Once the group had come to meet the other dragonets they started to wonder what could have made Betamon digivolve into Seadramon. As they landed, Clay let the digimon off his back to notice that Starflight had a look of horror on his face.
"Starflight what happened?" Sunny asked, looking confused and happy to see the sun again.
"Th-the nightwings they came for me." Starflight said looking mortified.
"Well you are still here so let's get going before they come back." Clay said looking sore from not having mud in a while.
"Yeah yeah lets go." Starflight said as he snapped back into reality.
"Wait, what about these little ones?" Glory said, looking at the digimon.
"I guess till we find a home for them we can carry them with us!" Sunny said, patting Fanbeemon on her head.
"Hey yellow one, can we just come with you forever?" Fanbeemon asked Sunny.
"Statistically that would raise our odds of survival in this world." Hagurumon said, spinning his gears.
"Hagurumon just please stop doing the calculations for one minute?" Floramon said with a passive aggressive smile on her face.
"Well he is not wrong. If you think about it for a second, if we partner up we can keep flying for longer and escape the skywing kingdom. Then move on to whatever kingdom is next." Starflight said, putting his talon to his chin.
"Starflight not now." Glory said, picking up Floramon.
"Let's get to the river and pick what to do there before the guards come back" Tsunami commanded as Seadramon turned back into Betamon.
"Well then mind if I stick with you good sire?" Hagurumon asked.
"Sure, stick with me." Starflight said to the gear digimon.
After all the digimon had hopped on a dragonet or entered a digivice they took off making a plan. Clay and Glory would head to the mudwing kingdom to find Clay's parents and the rest of the group would go to the bay near the seawing kingdom where Tsunami's family was and had protection from the other tribes. With the plan decided by the dragonets they had the digimon head with Tsunami to her kingdom.
"Well glory glad you chose to come with me but how will you hide?" Clay said, questioning her strategy.
"Can you remember that I can do this?" Glory said, turning into a mudwings coloration.
"Oh yeah that." Clay said with a deadpan face.
"Well let's get going to the mudwing kingdom." Glory said with a hand motion.
"Well then the mudwing kingdom we must go!" Gazimon shouted from the digivice.
"Look, just be quiet for now." Clay said "and I guess this must be it the mudwing kingdom… it kinda looks more like a military camp?"
"Yeah, let's ask him." Glory said.
"Excuse me, do you know of a mudwing that lost a blood red egg?" Clay asked the large mudwing.
"Shut up and go back to your tree over in the south swamp with the rest of you siblings." The sergeant said as he pointed him to the south.
"Guess mudwings don't lose eggs that much." Glory said to clay.
"I guess not." Clay said knocking on the tree that his supposed siblings were in. "Hello, anyone here?"
"Shut up, go away!" A voice called.
"I think I'm supposed to be here, I was stolen as an egg!" Clay shouted as six heads came out of the trunk.
"Who is your mother then?" The largest of the six said.
"I was told to come here but the sarge said something about being one of a dragon called Cattail. And called us mistakes and the slow ones as he walked off." Clay said
sat down as they surrounded him.
"You do smell like one of us." The smallest of them called out.
"Guess you could stick with us." One of the medium sized dragonets said to Clay.
"Well in order of size I'm Reed then there is Marsh, Crane, Pheasant, Umber, and Sora." Reed said as the others were in a line already.
"Wow you are bigger than Reed!" Umber said.
"I think he was meant to be our big wings!" Sora shouted.
"I would not mind stepping down if that means we get a new sibling." Reed said.
"Sorry guys but I just wanted to see if I had any family or if I was an orphan due to being stolen as a kid." Clay said, turning to leave.
"No, please don't leave us, we need you bro!" Sora pleaded to clay.
"Look kid, your brother has a war to end so if you don't leave him alone I'll make you leave him." Gazimon said, getting in a fighting stance.
"...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! It's so adorable! come here!" she screamed, grabbing Gazimon.
"C:AY HELP YOU SISTER IS TRYING TO KILL ME!" Gazimon shouted to his partner as Clay sat there wondering if he should help or let it happen.
"Clay help him." Glory said in a more commanding voice.
"Fine but just a bit longer so he knows what it was like to be trapped in a prison." Clay said with a grin of vengeance after seeing Gazimon sleep comfortably and steal part of his food.
"CLAY!" Glory shouted.
"Fine fine sis let my partner go." Clay told Sora slowly to make it last as long as possible.
"Finally you buffoon, I'll get you for this one one day!" Gazimon said.
"Aww fine." Sora said as she let Gazimon go as he went back into the digivice.
"Well let's get going, the others are waiting." Glory said, pulling his tail a bit.
"Ok lets go." Clay said as both dragonets flew off towards the seawing kingdom.
As the dragonets flew off to the seawing kingdom there was a bit of a disturbance in the sky. As a large shadow flies into a hole in the sly the dragonets barely see the tail of the creature thinking it to be a skywing and not paying it any mind. As they reached the shore the others greeted them with warm smiles. Clay waved high then dove into some wet sand, thinking it was mud. Gill was also there due to some scouts telling him of the location of the group.
"Dragonets this way i'll lead you to the summer place and we can get you situated there." Gill said, stepping into the water motioning for the others to follow.
"Right." the whole group said as they flew or swam to the place.
Arriving at the palace the dragonets were greeted by a dragon with a dragonet in a harness attached to her
"Father!" the light blue dragonet called.
"Gill, it's been so long, where have you been?are you alright did they mistreat you?I'll go over there and kill them myself!" the large blue dragon said, grabbing Gill to give him a hug.
"Hello Coral. Hello Anemone." Gill said, holding them both in his arms.
"What are a mudwing, nightwing, and rainwing doing here?" Coral said.
Starflight with a grey digivice bowed. "Queen Coral, we are the dragonets of destiny."
"And the seawing with them is our lost egg. Tsunami!" Gill said, trying to pull away from the affection he was getting from his family.
"Wait, I have a sister?" Anemone asked "does that mean I can be let off this harness?"
"Oh ho ho ho! No dear daughter, you are staying here just to be safe." Queen Coral said with a chuckle.
"Hi, so you must be my mom then?" Tsunami said with Betamon on her head.
"Yes, I am the great queen Coral. Let me show you the palace." She said, taking Tsunami in hand.
"What just happened?" Clay asked.
"I think they call it family bonding."Hagurumon said from starflights digivice.
"Wait Starflight, when did you?" Clay asked, more confused than ever.
"On the way over here he got tired and Haurumon and Starflight bonded for science, and to learn the other's biology or something like that." Sunny said with Fanbeemon on her head still wet.
"Well I mean I also made a pairing with Floramon." Glory said with her digivice that had flowers on it that looked more like stickers.
"Then where is peril?" Clay said, looking around.
"Oh she left to go be a safety and back up for us if we need it." Starflight said. His digivice now lighting up a bright white.
"Starflight the scans of the summer palace are complete and I am tracking the digivice that Tsunami has." Hagurumon said, pulling up a map.
"Wait, you can do that?" Starflight questioned.
"Yep, it's just some basic sonar." Hagurumon said as Starflights eyes lit up as they started to ramble on and on about something the others could not care to pay attention to.
"And that's the whole palace." Coral said, dragging a now dizzy Tsunami.
"Ugh why does the ceiling look like the floor?" Tsunami asked passing out.
"Well the rest of you can go to one of the lower level caves and sleep there and we can talk in the morning." Gill said, pointing at some caves in the distance.
"Thank you. Your majesty." the group said, dragging Tsunami into a cave.
After an hour or 2 Tsunami woke up and left the cave to go talk with the other seawings and explore the ocean. Where she noticed that all the seawings underwater had a language that she did not understand.
"Mother, what is the point of the glowing scales? I don't understand why some people keep flashing at me when under the water?" Tsunami said with a confused and curious look on her face.
"Did the talons never teach you aquatic?" Coral said, looking unsurprised. "You can join your sister in aquatic lessons."
One horrendous aquatic lesson later…
"I never want to go back there." Tsunami said.
"Don't worry, I've read the whole library already!" Betamon said.
"What how?" Tsunami said.
"We are programmed to learn new things really fast." Betamon said, lighting up with a happy smile.
"Well let's get back to the others." Tsunami said, turning around to pick up Betamon.
"Ok Tsu lets go." Betamon said, starting to hum a tune.
As the pair started to move off something was going on in the cave as Sunny had disappeared along with Glory. Clay and Starflight had also disappeared while going into the dinning hall. Once she got to the cave a portal had been seen closing with the metal head of a digimon slowly going back into it.
"Betamon be ready!" Tsunami said getting in a fighting stance.
"B3 r3 dy f0r wh t?" A voice said, grabbing Tsunami by the leg.
"Agg!" Tsunami shouted trying to pull away.
"Tsu ill help!" Betamon said.
"Sorry rookie but I don't think you will be helping out." A voice called out from the portal.
"Who are you? Where are you!" Tsunami said.
"In the world you will be in soon!" the figure said "DexDorugamon pulled her into the digital world!"
"Y3s s1r3." DexDorugamon said pulling Tsunami into the digital world.
"Now for that other annoying dragon, Peril, I think it was." The dragon said to himself as DexDorugamon closed the portals and opened a new one to the exact location of peril, doing the same to her.
"Now with this and all of the dragons in the digital world DexDorugamon. We have some data to absorb." The figure said warping back into the digital world.
"D3xD0rug m0n w1ll b3 th3 b3st." It said not to move its jaw.
"So who is first on our list lets go with the weakest ones, the sandwing and rainwing." The shadow said moving into the portal. "Dex lets go."
