"So where are you kids going?" Lily asked as they started walking with the dragonets signaling for Dion to hop on one of their backs.
"Away from here!" Starshot says as he jumps up and spreads his wings only to get caught in a web that only now appeared in the light.
"Nope you will stay here forever!" Lily says starting to grow and shift her body gaining an abdomen and another two pairs of legs.
"Right." her cohort says as he unveils a massive blaster about the size of the dragonets. Both ripping their clothes off to unveil the digimon beneath.
"Yep I was right Mummymon and Archnemon." Commandramon says as Starshot starts to struggle and get cut by the sharp silk that's holding him in place.
"I would not move. less you want your head to roll off that neck of yours." Archnemon says before putting her finger on one of the strings making the piece of thread around Starshot's neck cut him a little bit
"Let him go now! Clay says as his digivice glows a bright orange and GrapLeomon who had warp digivolved to fight the situation.
"Commandramon weapons free!" Dion shouts as Commandramon warps to the ultimate form Tankdramon thinking that the force of Darkdramon was not needed.
"Oh a fight is what you want ok then." Mummymon says as he starts to fire his blaster only to be met with the shots of Tankdramon. "Not bad but can you handle me up close?" Mummymon questions as he grabs onto the tank digimon which was about the size of clay, and pulls himself into the digimon's stomach before firing his gun again.
"Cyclone Turbine!" GrapLeomon shouts, kicking Mummymon away from Tankdramon who starts to fire on the mummy using his GAU-19 miniguns.
"A little help would be nice." Mummymon says hitting the ground singed and covered with bullet holes.
"Fine then I'll step in." Archnemon says as she lets the silk go and moves towards the threat. "Peditation Spider!" She shouts letting about ten DoKugumon out of her abdomen to attack the duo of digimon with her.
"Clay, we might need to step in as well." Dion said pulling an airsoft M1911 and putting a mag into it.
"Dion just stayed behind me ok." Clay said smoke was being exhaled from his mouth as he spoke.
"Guys not to be the bearer of bad news but guess who heard the noise!" Starshot shouts as a flock of DexDorugreymon start to hone in on their position.
"Tankdramon time to knock it off with the games we have more hostels inbound." Dion says on his digivice like a radio.
"Ruagh! Tankdramon Digivolve to!" Tankdramon shouts as he shrinks, and slims down with his treads moving up to his arms to make his cannon and the rest of his dense blue armor with yellow stripes in it. His scaly blue body covered in the metal and his yellow eyes glowing brightly from behind a visor that obscured his face very little.
"Darkdramon!" it shouts grinning and lets out a roar that causes the DoKugumon to recoil.
As Drakdramon was about to start attacking the duo and their pets the soulless DexDorugreymon crash through the ceiling of webs with most being torn to shreds and the data from the dead dragons being transferred to Archemon and Mummymon as they start to digivolve.
Archemon had shrunk in size and sported black clothes as well as a more womanly appearance that caught Dion's eyes. She held two small fans in front of her face with purple eyes that could kill someone with a glance.
Mummymon on the other hand had grown to be above the treeline with his rotting skin turning into stone then sharpening into diamond with crystal gauntlets that fit on hands and arms that were bigger than the body of the digimon.
"Lilithmon!" the woman shouted as her silk disappeared letting Starshot fall to the ground, scales scared and cuts along his body bleeding slightly all around.
"Blastmon!" The giant roared as GrapLeomon came around with a round house only to get blown away by a slap of the giant's hand.
"Clay you have to get GrapLeomon to digivolve or we are done here." Dion says with Darkdramon being blasted back and into a wall by the surprisingly fast Lilithmon.
"Well that's going to be a problem, I don't know how!" Clay shouts as he takes off to avoid a punch from Blastmon. "How did you get Tankdramon to digivolve?" Clay asks as he keeps dodging the attacks.
"By doing what is on my crest of kindness." Dion said, remembering as his crest shattered before Dion had become aware of Darkdramon. Thinking of the name of his crest Clay had started to charge into the fight with Blastmon. "Clay that does not mean throw yourself at the enemy!" Dion shouted as Darkdramon and GrapLeomon rushed from behind him back into battle.
"Clay Get down!" GrapLeomon shouted as the fist of Blastmon came down on them causing them to jump back.
"No here grab on to my arms, I'll fly you up and you can jump on him." Clay said with a nervous nod from the lion.
"That dragon is insane." Dion says as Lilithmon tries to strike Darkdramon only to be shot in the head by the airsoft gun.
"You little." Lilithmon says before being hit with a blast of fire from Starshot.
"Starshot don't be like Clay." Dion says before seeing the smokescreen made by the fire, and a thumbs up from Starshot. "Darkdramon blitz her!" Dion shouts as a roar is let off and a low rumble from the jest is unleashed as Lilithmon is smacked around. "Darkdramon finish her off!" Dion shouts as a massive spike is unveiled from Darkdramon and thrusted forward only to be caught by Blastmon.
"Nice try kid." Blastmon says with Clay, and GrapLeomon in his other hand.
"No!" Dion says as he sees the two caught in the giant's hands.
Just as the two thought about giving up they could hear the shout of the nightwing from behind them. "Clay, Dion, GrapLeomon, Darkdramon I placed my trust in you guys to save me. Even though I don't have a digimon I try to help you guys fight. Even though I'm scared as hell right now I can't give up and neither should you. Clay, don't you want to see that one skywing again?" Starshot said getting up from the ground bleeding, and charging the two digimon only to be slammed against a wall. "Both of you. GET UP AND FIGHT!" Starshot shouts with a following roar that made Clay's mind tick.
"AUGH!" Clay screams before letting out a roar that charged his digivice which now read 'Mega Digivolution'.
"GrapLeomon Digivolve to…" could be heard as the silver metallic armor, and engines turned into a black coat, and pants, sword his mane turning a shining silver, gaining medical tape around his hands and feet,a massive scar covering his chest.
Bancho Leomon!" He shouted, breaking out of Blastmon's grab and slashing at his arm. "Lion King Slash!" He called out as a light covered the word and went straight for Blastmon's face hitting him, and cutting him severely.
"I did not want to do this but. Blastmon, come here!" Lilithmon shouted, tossing Darkdramon aside to meet up with the titan as they touched a deep purple and orange light coming from the two as they started to fuse together.
"N-no way the light." Starshot stuttered before losing all the spirit from earlier.
"Starshot what is it?" Dions said as Starflight collapsed again adrenaline now removed from his body as the light started to come down.
"The orange i-it's the same as my crest of unity it must have activated!." Starshot said thinking back to when the crest started to fuse digimon together.
"You mean you think they have activated it?" Clay asks him, and Bancho Leomon lands next to Dion.
"Yeah but if it goes out of control evenmore we might have a problem." Starshot says as a bolt of electricity lands in front of them.
"So you kids think that this is all a game where you can talk your way to victory!" Lilithmon shouts as she shoots more bolts.
"There on her neck is the crest!" Starshot said as the two digimon launched at the fusion.
"Flashy Boss Punch!" Bacho Leomon shouted, unleashing a fist of white energy that hit the behemoth in the face that was once Blastmon.
"Darkness Roar!" Darkdramon screamed as the attack was shot half aiming for Bancho Leomon.
The crest made a small whir as it glowed a dim orange. "What is that?" Starshot said as a beam shot out of it hitting Darkdramon and Bancho Leomon. "Great not again."
"Bancho Leomon!" The lion shouted as his body vanished leaving just his head.
"Darkdramon!" The cyborg dragon shouted as his body did the same.
"DNA digivolve to!" The two shouted as the two cores swirled around each other attempting to merge before causing an explosion that blinded everyone around them. Once the smoke cleared a being stood in their place one with a cyan scarf around its arms and legs, a red cape flew behind its body that was covered in a pure white armor.
"What the?" Lilithmon said as she looked into the glowing digimon who still radiated a blinding light.
"Chaosmon!" The digimon shouted as a timer appeared on the digivices of Dion and Clay. The timer read 1:30 then started ticking down 1:29, 1:28.
"We have a minute to destroy them?" Clay says with a worried voice.
Chaosmon looked at the two then started to move before disappearing into thin air. Almost as soon as the white knight vanished it had reappeared with a shine from its blade.
"Augh." Lilithmon sputtered out before being turned into data with Blastmon soon following.
"So that is the power of an Ultra digimon." Clay said as his time hit 1:00 "no way that took them thirty seconds." Clay thought to himself as the fight that took almost an hour to get there could have been ended faster by this power.
After standing under the shining light the two cores on Chaosmon had started to split apart eventually turning it into two with those parts being brought down as Gazimon and Commandramon. The two digimon give each other a look before nodding and running up to their tamers.
"So that was Chaosmon." Starshot said in awe of the power displayed.
"Yeah and after that I noticed that he is not so bad even as just a lizard." Gazimon said before falling asleep on Clay's back.
"Whatever Lt." Commandramon said before Dion put him in the digivice to rest.
"Let's get moving before something else tries to kill us." Dion said holstering his airsoft gun.
"Right if we go fast enough we might make it half way there by nightfall." Clay says as Starshot nods and the group walks out to the north towards Dex's fortress.
