Chapter 8 St Patrick's Day /Red Nose Day

Jake's POV

It was Saint Patrick's Day and red nose day, we were all wearing green. Although I think baby J's green eyes and my green eyes count.

"Hey, Izzy, I have a question." I said.

"No, Jake, baby Jay's green eyes and your green eyes don't count." Izzy answered my question before I even asked.

"How did you know what I was about to ask you?" I wanted to know.

"Because I'm your girlfriend, and I know everything." Izzy said.

"But can I still take a picture of my eyeball, along with baby Jay's?" I exclaimed..

"Hmmmm, no." Izzy yelled.

"You're no fun." I said.

"Yeah, mama no fun!" Baby Jay said as he toddled away.

Izzy's POV

"Princess, baby Jay, Jasmine, it's Red Nose Day, so we are going to the store to donate £1 to buy the red noses.

"Yay road trip!" Both girls and baby Jay exclaimed.

"What can Cubby and I do?" Jake wanted to know.

"You boys do realize that after we donate for Red nose Day we're going straight to the park for a picnic to celebrate St Patrick's Day." I told the boys.

"Sweet!* Both Jake and Cubby said with excitement.

As we arrived at the store, I got the booth ready.

"Come one and help us donate £1 for Red Nose Day!" I shouted.

"Hey Jake, do you mind helping your girlfriend out on this please?" I wanted to know.

"What am I your servant? No, I'm not doing it." Jake refused.

"Say that again?" I wanted Jake to say it again but he kept his mouth shut.

"Oh I meant to say, of course I would do that for you Izzy I would do anything, for the lovely girl that I am going to be marrying in the future please don't kill me." Jake pleaded.

"You're lucky I gave you a warning." I exclaimed.

"Princess help your father." Jake told her.

"No." Princess exclaimed.

"Aww, man." Jake said disappointed.

After the kids and I were done donating, we all went to the park.

"Okay kids Jake and I made some green delicious food to celebrate St Patrick's Day." I told the kids as I took out a nice healthy green salad, green delved eggs, and so much more.

But as I turned around to face my boyfriend Jake he took out beer. Which I was mad about.

"Uh, whatcha got there?" I asked.

"Green smoothie." Jake exclaimed.

"I think Mommy meant the two bottles." Princess corrected.

"Oh these two bottles. Yeah, I brought beer." Jake answered.

"WHY?!" I yelled.

"Okay what's with the yelling?" Jake wanted to know.

"You know why I yelled at you Jake? Because you weren't supposed to bring beer on a picnic while we're celebrating St Patrick's Day." I told my boyfriend straightforwardly.

"Let this be a lesson to you three adorable kids, don't drink beer until you're in your thirties. But since your father is 17 and is about to turn 18 next year, he knows that he's not allowed to bring beer during a picnic while I watch celebrating St Patrick's Day. But did your father listen? No, he did not." I exclaimed.

"Dada got in trouble hahaha." Both baby Jasmine and baby Jay said.

"I'm going to put these beers in the basket so you don't touch them." I said.

"No, my beer's mine." Jake exclaimed.

"Jake, don't be a baby." I reminded him.

"My beer's!" Jake whined.

"Okay, Jake, go sit in the corner." I exclaimed.

"I don't want to sit in the corner." Jake complained.

"Well then behave, or else we're going to cancel this picnic and go home." I reminded him.

"But Mommy, I want to try and find a four leaf clover." Princess told me with her cute adorable little face.

"Oh you guys can stay, and find a four leaf clover with your uncle Cubby, while I take your cranky father here home." I told them.

"Yay, we get to stay behind while dada gets his punishment." Baby Jay exclaimed.

Jake's POV

"Seriously, you're going to leave our kids with Cubby? May I remind you what he did to baby Jay?" I wanted to know.

"Jake, shut up." Cubby said.

"Wait, what did you just say?" I asked.

"I said, shut up. I don't want to hear what you're about to tell Izzy." Cubby told me.

"I can tell her anything I want, she's my girlfriend you can stop me." I said.

"Okay, okay, boys, boys break it up! Cubby, would you be a nice uncle and take your nieces and nephew away so they can find a four-leaf clover?" Izzy offered.

"Aye aye Captain Izzy! Come on kids." Cubby exclaimed as he left with the kids.

Cubby's POV

As the kids and I were searching for some four leaf clovers, baby Jay and baby Jasmine found some.

"Uncle Cubby, lookie I found some?" Baby Jasmine exclaimed.

"That's great! And I see you found some too, baby Jay." I said.

"I didn't find any." Princess said disappointed.

"You'll find some Princess you just have to keep on looking." I exclaimed.

"Hmm, like this one?" Princess asked as she picked up a four-leaf clover off the ground.

"There you go. Now come on, let's go back to Mommy and Daddy." I told the three as I took baby Jay's and Baby Jasmine's hand while Princess was walking behind us.

Izzy's POV

"Good you are back, it's time to go home." I said.

"Yay!" They all said, including Jake.

"What are you happy about, you're still in trouble Jake for bringing beer to our St Patrick's Day picnic."

"Aww man." Jake said sadly.

"Yeah, aww man. And also after this is all over, you are going to write a 1000 words saying I'm not going to bring beer to a picnic.

"Aww, I hate writing." Jake whined again.

Anyway, before we all went home I decided to take some pictures of Cubby and the kids with my camera. Once their pictures were taken Jake I took our pictures as Jake was looking grumpy.

Once we arrived back inside the hideout, I started to work on my bullet journal for my mood tracker this month. While I was watching One Way Or Another by One Direction on my phone, I decided to plan a baking activity for the kids and myself.

"Hey, kids let's bake cookies for Red Nose Day!" I suggested as I walked into the living room.

"Okey dokey Mommy!" Princess said as she and her little brother and sister followed us into the kitchen.

As we were baking, I gave each of the kids their own spoon to lick the frosting off.

"Mmm, yummy frosting." They all exclaimed.

"Uh Izzy I hope our kids don't get high with sugar." Jake said.

"Be quiet the teenager who brought beer to our picnic." I yelled back.

"Do I need to have a talk with you two?" Cubby asked.

"No." Both Jake and I told him.

"Okay kids, the cupcakes are in the oven so let's go make some red noses using paper, a circle and crayons." I explained as we went into the living room.

Once I grabbed the materials, the kids needed to make their own Red noses, Jake was helping baby Jasmine cut out her's Cubby helped Baby Jay, and I helped Princess.

"Ouch, stupid paper cut." Jake cried.

"I'll be back." Jake said as he left.

"Okay, my love." I told him.

Cubby's POV

"Okay, so can we think of ways to donate for Red Nose Day?" I wanted to know.

"We can create t-shirts saying red nose day." Izzy suggested.

"That's a great idea Izzy." Jake said as he came back from the bathroom.

"You okay Daddy?" Princess wanted to know if her daddy was okay.

"Yeah, just a little cut on my finger." Jake told her.

"You'll be fine." Izzy exclaimed.

"Says the girl who gave our kids sugar." Jake said.

"Ugh, here we go again." I said to myself.

"You guys argue like a married couple." Baby Jay exclaimed.

"Agreed!" Baby Jasmine, Princess and I agreed.

"We don't argue that much." Jake said as I took ot a long list and gave it to him.

"Uh, why do you have this?" Jake asked.

"What? When I hear you two start to argue I make a list." Cubby exclaimed.

Ding*

"Oh goodie the cupcakes are done!" Izzy exclaimed as she went into the kitchen.

"Anyway, any other ideas?" Izzy asked.

"I got nothing, at the moment." Jake said.

"Oh, okay." I exclaimed.

Izzy's POV

As I grabbed an empty jar, I placed it on the dining room table saying money only with a sharpie.

After I wrote money only on the jar, Jake came in.

"Hey Jake. What's up?" I wanted to know.

"Are you going to make a chart?" Jake asked.

"Yes, I am." I told him.

"Okay, Izzy." Jake exclaimed as he left.

Once I went into our bedroom, I started to work on making the chart of how much money we are going to make.

After I was done making the chart, it was time for activities for our kids. Those activities were pin the red nose on the face, and bowling for noses.

"Okay, kids time for activities!" I told them.

"What games are we going to play?" Princess asked.

"Well, we are going to play pin the red nose on the face, and bowling for noses." I told her and baby Jasmine.

"Yay!" The girls cheered.

"NO, BOWLING FOR NOSES?!" Baby Jay cried.

"You are going to play." Jake told him.

"No." Baby Jay exclaimed.

"Yes!" Jake yelled.

"No!" Baby Jay told him.

"Oh, and we are going to play a quiz as well." I reminded them.

"No." Baby Jay wined.

"Your doing the games and quiz baby Jay." Jake exclaimed.

"Nuh uh, no bowling for noses or quiz." Baby Jay told him.

"I tried." Jake said.

As baby Jay didn't want to do the activities, I just gave him some papers and crayons so he could scribble.

"Just doodle my baby boy." I told him as he nodded.

"Okay, kids, let's play pin the red nose on the face. Ladies first." I told my girls as Princess went first while I blindfolded her.

"One, two, three!" I exclaimed while spinning my daughter around in circles.

"Go, Princess! You're getting warmer. No wait, colder. No hold up, hotter, now you're warmer again." I said as I started to laugh.

"Did I get it?" Princess asked as she took off her blindfold.

"Hahahaha, it's called pin the nose on the face not pin the nose on Jake's face." I told her.

"My turn!" Baby Jasmine exclaimed as my daughter Princess blindfolded her little sister, and spun her around three times.

While Princess was helping her little sister by telling her she's either hot, warm, or cold, baby Jasmine got it right in the middle of the face and placed the red nose on.

"Yay!" Baby Jasmine cheered.

Okay, now it's time to play bowling for noses. Baby Jay, are you sure you don't want to play?" I asked.

"Okay, I'll play." Baby Jay said as he got up and played bowling for noses and won after the girls went. Even me and Jake had our own boyfriend vs girlfriend bowling for noses battle.

"Ooh, you beat your own boyfriend, I'm not happy." Jake said.

"Stop whining Dada." Baby Jasmine told him.

"I could've said it better myself." I exclaimed as we high fived."

"So what was the point of these activities again?" Cubby wanted to know.

"Each activity is £1 but we can put more in, if we want to." I explained.

"Oh okay, that makes sense, thanks for explaining it to me Izzy." Cubby thanked me.

"You're welcome little brother." I answered.

As we were all now outside of the hideout, the family and I decided to have a bake sale to raise more money.

"Mommy, I'm hungry." Princess told me.

"Well, we are having a bake sale. Do you wanna buy anything to eat?" I asked.

"Yes! Let me go ask Daddy for money." Princess exclaimed as she left giggling while running towards Jake.

Princess's POV

"Daddy may have some money?" I asked.

"Sure! Here are three doubloons by yourself, something pretty." Daddy said.

Once I ran back to Mommy, I stood in front of the booth.

Izzy's POV

"Oh, look baby Jay and baby Jasmine, it's your big sister Princess coming this way to buy something to eat." I told them.

"But what kind daughter, welcome to the bake sale may I help you?"

"Yes may I please have something that won't upset my stomach Mommy?" Princess wanted to know.

"Princess, this is a bake sale with sweets. If you want to buy something healthy you would have to go to the fruit aisle where your uncle Cubby is standing.

"Uh, I'll stick with the sweets, Mommy." Princess told me.

"Come on, I'll give you ten kisses, if you buy an apple." Cubby said.

"Nuh, I'll stick with the sugar thank you uncle Cubby." Princess thanked him.

"Don't get on a sugar high Princess." Jake reminded her.

"I won't daddy!" Princess told him.

After we were done with the bake sale, Jake and I got our three kids dressed up for Red Nose Day. Princess was wearing a red dress, and baby Jasmine was wearing a red shirt with leggings along with red shoes. And baby Jay was wearing a vest with a red bandana, with red sneakers. Once the kids were all dressed up for Red Nose Day, they all ran into the living room where I got some word searches out for each of them to do.

"Ugh, this is too hard." Baby Jay exclaimed.

"Can I help you, my son?" Jake wanted to help.

"Yes, please dada!" Baby Jay answered.

Jake's POV

While Baby Jay and I were looking for some words, Cubby and Izzy were helping the girls with theirs.

"Mommy, I don't want to do this anymore." Princess told her.

"Okay, you can take a break if you want, Princess." Izzy said as she put her word search aside and placed her head down.

Izzy's POV

"Oh look Baby Jasmine, you only have one more word to go." I told my youngest daughter as she found her last word and crossed it off.

After the word searches were done, I hung them on the fridge.

"There you guys can always look at your work." I told Princess baby Jay and baby Jasmine.

"Thanks!" They all thanked me.

We then started to take silly pictures of wearing red noses with my Polaroid camera and Disposable camera as well.

Jake's POV

"Hey, I have an idea how about we go searching for a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow?" I suggested.

"That's a great idea Jakey….. wait, you just want to roll around in gold." Izzy told me.

"No… yes." I admitted.

"Good luck getting him out Mommy." Princess said as we were now on Bucky and following the rainbow to the pot of gold.

"How much longer?" Cubby whined.

"Why?" Izzy wanted to know.

"No reason I just want to know how much longer cuz I want to see the look on your face when you watch your boyfriend jump into the pile of gold." Cubby told her.

"Yeah, like I'm going to jump inside the pile of gold." I said as we all turned around and saw a big giant pot of gold.

Once Bucky lowered his ladder, I immediately jumped in.

"Told ya." Cubby exclaimed.

Cubby's POV

"Gold! All for me gold!" Jake cheered.

"Okay time to go." Izzy said as she was trying to get Jake out.

"Jake, it's time to go." Izzy exclaimed.

"No." Jake answered as Izzy grabbed his ear and pulled him out.

"I am not leaving this pot, its is mine." Jake cried as we already left.

"Wait, no my baby, noooooooooooooo." We heard Jake start to cry out as the rainbow started to disappear.

Izzy's POV

As we all arrived home, the kids and I started to bake donuts which was actually kind of fun for for them. Something that Baby Jay and baby Jasmine along with the Princess enjoyed. The boys Jake and Cubby decided to take a nap on the couch.

"I'll wake up Jake later so we can get ready to go to the St Patrick's parade with Stormy and Peter Pan." I said to myself wow flipping the donuts that were in oil on the stove in a pot.

"Mommy, is Uncle Cubby going to babysit us?" Princess asked while tugging on my leggings.

"Yes sweetie, because I can trust him. Unlike your father. Because your father Jake thinks that Cubby isn't the best babysitter. But I believe that he is." I explained.

"Me too! I love Uncle Cubby, he's adorable." Baby Jasmine said.

"Aww, he loves you guys as well." I told them.

"Okay the donuts are done, I'll just place them on a rack so they can dry. Now we are going to make green frosting to go on top of the donuts." I told them.

"Izzy, that's a lot of sugar though." Jake told me as he walked into the kitchen.

"Jake, I'm busy." I said.

"Sorry." Jake apologized.

Once Jake left, and the donuts were cool along with the frosting being done we placed them on top of the donuts and stacked them up.

"Yay the donuts are done! I'm going to go watch TV!" Baby Jay said as the others ran after him.

"Jake Peter just texted, time to go to the St Patrick's parade with stormy and him." I told him as he was in the middle of watching The Simpsons.

"Yeah hold on just one minute, I want to finish this episode." Jake exclaimed as I grabbed his ear, dragging him out the door.

"Let's go, Mr. Hutchinson." I yelled.

Cubby's POV

"Hey, kids want to watch paw patrol!" I asked my nieces and nephew.

"Yeah!" They all answered as I put on a paw patrol on YouTube.

"Uncle Cubby, this show is funny!" Baby Jasmine exclaimed as I nodded.

"I hate this channel." Baby Jay exclaimed ashw shut the TV off.

"Ahh, turn the TV back on Baby Jay." I told him as he did.

"Thank you, don't do it again." I reminded him.

"Big meaning." Baby Jay said as both baby Jasmine and Princess hit my head.

"Bad Uncle, Cubby, bad!" Baby Jasmine exclaimed.

"Wait until my mama and dada find out." Baby Jasmine told me.

Izzy's POV

"Hey, Jakey, look, a big four leaf clover balloon is coming our way." I told my boyfriend as the balloon came this way while Stormy was on Peter's shoulders.

"Hey, Peter, this is fun, thanks for taking us." Stormy thanked him.

"No, problem." Peter exclaimed.

"Hey, should we check on the kids?" I exclaimed.

"Oh please I'm sure they're fine." Jake said.

"WE ARE CHECKING ON THEM?!" I yelled.

"Ye, yes ma'am!" Jake answered, scared.

As I got out my phone, I started to FaceTime Cubby.

"Cubby, is everything okay back home with the kids?" I wanted to know.

"They are so fine, nothing wrong here. Are you guys enjoying the St Patrick's parade?" Cubby asked.

"Yes, we are. Cubby, you're not lying to us are you?" Jake exclaimed.

"Yeah, Uncle Cubby is lying." Princess told.

"Princess what did your uncle do?" Jake asked.

"Well first baby Jay shut off the TV cuz he doesn't have PAW Patrol, that's when Uncle Cubby told him to turn it back on which he did. I also think Uncle Cubby told him to not do it again in a mean tone." Princess told us.

"CUBBY?!" Jake yelled.

"I'm sorry, guys." Cubby apologized.

"When we get home Cubby, you're going straight to bed." I told him.

Jake's POV

Once the parade was over, Izzy and I went home. As we arrived, we saw our daughter Princess, baby Jay and baby Jasmine watching TV.

"Hello kids we're home from the Saint Patrick's parade! Did you three have fun with your uncle Cubby today?" I asked.

"No! Bubble Guppy was mean to me." Baby Jay exclaimed.

"For the last time, it's uncle Cubby!" Cubby shouted.

"Baby Jay's two, give him a break." Princess told him.

"Ooh your niece told you." Both Izzy and I said.

"I'm going to bed." Cubby exclaimed.

"We're not even done with St Patrick's Day or Red Nose Day. As a matter of fact Cubby, the day is not even over." I told him.

"Well I don't care I'm going to bed, night everyone." Cubby exclaimed as I dragged him away from our bedroom.

"I thought you said that I was going to bed. I can't believe you Iied." Cubby said grumpy.

"I didn't lie to you Cubby," I told him.

"Jake you kind of did lie shame on you." Izzy said.

"How about, you keep your mouth shut Missy." I said.

"That's it, you and I are going to have a long talk." Cubby exclaimed as she grabbed my ear.

"Why can't Izzy have a talk with me Cubby?" I wanted to know.

"Because your girlfriend and my girlfriend are doing Irish dancing, we don't want to bother those two. Also Jake, I never tell your girlfriend to be quiet or tell her to keep her mouth shut." Cubby told me.

"Well I guess I've learned my lesson." I told myself.

"Yes, you have Jake. Now, let's go find our girlfriends." Cubby said as we found them still doing their Irish dancing.

Cubby's POV

"Okay, we love you girls so much but are you going to do that all night?" Both Jake and I wanted to know.

"Well, obviously we are doing this because we want to. Also we're doing a tik tok video of us doing the Irish dancing." Stormy exclaimed.

"Uh, a tik tok video wasn't in the plan." Jake and I told them.

"If your boys say that again, we will pour water all over you and it's going to be cold." Stormy exclaimed.

"Oh come on, it's St Patrick's Day and Red Nose Day." Jake said.

"By the way Izzy, cute leprechaun headband." Jake complimented.

"And that's a nice leprechaun hat you are wearing." Izzy also complimented

"Thank you! Wait a minute, when did you have time to put on that leprechaun headband?" Jake asked.

"Oh that's? I had this on my head all day." Izzy answered.

"Huh, why didn't I notice?" Jake exclaimed.

"Let's take a crazy selfie." Izzy said as she got both her camera and Disposable camera.

"Come on kids, get in!" Izzy told them as they got into the picture.

"Aww, nice guys." Stormy exclaimed.

"Hey, my Pirate family!" Peter said.

"Does that make me part of the family too?" Stormy asked.

"Stormy, you're always family." Peter said as she hugged him.

"Thanks Peter!" Stormy thanked him.

Jake's POV

"Peter, may I please get a drink of cider?" I asked.

"Yes, and since you're the oldest and about to be 18 in one year you're allowed to." Peter answered as I went to go get a bottle of cider and drop the whole bottle.

After I drank The cider I started to get dizzy and tipsy.

"Jake? Hey, Jake? Oh there you are. You okay?" Izzy asked.

Izzy's POV

"Hey, hey you you cutie you remind me of that girl that I date she is way hotter than you." Jake said.

"Jake, I am the girl you're dating, are you okay?" I wanted to know.

"Okay Jake, I think it's time for you to go to bed. Because I think you're drunk, let's go." I said as I helped him up and took my boyfriend to bed.

"Kids, stay with Stormy, uncle Cubby and Peter mommy will be right back." I told them.

"Okay, Mommy!" Princess exclaimed.

As I was having trouble with Jake, he was running around the hideout.

"Jake, you are a little drunk so it's time for bed." I told my boyfriend.

"Aww, but I want to continue playing." Jake demanded.

"Ugh, Jake I don't have time for this. I have other things to do, like watch our kids." Jake was reminded.

"Those kids are weird." Jake said.

"Jacob Alex Hutchinson, you get into bed right now mister!" I yelled.

"Make me." Jake said as I grabbed his jacket Collier and dragged him into our bedroom.

Once I placed Jake in bed, I tucked him in and kissed his forehead.

"Good night." I said as I then left.
