A year later, everyone is seemingly more eased up from the passing of Minka. After visiting the cemetery and telling Minka some stories. Monika stares at the ceiling then a few thoughts start to come into her head: W-What if this leads to me... Being a mother?... i- i am not sure if I'm ready...N-No... I'm just overthinking again... It is really nothing...

Trazyn then finished paying the registration fee and came over to sit beside Monika: "It is all good. We have tried several times; it is bond to work right?"

"I-I... I hope so..."As Monika stares at the reception desk... She then takes a deep breath... As she prepares herself for the examination: "You are right... I am just overthinking... This will be fine..." After Monika takes a few breaths... She eventually gives a small smile as she turns towards Trazyn.

"Have you seen Nova recently?" Trazyn asks: "Last time i tried to talk to her, she gave me a cold stare. After giving birth to Leanna, she really changed her attitudes, hasn't she?"

"Nova...?"As Monika stares at Trazyn... She then smiles a little: "She was... Probably... Still a little bit upset about Minka... So she was... Still in grief from her death...But you need to worry... She is... Fine... She'll be fine. Just give her time... and she'll be fine...We are all fine..." Monika couldn't help but felt she was repeating some words, maybe the entire test situation was making her really anxious. Suddenly a nurse appears from the front desk and calls Monika over: "Oh! It is time for the test! I'm a bit nervous..."

"You got it, honey!" Trazyn does a cheerful gesture.

As Monika grabs her bag, She slowly gets up and walks towards to the door: "Wish me luck!" She winks. As Monika grabs the knob with one hand... She then looks backwards towards Trazyn... And nods to him: "I-I'll be back... Soon!" And with that... Monika then pushes the door open... Then enter the room where the test will be taking place.

Trazyn is sitting outside looking around, while he is not a stranger to human society at this point. But this hospital is for him too 'full of life'. Also, the noise of the baby crying really annoyed him. That high pitch noise is, in his words, torture for his ear drum. A part of him wants to infest the baby with nano scarab so he can shut it up. But after his train of thought has stopped, Monika is already stepping out.

"How did it go?" Trazyn asks as if he has seen his savior from this tormented place.

"Well... we will get it result later but... " Monika paused.

"But?"

"But i think we are having a baby..." Monika's face turns red while saying that: "After i described everything that i have been through, the doctor told me that i am expecting."

Trazyn looked surprised as he raised one eyebrow: "I am surprised you are not panicking!"

"Well... I am not sure what to do first." Monika replies with a smile: "But let's wait for the official result..."

After a few more minutes the doctor has given Monika of the result of the test, Trazyn wanted to see it as well, but Monika insisted on letting him guess based on her expression, she has a warm smile after reading the result.

"Well... i guess the result is... positive?" Trazyn shrugs, the result is 50/50 anyways.

As Monika places the results in Trazyn's hands... She then looks towards the window... And stares outside for a few moments... As she slowly sits down... and crosses her arms: "Well... I suppose... I am not panicking... Because... I am just happy...Happy... That I finally got my chance to be a mother...Happy... That I will soon be a parent...Happy... That the memory of Minka's legacy will live on...Happy... That I am alive...Happy... That you are here with me..."

"And why would I not be here for you?" Trazyn whispers as he places his arm around Monika's shoulders: "Of course I am here with you! I am happy you are pregnant too. Minka deserves to live on. I edited the genetic information based on the document in the M.1.N.K.A project. It was hard but it will work."

"Traz... i trust you." Monika let out a sigh and started heading out of the hospital. The outside starts snowing. Snowflakes fell on Monika's nose making her startled a bit. But then she let out a warm smile, the snow managed to calm her nerves. She's both excited and also worried about being a mother: "Hmm..."As Monika stares towards the snow...She then looks towards Trazyn and smiles: "Are you cold?" As Monika asks that... She then takes off her scarf... And puts it around Trazyn's neck: "Here..."As Trazyn tries to stop her... Monika then forces the scarf into Trazyn's neck: "I won't allow you to get hurt... And that includes... You are being cold." As Monika says that... She then hugs Trazyn... As snow falls on both of them.
