"Glory, have you found someone to take over for you till you get back?" Tsunami asked her now fellow royal.
"Yeah I'll leave the previous queen and Mastermind in charge for now, and with Hexabloumon and Canowiessmon no rebellions should start." Glory said as they started to walk out
"Alright gang, let's move out and keep this going." Clay said as the other dragonets lined up beside him in a pose that looked practiced.
"Uhhh…" Mastermind said with solarmon near him.
"Don't question it, just act normal and keep moving." Solarmon said, looking at Hagurumon. "You better get a move on for you rust."
"Will do brother." Hagurumon said as he floated to the dragonets.
"Ok the icewings we need to see them, they could play a part in stopping the war." Clay said as the digimon had started to dematerialize into the digivices.
"Uh, how do I turn back?" Tyrannomon-X asked as he started to argue with Fanbeemon.
"Yeah I say we cut through Jade mountain to go around the sandwing kingdom and move towards the icewing kingdom." Clay proposed.
"Wait Jade mountain you mean the mountain that is rumored to be haunted?" Starflight asked with a whimper.
"Starflight, we have our digimon and it will be fine. We can fly by the mountain range in a day or so once we get there." Tsunami said with sunny agreeing and arguing with Tyrannomon who was now doing a handstand
"I say we go around the mountains into the skywing kingdom then head to the icewing kingdom." Sunny proposed during the downtime of having Waspmon and Tyrannomon fight it out to lower his energy.
"I would love to go meet Peril again." Clay said with a smile closing his eyes thinking of her.
"Mountain pass." Glory said looking at Clay's face.
"Yeah, let's go to the mountain before we get caught in a romance plot." Sunny said with Starflight looking shattered.
"Come on Starflight it's not that bad, it's just the mountains." Tsunami said with Starflight looking more down than usual.
"Yeah the mountains." Starflight said as they took off.
"Sir Starflight you seem to be sad that you couldn't confess your feelings to s-" Hagurumon started
"Shut Up!" Starflight said quickly as Sunny, Glory, and Tsunami started to bug him about it.
"So Starflight, who is the lucky dragon you like?" Tsunami said with a mischievous grin on her face.
"Yeah you have to tell us because there is a chance she could be queen of our kingdom one day." Glory said turning pink, orange, and purple.
"I'm not telling you and what do you mean our kingdom?" Starflight said to speeding up to get away from the conversation.
"Well I was going to let you be the leader of nightwing affairs. Wait a minute you're trying to change the subject you sly dog." Glory said turning a dark red.
"Starflight you can tell me anything, and you know that." Sunny said as Starflight looked away.
"I wonder what all the commotion is about." Clay thought as he sped up to catch them. "What are you guys talking about?" he asked.
"Starflight won't tell us his crush and we want to know!" Glory and Tsunami shout as they giggle to each other.
"Sunny." Clay says way to calm for the moment.
"What how would you know?" Tsunami asked with Glory looking closer.
"No, look at them." Glory said as Starflight looked around but never at Sunny.
"Hey Sunny I know who Starflight lik-" Clay started to say as Starflight stopped and punched Clay in the stomach.
"Shut Up Clay I told you once and told you to not tell her." Starflight said with a shine in his eye.
"Ok ok I won't." Clay said, trying to catch his breath.
"Too late I kinda get the vibe now." Sunny said avoiding Starflights eyes.
"Yeah it's kinda sad bro." Starshot said, making his presence known.
"When did you get here?" Clay asked Starshot.
"I have been here the whole time. I have to come with you. Dex tracks my digivice." He said with a worried look.
"Anyway Starflight look, I like you but I'm not in love with you like you are to me, but maybe one day we could." Sunny said, trying not to hurt his feelings.
A silence among the group was almost necessary till broken by a shout followed by blue laser. "POSITRON LASER!"
"Crap no time to be hurt about being rejected dive!" Glory said as they all dove and landed on the ground.
"Dragonets sorry for attacking you but I need the yellow one. It has a similar scent to my master." Imperialdramon black said as Sunny walked towards the black dragon with Guilmon and Fanbeemon by her side. "Come on dragonets follow behind me there is someone who has wanted to see you all."
"See us?" the group thought following carefully.
After walking down a narrow path they had reached a cliff with two caves Imperialdramon had pointed to the smaller of the two. "Sunny in there is your father, or what is left of his body. His soul and mine are fused together with animus magic and that's how we evolved into this form from our original form of Dinobeemon." Imperialdramon said. "I'm sorry we could not protect him from his magic, but you do have a mother who lives in the scorpion's den in the sandwing kingdom.. That is the one thing he said before he fuzed his soul into our body. He also wanted you to have this to help stop the war. It's called the eye of oryx. You can use it to listen into conversations from all over the world, and will pick the sandwing queen. However if it touches a queen challenger and finds them not worthy they will die." Imperialdramon said with his eyes glowing a deeper red.
"So then he is dead but could I get his name?" Sunny asked with a firm grip on the eye.
"Stonemover his name was Stonemover." Imperialdramon said in a somber tone.
"Well I hope I'll find a way to talk to him one day." Sunny said smiling.
"Sunny, I have this. It allows you to watch other dreams, maybe you could get in touch with him there." Starflight said with Sunny jumping up and hugging him, and grabbing the dream visitor.
"Thanks, I'll try it." Sunny said as she held it in her hand a body had appeared but everyone else had disappeared.
"Well guess if she collapsed out there then. Ah there you are." Stonemover said as Sunny ran up to him seeing something.
"Wait, you're a nightwing?" She asked.
"Yes I am, that's why Imperialdramon has his black color and yes your mom is a sandwing. Sunny you are a hybrid and that's why you are smaller than normal. Sunny one last thing your two partners Fanbeemon and Guilmon remind me of Veemon and Wormon they might have the same power to DNA digivolve."
"Ok hold on first I'm a hybrid? Second, who are Veemon and Wormon? Third, what is DNA digivolution?" Sunny asked, confused at the information.
"Sorry I can't explain the hybrid thing, but Veemon and Wormmon were my and your mothers partners that DNA digivolved into Dinobeemon. Now let me show you how to DNA Digivolve first you need them both to be in sync. Next you have them touch each other, and you press this button here to fuze them together." Stonemover explained. "Oh and take Imperialdramon with you when you go see your mother. I know she would love to see her old friend again." Stonemover said as he disappeared into the white void behind him.
"Father!" Sunny screamed as she woke up in Starflight's arms.
"Good afternoon Sunny, the others and Imperialdramon are doing some training." Starflight explained as Sunny jumped out of his arms.
"Th-Thanks for letting me know." She said blushing slightly.
"Lovebirds." Starshot said from the corner.
"Quiet Starshot!" Sunny and Starflight shout as he rolls his eyes.
"Oh yeah I need Imperialdramon!" Sunny says as she bolts outside. "Imperialdramon can we talk?" She shouts to the dragon as he is fighting Seadramon, Leomon, and Waspmon.
"Sure what do you need?" He asks, throwing all of them off of him.
"When we come back can you follow us to the Scorpions den? You are the only one of us that knows where it is." Sunny said as a cover up to her true intentions.
"Of course I'll go with you." Imperialdramon says as the other digimon turn back into their rookie forms.
"Ok then we will be back for you then." Sunny said with a smile that makes Imperialdramon remember something from his past. "Clay, we are leaving for the icewing kingdom tomorrow, right?" Sunny asked as Clay nodded. "Right then you have a good time training!"
