling against me like an eager puppy on its first walk. He didn't turn but he let up on pulling, I still didn't trust enough to let go of him. "Have y'all not learned y'all's lesson from last time?!" Rex asked rhetorically, looking about to his limit. "Well she started it!" Wrecker pointed at Rebel and I clasped both my hands around his armor tighter worried he'd jump at her. "Started it?! You're the one that snuck up on me!" Rex grabbed her shoulders, jerking her back. "Ugh fine." I watched her fists clench up and her arms fold. "Sorry." They mumbled more to Rex and I than to each other, neither did they look each other in the eye showing that they didn't mean it. I looked at Rex, scared that nothing would work out if we couldn't even work together as I swallowed hard.
