Just as planned everyone on the second day has gathered up and is planning for what is coming today. The plan finally is about to happen, and everyone had already prepared for everyone. Merging two realities surely isn't easy, and this is why everyone is less chatty than usual.
"Honey, I've got something for you." Trazyn throws Monika a small bracer: "This is the improved version of the archivist's weapon. If you think about something it will fulfill the request. I have logged every single spell that i could find." Trazyn then demonstrated a spell that shoots out a spark out of his hand.
"Oooh... This is interesting..." As Monika looks at the bracer... After receiving it from Trazyn... She tried to make the bracer do something for her... As the bracer started to glow a bright cyan color... She tried to think of the most basic thing... How about... A spark...A light cyan spark... Came out of Monika's hand... ... ... As it flew towards a nearby wall... ... ... Monika then looked at Trazyn... And she smiles...
"You got it honey! Well, i do think this will help during the incoming situation. Just to warn you, the reason we are geared up because while merging the timeline. We will create a small gap between realities and from there... well, you can think of it like a miniatured eye of terror." Trazyn explained.
"The 'Eye of Terror'" Monika said... While looking directly at Trazyn... "It sounds quite a daunting situation to be in... Yet... I am confident that we can beat this situation with ease... I... Believe... We can... And I am willing to fight for it... No matter the cost... I'll be with you... Traz." Monika then says... With a determined look on her face...
"Well, thanks to Nova's sword that she got from Knight, we can have a rather clear path of communication from our friends in the old world." Trazyn then gives Monika a walkie talkie. You can say hi to everyone on the channel if you want.
"Oh... So that's how we are going to do this... Now... Should I go and talk to them now that I have this... Or do I do it later?" Monika said as she holds the walkie talkie... But Monika decides not to, she is not really in the mood.
"Is there something wrong?" Trazyn asks: "Honey, we've been preparing for this moment for a long time, i think we can get through this. I believe in us. Besides, Minka and Nova will also be there. We will be fine." Trazyn pats Monika's head.
"I... I know... I'm just... I'm a little bit nervous... But I'm sure everything will be fine... Because... I believe in both of us..." Monika says... While looking up at Trazyn... As she smiles at him... "You're right... We're going to be fine... There is nothing to worry about... So... Let's just... Go out there and fight whatever comes our way... Is that right...? Are we ready for it...?" Monika then says... And she waits for Trazyn to give his response...
"Damn right we are." He then gives Monika a kiss on the lips: "Let us get out and meet Nova and Minka. They are surely getting annoyed with how long we have been preparing." Trazyn smiles then holds Monika's hand heading outside.
Minka and Nova are cleaning their weapon, when the couple came out holding hands Nova let out a sigh and shook her head. Minka on the other hand is still adjusting her weapons. After zeroing her sniper rifle scope. Minka then pulls out her halberd. Wields it with extreme proficiency. Monika, however, noticed Minka's eyes were still red, probably she spends the entire night sobbing after their conversation.
"Minka... Is everything alright... Are you ok...?" Monika then asks... As she walks up to them... She then asks Minka once more... Just to make sure that everything is alright...
"Thank mom, i am fine." Yet Minka's expression tells Monika a completely different story.
"Minka... I'm sorry for asking so many questions, but... If something is bothering you... You don't have to hide it from me... You can speak it now... I understand that things might be hard right now... But... You can be calm now because... I'm here for you... I'll always be here for you... So... Please... Don't keep it to yourself this time..." Monika then says.
"I am scared... I really don't want to be here..." Minka finally decided to talk to the people she trusts the most about her fears: "I want to run away... But i can't... not until this entire thing is finished." Minka's hand that is not holding the weapon is shaking: "I hate myself..."
Before Monika could step in, Nova puts her hand on Minka's shoulder and looks at her in a serious stare: "Colonel Aminka Terra. If you are not fitted for the operation, then you should not come. You will put all of us in danger."
Monika stood between Minka and Nova: "Nova.. i know what you're doing is trying to help Minka, but... this is hard on all of us. We will need to rely on everyone's efforts on this. I know you are speaking the truth but... let's all try to be more open to each other's thought right here." Monika then looks at Nova: "Sis, i know you are also worried but... We will survive. I believe in us."
"Monika, you're terribly naive..." Nova shakes her head but then lets out a rare smile: "But fine, i also believe in us. We will survive."
Monika then looks at Minka, who is also having a more eased up expression on her face: "Yeah, i am a hero of the imperium after all. This thing is definitely no match for me!" Minka has a confident look on her face again.
Monika then looks at Trazyn. He just noticed that he also had to say something: "Yeah go team!" He said out half sarcastically. Everyone chuckled because how awkward it was for Trazyn.
They finally arrived at the open field. The place is a plain that cannot be seen till the end. It is beautiful but also empty. Therefore, it is good for them to try, and kick start the process: "We're ready." Trazyn said through the voice channel, and everyone replied with a positive response.
He then stabs his staff on the ground and symbols with magic property start appearing from his bracer. Suddenly the sky darkens, and from the sky a plane size sphere starts appearing from the distance. and it is expanding. Suddenly, a shock wave blasts through out of thin air. and then the rifts open starts to suck in all the air nearby from the distance: "Glissa also started the ritual from her part. Be ready, it is almost time." More magic circles start appearing next to Trazyn. This is causing a heavy drain on him but luckily, he's not human.
Monika saw something coming out from the rift, suddenly she hears hound noises coming out. At first there's one running towards them, but suddenly dozens, even hundreds, start pouring out like water from a pipe. Monika raises her tide bringer and slash force. Suddenly, the wave starts collapsing, and all of the corpses appeared to be cut in half: "Do we seal it?!" Monika shouts at Trazyn.
"No! that is the gate way of magic flows. Everyone needs to defend me until the ritual is finished!" The ground starts cracking behind Trazyn but so far, he is still holding.
Minka created a dome with her halberd to protect Trazyn then stepped outside. More monsters are coming, and Monika can take the frontline, but it won't hold for long. Minka then stands beside Monika and her eyes start glowing in the golden light. The ground shaken and countless pillars stab through monsters. Minka then hovers on air and every monster on the field crumbles into blood water.
Suddenly a projectile shot at Minka but Nova managed to intercept it and killed the monster that shot at her: "Be wary, the scout force is seemingly finished, now they are sending out the big guns." Just as Nova finished talking, a four-legged beast that's as tall as three stories building crawled out of the rift.
Monika then runs straight to the beast. While she is running towards to the best, magic circles outlines armors and begins enhancing her combat ability, she then leaps forward and upper cuts the beat's head. In an instant a huge shock wave blasted through the beast's chin and its head fell on the ground due to extreme force. All the other monsters saw that and started running away back to the rift.
"Did we win?!" Monika saw the monster start running away.
"We haven't even started the merging yet." Trazyn replied: "I sense something extremely powerful is coming through the rift. Prepare yourselves."
The moment after Trazyn finished his sentence. A knight in black armor appeared, with him countless lesser beasts ready to charge. The knight points his sword at Monika. As if challenging her.
Monika stares at the black knight, she also points her sword at him to accept the challenge: "Bring it." She said.
The knight leaps at Monika with impressive speed. And swings his sword at Monika. Monika then blocks with her sword and clashes with his sword: "Is that all you got, monster?! Is that it?! I'm not afraid of you... So bring it all you got!" With her sword still touching with the knight, she then shoots a laser from her eyes, shooting straight at the black knight.
It made the black knight fall a few steps on his back. But he shrugged it off, as if he could not feel the pain. He then summons a war horse from thin air and starts charging towards Monika. As Monika stares at the black knight, the war horse then charges straight at Monika. With one powerful slash... Monika cut the warhorse in half with her mighty sword. But the black knight also managed to hit Monika on the back with the sword.
Bone shattering pain courses through Monika. But due to her near invincibility she is far from being wounded badly. But the blow somehow was sill enough to flatten a tank. Monika looks at the black knight with a hateful look and shoots him with lasers from her eyes again.
Black knight then blinks in front of Monika and hits her on the face, the punch is aiming at her eyes: "Aaargh...!" As Monika then falls to the ground again, she can feel her vision getting blurry, but she can still see the black knight. And she is now furious of what she had done to her: "No more...You are not getting away with this..." As Monika's rage is burning, she then shoots another laser from her eyes straight at the black knight, attempting to kill him once and for all. This time, it hits and cuts the knight in half.
Monika then stood up and glared at the monsters that went through the gate: "Now who's next?!" She points at the lesser beasts with her sword. All of them are terrified about what is happening. They couldn't understand why they are being defeated by only three people. The rest of the monsters are engaging in other front, they can't really do more at the moment.
Suddenly, they all started charging again, as if being told by something. Monika tried to fend off plenty, but more is going through her. Minka then gestures of her hands as if grinding down something, in an instant a wave of invisible force blasts through the battlefield, shredding down every single being except Monika on its way. As Monika stares in awe at the invisible force destroying the monsters... She then looks at Minka and shouts: "Minka! Is this your power?! What do you call this?!"
"Mom, focus on the fight. More huge beasts are coming." Minka sounded very serious and continues annihilating all of the lesser beasts on the battlefield.
More huge beasts are coming through the rift, they are as large as the first one but seemingly less affected by Minka's force attack. Monika then readies her sword, as the huge beasts approach her. Monika leaps forward and cuts through one with ease with a great sword. This goes the same for the second or third. But this also means that more monsters are coming towards Minka, Nova and Trazyn. She can't do much besides trusting her back in them.
Nova drops off her sniper rifle and walks in the middle of the field. She takes out her revolver and fuses lightning energy within it. Then she fired a shot in the middle of the hordes. Suddenly, hundreds if not thousands die in an instant by one bullet. Making the horde suddenly fall on the ground and all fall in silence.
It seems like after this, the horde for this wave starts stopping. Everyone looked at Nova with a look in awe: "I rewind the time for about a hundred times to do this... this is really tiring." Nova said sounding she is rather relaxed, but then she saw the flanks are starts getting through by the monsters, she starts heading towards to the flank to help out.
"It is good enough." Trazyn then creates a barrier in front of the rift sealing it: "I am merging the worldlines now." Suddenly the sky darkens and the sphere in the sky approaches and eventually collapses with this world. But nothing happened. Suddenly this world starts showing small hints of phyrexian infection, black pools start appearing nearby and suddenly the beasts's corpse starts moving again with mechanical features on it while having glowing red eyes.
"Now the real fight starts..." Trazyn continues his ritual. And suddenly a legion of necron army appeared out of thin air. They start shooting at the infected beast.
Suddenly Monika realized something. She sees the black knight slowly getting up while seeming empowered by the phyrexian corruption. Monika pulls out her sword again and stares at him with both worry and a hint of fear.
The moment the black knight saw Monika. He charged towards her and hit her repeatedly with overwhelming force. Even Monika blocks the attack with her black sword that allows her to absorb the hits, but it is still making her hand and bone tramples. Out of desperation, Monika releases the cumulated energy and blasts at the black knight.
The black knight fell back, but the phyrexian glistering oil is keeping him alive as ever. Minka suddenly landed in front of Monika and gave her a glance: "Mom, i will deal with him. The giant beasts are being revived as well. "
"Minka please be safe." Monika then is off to deal with the giant monstrosities that are rising again.
"Now." Minka's amber eyes look at the revived black knight: "Die." Suddenly immense pressure befallen upon the black knight, all the stone and rocks around the knight are being crushed into pieces. But somehow, he is still standing. Minka frowns, this is not possible. Unless... Suddenly Minka felt something jump behind her. She fled on the air and managed to dodge the attack.
From the air Minka finally saw what had just happened, the black knight cast an illusion to confuse both Monika and Minka. Minka saw the real knight and then clenched her hand into a fist. Suddenly the black knight became a ball of meat and armor and splashed on the floor: "Now come back from this-" She lands on the ground. But suddenly she felt immense pain going through her gut. A sword pieced through her stomach, when Minka turned, it was the black knight again. This time, Minka flattened the doubleganger in a meat pie: "Damn it..." Even the nano machine in her body is healing her. But the pain is almost making her pass out.
The battle is still going, but they are seemingly losing. Minka pulls out some bandages and wraps them around her wound. Monika came over because she finished shredding those beasts into pieces: "Minka, let's get you away from this. I can't lose you." Monika then blinks inside of Trazyn's dome, and places herself on the ground: "Trazyn, please take care of Minka." Monika saw the black knight was still somehow regenerating.
Monika has a cold expression on her face, she takes out a power fist and rushes at the black knight with immense speed. She crushed the black knight's every single bit of flesh, turning it into just meat juice. When Monika is done, she is also covered in blood. But the black knight surely was dead.
As they are losing, suddenly they hear Valkyries engines roar above them and starts shooting towards to the phyrexian infected beasts. The backups are finally here. Leonard Terra leads the force, and commands astra militarum forces to help the remaining necron army in the fight. The tide of battle is finally being changed.
Monika goes back to Minka to check on her: "Minka are you ok?" When she was checking on Minka, Monika could see the bandage was all red. Her wound isn't healing for some reason: "No,no,no." Monika activated her bracer and said: "Heal her wound please!" The magic is seemingly helping with the pain but not for the actual wound. With Minka's wound not even healing with magic... Monika then stares in horror at the bandages. Without proper way of dealing with this... She'll die! How do we save Minka?! Monika's mind is screaming for help:" Traz! Help Minka!"
Trazyn is still trying hard to control the merging of worldline: "Honey... If i do that, this entire ritual will be ruined."
"BUT MINKA WILL DIE!" Monika screams at Trayzn: "I DON'T CARE! She is also your blood. Just save... HER...!" Monika then drops down on her knees... As her eyes fill with both anger and hatred: "You can't... You can't let her... Die..." Even Monika knows that Trazyn is doing the right thing, but she just can't accept it.
The paramedics went into the dome but after the checkouts, they shook their heads. They can't do anything to heal Minka, even if they seal the outer wound the internal wound will still kill her.
Minka is lying in Monika's arm her face is pale due to lack of blood, her vision is getting blurry: "It is fine... Mom... I have cheated death once... I think...my time has come."
"Minka! Minka! Please don't die! "As Monika holds Minka in her arms. While her body is shaking badly: "What can I do to save you?! Please!" Tears of horror start rolling down Monika's eyes.
"I didn't get to tell you but... You're the best person I've ever met and a damn qualified mother, better than any." Tears start coming out of Minka's eyes: "Thank you..."
Monika then watches in horror... As Minka's chest slowly starts to slow down... As she watches it closely... She can see Minka's chest movement slowly stops... And a few seconds later... Monika then watches in horror... As Minka's heart stops beating... And the light of her eyes slowly fades away... As Monika watches it... She then stares in shock... As she sees Minka's body... Has no more life in it: "M-Minka..." Monika shakes Minka's body: "Please! Answer me! Say something!"
Monika then buries her face on Minka's chest: "Minka... Please... " As Monika buries her face on Minka's chest... She can feel the coldness of Minka as it fills her body... And with a few final seconds of hoping some miracle will happen... She slowly lets her hopes go... she realizes there is nothing more she can do... And that Minka is... Gone... Forever...
Monika then closes Minka's eyes with her hands and gently places her on the floor. She looks towards Trazyn, even though his face is not changing expression, tears start coming out from his eyes. Trazyn needs to focus to complete the one last step. With an echo in the air. The worldline is now fully emerged.
Trazyn then collapses on the ground. But while he's completely out of strength he is still trying his best to use magic to bring back Minka. Just as expected... It is too late. He pounds the ground with his fist: "Damn it!" He let out a cry of anger. He then looks at Monika with a face full of tears: "I am so sorry... I... I didn't know what to do..."
As Monika watches Trazyn with tears in his eyes... She slowly walks towards Trazyn... And then... She hugs him tightly... As tears start rolling down her eyes: "Traz... There's nothing... You could have done... Nothing... I... I..." She then stares in horror... As she realizes Minka is gone... And there is nothing they can do to bring her back anymore... And Monika slowly breaks down onto the floor... As she starts sobbing uncontrollably
Trazyn also hugged Monika tight, he also broke down while crying. He had seen so much lost during his life. But at this moment... He could not bear the pain alone. Trazyn and Monika are both crying from their heart out... As they hug each other tightly... They try to comfort each other during this nightmare of a moment... In which they both realized... Minka is... Gone... Forever... For what seemed like eternity... Both Trazyn and Monika are crying profusely. As Monika is lying on the floor... Sobbing uncontrollably... Along with Trazyn.
When the troops came, everyone took off their helmets and looked down on the floor while putting their hand on their chests to morne the loss of a hero who bought them enough time to win the battle. They didn't feel the battle was won. Minka's death along with countless people died in the process saved both planets.
Monika notices the many troops putting their hand on their chest... As they mourn the loss of a hero... As she looks down on the floor... She slowly wipes her tears away... And then... She stares into the empty distance... As she tries to hide her grief and sorrow behind her cold and calm expression: "The battle... It is finally over. " She mumbles and picks Trazyn up. Their hands held each other's hard. Everyone on the radio is silent. Nova was on the other side of the battlefield. After hearing Minka's death she went silent.

A few days later, the people who are the closest to Minka gather in the funeral house. Outside, Monika and Trazyn are looking at the sky. Seeing the blue sky that did not exist in their home world for as long as they could remember, Monika couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief: "Minka... if you are seeing this, just you know everything is fine now. Imperium government decided to find a new planet for the phyrexian to live and forged a pact that none shall declare war against another. " As Monika looks up at the cloudless sky... She felt a bit of relief... And with it... Her tears start slowly stopping... As she then turns towards Trazyn: "Traz... I'll miss her so much... The world feels empty without her..."
"I know... Honey... Minka taught me how to be a real living being... for that i cannot thank her enough." Trazyn then takes out a chip that contains all of Minka's memory: "I couldn't replicate what i did last time... but this has everything Minka has experienced in her life... what should i do with it?"
"Maybe one day we will bring her back..." Monika stares at this little chip: "She deserves to be remembered by all...by everyone in the galaxy."
"Minka would hate that. Eventually she will be used by greedy people to generate profit." Trazyn is firm about this: "We should let her rest... Minka did so much for the world."
"I guess... It is the best to let her rest..." As Monika slowly stares towards the chip with Minka's memories... And a small sad smile... She then puts her hand on her stomach, indicating something:" But... One day... She will return... One day..."
They then entered the room with every single person that loved Minka coming. Then they sat in the front row. Emilia came on to the stand and cleared her throat: "We are gathered here today to mourn the passing of a family member." As Emilia cleared her throat... Suddenly... The room became absolutely silent... As everyone stares towards Emilia... With a few people trying to hold back their tears. The room is filled with a sense of sadness... As if everyone was there... Can't believe a person as amazing and heroic as Minka... Is now gone... And they may never see her again...
"But what I can say... Is that... Minka did not die... As a failure... But rather in a way any hero would die... By giving their very best... To protect and save others... In fact,... I'm sure Minka... Is in her happy place where she was born... And watching us... She is watching all of us right now... As we remember her amazing deeds... As well as her heroic death...She... Saved millions... And protected billions of lives... And I believe she will always... Always... Do the same...W-We... Everyone... Who loved Minka... Will never forget her... And will always remember the day that she saves this galaxy..." As Emilia's speech slowly comes to an end... She then looks towards the coffin on her left... And stares into the wooden boards of the coffin... As she closes her eyes in sadness... And silence covers all over the funeral room.
Monika is now relieved that Emilia's speech in Minka's memory is over...The thought of thinking that not long ago, they were still having a heart-to-heart conversation with each other. The thought alone pains her dearly. She then looks towards the coffin: "It... Is time..." Monika stares at the coffin as she slowly approaches it... As she takes a few steps... She then looks towards Trazyn and Emilia: "A-Are you ready?..."
As everyone is prepared... Monika then slowly opens the coffin's lid... As it reveals Minka's still body... The remains of a hero... As Monika stares into the still and emotionless face of Minka. "It... Is time for everyone to say their farewells..." Monika then stares towards everyone in the room... Suddenly tears started flowing down her eyes.
"Goodbye Minka."
"Good night, little Minky."
"Good bye, big sis."
"Goodbye."
"Farewell, Minka."
"Rest well, Minka."
"Rest easy, soldier."
"Minka... goodbye."
"Farewell... my dear daughter..."
Everyone stares at the coffin as they say their farewells to Minka one by one... As they all get the time to say their final goodbyes... They eventually all go silent... As silence... Engulfs the room... As everyone is ready to move on to the final part of this ceremony.
As the room has gone completely silent... Everyone suddenly turned their attention towards Monika: "M-Me?... You want me to... Do it?..."
As Monika holds the coffin with both of her hands... She then looks towards Trazyn, Nova and Emilia: "Ready?"
All three of them nod.
With a sad smile... Monika then closes her eyes... she then started a silent prayer for Minka... And with everyone who were her loved ones... As Monika continues praying for Minka... She then opens her eyes... As she slowly started to carry the coffin outside... Followed by Trazyn, Nova, and Emilia... As Monika carried the coffin with all her strength... Into the burial place for Minka's final resting place.
"Honey...Please..." Trazyn then hands Monika a remote control for descending the coffin into the burial place.
As Monika accepts the remote control... She slowly stares at the coffin. In her eyes... It shows so much sadness and sorrow... As the coffin slowly starts to go towards the ground to be buried in the dirt... Everyone watched as the coffin slowly disappeared out of sight... Eventually the coffin is buried... the coffin is never to be seen... Ever... Again...
Once the coffin had completely descended to the ground... Nobody spokes a word... As the silence of mourning covers everyone. The sky starts turning cloudy and starts raining for some reason, as if it is also mourning for Minka's passing. Eventually people start leaving one by one, except the four people Minka love the most in the world.
"Goodbye...My sweet... Little... Minky..." Monika the buries her head in Trazyn's chest while sobbing uncontrollably. Emilia and Nova both grabbed a shovel and started pushing dirt into the pit. Eventually everything is settled. When everything is settled... Nobody makes a sound... Not a single whisper or a sigh... As a small gust of wind starts flowing from the clouds... As if the wind itself wanted to pay a visit to its lost hero... As the wind... Is slowly disappearing... As everyone just stares at the dirt...
Trazyn then takes out Minka's halberd stab stabs in front of Minka's grave, he then placed the chips inside of the halberd's chip slot: "Minka... You're the bravest and kindest being i have ever met... May you rest in eternal peace."
As Trazyn stabs the halberd onto the dirt... Monika then looks towards the halberd... And slowly stares towards Minka's grave... As tears... Drops into the dirt... As the silence still covers the surrounding area... With only the sound of the wind from the sky still blowing and swirling.
In the end, this place has been deemed as forbidden area by anyone except the family members and friends of Minka Terra. This place is well hidden and thus no one will ever try to disturb Minka's peace. This decree was placed by Leonard Terra, who is now the acting governor of the entire planet.
As the day is now coming to an end... Monika then slowly stares towards the sky for one last time as tears slowly flowing down her eyes... As the wind is the last thing to hear besides Monika's sobbing and sniffling.
