"The start of my revival hopefully he holds his own on his side." A child in a chain says with his wings faintly glowing.
"Starshot we got to move." Dion says as the dragonet wakes up from his dream.
"Why?" Starshot asks as the thundering claw of DexDORUgoramon smashes through the village. "Forget what I asked."
"Horn Buster!" AtlurKabuterimon called out shooting an orange did not scratch Dex.
"Spiral Sword!" Andromon calls out trying to aim for the same spot to hopefully pierce the thick armor of Dex. "Attack Ineffective."
"Thanks for the input." Starflight said as Dex laughed.
"Never have I seen digimon of the ultimate level this weak." Dex said as he grabs the two digimon and throws them out of the way and into the now ready to fight Rosemon and Lotusmon knocking them out of the mega form.
"Izzy run!" AtlurKabuterimon shouted as Starflight grabbed the kid and tried to make a dash for some cover.
"Oh no you don't kid." Dex shouts grabbing the dragonet and tossing him into a building with Izzy in Starflights wings being shielded from the impact.
"Ma-Starflight." Andromon calls out as a flicker of emotion comes from the heartless machine.
"Izzy." AtlurKabuterimon shouts thinking his partner is dead.
"Why is it just those four fighting?" Starshot asks as the digimon starts to glow.
"The others left to get a better position to try to attack from different angles." Dion says as the two digimon start to digivolve.
"Andromon Digivolve to…" The cyborg shouts as it gains more armor and turning a dark black gaining two turbines, one red on his left shoulder, and one blue on his right.
"Hi-Andromon!" It said as the already massive bug starts to grow even more.
"AtlurKabuterimon digivolve to…" He shouts growing to twice the size as well as horns each the size of a nightwing and turning a shimmering gold with red highlights on the exposed exoskeleton.
"HerakleKabuterimon!" He shouts landing on the ground causing it to shake slightly as he lands.
"Finally some fun might be had here." Dex says as he meets HerakleKabuterimon in a tug of war. "Don't disappoint me!" he shouts, throwing the mega over his head in a suplex.
"Atomic Ray!" Hi-Andromon shouts as he puts his hands together and fires a red and blue beam from them hitting Dex and causing him to be discomforted by the attack.
"Hi-Andromon let's go, I got them now make a break for it!" WarGreymon shouted, carrying Izzy in his hand and Starflight over his shoulder.
"Right, make sure Starflight is ok. I detect that Izzy is still alive and un injured, however Starflights heart beat is slowing. He needs aid fast." Hi-Andromon said as Dex tried to hit him with a tail slap only to be held off by Hi-Andromon's twin batons Copy & Paste. "Now!"
"Horn Buster Kai!" HerakleKabuterimon shouts, shooting an orange beam at Dex's head knocking him over.
"Now we bolt!" HerakleKabuterimon shouts, turning back into Tentomon and flying off in the direction that WarGreymon was flying off in.
"Affirmative." Hagurumon says following him.
As the digimon fly away Dex gets up off the ground furious at this loss. "Damn you kid and your stupid digimon this will not be forgoten, and you won't forget it either." Dex thought as he flew off into his den where ChaosDukemon and Demon were waiting for him. "You two get the Digitama ready, it's time for a swarm." He said sitting in the makeshift throne that he made out of stone.
"Yes master." They both say as they move farther in the moving castle until they come into a room that looks like a staging area for VTOL's to launch.
"Demon, let's wake up the troops." ChaosDukemon says as Demon flips a switch causing all the eggs to hatch into hundreds of DexDORUGreymon.
After the flight to the hiding spot the gang was waiting for the digimon to return with Starflight put on a bed of leaves and being healed by Loutusmon. "How is the master?" Hagurumon asked.
"He is fine, just a fractured leg nothing that affects his flying that much." Loutusmon says as Glory adds on.
"He should be fine in an hour thanks to Loustusmon's help." Glory says trying to comfort the machine.
"WHA-" Starshot starts to shout before the beeping of his digivice alerts him to the danger.
"Congratulations, your Digitama has hatched!" It keeps replaying over and over with the audio overlapping causing a discomforting sound to the rest for about three minutes then it goes dead silent. "Show location of Digimon?" the digivice asks as the group looks at Starshot.
"What could that have been?" Tsunami asks with Izzy not far behind.
"Well I think I have found out what it means. Look outside to the east." Izzy says as a Cloud of black and red flies into the sky.
"That can't be." Starshot says as the cloud starts to move in all directions.
"Can confirm at least two hundred no six hundred hostiles." Commandramon said with Hagurumon chiming in with a robotic tone.
"DexDORUGreymon." Hagurumon said, sounding not at all worried.
"How the only way to make a Digitama is with a reborn digicore." Gazimon says with the rest of the digimon agreeing with him.
"What if they don't have one?" Starshot asks as they think.
"That's a possibility considering DexDORUgoramon's would be fading very right about now." Tentomon said as Izzy sat looking at things on his laptop.
"There I found something on it from Gennai he said that DexDORUgoramon's digicores, and by the extensions the whole Dex line of digimon are gone they never had one but the body refuses to die so it keeps moving. Starshot your partner has been dead for a while but he can't be reborn till the body is destroyed." Izzy says as Starshot's eyes start to water.
"Good going Izzy now when we destroy him we don't have to feel bad about it." Matt, and Sunny say as the group looks at them with no.
"Yeah that helps with the feeling." Starshot said as the Crest of Unity flashed slightly to the comment.
"Dion, I think we go to the south, it's the only direction they are not searching right now." Commandramon says as Tai bursts in.
"I think we split up into groups of two so that way they have to find us all and we can encircle Dex's position." Tai says as everyone looks in amazement at Tai's planning.
"That would be fine if there were not an odd number of people." Sora says as Sunny starts a thought.
"How about we have Starshot go between the groups as he is what Dex is looking for." Sunny says as the group thinks about it.
"Starshot didn't you have something to get you back into the real world?" Starflight asks now standing on his feet.
"Yeah but the thing is they would be able to follow me if I go off there." Starshot says with Izzy starting to think.
"What if I code our digivices to all show the same frequency wouldn't that make it harder to find you?" Izzy says with Tentomon buzzing in the back.
"That might actually work here, let me try to break the firewall." Hagurumon says as he moves his gears to try and hack the digivice.
"Ok as he does that the rest of us pick groups and let's go cause some havoc on Dex." Matt says with Tsunami agreeing.
"Ok Pair up by crest so that way the groups are somewhat even." Clay said as the groups came together being Dion and Clay, Tsunami and Joe, Sora and Sunny, Glory and Mimi, Izzy and Starflight, Matt and T.K, and finally Tai and Kari.
"I'm going to start with Dion and Clay if you guys don't mind." Starshot says as they nod and start to leave under the cover of darkness.
"Clay I say we head for the north side of the hive." Dion says as they walk through the forest.
"Yeah but before we do we should have our digimon out in case something shows up." Clay says as he agrees to the northern route.
"Clay I can feel some digimon up ahead, none of them Dex's clones." Gazimon says as the group slows down to see a man and woman in front of them.
"Who are you?" Dion says as Commandramon ready's his M16.
"I'm Kris." The man says, wearing a blue suit with a bow.
"I'm Lily." The woman was wearing a red dress with purple stripes and had blue hair.
"Who are you really?!" Commandramon said holding his M16 in firing position.
"We told you who we are, little one." Lily says with Kris nodding his head.
"Don't believe them something is off about them Clay." Gazimon says as he materializes.
