Chapter 19: Pinocchio Part 5
"We're almost there!" Chilli said as she and her husband was rowing their boat. "I think it's going to start raining Chilli! Bandit shouted as they continued. "We have to try and reach him!" Chilli said while trying to move the boat faster. "Ahoy!" Geppetto called out to Bandit and Chilli. "Geppetto! We need to get back to shore!" Chilli shouted to him as the waves started to get rough. "Oh? How come?" Geppetto asked as the wind started to pick up. Bandit then looked in the water and saw something was coming close to them.
"Chilli, I think we may need a bigger boat..." he said, looking down and seeing the dark shape in the turbulent water.
Chilli followed his gaze and saw the creature heading quickly toward Geppetto's boat. "Gepetto, you need to come over here!" She called ."Why? My son Pinocchio is on an island, I need to find him!" The elderly, impoverished wood carver called back in reply. "He's might be in danger!" "Who told him he was on an island?" Bandit asked himself was the boat rocked.
"On an island?" Bandit questioned, "the fair is in town!"
"No, he's on an island across the sea and I need to bring him back!" The woodcarver yelled.
"It's the story! He crosses the sea to try and find Pinocchio and ends up eaten, if it isn't for that there's no reason for him to be in the ocean." Chilli explained. Before either her or Bandit could say anything, the water was suddenly breached open by a massive creature. "My God, it's Monstro!" Gepetto cried out in horror as the gargantuan sea monster rose out of the water, it's head blocking out the sun.
"So he's acting like this because the story is making him?" Bandit said, watching the old man try to get further into deep water.
"Exactly, no matter what we do he's gonna keep trying until he either gets to that island or gets eaten." Chilli noted.
"So then what do we do?!" Bandit yelled, the wind picking up.
Chilli huffed, handing Bandit her oar. "You keep rowing us closer, that thing is circling, so we might have enough time."
Bandit watched as Chilli took off her dress and left it on the seat of the rowboat. She jumped off in her undergarments and swam to Gepetto's boat, grabbing him and dragging him into the water.
Bandit watched, impressed, as she Carried him back to their boat. He knew she was strong, but it was always a bit amazing how strong she was-and more than a bit stimulating as well... she deposited the old man and herself into the boat. "Now row! That things gonna realize that Gepetto isn't in his boat and start after us!"
The couple looked in horror as Gepetto's boat was swallowed by the what could be described as a Demon of the sea. "Row!" Chilli reiterated, grabbing her oar as Bandit held his, the two ignoring the old man's pleas to go in the other direction, quickly paddling away from the beast.
"WE NEED TO GET AWAY FROM THAT THING! ROW FASTER BANDIT, ROW FOR YOUR LIFE!" Chilli cried out as her and her husband rowed as hard as they could, but to no avail as the waves created from Monstro were too strong. "OH BISCUITS!" Bandit exclaimed as Chilli looked behind her and her blood froze as she saw Monstro coming straight at them.
(Meanwhile…)
"Attention! Ladies and gentlemen! Boys and girls alike! Mr. Blackwood's started in ten minutes! Be sure to get to your seats early!" The announcer said to the speakers. "We should hurry!!" Bingo said now very excited about the show while they walked. "I can't wait to see my first show!" Pinocchio said also very excited "it'll be so much fun!" Bluey added. "Alright we better get going," Thomas said as they started to walk faster. Suddenly Thomas accidentally bumped into a man who looked very pale. Thomas unknowingly got pulled into a power he had forgotten he had. All of this man's emotions, feelings and mind were gone. It felt cold, and dark, almost like there was person inside, it felt sad and even… dead inside. Thomas then was snapped out by Bluey pulling on her brother away from the Man. "Thomas? Are you okay?" Bluey asked looking up at her brother. Thomas was breathing hard and was sweating.
"I'm... fine." He said shaking his head slightly. "I just got spooked by that guys feelings."
"His feelings?" Pinocchio asked.
"I accidentally touched him and felt how he feels." Thomas explained, "or well, how he doesn't feel. It was creepy, like there was nothing going on." Like he was dead, Thomas thought.
"Do you think we can help cheer him up?" Bingo asked.
Thomas smiled, of course that's what bingo latched onto. "I think he'll be okay, why don't we go to the show. Nothing makes people feel better than a good circus. Right?"
"Yeah!" The girls cheered as they continued toward the big top.
Suddenly, Thomas felt a eerie feeling almost as if he was being watched. He looked up and saw a Raven looking down at him, the thing was this Raven was just staring blankly at him, almost like a statue, like the man that Thomas had bumped into. "Come on Thomas, we don't want to miss the Circus!" Bluey called out to her adopted older brother. Thomas snapped out of his thoughts before turning away from the Raven and running over to his sisters and Pinocchio. Little did Thomas know that the Raven had disappeared into a black smoke.
The four arrived at the tent and Thomas presented their tickets to the usher. He was a tall man with gaunt features and greasy skin. "Good day. Tickets please." He said.
"Here you go." Thomas said, handing over their black tickets.
"Ah, I see you have our honored guest tickets. Let me show you to your seat." The man's lips twitched as if he was attempting to smile but had forgotten how. The girls and Thomas looked at each other for a moment, but followed the man into the tent.
They then sat in their seats and waited for other to join. Only a few others had the special seats but it seemed like Thomas and kids were the main attraction for those seats. After a minute the lights went dark and a curl of black smoke began rising in the center of the room. "Hello, ladies and gentlemen... and welcome to the best show of your lives!" A voice announced. Suddenly a spotlight turned on to reveal a man standing amidst the smoke. "I am Mr. Blackwood, and this is my circus. You're in for a treat, because today is a day you'll not soon forget..." he grinned, the light reflecting off his teeth made Thomas unnerved. The girls and Pinocchio seemed fine though, so he didn't do anything. "Let's welcome out our first act, the clowns!"
"Hopefully the Clowns won't be too scary for the kids." Thomas said quietly to himself. "Kids, if it gets too intense for you all to handle, don't be afraid to tell me okay?" Thomas asked looking at his sisters and Pinocchio. "If it does, just tell me and we'll leave." Thomas added holding both Bluey and Bingo's hands. The clowns appeared a moment later. Or, more accurately things that half resembled clowns, half resembled mimes. Thomas didn't know if this was just the way clowns looked back in the past, or if it was just in this world, but the clowns weren't what he expected. They had heavy black and white makeup on their faces and were wearing ill fitting clothes in white and black patterns. The other audience members didn't seem alarmed, so he guessed it was normal.
"Creepy," Thomas muttered to himself while watching the show. Bingo was clapping and enjoying the show Bluey and Pinocchio were also watching and having a good time. "Are these what clowns look like?" Pinocchio asked, looking at Thomas. "Yeah, that's what they look like," Thomas replied while continuing to watch the show. While the clowns were doing funny things and making the crowd laugh. Thomas looked around and noticed how everyone had their focus on the clowns. Thomas felt a sensation that something was wrong. This feeling wouldn't go away as the show progressed. Thomas then shuts his eye and takes a deep breath while channeling the room around him.
Thomas opened his eyes to which his eye color turned green and he was able to see all the energy around him. What he was able to see was everyone's life force being drained while they laughed and enjoyed the show. Thomas looked down at the kids and noticed the same thing was happening to them. "No," Thomas said in a low tone while looking at his sisters and pinocchio. "Now for the elephants!" Mr Blackwood announced. Thomas looked forward as the clowns left in a cloud of black smoke. A few elephants came including a small one with huge ears. Thomas recognized this little elephant right away. "That's… dumbo? But… this is the wrong story for him? How is he here?" Thomas thought to himself. Thomas looked closely at the small elephant and noticed his soul energy was black as if there was nothing there inside him.
Thomas again looked at his sisters and Pinocchio and noticed whenever they showed how much they enjoyed the show, more and more of their soul was being taken away from them. "No!" Thomas shouted as he stood up and grabbed his sisters and Pinocchio. "Thomas, what are you doing?" Bluey asked, looking at her brother. "Yeah! Why are we leaving?" Bingo asked. Thomas looked at them and noticed that when he looked at them all their energy was red and negative. "Well now... it looks like one of our audience members isn't enjoying our show..." Thomas looked and saw Mr. Blackwood in the middle of the circus ring with a huge, unnerving smile on his face. "Well boys, why don't we show him a HELL of a good time!" He shouted at the clowns pointing the handle of a whip at him.
Thomas gulped before steadying himself, "girls, get behind me."
"Thomas, what's going on?" Bluey asked.
"Get behind me and hold on." He tried to blip out of the tent, only to realize he was stuck. He couldn't escape.
"Trying to leave the show early? Not that's not very good..." Blackwood stated, his crooked smile growing.
Thomas blinked his eyes, making his eye color retire normal. "I-is he a bad man?" Pinocchio asked a little frightened of Mr. Blackwood. "Very bad man," Thomas said through his teeth and he charged up his cosmic powers. "Ooo, this one's got some fire in his heart! Let's see if we can't COOL him off!" Mr. Blackwood said as a crackle of black lightening like energy glowed around his whip. "Show him how we deal with Debbie Downers boys!" He said cracking his whip at the Clowns.
The clowns laughed maniacally as they lunged forward at the small group. Thomas quickly threw up a violet shield and they bounced off. They were stubborn, though and they continued pounding on the barrier. Thomas could tell it was starting to strain, for some reason he was having trouble tapping into his powers… "What a neat little trick, I might have to make you my next act when I'm finished... TAMING you." Mr. Blackwood said as he licked his teeth. "What the hell is going on?" Thomas asked himself while still holding on his cosmic shield. Thomas then used all his forced to push the clowns off. The clowns went flying back and landed on the ground. The clowns stood up cracking all their bones back together and laughing about it.
"Boy, you seem to forget where you are! The ringmaster always controls the circus..." Blackwood smirked. "And you're going to be one fascinating new attraction!" Mr. Blackwood said. "Sorry, the life of Circus is tempting but it's not for me." Thomas replied with a small smug grin. "How disappointing... but I'm afraid that you have NO choice." Blackwood said before cracking his whip at Thomas' shield. Thomas, his sisters and Pinocchio braced themselves for the attack. The wipe smashed the shield apart as Thomas covered the kids as the glass from the shield scattered everywhere. "Run! I'll hold them off!" Thomas said as he rushed the kids off. "Let's dance freak!" Thomas said as he formed two cosmic swords in his hands.
The girls and Pinocchio dashed down the bleachers and arrived at the flap leading to the outside. Thomas meanwhile dodged one slash from blackwoods whip and used his blade to deflect the other. He turned to see his sisters being grabbed by a clown with a striped shirt and held in its claw like hands. "Get off of them!" Pinocchio shouted trying to hit the clown with all his might. "GET AWAY FROM THEM!" Thomas exclaimed in a rage as he threw one of his swords at the clown, hitting it right between its eyes resulting in it letting go of Thomas' sisters before its limp body fell to the ground. The Clowns body then melted into a black goo and began to move towards Mr. Blackwood. "Aww you killed Vixen, he was my star clown." The Wicked Ringmaster said in a mocking sad tone.
"Touch them again! And I'll end you!" Thomas shouted looking at the ringmaster. "There's that fire I need from you!" Mr Blackwood said with a dark smile. "I'll just have to have some of the backups take care of them..." he snapped his fingers and two other clowns appeared from the exit. "Bonzo, Gimmick, take care of our special guests. We don't need our new star having any distractions from his new occupation!"
Thomas then saw the black goo moving towards Mr. Blackwood from the corner of his eye before throwing his sword at the goo. It then shrieked in agony before dissolving into a puddle and evaporating. "NO! YOU LITTLE BRAT!" Mr. Blackwood exclaimed in pure anger as his creepy smile was now replaced with a frown. "KILL HIM BEFORE HE RUINS EVERYTHING!" He ordered the other clowns before cracking his whip at them. Thomas then had an idea, he blasted the goo with his cosmic powers making it evaporate completely. Mr. Blackwood then screamed in pain grabbing his stomach. " WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR KILL THE BRAT!" Mr. Blackwood exclaimed at Bonzo and Gimmick before the clowns charged at Thomas.
"Girls, take Pinocchio and get out of here." Thomas ordered, his eyes glowing as he produced a large set of blades. He turned to the clowns, "yknow, I've always hated clowns..." he brought it down on Bonzo's head, breaking it in half. As it turned to goo he trapped the black tar into a violet orb and incinerated it. Gimmick shrieked and Thomas readied a second attack. The circus tent was once again filled with sounds of Mr. Blackwood crying out in pain. "NO, I WON'T LET YOU DESTROY EVERYTHING I BUILT! I'VE COME TOO FAR!" He said before his eyes glowed with a bright purple fire. "Now... let me show you TRUE POWER!" The Ringmaster said before his body levitated and his whip grew longer and a end became solid forming a claw of sorts.
Mr. Blackwood screamed in pain once more. "I'll kill you myself!" Mr. Blackwood shouted as he faced started to melt. "Bring it on then!" Thomas said with a smirk. "Prepare to die!" Mr. Blackwood shouted getting his wipe out. Thomas and Mr. Blackwood then charged at each other.
(Meanwhile in Brisbane, Australia...)
Fenrir followed the energy source up the building that was under construction, it felt like Thomas' energy signature but different. Different that the Armored Mutant couldn't describe in words that didn't come to his mind. Fenrir then got closer and noticed that two dead dogs were in the elevator shaft. This energy was dark and cold as Fenrir continued going up. He tread silently across the site, his sensors indicating that the energy increased as he neared the building. The first floor was open, the glass panels not yet installed in the lowest level. Fenrir walked across the threshold and began up the stairs, the power source leading him upward toward an apartment.
Jinx was in a state of mind still controlling poor little Andy from a far with his powered Jinx then sensed someone was near him. Jinx looked at Fenrir with a dark smile. "Now what do we here?" Jinx asked darkly. The upper thigh of his armor opened up to reveal a pistol, the handgun itself was other worldly as Fenrir grabbed it from the built in holster. After his armor closed up and now armed, he stood his ground at the strange being that was before him. Fenrir looked up and his helmet blinked confirming the energy source before The Armored Behemoth placed his finger on the trigger of his pistol and aimed it at Jinx.
Without turning or making any noise the pistol flew from Fenrirs hand.
"I may be occupied at the moment, but I'm not stupid. If you're going to attack me, maybe try not to trigger every one of my mental tripwires as you trapse into my base." Jinx turned, his eyes cold as he stared at the mirrored helmet. "Not even a hello?" Jinx asked as he stood up and circled the large behemoth. "You've been making my job a little easier with Thomas... why don't you join me?" Jinx asked darkly. Fenrir then rose his hand before his pistol flew back into his hand, all the while staring at Jinx. He then gripped his pistol tightly as the two stared each other down and stood their ground, neither showing a sign of backing off.
"Thomas is mine, and since you won't join me I guess I'll just have to off my competition." Jinx raised his hands, a strange light filtering from them. "Last chance, you join me or I rip you out of that tinman costume and make sure you're no longer a threat." Jinx said keeping his eye on Fenrir. Fenrir clenched his fist defiantly before a six foot axe with a glowing orange crystal deeply embedded in it popped out from his back and into the air. Fenrir raised his now unclenched fist and the axe flew into his hand, the crystal sparked with a orange lightening that surrounded the axe.
"No? Then so be it!" Jinx shouted blasting Fenrir with red lightning from his hands while laughing hysterically. Fenrir didn't flinch as he deflected the lightning, it crackling off his blade. After a moment he swung it forward, lunging toward Jinx as he brought down his swipe, narrowly avoiding the man as he jumped back. Jinx then used his telekinesis to lift a steel beam before and throwing it at Fenrir. The Armored Mutant gauntlet then opened as his helicopter blade shield spun to life just as the steel beam could hit him. The beam was obliterated into shreds. Fenrir then made gestures with his one hand as he used sign language at Jinx.
"I'm going to kill you and everything you care about!" Jinx shouted while using his telekinesis to crush the suit from inside out.
Fenrir felt it contracting, the pressure mounting as he was lifted off the ground by the telekinetic powers. He had two choices, either be crushed or somehow manage to incapacitate his foe and win. Unfortunately he was pinned with his arms at his side as the suit started buckling.
Fenrir then used all of his strength to lifthis hand at Jinx and the self proclaimed God soon felt himself being pulled towards his opponent. He soon felt Fenrir's hand grab his head before being slammed into the concrete floor several times. Fenrir then lifted Jinx and looked into his eyes and saw a pup, scared and not understanding what was going on. A knife suddenly popped into Fenrir's hand before he stabbed Jinx in the head where his Celebral Cortex would be before throwing his body aside. Jinx stood there bloodied and battered, he suddenly felt something was wrong he tried to focus on his connection to Andy but to no avail.
"What did you do?!" He roared, blood trickling down his face as he glared at Fenrir. "No!" Jinx shouted as he slammed his hands down to the ground causing the whole building to fall down. Jinx blipped away as the whole structure came down on top of Fenrir. Fenrir then arose from the rubble and stood there knowing full well that this wouldn't be the last time that him and Jinx would see of each other. He looked up at the sky seeing the moon, he wondered where Thomas was and hoped that he could help him... and maybe somehow redeem himself. He was snapped out of his thoughts as the sound of sirens and helicopter could be heard approaching him. He then got up from the debris and used his telekinesis to fix the damage Jinx had done to him before he cloaked and disappeared into the Capital of Queensland.
The collapse of an under construction building wasn't without notice, particularly in downtown Brisbane. The rubble had been mostly contained, but the building's sudden demise had still caused a massive shock which had left the neighboring area on edge. As the police and firefighters taped off the site they wondered what had caused the damage, unaware that a certain human was now lurking and trying to find a new base.
Meanwhile with Bandit and Chilli…
Bandit struck a match and held it in his hand, trying to illuminate the area around them. After a minute he felt the flame touch his fingertips and quickly put it out.
"Well, we're inside the whale." He remarked.
"No, really?" Chilli replied.
Bandit turned to see his wife before hugging her tightly and peppering her face with kisses. "Oh my god Chilli! I'm so glad you're okay!" He said with tears of relief in his eyes. Chilli chuckled as she took out the dagger that Thomas had given them. It lit up making enough light for them to see.
"I'm glad you're okay too." She said, returning his kisses with one of her own.
Behind them Gepetto cleared his throat, leading the couple to turn to him. "So... not to interrupt your moment, but, what do we do now?"
"Well this would normally be the part where your son would save us," Bandit said rubbing the back of his neck
"Pinocchio? But he's just a boy, and he's with your children at the circus. Is he not?" Gepetto asked, concerned.
"No, he is, but..." Chilli glanced at Bandit, unsure of how to explain how they knew what should happen. After a moment of silent communication in a way that only parents of small children have mastered she continued, "...well, it's complicated. In any case, we need to figure out some way out of this beast."
"I guess... for now, all we can do is hope and pray for a miracle to happen." The Wood Carver said before sitting on a tipped over barrel. Bandit and Chilli then cuddled each other hoping for the best if pinocchio or their son could save them. The light from the dagger gently illuminated the cavern of the whales inside. As it did Gepetto looked at the blade.
"How does your knife do that?" He marveled as he looked at the glow. "Uh er um well..." Bandit said nervously. "Magic!" Chilli said with a smile. The woodcarvers eyes widened slightly. "Are you a wizard?"
"Yes!" Chilli nodded, "we both are."
Bandit looked at his wife, "yes, we both are?"
"I can see into the future." She said, nudging her husband. "It's like an open book to me."
Bandit then caught on to what she was doing. "Yes! And we know for sure our children will come and save us from the Whale," Bandit said, proudly with confidence. "Oh, so what do you do?" Gepetto asked.
"Yeah, I can, um..." he fiddled with his pockets before producing his phone, "control light and sound using just this device."
Chilli frowned, "wait, I thought you left that at home."
Bandit sheepishly grinned, "I get bored and grabbed it so I'd have something to do when I was in the dunny."
"You absolutely wonderful man!" She kissed him.
He blinked, surprised.
"Call Wilbur! He can send out our location to the kids, they'll get here and save us!"
Meanwhile back at the Circus, Thomas was continuing to Mr. Blackwood as the battled viciously as Bluey, Bingo, and Pinocchio made their escape out of the tent. The children ran as fast as they could out of the fairgrounds, avoiding the pale and gaunt looking patrons who seemed unaware of their presence. When they reached the edge of the tents and stalls Bingo paused, panting. "We need to help Thomas!"
"How? We can't fight, we don't have powers..." Bluey remarked as she looked at the far off tent.
"We got to try at least, we can't just abandoned your brother." Pinocchio chimed in as the three began to ponder a plan to help and save Thomas. Bluey and Bingo at each other, I thought for a moment. "Wilbur!" The girls shouted before looking in the backpack. "Wilbur?" Pinocchio asked, confused. "He's a helper that Thomas built." Bluey explained.
"He's really smart, and he can tell us more about what's going on. Maybe he can give us an idea, or maybe he can help Thomas." Bingo added.
"Oh, is he mechanical, like papa's clocks?" Pinocchio asked.
"Sort of." Bluey said as she pulled the drone out of the bag.
Upon pushing a button, the little robot came to live. "Greetings Bluey and Bingo, how may I assist you today?" Wilbur asked looking at them. "Wilbur! Thomas is in trouble! He needs help!" Bluey said fearful for her brother. "this main man Mr. Blackwood is trying to hurt him. Can you scan him for any weaknesses?" Bingo, said while having trouble saying the word weaknesses "Absolutely." Wilbur dipped slightly, as if nodding. His screen flashed a determined expression as he whizzed off toward the tent. He quickly scanned the area, careful not to get too close. He saw Thomas locked in combat, using one of his hands to cast a shield and the other holding a blade to slice at a hoard of seemingly possessed trapeze artists. He locked onto the ringmaster for a brief second before flying off, returning to the girls to report what he'd observed.
"Thomas is in combat with the ringmaster." He stated. "The ringmaster appears to be in control of his own form of cosmic energy, though his is based on using the life force of living creatures to create and control what he desires."
Bluey frowned, "so he uses people's lives to make his magic happen?"
"Essentially, yes." Wilbur replied.
"What can we do? How can we help Thomas win?" Bingo asked.
"From what I observed in combat, The Ringmaster is weakened when the physical bodies of his minions are destroyed and by incineration." The little drone replied based off of his calculations. "Maybe we can help by shining some light on those minions," Pinocchio suggested as he looked at the girls. "That could work you 99 percent of that working," Wilbur added.
Bingo looked at her sister and Pinocchio, a grin on her face. "They don't like fire, right? Maybe we can use that."
"Bingo, we can't light a circus on fire. There's still people in there who aren't evil." Bluey said.
"No, not the whole tent, just the ring master!" Bingo said.
"How?" Bluey asked.
"Those!" Bingo pointed at a stall nearby selling hand mirrors and glasses.
"Oh, we use the mirrors to move light and shine it on him. Then it goes through glasses until it burns!" Bluey said.
"Like when I saw that one kid using a Magnifying Glass to burn those ants!" Bingo replied. "Exactly, only this time the ant is ALOT bigger." Bluey said before her, her little sister, and Pinocchio ran in different directions to grab mirrors. Thomas was knocked to the ground breathing hard from exhaustion. "You weak spineless fool! You think would could beat me?" Mr. Blackwood said with a dark laugh.
Suddenly a little drone appeared in the corner of Thomas' vision holding a mirror. Thomas grinned. "Because unlike you, I know what it means to have someone love you."
"Love?" He sneered, "yes, I'm sure the love of your siblings can save you? Oh wait! They aren't even here!" Blackwood chucked. Thomas saw in the corner of his eye Bluey, Bingo, and Pinocchio with mirrors and began gesturing by pointing at the mirrors then at the sunlight coming in from them opening the flap on the tent.
"That's what you think..." Thomas said with a smug smile before firing two Kinetic Energy blasts at the roof of the tent where his siblings were and one at the ceiling above him before Wilbur tossed his master the mirror he was holding. "NOW!" He shouted to Bluey and Bingo as he grabbed the mirror and they angled the mirror with the beam of sun light that shined from the holes Thomas made in the roof.
"What! No!" Mr Blackwood shouted.
Bright light streamed in through the holes, amplified by the mirrors and lenses. Within moments Blackwood started smoking. The heat and light too much for the man. He shrieked as his robes started smoldering, before collapsing to his knees. "No! This can't be! Out witted by a bunch of... CHILDREN!" The Ringmaster cried out as he burst into flames as his flesh burnt to a crisp and his eyes burst from the pressure that built up.
"It's over!" Thomas shouted as he blasted Blackwood one last time making him turn into black goo. The people in the tent's eyes became clear as their would returned. Muttering was heard as the crowds dispersed, the tent now empty aside from Thomas and his siblings, the girls running in to hug him.
"Good thinking!" He said, hugging his sisters.
"We had to save you somehow." Bluey said with a smile as her eyes welled with tears. "We didn't want you to die." Bingo said with a smile as both sisters hugged their brother tightly, both thankful that he was safe. "Pinocchio helped too along with Wilber," Bluey added. "Thanks guys," Thomas said looking at Wilbur and Pinocchio.
At that moment Wilbur buzzed. It was the emergency beacon.
"Wilbur, is everything okay? What's happening?" Pinocchio asked.
"It's the distress beacon." Thomas said.
"I am getting an emergency request from Bandit. He and Chilli are stuck in a large creature in the ocean, along with Gepetto." Wilbur reported.
"Monstro!" The girls shouted looking at each other.
"We gotta get them out of there and we will... at any cost." Thomas said as Wilbur flew over to him. "Might I suggest something Master Thomas?" The little drone asked as he flew into his creator's view. "Yes Wilbur, what?"
"Well, Master Thomas, given your ability to master control is space given your abilities, why not simply appear inside the monster and then transport your parents and the woodcutter safely back to the village?" The drone suggested.
Thomas blinked. "That is much easier than I had thought." Thomas said with a chuckle
"Gee Golly, that sure is a nifty contraption you got there Mister." Pinocchio said impressed by the little robot.
"Then what are we waiting for?" Bluey said, looking at her brother. "Alright everyone grab onto me," Thomas said as everyone grabbed on to him.
His body then started to glow as he used Wilbur's GPS and focused on where exactly his and his sister's parents could possibly be before finally getting a lock on their location. "Okay everyone, hold on tightly!" He ordered his sisters and Pinocchio before he teleported.
A moment passed and the four appeared in the belly of the beast.
"Thomas!" Bandit shouted, happily hugging his son.
"Girls!" Chilli scooped up her daughters before joining the group hug with Thomas and Bandit.
"Pinocchio!" Gepetto said as he picked up his wooden boy.
"Alright everyone, hold on tight. I've never done this many people at once, so it might be a bit bumpy..." Thomas warned.
Everyone grabbed onto Thomas as best as they could before he attempted to teleport once again.
They teleported back to the village
"Oh man... I don't know if I'm ever gonna get used to that." Bandit said he took a deep breath. Thomas collapsed to his knees, he was sweating. But it was done. Everyone was safe. His parents, sisters, even the little wooden boy and his creator/father. He painted a moment as he looked around.
"What on..." he mumbled as Pinocchio was lifted into the air, blue light shimmering around him. "Look! He's becoming a real boy!" Bluey pointed out with a smile.
The Wooden Pupper then started to change, his limbs turning from wood to arms of bone and flesh. His face taking on more human like features, before long Pinocchio had been fully transformed into a real boy as Bluey had pointed out. "Oh wow..." Pinocchio said as he looked down at his hands. The light became blinding for a moment, then Pinocchio descended. As he touched the ground it was clear that he was no longer a wooden boy.
"I guess he earned his humanity by helping us save people at the carnival." Bingo said.
"Looks like something's happening to you too!" Gepetto said, pointing at the family as they started to glow. "Oh please no more!" Bandit said as he started to feel uneasy. "Since we resolved the story we're free from this world!" Chilli said.
"Everyone hold onto each other!" Bandit said, quickly grabbing his family. "We aren't getting separated!"
"Goodbye Pinocchio!" Bingo called.
"Goodbye!" The boy waved back, sitting in his fathers lap.
It all went white a moment before they realized they were all standing together.
"Are we home?" Bluey asked, her eyes still pinched shut.
"Not quite." Thomas said, noticing the large pink house in front of them. "I think we have another story ahead of us."Thomas said. "Oh for crying out loud!" Bandit said, falling to his in frustration.
