A Total Drama Story

Total Drama World Tour and I

The Chopping Block

Chapter 16

~Last Time on Total Drama World Tour~

The stars at night are big and bright~! (clap, clap, clap, clap) Deep in the heart of Texas! That's right, the teens were out in Glen Rose, Texas. A famous park for all ages to visit and engage in learning activities. For the teens, they had to build their own dinosaur models out of arts and crafts and several other materials they could dig up on site. Some models were better then others but what was the highlight of the day was when guest judge Doof...uh...Doofensmurf? Doofinsmirk? Doof-something, claimed the Platypus' dinosaur model bared a striking resemblance to his arch-enemy. As if! (laughing) Anyway, no one was voted off but the next challenge won't be easy. Everyone is on the chopping block. Who will be next to say goodbye to the million at play? Find out on Total. Drama. World Tour!

~Cue Theme Song followed by the plane in the skies~

How does one know if a bad omen is coming. There are several ways to predict such a thing but let's name the simple ones. Breaking a mirror, several kinds of numbers depending on the culture, tipping a salt shaker over, a black cat crossing one's pass, and so on and so on. No need to go deep in details. The point is a bad omen would befall on the teens upon reaching their next destination. Not all of them. One team in particular would be hit with a tidal wave of bad omens. Won't give away too many details. Just know things are going to take an ugly turn. (Dun, Dun, Dun!)

Moving on, up above in the sky the large plane carrying the Total Drama teens was heading for its next destination. There was no telling where the teens would end up this time. India, Australia, Finland, a swamp. (shrug) Only the captain and co-pilot knew where they were going. Assuming they weren't reading the map the wrong way. Sad to say Chef was having a hard time reading the map. He had the plane on auto pilot while he tried to read the map. He held it out using his hands to stretch and make it big. Observing the outline and landmarks. Trying to make heads or tails of the confound thing. Scratching his head Chef laid the map down on the controls in the hopes that he could understand the map better. That was a mistake.

Meanwhile, each team group was gathered together in different areas on the plane. Two groups were in the same area while one was in another. The spots and teams in said spots were Platypus' in First Class, leaving the other two teams, Musical Strikers and Radical Sports down in Coach. All the teens were sitting around chatting with one another or doing their own thing. Be it reading a book, listening to music, or plotting an evil plan. (eyebrow wiggle) You know who I'm talking about but we'll talk about that later. In the meantime the Platypus gang was talking about their latest victory in the dinosaur challenge.

"I still can't believe we won the challenge." Said Cody focusing his attention on one of his Pokemon games. "Who'd of thought we would win thanks to that pharmacist guy."

"I still think that guy was a wacko." Said Heather. "Can you believe that nonsense he was going on about a platypus being his arch nemesis? You'd have to be a total loser to come up with something as pathetic as that."

"Come on Heather there's no need to be that harsh on the guy." Said Becky. "He may have been a tad crazy but you don't have to go and call him a loser."

"Yeah Becky's right, give the guy a break Heather." Cody said still focusing on his game.

"Oh shut up Cody." Said Heather, rolling her eyes.

"I wonder where we're going now." Said Gwen looking out a window.

Sierra, who was typing away on her computer when she spoke. "According to my fan base there's an eighty four percent chance we're going to Alaska."

"Alaska? Seriously? Why would Chris bring us there? Obviously your fan base is messed up." Heather told Sierra. "There's no way we're going to freeze in the cold tundra again. If we end up going somewhere where my hair gets iced."

"Well there are other places the fans voted on." Sierra pointed out. "There are places like Italy and England and Scotland and oh, oh! I've got Thailand down as a choice for the fans to pick. What do you think about that?"

"I think you've been drinking too much soda and now its affecting your brain." Heather replied.

Yep, that's how things were going on the Platypus' end. As usual as business can be between their small party. At least until the unexpected happened. The plane began to shake from what should have been turbulence turned out to be the beginning of something else. At first nobody was too concerned. Turbulence comes and goes but when it continues to advance that's when the worry comes in. Course things get worse when the plane begins to dip down without warning and not everyone is wearing their seatbelts. That's certainly a cause for alarm.

With the sudden dive the teens who were unbuckled tried to hold onto anything they could get their hands on. The sound of screams filled the air. Both of the panic and surprise variety. While everyone was trying to hang on, the plane started going back up. Those who were hanging on for dear life loosened their grip(s) on whatever they were holding onto. The plane seemed to be back on track, or so they thought. Just as everyone was calming down and their hearts were settling down, the plane turned to the right. What I mean is the plane took a deep right turn causing the non-seatbelt teens to go flying and smashing up against the wall.

Before the panic meter shot up higher than before, Chris' voice came through the loud speaker.

"Attention everyone, brace yourselves for unexpected plane maneuvers!"

Well that was easier said then done. Anyone not wearing a seatbelt was struggling to get to safety. Course not everyone could move due to an unexpected turn and crash. How can anyone move to safety when they can't move? Even if anyone could move how would they reach the cockpit? There was nothing anyone could do until someone got control of the plane. Assuming Chris would take over for Chef. Who was clearly messing around with the controls.

The only hope anybody had for survival was in the hands of two people no one liked that much. I'm not saying the pair was hated but they weren't anyone's favorite people. Considering everything the teens had gone through who wouldn't feel displeasure around Chef and Chris? Now that the plane was flying lopsided no one knew what to think. Apart from surviving till they landed. Assuming the plane would be able to land at the rate it was going. Its a good thing Owen wasn't around or he'd be in a panic, screaming about wanting to get off.

Speaking of wanting off, the plane seemed to be tilting further to the right. Giving it a feel that it was about to turn upside down. Those who were not buckled in a seat were in a state of panic. A few were cursing a loud. Wondering what was going through Chef's mind while he did this to them. Would they even survive? Was God getting a good laugh out of this? Why were they doing this? What was the point of winning money if there was a possibility of almost dying several times a day?

Apologies for blabbering but the teens had all these thoughts and then some racing through their heads while trying to stay in one piece on a death trap called a plane. I will say this, when hope seemed lost and things were looking grim a miracle occurred. Not really but that did sound good to write down. No, what happened was the plane regained its proper position. Allowing everyone to settle down from the heart racing tension and regain proper posture on their own two feet. Once the plane was flying straight again was when everyone took a breather. Releasing any breathes they apparently held in during the unexpected flight. After a long moment of silence, Geoff spoke breaking the silence.

"Okay...that was a little more excitement then I'm use to." He said a loud with a hand to his heart. "Is everyone okay after that wild ride?"

"I think we're all alright Geoff, and your right, that was way more excitement then necessary." Bridgette replied.

"Aw man what happened?" Asked Trent rubbing his head.

"I think Chef may have lost it back there." Duncan replied.

"Man that was some ride." Said DJ rubbing his arms to calm his nerves.

Everyone tried to relax and forget about the plane ride. The plane should be reaching an airport soon and everyone would be able to leave the plane for a couple hours. Hopefully forgetting all about terror time. Okay that might be a tad childish but its true. Who wouldn't think of an experience similar to that in real life a true terror? In fact, it wouldn't be surprising if this was engraved in everyone's memories forever. Questions about getting therapy were up to the teens and any parents watching the show at the moment.

Eventually, the plane reached its destination; everyone rejoiced over the fact that they were on solid ground. The fact that they were alive was more than enough of a reason to rejoice. As much as the teens wanted to celebrate, Chris called everyone to attention with the use of a megaphone.

"Hey! I know you're all glad to be off the plane and on the ground but keep in mind we're on a time schedule here people!"

Any louder on the megaphone and he could have blown out everyone's eardrums. Did he need the megaphone in the first place? Probably not but this is Chris we're talking about. He's all about going big or going home. In his case its all about going big and he proved his point by speaking through the megaphone some more.

"Now listen up! I want everyone to line up and follow me! We'll be taking a little detour before heading to where the challenge will be! Come on everyone we don't have all day! Well we do but I doubt you guys want to be here all day!"

Without another word everyone lined up. Similar to how kindergarteners would line up for recess. Chris lead the teens to their surprise destination towards an unknown location. Little did they know that once they stepped off that plane would the real trouble begin. If they thought that plane ride was horrible they were going to hate the challenge even more. Only thing I can give away is Chris will be eliminating more than one person from the competition. No ifs, ands, or buts.

The teens were escorted outside onto a large tour bus. The windows were blacked on all sides so nobody could see where they were going. All anyone could do was take a seat and try to enjoy the ride. Most of the teens sat next to their boyfriend or girlfriend while others sat with their friends. Casual chit chat was shared among the teens talking about topics like shopping and school and what they'd do if they won the million.

"if I win the million I'm going to buy my mama a trip on a cruise. She works so hard, she deserves some rest and relaxation." DJ was telling his friends.

"Aw DJ that's real sweet of you." Said Bridgette admiring DJ's generosity and kindness.

"I like your style DJ." Said Geoff jumping into the conversation. "I was thinking of throwing the biggest loudest party on the planet if I won."

"That does sound like something you would do Geoff." Bridgette told her boyfriend.

"Those are some great ideas guys." Said Becky. "Duncan, what would you do if you won the money?"

"Well Smiley I've been giving a lot of thought to this. If I won the million I think I'm gonna put half away for myself and give the other half to my folks. Figured I owe them for all my juvenile crimes and being a pain in the ass most of the time." Duncan replied.

~Duncan's Confession~

"Yeah I know I've never been much of a prodigy or a perfect kid to my folks; and yeah Ii know, I've made their life a living Hell but I'm trying to makeup for all that. I'm not saying I'm going to turn full on good but I'm not giving up my bad boy attitude either. I'm just trying to meet in the middle. That's a spot everyone can agree on."

~Confession Over~

"You are such a good guy Duncan." Becky gave him a kiss on the cheek making the bad boy blush a tad. When it came to his girlfriend, the boy was putty in her hands.

"Well that's all fine and dandy but when I win the million I'm going to spend it on me." Said Heather. "I want to treat myself to a getaway spa trip for a week with all the works."

"Good on you." Gwen replied with little interest.

"If I win the money I'm going to get the latest computer equipment so I can make my blogs twice as popular." Said an excited Sierra. "Oh I could start a YouTube channel! I'll post videos on the Total Drama world. I'll get tones on views. (squeals)"

"That's a great idea Sierra and if I win the million I'll help get you your equipment." Cody told her making Sierra's eyes light up as a huge smile grew on her face. If the smile were any longer it would resemble the Cheshire Cat's own smile.

Releasing a squeal of excitement, Sierra jumped towards Cody who was sitting opposite from her and gave him the biggest bear hug ever.

~Sierra's Confession~

"Cody is the absolute best! He's sweet, he's compassionate, he's smart, and he's just the best! I know I said best twice but its only because Cody is the best and I hope he wins the million. Go Cody!"

~Confession Over~

While Sierra was hugging Cody in a tight embrace, the girl's giggled at the pair. Commenting on them being a cute couple which caused Cody to blush upon hearing that. Sierra blushed and giggled, thanking the girl's for their kindness while still keeping a strong hold on Cody. Who was beginning to struggle for air. Had Bridgette not pointed out Cody turning blue, Sierra never would have released her grip on him.

~Cody's Confession~

(stretching his body, cracking his back straight) "How is Sierra so strong? Does she lift weights or something? She may be stronger than Eva. ...Uh she can't see this confession right? (nervous) This is a private confession, right?"

~Confession Over~

The bus ride continued for almost an hour down the road. Making various turns and stops until it began to slow down though just where remains to be known. Nobody knows where they are or what today's challenge will be. Hell, nobody knew what country they were in. Chris had been keeping them in the dark since the plane landed. There had been several guesses during the bus ride about where they might have landed and what today's challenge could be but that was it. That's all anyone could do, make guesses. Its all anyone could do when on a journey to an unknown destination.

When the bus came to a complete stop, Chris stood up to address everyone.

"Attention teams! Before we depart from the bus I have an important announcement!" He said a loud. "I was going to save this till later to tell you guys but I may as well tell you now to make you work harder during the challenge."

"Whatever it is you wanna tell us Chris is can't be that bad." Said Heather rolling her eyes.

"Oh the contrary Heather, if you think a double elimination isn't bad then you must be pretty confident in yourself." Said Chris gaining Heather's attention. Gaining everyone's attention. "That's right people, whichever teams loses this next challenge will have to vote two people off their team."

"Hold on I thought you said this was a double elimination?" Leshawna asked. "What's this about voting two people off the two losing teams?"

"Hey take it up with the producers. Apparently I've been giving away too many freebees after each challenge. We've had too many rewards and not enough vote offs. Now I need to start sending people home or else its my job." Chris explained.

Double Elimination?

Aw man what's to become of the teens and what will the challenge be that they'll have to push themselves to stay in the competition?
