Chapter 73: Planning for the Future.
IS Academy, two weeks later.
"...to those of you leaving us this year we wish you the best of luck in your future endeavours. As for those that are remaining for the fourth year we are excite to see you ladies grow even more. To all of you as the student council president, I thank you for being a shining example of IS academy's best." Seth finished his speech which should have left the inspired or emotional, had Seth not looked completely exhausted. Dark bags were on his face, his posture was not straight. Having a newborn was one of the toughest challenges he had. Hell the one giving the speech wasn't him. It was a clone. The real one was off to the side cradling a small light purple hair boy.
Poseidon Fairs was a handful of trouble. He had spent the last few days with Neptune who was recovering from giving birth. Both parents had been busy with dealing with this small terror, but Neptune really needed some rest. So Seth took him for the day. He just forgot that he had to deliver a speech today. Luckily clones made his work load a bit lighter. After the speech was over, the father and son made their way back to class. As Seth walked, he started thinking over how quickly these past two weeks were. It was a gestation period of only 150ish days. Nearly half of a normal human. Neptune was in labor for 15 hours, though to Seth it seemed to be much longer. After that Lelouch took over most of his duties but there were a few things that Seth had to do as the Eternal Empire's head of state. Such as finizaling the alliance with the French and he had to attend a ceremony next week. Announcement of the alliance had been shocking for the world, but Seth was one step closer to being recognized by the world.
The senior graduated a week before the rest of the classes year ended. So this last week was just explaining what the next year would hold for the most part, since testing was done.
As he opened the door to the classroom all eyes shifted towards him, which was then followed by gaspings from the girls in the class. Maya and Chifuyu turned their heads towards the door and Maya began to squeal.
"Oh my god!" As Maya approach she was suddenly held in place by an invisible force. Seth didn't realize what he was doing until he noticed Maya standing there with a shocked looked on her face.
"Ah,sorry Maya-sensei. I did that subconsciously. Guess I'm really protective of little Poey. You want to see him right?" Seth as he released his hold on the teacher. Maya now got close enough see the small newborn resting in his arms. Chifuyu came up behind her and took a look at her new nephew. The class began make a lot of noise which woke up Poseidon and he began to cry out.
"It's okay. Hush, hush now, papa needs you to sleep more." Seth said as he began to rock back and forth. This seemed to calm down the boy who was just staring at his father. "You wanna hold him before you start your class?" Seth asked Chifuyu. He had sent her a photo after he was born, but this was the first time they had met.
Chifuyu came up and held her hands out. He gently placed Poseidon in her arms and let her hold him. She looked down at his orange eyes and began to lull him to sleep. She even began to talk in that baby voice, much to the shock of everyone in the class.
"What? I did the same for you when you were a baby." Chifuyu said as she saw the shocked looked on her brother's face.
"It just seems so out of character. I thought you would speak to him in that strict tone you alway talk in." Suddenly a black attendance book smacked him on the head. Due to his sleep deprived state, be couldn't avoid it and took the full might of the strike.
"Do you think I'm a complete sociopath?" This action also got Poseidon to let out a chorus of excited gargles.
"Oh? So you like it when I beat your old man. Don't ya you tiny little purple hair munchkin. Don't ya." This was followed by Chifuyu giving a few pecks on the forehead of the cheerful baby. Leaving the classroom stunned. Noticing this Chifuyu changed her tone and addressed the class.
"What? I'm still a woman with maternal instincts. There is nothing wrong with my actions."
"I think it's more the fact the fear first brunhilda is acting so-" Before he could finish, Seth got smacked again and this time stayed on the ground.
"You haven't had much sleep have you, Seth?" Maya asked.
"That's one way of putting it. All he does is eat, cries, sleeps and poop. Mostly the first two. Speaking of which, someone made a mess in their pants." Seth said as he grabbed his lifted the small boy and sniffed his rear. He recoiled and turned his head.
"I swear they smell worse everyday. Well I'll be back ." Seth said as he grabbed his son and his large bag and headed out. He arrived back ten minute later missing his blazer and his hair was wet.
"If there's any assignments give them to Samus, I'm going home. He peed on me while changing." Before either teacher replied, he left the doorway and a shuttle arrived at the academy.
Meanwhile with Akikaze
The first prince of the Eternal Empire was playing in a lush forest. He wasn't alone however. A small girl with shoulder length black hair and light brown yes. She was roughly the same age as the boy and was a bit of a tomboy. The two were enjoying each other company while being watched by four adults. Chiharu Orimura was watch the two kids with a smile on her face.
"Never thought our grandchildren would play together like this Hanzo-sensei, Sayuri-sensei." Chiharu said as she took a sip from her drink. The silver hair beauty smiled at her former student and the rugged older man still had his eyes closed. After a few seconds the older man open his eyes and looked at Chiharu's husband, Merek. No hostility was in his eye, but he was examining the man. Being honest, the legendary shinobi Hanzo wasn't a big fan of Merek, since he cut Chiharu's shinobi career short. She and her twin sister was given the rank of Kagura at the age of 17. Both had many bright years ahead of them, when Chiharu fell pregnant and wanted to focus on raising her kids. So she took far less dangerous missions, and soon after her extended family, including her twin sister vanished. Somewhere along the line, Chiharu found her nieces and took them in.
But he held no malice towards the man. Like he did in his youth, he found a woman he fancy, cutting her career for a bit. Then they had a girl and his own daughter found love and gave life to young Asuka, who he loved dearly. Now he ran a sushi shop with his son-in-law, who was a normal man.
"Sometimes life's greatest gifts are the one you don't expect. I'm sure being back in your children's lives must be wonderful. And you dragged back the man that knock you up." Hanzo was smack in the back of the head by his wife, and a red blush appeared on Merek's face.
Meanwhile the two kids were running around a tree. They were playing tag, but Asuka couldn't catch Akikaze. He never seemed to become winded, or tire. While she was breathing heavily.
"Why don't you slow down? No one can beat me in gym!" Asuka said with a slightly upset tone.
"I don't know. I just don't get tired. I can run and run and run and I'm fine. I also eat a lot of food." As Akikaze was talking, Asuka leaped towards him, but to her surprise, Akikaze jump up at least 5 meters and landed on a branch.
"Close Asuka, but you gotta be quicker." Akikaze said in a teasing tone.
"Grr!" Akikaze watched Asuka start to climb up the tree after the brown haired boy. Seeing this, the boy began to climb higher up the tree. Soon the girl began to chase the boy in the branches, she would get close, but he evaded her. However, it's not safe for kids to be playing in the trees. Asuka took one misstep and slipped off the branch.
Asuka's scream gained the attention of the four adults, and they rushed, but it was too late. Asuka would hit the floor before they got there. Yet, as she was three feet above the ground, she was held up by an unseen force. Asuka looked around scared and confused. She looked up and saw Akikaze holding out his left arm and breathing very heavily. Asuka suddenly dropped to the ground. A little hurt, but she was much better than how she would have, had she struck the ground at full speed. She was shaken, but alright. Hanzo had rushed towards his grandmother and looked over her. He had no idea how Asuka floated in the air. Sayuri had just arrived and looked up towards the tree branches. She saw Akikaze lost consciousness and began to fall forward. Sayuri jumped up and caught the boy.
"What was that?" Sayuri said as she looked at the child in her arms. Chiharu enlightened her former teachers. Akikaze had begun his force training and could now lift small objects, but he had never tried lifting anything as large as a person.
It was a little while later when the sun was starting to set that Akikaze awoke. Asuka who was sitting nearby him got up and rushed over.
"Aki! You feeling better?"
"My head hurts a little. I'm ok." Akikaze said as he got up. When he did, Asuka began to move closer before she wrapped her herself around one of Akikaze's arm.
"So why did you save me? You have mind powers right?" As if to show, Akikaze used the force to lift up a couple of leafs off the ground and began to spin them around them.
"Papa says I'm special and I have to uses these powers to help people, especially those I care about." Asuka was enthralled by the leafs moving around them. Seth told Akikaze that these power he was born with were not to be abused. He had to become a hero, which were the word's his father used to convey the message. However, that last bit seemed to strike Asuka.
"You wanted to protect me?" Asuka said sheepishly with a blush on her face.
"Uhh yeah..." "She didn't hit her head? Did she? Did she call me Aki?" Akikaze was confused. If he didn't use the force, Asuka would have been hurt. Of course he would help her. Suddenly Asuka kissed him on the cheek.
"Thank you Aki." Asuka suddenly got up and ran inside the nearby house, leaving a confused Akikaze. However, they were being watched. Chiharu had taken a photo and was sending it to her son. Merek had a small smirk on his face. Sayuri was giddy with delight. Hanzo was frozen with shock.
"Eh?" Akikaze was confused as to what just happened.
The Next Day.
Akikaze had returned to the moon and entered the main living area of the palace. He didn't like how big the palace was. He had gotten lost a few times. Recently this weird girl with blue skin arrived at the palace and began living with them. He tried to be nice and talk to her, but her red eyes just stared at him and without saying anything before she left.
He learned from his dad that her name was Emiri, and she they were taking her into their family. Another big thing for Akikaze was that he became a big brother. He had met Poseidon Fairs not too long ago and was happy to have a little brother, but was sad that he couldn't play with him yet. So he was happy to hear that Peashy was coming here with Neptune to spend a few weeks.
With his daily chores done and his spring break homework finished as well. Akikaze didn't know what to do. Everyone in the house seemed to be really busy and his classmates had begun to become cold towards him. Also he was a prince, but he didn't know what that meant and Uncle Lelouch began giving him lessons in manner, which he hate. He preferred his training with his dad regarding his powers. He wanted to train with the Jedi, but they were really slow compared to him. So he got private lessons from his dad. However, he was a very busy man so most of his current training was mastering the basics.
Right now he was practicing blaster defection with a training droid, a blindfold, and a wooden sword. The child turned on the droid and place the fabric on his eyes. He raised his stick up and asked the droid to start. The small ball began to float around the boy who in response raised his stick and moved to block the incoming blasts. He blocked several hits before one got through and hit his right arm.
Akikaze began to rub the spot where the training bolt hit. It didn't hurt, but it stung a little. After collecting himself, the boy started the training again. As he blocked the hit, they began to come faster and faster. Eventually he couldn't keep up and got hit several times. The fell on the floor and laid there for several moment. Something began to rise up in Akikaze. He was upset. It had been a few days and he couldn't get this current training level. The others had come and gone very quickly and he felt proud of this. But now being unable to move past he felt like he was failing. Even though it normally take a normal youngling weeks to advance.
As his frustration built up he thrusted out with his hand and blast the training droid with a force push. The droid was flung across the courtyard and hit the tree that was planted in the center. It shatter, scattering part all over the ground surrounding the tree.
"Young man, what was the purpose of that action." A voice said behind Akikaze who flinched in response.
"Master Dragon. Ummm... I was angry." Akikaze forgot Cin Drallig name. Master Drallig didn't mind the mix up as he had sense a disturbance nearby.
"So you used the force to unleash your anger."
"...Yes sir..."
"Young prince, you cannot give into your anger with using the force." The Jedi master brought out his phone, which was linked to all matters regarding the Jedi. Including the data collected from the training droids. He brought up Akikaze's data and as he was reading it, his eyes began to open wide with shock. He knew his midichlorian level was very high, but without guidance, it wouldn't amount to much. Yet his training data showed explosive growth. He had only started his training a few months prior, yet he was accelerating far quicker than any normal student. There was only one other case of a student going this fast. He needed to speak to the Emperor about his son's training. He was teaching him too much.
"You're father is training you too quickly. I must speak with him at once."
"Papa is too busy to train me most days. I was just following the droid's instruction." Cin Drallig eyes open with shock.
"You were self-training? And you've advance this far?" Cin Drallig immediately messaged Seth and told him to come to the courtyard immediately. With the fact that his son was involved, Seth wasted no time getting to the courtyard and saw a confused Akikaze and a concerned Jedi master.
"Master Jedi, is there an issue?" Seth said as he arrived cradling his newborn son.
"I believe I discovered something you want to know. Have you been looking at your son's training data."
"No, is he falling behind? I knew I should have made more time for him. God, I'm such a fool!" Seth said with a slight amount of panic. However, he saw the Jedi shaking his head. He brought out his phone and projected a hologram showing his son's growth.
"It looks pretty linear, I'm confused on what the issue is?"
"Your highness, this type of growth is almost unheard of. Here's data from other younglings." Once the data charts were overlapped, Seth saw how huge Akikaze's growth was. He was growing exponentially. Others took at least a year if not more to reach his level of growth. He had done it in the span of a few months.
"I'm concern because we saw the same level of growth from Skywalker."
"You're kidding me." Seth responded in surprise.
"Papa, did I do something wrong?" Akikaze said with a slight quiver in his voice. With his free hand, Seth rubbed Akikaze's head.
"No Aki, you're growing faster than we expected, we just need to learn how to change your training."
"But I got angry and broke the droid."
"We all get angry. That's normal, but you can't hurt others. Next time you get upset, stop what you're doing, close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Then think about what you'll do next." Seth turned his head towards Cin Drallig.
"I'll talk with Serra about this. I think it may be time for Aki to train with the order. He needs guidance, and I'm becoming more and more busy."
"I've been expecting that for a while. I think we failed Skywalker, because we tried to keep him at the same level as the others in his clan. This time, I think we'll change that, if he joins. I'll discuss the matter with Serra as well."
Six days later.
Yesterday was the last day for the rest of the IS Academy. A majority of students were packing up to return to their homelands while the academy underwent its upgrades. As the students were boarding the train to head off the island, several Star Destroyers of the Venator Class and the newly completed Victory Class arrived. They were joined by two mobile suit carrier ships breaching the water. Seeing the massive ships arrived at the school was an awe inspiring sight. Nearby the cost of mainland Japan a crowd gather watching the kilometer long ships hovering near the island. Soon the massive ships began to unload their cargo and several yellow color mobile suits landed.
Meanwhile all the teachers were waiting near a clearing of the academy. There was fifth-teen in total. Chifuyu, Maya, Natasha, for class one. Iris had join since she was a lead in the security of the academy, before the reforms were place. Edwards Franchee, teacher of class two of the first years and next to her was Emmely Olsson a former Swedish representative and homeroom teacher of class three of the first years. Over a bit sitting on her suitcase was the tanned brunette Fernanda Sieres homeroom teacher of class four of the first years.
Standing up and on her phone was the blonde beauty Tatiana Kozlov homeroom teacher of class one of the second years. Looking at the Russian teacher, was a black hair woman with a slightly dark skin tone by the name of Caaren Roberts, a woman of mix races and a former Representative candidate for South Africa. She was the homeroom teacher of class two of the second years. Next to her was a woman of middle eastern descent. Zania Hamed was the homeroom teacher of class three of the second years. Finishing the teachers of the second years was Sophie wenham, former pilot for Australia and homeroom teacher of class four.
Over in a corner by themselves, was the four teachers of the third year. Marietta Raczkiewicz was the teacher of homeroom one of the third years and was a former representative of Poland. Next to her was the homeroom teacher of class two for the third years Rusli Suyin. Former test pilot for Indonesia. For class three homeroom teacher was Tokko Sun-Hi the current representative of South Korea. Lastly was Jooske Geels, a Dutch representative pilot and the homeroom teach of class four of the third year students.
Soon they saw a [Theta] class shuttle arrive near them and it soon landed. As the ramp lowered two Royal guards stepped down followed by the Emperor behind them. Seth was dressed in his grey robes, but the ladies noticed he was now wearing a black collar around his neck.
"Ladies, I hope I didn't keep you waiting too long. Come aboard." Seth said as he allowed the teachers to step aboard his ship.
The women got on the shuttle and it took off. It arrived in orbit above Earth where it was met by the [Nobunaga], [Brunhilda] and the several other ships that made their battle group. The teachers were wondering why they were just stopped and many were surprised that they were in orbit. Before they could say anything, the [Nobunaga] seemed to vanished. Followed by the new victory class ship. Then the shuttle's hyperdrive activated. The ship entered the blue tunnel of hyperspace. Not too long later, the ships exited hyperspace and arrived above a unfamiliar planet. Seth saw the look of awe on the teachers' faces.
"Ladies as the Emperor of the Eternal Empire, allow me to welcome you to its home world. Welcome to Reach. This will be your home for the next few weeks."
A few of the teacher's mouths were left wide open. Maya, even with her advance knowledge was still shocked. Soon the other ships arrived and they made their way towards a massive station orbiting the planet. As soon as it landed they were greeted by several B1 battle droids and a super tactical battle droid.
"Welcome to Reach defense platform one. Please hand your luggage to the droids, so we may begin the medical exam."
"Medical exam?" Natasha asked.
"Your training with the IS academy legion will take place on the surface of Reach. As such we need to give you a few vaccines. We have not found any alien bacteria or viruses that could infect humans, but on the off we do hand these vaccines and pseudo bacteriophages should increases your chances of survival. There is also an injection of nanomachines to monitor your vitals and assist your piloting, however, this is completely optional, but I highly recommend it." Seth explained.
"Also if any of you are pregnant, please inform the medical staff. We are not certain what may happen. Other than that and you don't have an allergic reaction, we should be on the surface tomorrow. I'll meet you ladies at the mess hall." Seth said as he left the teacher be. With Seth out of the room, the droid led the women to the medical wing of the orbital station. They began to talk among themselves.
"This is surreal. Are we really out of the solar system." Franchee Edwards said what was on most of the women's minds.
"Hey, Chifuyu? Did you know about any of this?" Tatiana Kozlov asked.
"I didn't." Chifuyu lied. Seth had been keeping her well informed, but it was less trouble if she said otherwise.
The fifth-teen women entered the medical section of the station and were asked to change into medical gowns so that the staff could begin their examination. After getting a clean bill of health and given sets of sterile clothing in order to prevent earth bacterium from interacting with Reach's natural floral and possibly cross breeding. Though this was bound to happen eventually. The women were led into the mess hall where they saw Tatenashi, Kanzashi, and Seth eating a meal. Inside the mess hall there was a few other people eating. Mostly technician and the medical staff members. The station was operated by machines.
"Ah, Sensei!" Tatenashi said as she got up and met up with Tatiana Kozlov. The teacher during Tatenashi's first year helped come in contact with the Russian government and the company that made [Mysterious Lady].
"Sarashiki? What are you doing?" Tatiana asked the bluenette.
"So you knew about this whole 'thing'?" She didn't really know what to make of this situation.
"We're here for training as well." So much advance technology she had a hard time processes this whole experience. Honestly she was wondering if she was dreaming and soon she would wake up in her bed at the academy. As did the other teachers. They made their way towards the serving droids and got food. Once everyone had sat down, a hologram appeared. Seth stood up and went over the upcoming few weeks.
A few hours later.
The teachers were led to their rooms on the station and were sitting around in the commons area, The exact location of Reach was hidden to them so they had no clue how far away they were. Outside the window they saw the planet below them and they could see another station not too far out with several wedge shape objects under construction. The Reach orbital shipyards had been active for a bit. They were a minor yard compared to the expanded one on the moon, but there was no eyes out here.
The ones who were watching the shipyard, saw the [Nobunaga] approached the shipyard and was guided by tug ships. Then they saw a swarm of small construction droids surround the ship as it underwent an upgrade. It was at this moment that they heard a knocking on the door. Marietta answered the panel near her and the one next to the door was Tatenashi.
"Hey! Can I come in?" The blue hair girl asked. Marietta let her in the room and took a seat near several teachers who were sitting there.
"I swear there's nothing fun to do here." Tatenashi said as she began to get comfy.
"How long have you been here Sarashiki?" Emmely, who was closest to the student asked.
"We got here yesterday. My sister and I were getting fitted for a new IS. But the moment we got here, Seth stole my poor little sister from me. I swear that man is addicted to training with that laser sword." Tatenashi tried to be flirty with Seth, but he didn't reciprocate nor become flustered. It bugged her, and when he sensed this, he apologized, saying he had a lot on his mind at the moment and the newborn was draining him mentally.
"Where is your sister by the way?" Maya asked.
"Oh here, can I have the remote?" Tatenashi extended her arm out and Emmely handed her the tablet on the table. She pressed a few button on the screen before the massive monitor in the room began to show a live feed from one of the exercise room on the station. They has the two people in question engaging in a duel, but it was very clear that Seth was training Kanzashi and was not giving his all.
"Your grip it too tight again. No, its too loose now." Seth said as he was easily swinging his purple blade, but unlike the other times it was ignited, it had a very dull glow. It was in its practice mode, allow it to be safe to be used in training. Kanzashi was dressed in tan robes and was breathing heavily. She was wielding a training saber with a blue blade.
"You are standing wrong." To show Kanzashi how vital the proper stance was, he grabbed her right elbow and with very little force caused her to fall on the floor.
"Not yet!" Kanzashi said with a passion that surprised the women watching. However, she did something that caused Seth to sigh. She realized what she did. An invisible force lifted her off the ground and pinned her on the ceiling.
"I told you never to let your barrier down. That could get you killed." Seth said looked up at the blue hair girl pinned on the ceiling.
"Wanna take a break?" Seth asked and Kanzashi nodded. He released Kanzashi who yelped as she fell on the floor.
"Hey!"
"Let that be a reminder not to lower your barrier. I know it very unlikely you'll fight another force user seriously, but I don't want to risk it." Seth said as he held his hand out. Kanzashi took it and got back up.
"Seth, what are your plans for the night?" The young teen asked with a slight amount of sultry in her tone. Ever since her training began, Kanzashi started becoming far more confident and would start flirting with Seth. So far it was nothing too extreme, but she was becoming more bold by the day. Hell the fact she was hitting on a married man was definitely bold.
"Work. I swear my paperwork regenerates faster than I can." Seth said with a defeated look on his face, which surprised Kanzashi a bit.
A few Days later.
The [Nobunaga] returned to earth after receive its new quintuple barrel turbolaser batteries that replaced the former double barreled batteries. Giving it now 40 main canons compared to the former 16. The warship was station above Europe, in the event something went wrong. Seth had just finished his hair combing it back and putting on a black suit. He boarded his shuttle and it began its descent toward France.
At Charles de Gaulle airport.
Charlotte was summoned by her government for a special assignment. She was to be Seth's escort for his stay in France. She along with the French president and several key members of the government were waiting on the runway for the Emperor's shuttle. After landing, they would sign the treaty as heads of states. This was going to be followed by Seth delivering a speech to the French parliament and a few European Union representatives who were present. Afterwards there would be a press conference and a social gathering to celebrate their new alliance.
"Young Charlotte, I understand that you have a history with the Emperor?" The older brunette Jeannette Delaplace, current French president asked the blonde teen.
"Yes Ma'am. We know each other."
"Tell me then, can he be trusted."
"Madam president..." Charlotte had to think for several seconds. He kept so many secrets from everyone while pretending to be a normal student.
"I would trust him with my life." Charlotte responded. He may lie, or hide things, but he seemed to protect those around him before himself. If anything she wanted Seth to be more open with her, but see was coming to terms with why he couldn't. A few months earlier she would have taken Seth to a mental hospital if he told her everything she knew now.
At this time the shuttle came view and landed near the welcoming group. As it landed and open its docking ramp, Seth stepped out. Just him. No one else was next to him as she got off the shuttle. Charlotte looked at Seth and their eyes met. A smirk appeared on the Emperor's face as he was led into a black luxurious car.

Author Note: Hey guys, So this was just a chapter setting the stage for the second year which will be explored before the time skip. I know it was lacking in action, but next chapter should be action pack so I'm hoping to make for it, but finals are soon so I may be a bit. Speaking of which to address a few questions, the time skip isn't for a couple dozen chapters. My plan is to be around chapter 110 or 120. Anyway I started planning the timeline and hopefully next chapter comes a little quicker.
