The final selection

It was time, it was finally time for him and Tanjiro to officially become demon slayers and it was also the time for himself to have a new life again.

That was on the mind of Yukiya when he and Tanjiro entered the wisteria forest. He really didn't expect the other people there to be so odd like that one boy with a boar head on his head and the girl with a butterfly.

It was unfortunate that Urokodaki made him and Tanjiro go to different areas of the test.

It was in order to make sure that they can survive on their own but it's not too big of an issue.

Well at least for Yukiya because according to Urokodaki he is certainly a prodigy but Yukiya is not as sure of that.

Yukiya really wants to write his experience on the test but can't find anything to write down on.

As he waking he hears a scream that makes him run into the area where he heard the screaming and arrival at a cliff.

He looks below and sees one guy about to get eaten by a demon.

Yukiya then readies his sword.

"Snow Breathing: 2nd form Snowfall!"

He jumps down and does a vertical slice through the demon that makes the demon into two different halves

Before the demon can even respond Yukiya cut off both halves heads off of the demon with a normal slice.

Yukiya then makes sure that the guy is okay but unfortunately, he lost an arm before Yukiya could save it.

"I'm sorry that I wasn't able to save your arm"

The other boy then looks at Yukiya with a sad smile "It's okay I just need to get to myself something to make sure I don't die from the blood loss"

The boy looks around and then sees some wood "Maybe I can use that wood"

That pops an idea into Yukiya's mind he can use some wood to write down his experience in the test.

So then he asks the other boy a question "Hey can use some of that wood?"

The other boy responds with a nod and gave Yukiya some of his wood and then leaves.

Yukiya was so excited that he started to write immediately.

"Day 1 saved a boy from a demon but he still lost an arm and he gave me the very wood I write this down on"

He knows that with the wood he got he isn't going be able to write down everything but it would be enough for short notices for every day.

"Day 2 I didn't see any demons so I just mostly looked for food and practice all the forms of Snow breathing"

"Day 3 killed 2 demons today. It wasn't that hard despite them actually working together"

"Day 4 killed another demon so somewhat the same thing as yesterday"

"Day 5 the same as day 2"

"Day 6 think I heard someone get eaten but when I came to check I didn't see anything"

It was already day 7 soon he and the rest of the survivors would be out of there but before he starts to think about that more 3 demons pop up out of the trees.

Yukiya then readies his sword as one of the demons speaks.

"Well it ain't looking good for you at this moment"

Yukiya then looks at them with an odd smile "No it ain't looking good for you actually"

"Snow Breathing: 5th form chaotic ice wall!"

Yukiya's sword sliced the demons in a quick and chaotic way.

And afterward, only one demon is left but before Yukiya can kill it the demon quickly takes Yukiya's sword.

"Well can't do anything to me now that I have your sword-"

That is when the demon's head is sliced off from behind.

Yukiya looks at who saved him and it turned out it was the guy he save

"Well looks likes I save your life as well,"

The guy says with a smile and Yukiya asked him a question.

"By the way I never got your name" " it's Shingo"

The two left the test area and see the other survivors see Tanjiro still alive and run to him.

"Well, at least you are still alive Tanjiro" "You too!"

After that Yukiya and Tanjiro return to Urokodaki's house.

Yukiya was happy for Tanjiro when Tanjiro saw Nezuko was awake and moving around.

The wait for Yukiya and Tanjiro's swords wasn't too long and Yukiya was excited about what color his sword would be.

He was a bit worried for Tanjiro when his sword turned back but he didn't have much time to worry about it as it was time for what color his sword was going to be and it was a snowy white.

But before too long it was time for both Tanjiro and Yukiya's first orders.

As the Story of Yukiya goes on I will give more info on any Breathing styles I have created

Snow Breathing: 2nd form Snowfall: The user drops down from above and does a vertical slice through the target.

Snow Breathing: 5th form chaotic ice wall: The user does multiple chaotic and quick sices.
