Spider man drops down from the wall and lands in front of the entrance. He meets up with Shane and Freya who is glaring at a JTF soldier pulling out some sort of remote from his pocket. He quickly spots explosive charges planted on the door. Shane walks up to the wall crawler and moves him back away from what Spidey quickly notices is a debate between former co-workers.

"Come on, Freya." Cade says. "The Rioters are a joke, and I did you agents a favor by coming up with a lovely plan of completing your mission.

"Blowing up doors isn't a plan." Freya scoffs.

"You're right, more like a brilliant idea." Cade counters before rising his shoulders to shrug. "Those idiots won't believe it be JTF coming in once they hear the gates crumble so easily.

"I hate to admit it." Spider-man mutters to Shane. "He's got a point. It's the fastest way into the stadium."

"I agree." Shane acknowledges with a nod. "But Oliver told me he left his post at base."

"Oh…" Spider-man sighs. "He set up the charges up himself. We may as well let him blow it up."

"And it be more fun that way."

Spider-man steps in and stops the debate. It needs to end so he and the division agents can push through how many rioters are holed up in there. Sure, there wasn't a point to go that extreme, but Cade seems to be onto something. He speaks in a calm manner.

"Cade may have a point." Spidey. "It'll be fast for you two to get in and reach for the hostages."

"And we get to go in with a spectacular entrance." Cade adds with a sly smirk.

"But the rioters could kill the doctors if they hear it go off." Freya points out.

"Freya isn't wrong on that, cowboy." Spider-man replies. His eyes set to the JTF soldier. "You sound very confident that these looters aren't going to shoot the hostages once they know people are coming."

"Hey, web-head." Cade cuts in. "The rioters don't know what they'll be dealing with. Blowing the doors won't make a difference besides making things interesting."

"As much I'm excited for you to blow open the door for us, I'm not all in for rushing in blind and blast away." Shane looks up the stadium walls. "Our job is to make sure the hostages are moved out of the garden and secured in the post office. Spidey, will you mind telling us where they're keeping the hostages? We'll cause a distraction in the meantime."

"Sure." Spider-man nods. "Figured I let you guys handle them."

"This is just amazing!" The JTF corporal cheers. He motions the group to stand behind him. "So… agents of the division, this is important. The JTF needs to show those street chumps we aren't a complete joke anymore, that they don't run this part of town anymore. It's time for them to meet the new sheriffs, that's you agents, who will show Spider-man isn't the only one cleaning up the city. If we're lucky, they'll turn around to run and save you guys the bullets. Starting with a bit of shock and awe…"

Finally, Cade slams his thumb down on the trigger. The doors shatter as it makes a deafening sound. As the dust clears, Cade pulls out his revolver from the holster. He spins around and notices the agents fell silent, unmoved by his little speech.

"Nice job prepping the crowd." Freya smirks a little. "So inspiring."

"Oh, and there's probably some nice guns and stuff for you to take." Cade says quickly. Shane grins and claps a little while Freya rolls her eyes a little. The crowd is motivated. Cade points to the hole leading into the stadium. "Now let's go rescue those doctors!"

"CADE! You better come back!" The radio on his right shoulder growls. It had the sting of authority from Officer Jefferson Davis. "Return to the post office or I'll have agent Borovic drag your ass back."

"You better do what he says." Shane says. "You don't want to get Oliver out here."

"Alright." He curses to himself. "I wish I could hear those hoodlums act all gangster now. Go in and do your stuff agents. Spider-man, help make them look good."

"Will do." Spider-man chuckles quietly. "Cade is definitely not what I expect for a soldier in the JTF to be, a wild card. I Wonder how Freya puts up with his BS for so long."

Cade is about to head back to base. However, he stops and grabs Freya for one last minute prep talk. He moves close to Freya's ear. "And Freya… will you let me know if you're given any other… assignments? Please… take me with you. Take… me… with you. I hate my guard duty in the post office."

Finally, Cade leaves as Freya laughs gently. Shane quietly pulls out a FAL assault rifle as Freya follows suit. Spider-man crawls up the wall until he finds a window that gives him a good view of the ground floor. His mask patches into ISAC's coms.

"So far so good…" Spider-man notices a small team of looters carrying pistols walking down the steps leading to elevators. "Heads up, there's a group coming your way."

"We'll take care of them quickly." Shane says. "You sure you don't want to drop in?"

"Thanks, but no thanks." Spider-man's starts climbing up on the building. "I need to find the hostages first."

Faye Lau joins in on the conversation from her station back on base. "Spider-man is right. We can work out on what we do from there. Once you find them, you can help our agents get to the medical staff, especially Jessica Kandel. She used to run the field hospital in the garden and getting her out along with the rest of her people is a top priority"

"Copy that."

Spider-man climbs up and around the stadium. He can hear gunshots and explosions coming from the first floor, presumably the Division agents doing their thing to clean the place up of hostiles. As he gets to the second floor, he knows focuses on finding something that can get him inside. Anything will do.

He climbs up to the roof to find a squad of rioters and leaps on top of an air conditioning unit for a better look. A heavy machine gunner starts shouting at his squad before pointing to the door.

"We got JTF in the building!" The heavy gunner shouts. "Move your ass into Kobe's and get everyone else into the court area."

"Come on, they're JTF." A rioter protests. "Let the guys inside the courtyard move in and take him."

"Just get inside, damn it!"

The rioters packed up their gear and move into a service elevator. Spider-man gets on his coms through ISAC to patch with Shane and Freya.

"I found a way inside." He reports. "And the rioters are moving into the courtyard, probably setting up defenses for you.

"Alright." Freya sighs on her coms. "Shane and I are just about there. Go and see what we are dealing with."

"Sounds good." Spider-man replies.

Spider-man opens a door leading to a catwalk suspended above the basketball court and the club section with a Koby's restaurant. He vaults over a railing and scales down with his webbing and hangs upside down. He can see the hostages huddling by the seats at Koby's. He could drop in and grab them, but there's rioters nearby. He won't be fast enough to scoop them up without the looters noticing… unless there's a distraction,

One man carrying a large machine gun whistles to his pack of rioters. Everyone stops what they're doing and set their attention of the leader who seems to go by a street name, Hutch. Hutch slugs his weapon over his shoulder and starts with a shout.

"Listen up, fruitcakes. We got trouble coming. I want everyone ready."

"For JTF moving inside?" One of them asks. "We got nothing to worry about."

"Wrong! They have spider-man helping them. He could be out there climbing to the roof or sneaking inside. He could be inside this room."

"Wish I could tell him how right he is." Spider-man thinks to himself. "But that could make the looters harm the hostages."

"The plan is simple. Kill the JTF soldiers Spidey is helping kick our asses before we take that bug down!" The leader of the garden takeover states. "Then, we will use what we have to kill him."

"I like that idea." One speaks.

"Can't wait to kill a spider." Another replies.

Then, Spider-man gets an announcement from Shane.

"We are in position."

Freya cocks her assaultrifle as Shane uses a pulse to scan the entire court room. ISAC reports the number of rioters and indicated Spiderman is hanging above where the hostages are held. He then taps his fellow teammate's shoulder

"Ready, Freya?"

"Ready." Freya says as she pulls out a seeker mine. "Dropping a seeker."

Shane pulls out a sniper rifle and puts the crosshair on a backpack a rioter guarding Kobeys. His backpack is stuffed with explosives. The sharpshooter gulps a breath and keeps his rifle still as Freya drops the seeker. The mine starts rolling to a group of enemies.

"Engaging hostiles." Shane says as he pulls the trigger.

The seeker mine rolls up explodes, taking the group with it. Spider-man begins to drop as he hears another loud explosion. A rioter on the bleachers in front of Kobey's explodes and is flung off to the side. He lands on his feet as three rioters run in to check up on the hostages. They all pull out their bats.

"It's three versus one. This should be easy" One sneers.

"Fuck it!" another one growls. "Let's beat him down. Hope he's got something good on him."

The three rioters run toward the wall crawler with bats raised over their heads.

Freya sprints into the courtyard and sprays her assault rifle. Shane picks off rioters on the bleachers with his sniper rifle. Then, he notices a rioter launched into the air before being webbed up on the ceiling at Kobey's. The heavy gunner starts firing down into the courtyard, forcing Freya to duck behind a medical bed. Shane gulps a breath and fires. The shot misses, making the leader duck down a curse.

"Really? Just two people?" He shouts to himself. "I'll make this quick, losers!"

Hutch continues spraying bullets down the court. Shane is grazed by some rounds and hunkers behind cover. Freya quickly throws a box near Shane. The box hums and creates a giant green circle around it. Shane scoots inside the healing zone, letting the support station heal his injuries. He injects himself with first aid to increase the stopping power of his sniper rifle while reducing the severity of any future injuries.

Shane uses his pulse to scan the area for any stragglers before he continues to pick them off one shot at a time as Freya drops another seeker mine.

Spider-man webs up the remaining rioters before checking on the action the ground floor. Shane and Freya have deployed special equipment that rival Spider-man's tech.

"Spidey, I see you have the Kobey's resturant locked down. Freya says. "Protect those doctors with your life."

"You don't have to tell me twice." Spider-man replies back. "Shane and Freya are… taking care of the hostiles as we speak."

"Oh, I see them on the security feed. Mind helping them?"

Spider-man looks down again. In one hand, the two have got the court under control with the constant barrage of gun fire and seeker mines. In the other, a heavily armored rioter that ISAC identified as Hutch was giving the agents trouble, even though many of his goons have fallen.

He didn't want to be an over controlling parent around these agents. From what he's seen so far, they're well trained and equipped with the most sophisticated tech he's seen. While they are doing well on their own, it couldn't help to join in and help speed it up. Another round of gunfire came from the machine gunner and his cronies on the bleachers.

"Who are those people with their fancy toys?!" Hutch yells to himself as he sprays down bullets.

"Yeah, I agree. I could use one of those."

As he snaps his head, his two soldiers standing by him have been webbed up. Spider-man prepares to leap down to deal with him. Hutch pulls out a grenade and pulls the pin. Spider-man freezes as the leader tosses one up high. ISAC scanned the area and calculated the planned trajectory of the grenade. The AI projected the grenade will be thrown up to Kobey's. The thought sickened him. This rioter wouldn't dare…

"Go fetch this, freak!" Hutch shouts.

Of course, he is! Spider-man leaps up as the grenade sails high, screaming for the seating area. The grenade could kill the entire staff if he doesn't do something. He uses his webs to swat it out of the air and stick it to a wall. Spider-man slabs one web after another to soften the explosion. Then, there's a thump.

A gunshot rings out. Spider-man looks back down to find Hutch shot down by Shane before he could flee the stadium. Shane hurries and takes a sub machine gun from one of the bodies. Freya sets the support station to self-destruct.

"Man, that was messed up of him." Shane looks up. "Nice save, Spiderman."

"Yeah. I honestly couldn't take on that many armed thugs at once."

"Let's go meet the doctors." Freya says and tugs Shane into an elevator

The two agents run out of the court for an elevator ride up to the club restaurant floor. The elevator lets out a ding and opens the door to release the two agents. Shane and Freya scan the room before one holds up a fist, signaling an all clear. A woman with brown hair stands up and lowers her hands. ISAC scans her and confirms Jessica Kandel is standing in front of Spider-man.

"Doctor Kandel, I presume." Spider-man asks.

"That would be me." Jessica says. "You got them all, I assume."

"Yes Ma'am." Shane says. "We're getting you and the staff out to the JTF base."

"Good. Thank you, Spidey, and…"

"Agents Shane and Freya." Spider-man answers quickly.

"There's a JTF squad outside waiting to take you back." Freya says. "Stay safe.

Kandel gestures her staff to follow her out of the door. Spidey, Shane, and Freya begin walking out of the stadium shortly after. There's an incoming transmission.

"We're off to a good start, even after the close call." Faye says. "I wish I would have your backs out there, but we make a good team. Head over to see what Kandel has to say once we get them over to base."

The transmission ends. The two agents and wall crawler reach the exit to the stadium. Freya holds her head and groans.

"Ok, that was a lot of looters to handle. I'm heading back to get some shut eye." Freya yawned.

"I'm going to swing by and see what that doctor has to say." Spider-man says. "You worry about Cade, Freya. Is he ok?"

"He became a different person when this all started. I'll go in with you to see what she has to say." She says before leaving. "I'm sure Oxton will be relieved he doesn't have to treat people all by himself anymore."

"Funny, it looked like he didn't mind." Spider-man mutters before following her out.

"ISAC is alerting me the JTF is taking on some rioters down at 34th street." Shane says running off. "I'll see you all later."

"I'll have ISAC do that for me." Peter notes to himself. "I'm sure the JTF can use my help."

"You ready to go back Spider-man?" Freya asks. "There are people there that want to see you."

Spider-man blushes under his mask. "Sure. Let's go."

-Oliver Borkovic-

Near the Lincoln Tunnel checkpoint,a squad of JTF soldiers, including a few members from Misfit Squad, enter the Lincoln tunnel and leave a trail of Rioters behind them. Division agent Oliver takes the lead and deploys his shield.

"Captain, we have cleared the threat and are moving in to meet you."

"That's good news, but we still got plenty of bad. Some of those bastards have gotten through and are planting explosives on the floodgates. They're trying to get out come hell or high water. If the bombs go off, you know which one we'll get."

"Don't worry, Captain." Oliver says. "We're at the tunnel. I can handle a bomb."

Oliver gestures to his squad mates to hurry with him through the Two JTF soldiers move up from walkway on the right and shoot the rioters down. Oliver emerges from cover and gives an all-clear signal. The former SWAT captain hurries ahead and gets to the bomb.

"Cover me while I get this defused." Oliver commands.

The JTF squad form a perimeter around Oliver as he defuses the bomb. So far, not a single Rioter enters the scene to stop them. One snaps his head towards Oliver.

"I heard Spider-man is back out there." He says quickly before checking the outside again. "You want to call him in?"

Oliver thinks for a moment. "Maybe. We have done well on our own so far. Let's make this our victory."

"That's true, Captain." JTF soldier Ambrose shoots. "You wish you were back with the peeps as captain of Phalanx squad?"

"I wish I was." Oliver laughs a little. "But being a federal agent suits me."

A/N: INCOMING TRANSMISSION

Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen. What a better way to announce an end of a hiatus than to update a chapter that has been long worth waiting for. I've got my reasons from school, personal health, to work with this nagging voice that the chapter isn't good enough. Hopefully it is because I had to rewrite this several times.

Anyways, I'm excited for the new spider-man movie; No Way Home and seeing the trailers has given me the right motivation to continue this story. Let's hope it comes out great and all.

The following characters belong to the following wonderful people.
