Chapter 15 First Day Of Summer
Jake's POV
It was the first day of Summer and I was driving the family to the beach. Izzy is now six weeks pregnant with our child. I can't wait to become a dad again.
"So, kids, are you ready to have some Summer fun on the beach?" I asked.
"Yes, Daddy!" Princess exclaimed.
"Beach! Beach!" Baby Jasmine cheered.
"Dada, baby Jasmine said a bad word." Baby Jay thought his little sister said a bad word.
"Now baby Jay, you guys are young so don't say bad words okay. Also she said "Beach not the other one." I told him.
"All right kids, what do you guys want to listen to for karaoke?" Izzy asked.
"Peppa pig!" Our friend Cubby picked.
"Cubby, Izzy asked the kids not you." I told him.
"Barney the dinosaur." Baby Jay exclaimed.
"My Little pony!" Baby Jasmine and Princess both cheered.
"Okay, anything else that doesn't involve kitty songs?" I wanted to know.
"Hmmm, Austin & Ally!" Princess said as I smiled.
"Perfect." I said as I played the songs.
As we were all enjoying the song by singing, we pulled up to the beach as all the songs that were saying from Austin & Ally were over including the last one that was two in a million.
"We're here at the beach!" I told the kids and Cubby who cheered.
"Yay!" They all cheered.
"All right kids, let's go to the Hut so we can change into our bathing suits!" I told them as I took Baby Jay while Izzy took the girls.
Izzy's POV
As my daughter Princess was putting her bathing suit on, I waa helping baby Jasmine put hers.
"Baby Jasmine, please put on your bathing suit." I exclaimed.
"No." Baby Jasmine answered.
"Come on baby Jasmine your big sister has hers on." I told her.
"No." Baby Jasmine refused to put on her bathing suit.
"Hey, is everything okay Izzy?" Jake asked as he and Cubby were waiting outside.
"Yeah, just that our daughter baby Jasmine doesn't want to wear her swimsuit." I told him.
"No bathing suit, for baby Jasmine." Our daughter yelled.
"Hey baby jasmine, if I help you put on your swimsuit I can teach you how to make a sandcastle." Our older daughter Princess told her.
"Okay." Baby Jasmine cave in as her big sister helped.
Once Baby Jasmine got her swimsuit on, helped by Princess, Jake, Cubby and the kids went to go play in the sea. While I sunbathed.
"I can't believe I'm six weeks pregnant guys!" J told Jake and Cubby as the kids were sashing themselves.
"Yeah, so what will the baby look like?" Cubby asked.
"Probably a cute baby girl." I thought.
"No, it's going to be a handsome boy." Jake started to argue.
"No no no no Jake, it's going to be a girl. Case, close." I argued back.
"I don't care what our baby is going to look like as long as it's a boy." Jake exclaimed.
"Now hold up a minute, Jake didn't you just say you wanted a girl?" Cubby reminded him.
"Oh, yeah. Forget the argument Izzy." Jake told me as I already forgot it.
"Seriously mommy and daddy you guys are arguing what gender the baby is going to be? You guys are so immature.
"Anyway, if it's a girl it's going to look like Izzy with my hair style." Jake said.
"Okay good guess Jake, but if it's a boy he is going to look like you." I exclaimed.
Jake's POV
"Okay princess, what do you mean by your mother and I am being so immature?" I wanted to know.
"Well to be honest daddy, you and Mommy, argue a lot in the hideout. So, it's not fair we need to hear you guys yelling and screaming at each other." Princess told us while her arms folded.
"Well, you see, Princess we…..?" I didn't get to finish as our daughter was back in the sea with her siblings.
"Cubby, do Izzy and I argue and fight a lot?" I asked.
"I uh, coming Princess, baby Jay and baby Jasmine!" Cubby said as he left.
"I guess we do argue and fight a lot, Izzy." I told her as I realized she has her music on.
"What the? Izzy, aren't you even listening to me?" I wanted to know.
"Oh sorry Jake. But we need to focus on the important things in life like my ultrasound that I will be having in two weeks." Izzy reminded me.
"Wow, before you know it Iz, will be parents to our baby boy or girl again." I said.
"Yeah, but I'm not looking forward to giving birth." Izzy told me.
"I know." It's going to be a long day when we arrive at the hospital once your water breaks." I said.
"Hey I am almost due." Izzy pointed out.
"Oh great." I said.
"What was that!" Izzy yelled.
"I mean, oh goody." I pretended to cheer.
"Jacob Alex Hutchinson, be serious." Izzy told me.
"How about we have a picnic." I suggested but not without kissing Izzy's pregnant stomach.
"Good idea Jake, but did you even bring the picnic basket?" Izzy exclaimed.
"Of course I did." I told her while hiding the picnic basket by the handle.
"Kids, lunch time!" Izzy screamed as they all came out of the water.
"Princess, I made you a peanut butter and jelly sandwich." Izzy told her.
"I don't like it." Princess whined.
Izzy's POV
"Don't worry Princess, I made you a grilled cheese sandwich." Jake exclaimed.
"Yay, thanks Daddy!" Princess thanked him as she took a bite of her sandwich.
"Aww, oh well." I said.
As Cubby, Jake and I were having J2o with strawberries in our glasses, the kids were drinking their apple juice. I was making a 2023 summer bucket list.
Once Cubby and Jake went surfing, I watched the kids.
"Mommy, can we get ice cream?" Princess asked.
"Jake, Cubby, we're going to go get ice cream." I shouted as they ran out of the sea.
"Oh boy ice cream, yay! I want vanilla please?" Baby Jay exclaimed as he got to the ice cream cart.
"Here you go, little boy one vanilla." The ice cream man told him as he handed him the cone.
"I'll take mine as blueberry ice cream." Cubby said as the ice cream gave him blueberry ice cream.
"The girls and I will take chocolate please." Izzy told him.
"Here you go, girls." The ice cream man exclat while giving us our ice cream.
"Yummy chocolate!" We all said as the girls and I laughed while the boys rolled their eyes.
"Oh stop rolling your eyes boys." I told them.
"No, we are going to keep rolling your eyes at you girls." Cubby said as I glared.
"Or, Jake and I will just keep our mouths shut and you can just take pictures, after we have our slushies and you have a fruit salad." Cubby said scared.
"Thank you, Cubby." I thanked him as we went to go get slushies and I was eating a fruit salad.
Once we were all having fun, I decided to do some doodling I my bullet journal, while the kids were burying Cubby and Jake in the sand.
"Noooo, Izzy we've been captured by the kids, help us!" Both Cubby and Jake said.
"Oh I'm sorry boys, but mommy can't talk right now." I told them.
As we were all watching the sunset go down, I took out my phone and shot a picture of it.
"Happy first day of SUMMER!!!!
