I didn't want to bring the moment back down but there were still some things I thought we should figure out. "How are we gonna get there?" I asked looking at my big brother, he always had the answer, and even though Rebel had spoken up about the plan I was sure she didn't really want to. "We're gonna have to steal a ship, I'm guessing." Rex looked down, not wanting to break the law, but he knew it was our only option. "We have to get enough fuel to get there too." Ahsoka sounded more grown up, but that wasn't what had startled me. I searched the room for where she'd come from, forgetting we'd unintentionally excluded them from our recent plans. General Kenobi stepped out from behind her, his eyes falling on Cody as he raised his eyebrows, confused as to why his Commander was here and if they should even be talking about the plot at all. "Rex told them without telling us that he was gonna." Rebel rolled her eyes as she pointed to Fives and Cody, becoming irritated again at Rex. I'd lost my annoyance for his decision though, concluding that we would eventually need recruits for the rebellion and this was the first step. The General sighed. "Well, what-" Rebel interrupted him, having no fear of repercussions. "The order is supposed to go out at midnight," I wished she'd told us that earlier, I thought she seemed to not be telling us the whole truth, I guess it was good to not know what time it was coming though, it gave us a greater sense of urgency. "and there will be an emergency battle." I jumped when she said that, we had barely any troops on our side to fight much less participate in a battle, if I'd have known earlier, I'd have gotten Rex to take some of my men with him too, but we were still being cautious then, it didn't matter now, none of us were afraid of committing treason anymore now that we knew it was the truth. "Palpatine is most likely gonna get the Jedi spread thin." I froze thinking of all of the generals on the outer rim sieges, our only hope now was that they could hold their own. "Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, you need to be ready to be attacked," She used their names that even I was unfamiliar with, I looked over to her stunned, but there was no remorse on her face, so I looked to the Jedi but they hadn't seemed to care either, I would've looked at Rex but the galaxy was upside down now, no one cared about professionalism anymore. "we all have to be." Rebel sighed out the words, making no move as the sun sunk below the windowsill. "When the sun falls darkness prevails." I said quivering, thinking of the strife we'd see tonight that could never be forgotten as I laid a hand on Rebel's shoulder.
