Author's Note: And here's the ending! Just like with the previous story, I have really enjoyed writing this one. Making Sanae interact with many characters that she hasn't met in the canon was a really fun thing to do. If there will be a good amount of requests, then I will also write Extra Stage and Phantasm Stage, just like in my previous story with the Extra Stage, and after that, if there will be interest in it, then I will also start writing the Imperishable Night sequel. So please be sure to leave a review, whether you want the continuation or not. I would also appreciate if you could tell how was this story compared to the previous one, was it better or was it worse? Once again, thank you for reading my ramblings, and please enjoy the ending!

After Sanae returned to the shrine, she explained the situation to her goddesses.

They both were worried about the mention of "the mysterious woman" that held such tremendous power, that she could seal a powerful youkai in just seconds.

An even more worrying fact was that she suspiciously introduced herself as "a friend" instead of giving her true name.

But for now they both were just glad, that their wind priestess was well, after all of this.

Sanae also wasn't that content about this conclusion, however, as long as the spring returned to the Gensokyo and nobody was hurt in the process, then it didn't really matter in the end how it was solved...

Moriya Shrine, Afternoon.

Sanae waved back to the couple that was done visiting the shrine.

It was another busy day at the shrine, but thankfully the wind priestess was done for today.

It has been now few days since the resolution of the incident, the spring has finally returned to the Gensokyo and melted away the persistent snow.

Sanae looked at the sky and smiled as the gentle breeze blew past her.

After so many days of seeing gray sky, you could finally see white clouds and sun shining at the earth.

The wind priestess then lightly coughed, since she was already done for the day, then she might as well take a break for now.

She was getting easily tired these past days, was it perhaps the sudden change of the seasons?

Sanae then went inside the shrine back to her room, she quietly entered it and threw herself on the bed.

Her room was just your typical high school girl room, with the exception that she had a lot of various posters from her favorite mangas and anime on the walls.

She then glanced at her drawer on which on top was sitting a miniature Gundam robot!

Sanae smiled at the sight of it, It was the robot that she, Nitori and Alice created together.

The wind priestess, after the incident, took on the offer of the puppeteer and visited her at the Forest of the Magic. She has shown her the Gundam manga and wanted for her to recreate one of the mechs from it.

However, Alice wasn't really used to working with metallic parts, so it wasn't going as well as she thought it would.

But then Sanae thought about inviting a kappa engineer called Nitori Kawashiro to help out in the project, and it turned out to be success!

The combined expertise of creating life-like dolls by the puppeteer and the expertise of technology by the kappa managed to create the perfect copy of Gundam robot!

Even though Sanae calls it "robot" it was more like a toy you would purchase at the shop, with you putting in the batteries, press the button and then the toy would make various moves then stop until you press the button again.

But even so, she was really proud of this "robot" and would always cherish it.

The wind priestess was then slowly drifting off to sleep, most likely from all this fatigue from the day.

But then suddenly someone knocked on her door, which caused her to wake up immediately.

She glanced at the door, then replied.

-It's open!

The door then opened, revealing her wind goddess, Kanako.

-Good work out there, Sanae. Sorry for disturbing you on your break, but there are visitors for you, seems it's the pair from the Netherworld.

The pair from the Netherworld? Would it be THEM?

Sanae nodded.

-Thank you, Lady Kanako. I'll be there shortly.

The wind goddess then nodded and left.

The wind priestess then slowly got up and headed towards the shrine grounds.

She left the shrine and looked around.

Then she saw the ghost princess Yuyuko Saigyouji and her gardener Youmu Konpaku standing not far from the shrine.

Yuyuko then noticed Sanae and gently waved towards her.

-Good afternoon, miss shrine maiden~

Youmu then likewise greeted her by bowing quietly.

The wind priestess nodded.

-Good afternoon. What brings you out there?

-Oh, we are just killing time here while the barrier between Netherworld and Gensokyo is being repaired by the dearest friend of mine, and I wanted to apologize to you for the trouble caused by my actions.

Sanae waved her hand dismissively.

-That's fine, nobody got hurt in the end, so as long as you understand and won't repeat this, then it's alright.

-No, no. I was selfish and made you risk your life and come all the way to the Netherworld just to stop me!

The wind priestess was troubled by the sudden swarm of apologies.

-It's okay really! Like I said, no harm done!

-No, no-

Yuyuko was suddenly interrupted by Youmu.

-Lady Yuyuko, please shut up. I'm sure she understands how sorry you are by now.

The ghost princess pouted.

-Meanie~

Sanae clutched her chin in thought.

-Oh right, will you be able to return to the Netherworld if the barrier gets repaired before you get back?

-We will just fly over it like usual.

Sanae was baffled. This makes that barrier more useless than she thought, at first she thought that the reason she could fly over it was because it was broken in the first place.

-Please make your friend fix the barrier properly this time.

-Don't worry that much, it will be fine~, my friend is expert on the barriers, so I'm sure it will be sturdy one.

Sanae then suddenly sneezed loudly.

-Oh my, that was quite a sneeze. Are you feeling alright, miss shrine maiden?

The wind priestess wiped her nose and nodded slowly.

-I think so. I haven't been feeling well these past days, so I might be coming down with something.

-My, that doesn't sound good. You should take proper care of yourself and get a lot of rest. We won't be bothering you, so please go rest and get well soon! Come Youmu, let us go explore somewhere else, preferably a sweets shop~

Yuyuko then turned around and started heading towards the gate.

The gardener turned towards the wind priestess.

-Thank you for rescuing Lady Yuyuko. I hope you will get well soon, Miss Sanae.

She then turned around and followed the ghost princess.

Sanae waved them off.

She then thought about what the ghost princess said.

The barrier was being repaired by "friend of hers," that was an expert on the barriers. The wind priestess couldn't help but think of the mysterious woman again.

She wasn't feeling well, but perhaps she should head there tomorrow and check things out to make sure that everything is in order.

After all, she just wasn't convinced by the "friendly" manner that the woman was acting like, and the fact that she knew things that she shouldn't have, was very suspicious for her.

But for now, she should take it easy and go back to her room to sleep on it.

There was no rush since the Gensokyo was once again saved...
