Chapter 13 Easter Sunday
Jake's POV
As Izzy and I woke up early to take our shower, we started to hide the Easter eggs all over the hideout for our kids to find during their Easter egg hunt adventure. Once I placed one more egg under the cushion, Izzy came over.
"Jake I know it's Easter so I want you to wear something that would make it look cute.* Izzy exclaimed while showing a bunny outfit.
"Oh no I am not wearing that ridiculous outfit again." I refused.
"But it worked so well for Cubby, last year. That is until he found out it was you." Izzy said.
"Yeah, still no. There is no way you're making me wear that. I have an idea. You will wear the bunny costume this year." I suggested.
"No can do amigo, I got things to do with the kids later on. It's either you put on the bunny costume Jake, or I will post an Instagram photo of you taking a bath in the tub when you were a baby." Izzy said
Gasps* "You wouldn't." I told her.
"Try me!" Izzy exclaimed.
"Mmmmmmm… all right I will wear the stupid bunny costume give it to me." I said as Izzy throw the bunny costume over my head.
"God damnit, next Easter, I'm going to burn this bunny costume." I mumbled under my breath so Izzy couldn't hear.
"What was that Jake?" Izzy wanted to know.
"Uh, nothing dear." I told her.
As I finally got the stupid bunny costume on I came out of the bathroom.
"Hahahahahahahaha, you look ridiculous Jake hahahaha." Izzy exclaimed as she took a picture.
"Oh my God, this is still going into our Christmas card." Izzy said.
"Okay, I'm done I'm taking this off." I told my girlfriend.
"Oh no, you're going to wear that all day until 12:00 a.m." Izzy said.
"Say what now?" I was shocked.
"You heard me Jake, 12:00 a.m. you are going to wear that until 12:00 a.m. any questions?" Izzy asked.
"Yes, what happens if I have to pee?" I wanted to know.
"Here's a pink bucket." Izzy handed me a pink bucket.
As Izzy and I started to decorate The hideout with Easter decorations, we started to decorate The our hideout with Easter eggs, bunny strings, and Easter egg wreath.
Once we saw Princess baby Jay baby Jasmine and Cubby come downstairs with their Easter baskets they all started to look for the Easter eggs during their Easter hunt.
Cubby's POV
"Hey look kids, an Easter bunny! I wonder where Jake went." I wanted to know.
"I don't know Cubby, maybe he went to the mall." Izzy exclaimed.
"Oh, well I guess it's time to find a new boyfriend Izzy since we can't find Jake what are we going to do?" I asked.
"Okay, first of all I'm not going to search for a new boyfriend, and second, shut up. Like I said before I don't know where Jake is. Do you three kids know where daddy is?" Izzy asked her three children.
"Dada!" Baby Jasmine said as she pulled off the bunny head revealing Jake.
"Oh great, the youngest one found me." Jake said.
"Found Jake!" I exclaimed.
"No, Uncle Cubby, Baby Jasmine found dada, while you just stood there and did nothing." My niece told me.
"Baby Jasmine, may I please have my bunny head back?" Jake asked.
"My bunny head." Baby Jasmine exclaimed.
"No it's mine!" Jake exclaimed.
"Mine!" Baby Jasmine yelled.
"Mine!" Jake exclaimed.
"Oh brother Jake, grow up." Izzy told him.
"I'm grown, I'm 17." Jake told her.
"Oh really, because 17 years olds don't say mine when they're playing tug of war with their own daughter." Izzy said with her arms crossed.
"Anyway, how many Easter eggs did you find baby Jasmine?" Izzy asked.
"I found three." Baby Jasmine told her.
"I found 10 Easter eggs." Princess exclaimed.
"I only found seven Easter eggs mama." Baby Jay said.
Izzy's POV
"Wait a minute, didn't you just had nine easter eggs earlier?" I asked as we all turned and saw Cubby eating two of baby Jay's eggs.
"CUBBY?!" We all yelled.
"Oh were these my nephews?" Cubby asked as we nodded our heads.
"Okay, kids, how about we go and decorate some eggs while Jake has a conversation with Cubby." I suggested.
"Yay! Decorate eggs; deactivate eggs! decorate, decorate, decorate eggs!" They all cheered.
Jake's POV
"I cannot believe you just did! Why would you do that Cubby?" I asked.
"Oh great, I'm having a conversation with a bunny." Cubby said.
"Answer my question." I yelled.
"No." Cubby answered.
"You know what? Don't answer my question besides your staying inside, you're not coming outside with us." I told him.
"But that's not fair." Cubby whined.
"Oh, but if you hadn't taken your nephew's Easter eggs and eaten it, then you wouldn't be in this mess now wouldn't you Cubby?" I wanted to know.
"No." Cubby answered.
"Good boy, I'm glad we're on the same page here.
Izzy's POV
After the kids and I were done decorating or eggs for Easter, Princess was still doing hers.
"Princess you're still decorating your egg?" I wanted to know.
"Yes, Mommy, it's so much fun." Princess exclaimed.
"Jake, Cubby, are you boys coming? We are going to the field." I told the boys.
Princess's POV
Once we arrived at the field, we all saw Lamb, ducklings, chicks, along with baby rabbits. They are just so cute and adorable.
"Mommy, can I take a rabbit home?" I asked.
"Oh, I'm sorry sweetie but these rabbits need to stay with their mother and father." Mommy explained.
"Okay, I understand." I answered.
"Yeah besides, Princess, taking care of a rabbit is a really big responsibility." Daddy exclaimed.
"Can I take the ducklings home?" Baby Jay wanted to know.
"No." Daddy told him.
"Oh well, can't blame a matey for trying." Baby Jay said.
Jake's POV
"Hahaha, it's just like how you said it to me when you were trying to let me use Izzy's pixie dust, Cubby." I told him.
"You were trying to do what now?" Izzy asked.
"Oh, great thanks a lot Jake, now Izzy is going to have a talk with me." Cubby exclaimed.
"Hahaha." I laughed.
"But that talk won't be until tonight mister Andrews." Izzy said as he was now scared.
As we all said our goodbyes to the animals, we decided to take a walk throughout the park while enjoying the sunshine. Izzy, my girlfriend, loves seeing all the flowers bloom. We then started to have a picnic in the park. After the park, we had our second walk this time, Izzy started to pick some flowers.
"Okay, what's with you and picking flowers Iz?" I wanted to know.
"I just love picking them." Izzy answered as we entered the hideout.
"Kids go wash up, and meet me in the kitchen. We are going to bake Easter egg sugar cookies." I told them as they left.
Baby Jasmine's POV
As my big brother and sister were done washing their hands it was my turn.
"Princess, can you help me? I'm scared." I asked as she nodded her head and helped me to wash my hands.
"Okay, now we are going to dry them." Princess said as she placed a towel on both my hands and dried my fingers and thumbs.
"There you go, little sis!" Princess exclaimed as I hugged her.
"Aww, come on, let's go meet your big brother and Mommy in the kitchen." Princess said as she helped me down.
Princess's POV
Once we both arrived into the kitchen, Baby Jay was in the middle of making shapes with a cookie cutter that is a carrot.
"Cool! My turn." Baby Jasmine and I exclaimed as we each took a piece of dough, rolled them out and started to cut into them.
"Look Mommy, made an egg shaped cookie." I told her.
"Aww cute. What are you cutting out baby Jasmine?" Mommy asked.
"A little chicken cookie." Baby Jasmine answered.
"Adorable!" Mommy exclaimed.
"Okay are you three ready to put them in the oven? Then, we can decorate these cookies at the end." Mommy asked as we placed them on a cookie tray.
Once Mommy put the cookies in the oven, we just stood there watching.
"You three can go play, the cookies won't be done if your just standing, and watching them bake." Mommy told us as we ran while chasing each other.
"Uh um, be careful." Daddy said.
"Yes sir." We all answered.
As I was reading a booking in the dining room, I went to check on the cookies as it smelled delicious and surgery. Once I took them out to cool down, Cubby came over with groceries.
"I'm going to make the best dinner ever for my family!" Cubby exclaimed.
"That's really thoughtful of you Cubby." Jake told him as he got to cooking.
"Hey, Jake, do you mind decorating the cookies with the kids?" I asked.
"In my bunny costume?" Jake exclaimed.
"You didn't realize that you went outside, while wearing your bunny costume?" Cubby wanted to know as he was now laughing.
"Laugh at me again, see what happens." Jake told him.
"Izzy? Your boyfriend is scaring me." Cubby said.
"Jake, stop scaring the boy." I exclaimed.
Anyway as I started to put the Easter egg basket filled with the decorative eggs the kids and I decorated with a fake rabbit statue, next to the Easter basket. That's when the kids came downstairs.
"Mommy, I'm hungry." Princess exclaimed.
"Well, your uncle Cubby is cooking dinner right now and I'm done making this cute Easter decorative basket, so let's go decorate these cookies." I told them as we went into the kitchen.
"Princess, who did your hair?" I asked.
"Daddy!" Princess exclaimed with excitement.
"Hey, I tried my best." Jake said.
"You did great, sweetie." I complemented.
"Hey, are you two going to chat all night? Or are we going to eat!" Cubby asked as we all sat down to eat.
