Chapter summary 44: The King of Beasts Kaido arrived to complicate matters allying himself with Charlotte Linlin in her war against Uzushiogakure no Sato. Accompanying the Yonko were his flunkies, King, Queen and Jack followed with the return of Munashi and his siblings in full force.
Whitebeard rose to the challenge showing off why he is one of the strongest men to roam the grandline taking on both Kaido and Linlin. Thus began the battle of the three titans as Naruto took on the reinforcements, the 3 All-Star's and the 5 cloaked siblings.
Whitebeard held off the combined might of his fellow Yonko unveiling his newfound battle strength showing that he has not lost his touch. The leader of the Whitebeard pirates bought both his fellow Yonko to a standstill even facing Kaido in his terrifying Dragon form. The battle between these three titans shook and reshaped the landscape but a new challenger has appeared to crush Kaido and claim his title as the New King of Beasts.

Battle Of The Beasts!
For I Am The True King!
"Curse you Whitebeard!" Kaido rumbled as his claws dug into the earth using them to lift himself off the ground. Soil and debris fell from his draconic body as he floated up into the sky.
"I will not be done in by you! I am the Strongest Creature! You are just a man! While I am the King of Beasts!" Kaido spat out in anger spewing fire as lightning flashed past scorching the earth.
"Strongest Creature? I think not you pathetic lizard!" A scornful rumbling intruded as a shadow loomed over Kaido, and an overwhelming killer intent came pouring down. A giant hand came crashing down on the Yonko pushing him back into the earth. The hand was covered in deep orange fur and shaped like a paw with an opposable thumb possessing sharp claws.
A pair of sinister eyes bore down on all as a giant figure towered over Uzu no Kuni.
"The King of Beasts is not a title that belongs to an oversized gecko, like you!"
A beast as big as a mountain stood over the fallen form of Kaido, natural disasters followed in the wake of its nine tails as they swayed. The oceans stirred violently creating monstrous storms. Black storm clouds came rolling in across the sky, thunder boomed, lightning flashed, and the earth was scorched. The wind grew violent as maelstroms descended from the sky and into the ocean. Tornadoes fell around the beast as the earth shook beneath it. The temperature grew as fire covered the sky and meteors streaked across.
"Youko Kurama (Demon Fox Kurama), The Strongest Creature Alive. Such a truly overwhelming presence." Linlin voice shook, and eyes quivered in terror at seeing the towering fox, its form beyond her wildest dreams. She had only seen Kurama on a wanted poster, and until now hadn't truly understood his monstrous size and overwhelming presence.
"Let me show you who the true King of Beasts is!" Kurama said sinisterly, lifting his paw off the ground, debris falling from it revealing a large dragon-shaped indent in the earth.
"If he's here does that mean Otsutsuki Hagoromo is too?" Linlin gulped, growing ever worried. Otsutsuki Hagoromo known as the Strongest Man Alive affectionately referred to as a Natural Disaster, if he was here things would only get worse. The two were already struggling against the combined forces of Whitebeard and Naruto. The pressure would grow with Kurama's appearance, but even more with Hagoromo.
"Youko Kurama, I've been waiting to meet you!" Kaido bellowed angrily from within his crater, and the Titan flew out, his tail destroying the ground around him as he took flight. The two giant beasts locked eyes as a deep enmity sparked between them. Anger flashed through Kaido's draconic hues, this monster had stolen his title as the Strongest Creature and now wanted the title of King of Beasts too.
"I will not have you take away my glory! It is mine alone and no one else's!" Fire rumbled in Kaido's jaw as he opened wide unleashing a stream of searing flames. The tyrannical flames consumed everything in their path as they darted towards Kurama.
The fox snorted, flicking one of his nine tails in response, creating hurricane winds. The wind slammed into the stream of fire creating an overbearing wall absorbing all the impact. The flames grew in size but did not overpower the hurricane; in fact, it fused to become one with Kurama's attack and flew back towards Kaido.
A spark of electricity flashed between Kaido's eyes as lightning poured off his body. An electrical storm came to life, consuming Kaido in black lightning bolts that tore through the incoming fire vortex ripping it apart. Roaring proudly Kaido flew towards Kurama, tail whipping through the air creating gale-force winds. The blow struck, sending Kurama sliding back.
"You dare? You overgrown garden snake! I'll turn you into a dragon skin vest!" Kurama sneered, his legs tensing and he lunged forward. The two giant beasts began their battle, paws and claws slamming together as Kurama stood on his hind legs grappling with the dragon. Electricity sparked in Kaido's draconic hues, black lightning pouring from his scales and encasing Kurama. The Bijuu's fur stood on edge as he released a mighty roar unleashing a fire breath right in Kaido's face. The Bijuu's flames engulfed the dragon as lightning raced across the sky.
Kurama pulled down, dragging Kaido from the skies and slamming him into the earth. The Yonko's giant body rolled across Uzu no Kuni destroying the surroundings and levelling parts of the forest. Kurama gave chase, the fox's massive form struck slamming into the eastern dragon with full force. Kaido's back legs dug into the earth and his upper body wrapped around Kurama. The Bijuu roared as Kaido constricted and bit down onto the dragon's flesh, teeth digging in deep with tails battering against Kaido's scales.
The two beasts rolled across the earth destroying everything in their wake, traversing a great distance and in no time arrived at the gates of Uzushiogakure no Sato. The two creatures collided with the barrier surrounding Uzushio with a loud bang making it shake and quiver as vibrations rippled through it. If it weren't for the barrier, the two would have rolled straight through Uzushio levelling it. The two had destroyed a large section of the south side of Uzu no Kuni, a path of destruction had been created that led from the shoreline all the way inland to the village.
"I better move those two before they destroy the whole island." Said the Sage clapping his hands together and summoning back his Seika-kan Mira (World Viewing Mirror). The mirror flew in the direction of the two battling beast's and grew to such a size it encompassed them. The mirror shimmered as its glass turned to liquid consuming the two beast's sucking them into the world contained inside.
"Now then, warm-ups over. It's time I stopped playing around and get this over with." Naruto tossed his sabre aside, letting it vanish in a puff of smoke. Holding out both hands the Sage created a pair of glistening golden Rasengans and disappeared in a white flash, appearing between Whitebeard and Linlin. The only female member of the Yonko had regained her footing and was met by the Sage suddenly arriving before her. Without a word, the Immortal thrust the two spheres into Linlin's chest and sent her flying across the wasteland that was once beautiful scenery.
"Sorry to intrude Whitebeard, but it's time I settled this conflict personally. I'll deal with Big Mom and the rest of our guests myself." The Sage said eyeing the only female member of the Yonko, watching as his other guests collected themselves.
"I've had my fill. Go ahead, my friend. I look forward to seeing the result." Whitebeard grabbed his bisento, bent his legs and jumped leaping away from the battlefield.
"Confident aren't you, Naruto. That confidence will get you killed!" Munashi spat out as he materialised from space to Linlin's right, yellow hues glaring daggers at the immortal.
"Of course I am. You're in my territory. But I'll give you points for being brave enough to continue facing me, or perhaps it's stupidity; I guess we'll soon find out. I've already shown I'm more than capable of handling you on my own, why should Linlin make any difference? I'd say if you surrendered and left I'd let you go, but that's not going to happen. I hope you have all resigned for yourself to die because you won't leave my island alive!" Naruto spoke in a matter of fact town as he eyed the cloaked individual. Movement caught the Sage's eye as Munashi's siblings began to surround him, shortly accompanied by Queen and King. Jack was out cold and unable to join the upcoming skirmish.
"It is you who'll die and at my feet followed by the rest of your people! I'll take my time skinning them alive one by one!" Linlin shouted back a crazy gleam twinkling in her hues as she steadied herself, using Napoleon as a cane to steady her balance.
In order Linlin stood right in front of Naruto, Munashi to her right followed by the one in yellow, Akuhei the giant three-headed draconic beast, the one in blue Isolda, Tasatsu, Queen and lastly King who stood to Linlin's left. A loud bone-chilling roar drew Naruto's attention, eyes locking onto the lower half of the nightmare beast Isolda had summoned. The beast's exposed organs bubbled as it began to regenerate rapidly restoring to full fighting capacity. A hallowing bellow escaped its deadly jaws as it leapt up into the air pouncing towards the Immortal.
Naruto turned reaching out with his right hand to grab the beast by its neck ignoring its limbs as they pierced through his body. Three sickle-like blades pierced through his back and out his chest, as eight katana like claws embedded themselves into his sides.
"Go back to where you came from. Shakuton: Rasengan (Scorch Release: Spiralling Sphere)!" Heat was pouring out from Naruto's left hand as a scorching bright sun formed becoming covered in a layer of spiralling red chakra. The heat could be felt by all as the beast roared out in pain its body shrivelling up as Naruto slammed the sphere into its chest. Smoke could be seen spilling out from the point of impact as ash fell to the ground. The beast burst into flames, releasing an agonising scream before silence. The beast disintegrated into a pile of ash that lay at Naruto's feet.
Naruto calmly turned back to Linlin and Munashi, wisps of golden chakra flickering from the holes in his body. The intruders could see right through the Sage, not an organ in sight only golden tendrils of chakra. The wisps of life essence knitted back together regenerating the Sage.
"So the reports weren't false. You are completely made of chakra." Munashi showed no surprise to the sight laid out before him.
"Surprise," Naruto said in a bland tone.
"It makes no difference what you're made of. I'll still kill you!" Linlin bellowed flying forward on Zeus and swinging Napoleon covered in Prometheus's flames.
"Foolish woman!" Munashi sneered under his hood watching Linlin foolishly charge in; the woman was all fat and no brains.
Golden chakra encased the Sage's body in a shimmering aura as he intercepted the incoming sword with the palm of his right hand. Flames licked at the air engulfing the Sage attempting to burn him to ash but to no avail. Snorting in amusement Naruto gripped the homie and applied pressure making it scream out in agonising pain.
"Fuuton: Rasengan!"
Naruto summoned a spiralling sphere in his right hand in the shape of a shuriken. The Sage slammed the shuriken sphere into Big Mom's giant torso. Blood sprayed through the air as the mini blades of wind sliced deep into Big Mom's flesh and sent her careening backwards. The force of the blow knocked her off of Zeus leaving the homie to Naruto's mercy. A pair of golden chakra hands sprouted from the Immortal's back, slamming their palms down onto Zeus's cloud body pulverising the homie into the ground.
"These strange beings you have are interesting. I might take them for myself." Naruto commented half-heartedly as his golden chakra limbs picked Zeus up and held him firmly in the air. Fingers looped around the homie forming a golden chakra cage. Zeus slammed against the cage releasing a violent electrical storm but was unable to break free.
Reaching out into the air, Naruto's hand entered into a separate space before pulling out a plain old sandy brown sake gourd. The gourd had no distinct features other than the navy blue rope tied around its handle and dark brown cork. The Sage removed the cork of the gourd and immediately tendrils of greenish-blue chakra began pouring out from within.
A shiver went through everyone's spine as they all found themselves taking a step back. Zeus stared at the gourd in terror his very essence screaming out in fear. Linlin, who had recovered, felt like she wanted to flee to the deepest depths of the Grandline to get away from the gourd, her very soul was screaming out to do so. Napoleon and Prometheus too couldn't help but shiver as terror overcame them.
A powerful suction force hit Zeus and began pulling not only him but his cage towards the gourd. The greenish-blue tendrils of chakra transformed into ghostly hands that reached out to the homie. Wrapping around Zeus's body the ghostly hands sank into his body latching onto his very soul.
"No! Let go! Let go! Stop! I don't want to go in there!" Zeus was screaming incoherently trying to fly away but was unable to break free. The gourd began pulling harder slowly drawing in bits of the living cloud; a horrifying look spread across the homies face.
"NOOO!" Linlin screamed and immediately flew towards the Sage attempting to stop the sealing of her beloved homie. Naruto gave the woman one look before sprouting four long golden chakra arms from his back. The arms shot towards the woman transforming into four centipede-like tails. The offending limbs bashed against the woman's blade as she swung it like crazy attempting to breakthrough, but the two pairs of limbs showed no mercy and kept her at bay.
"Go!" Munashi commanded to the others and immediately sped into action, if Zeus was lost their chances of winning would drop exponentially. King and Queen in their transformed states began a wild charge stampeding towards the offending limbs to aid Linlin. King flew in at such speed his entire body was covered in flames. Slamming head-on into one of the limbs, King was battered aside with very little effort. Another limb lashed out toward the stampeding Queen, coiling around the All-star's massive body and threw him aside like garbage.
Munashi materialised from space right in front of the Sage but immediately came to regret it. The cloaked figure felt a suction force drawing him into the gourd, pulling at his coattails. A look of fear could be seen in his yellow hues, and he quickly stepped into space to avoid being drawn into the gourd.
Tree roots broke out from the ground beneath the Immortal only to be grabbed by ghostly hands of chakra and pulled into the gourd. The roots immediately broke off and burrowed back into the ground, blood dyeing the dirt in red. Flashes of yellow light flew past the Sage; particles were drawn into the gourd as the yellow jumpsuit woman appeared behind him, a pair of light particle longswords in her hands. Without hesitation the woman stabbed forward intending to run Naruto through. The Sage stood there and allowed the blades to run him through showing not a shred of pain. A pair of sharp red knives followed piercing into the Sage's shoulders all the way to the hilts.
The earth shook as Akuhei came storming from the right, the three heads roaring loudly as they unleashed a noxious breath. Three streams of toxic gas came spewing towards the Sage only to merge into one. Snorting in amusement, Naruto's eyes glowed as a repulsive force came pouring out.
"Shinra Tensei!" The ground was torn apart as the repulsive force slammed into the three-headed monster and sent them flying back.
With the nuisances dealt with the suction force coming from the gourd grew in intensity. With one final scream, Zeus was sucked inside as the cork was placed back into the top. Linlin felt a sharp pain in her heart, like thousands of daggers piercing her at once and fell onto her knees spewing up a wad of blood.
"What in the world was that!" Munashi couldn't help but bark out, his voice shaking as he couldn't help but eye the plain-looking gourd in terror.
"Another one of my many treasures. The Reifu Hyoutan (Soul Sealing Gourd), with this in my possession no soul is safe!"
"Not that they were safe, to begin with." Naruto couldn't help but remark within the confines of his thoughts.
Lifting the gourd, Naruto put it on display where it became transparent for all to see. Inside they could see Zeus frantically slamming against the walls of the gourd trying to break free only to be restrained by countless ghostly hands. Attaching the gourd to his hip, Naruto focused on his remaining opponents, before looking directly at Linlin who was being occupied by his golden chakra limbs.
"One down, two to go. Then it's your turn, Linlin" The Sage revealed a sinister smile and kicked off shooting towards Linlin. King and Queen returned to the Yonko's side turning back to their human forms but stopped in their hybrid modes. King had a long sharp beak with razor-sharp claws, his wings coated in feathers with sharp leathery ends. Queen's neck was elongated appearing as a humanoid brachiosaurus. With humanoid hands the two gripped their swords and attacked.
"Fools regroup!" Munashi barked out, but his words fell on deaf ears.
"Fruitless!" Retracting the four centipede-like limbs back into his body the Sage charged up two ordinary Rasengans. Disappearing in a flash of white the Immortal appeared right in front of the two-hybrid zoans, slamming the Rasengans into their torsos. The Rasengans suddenly grew in size dwarfing the two All-Star's and sent them blasting back across the wasteland. The resilience granted to them from their devil fruits ensured their survival leaving them with mutilating scars across their bodies. Blood dripped to the ground as the two Zoan's rested in craters, still breathing and conscious.
"Resilient, I'll give you that. But just how long can that resilience keep you alive?" Naruto said commenting on the two's endurance to stay conscious despite the pained expressions on their faces.
Continuing his advance, Naruto closed in on Linlin only to be blocked by Munashi and his sibling in yellow. The one in yellow held out their hands, creating a giant golden mirror that flashed. Thousands of light beams came pouring out from the mirror raining towards the Immortal. Munashi opened up his cloak revealing nothing but darkness as space was compressed and thousands of shards of pure space flew out.
"Useless!" Naruto's left arm lost its human flesh turning into a golden limb of chakra. The golden limb struck slamming into the oncoming assault of light and space, shattering them into nothing. Naruto was no longer playing around and was getting semi-serious.
"Die!"
"Perish!"
"Melt!"
Akuhei's three heads roared out as she expelled another toxic breath stream. The stream this time was aimed at the ground around the immortal. Everything was melted as a noxious swamp of toxic liquid was created. The swamp surrounded the Sage and was rapidly closing in intending to swallow him whole.
Akuhei came stampeding through the swamp un-affected by the toxins contained inside. The three heads rumbled as they bit down on the Sage. Naruto reached out with both hands latching onto the lower jaws of the two side heads as the main head, the middle one bit down on his right shoulder. Teeth buried to the base as the massive head latched on. A noxious purple gas wafted into the air as Akuhei's acidic bite and saliva began burning into the Sage's body.
"Rip him to pieces!" The right head bellowed out as it snapped at the Sage trying to break free of his ironclad grip.
"Melt him down!" The left was screeching like a harpy, its voice grating to the ears.
A pair of razor-sharp claws pierced through the Immortal's torso and out his back, wisps of golden chakra circulating the offending talons.
Naruto looked at the rampaging beast, eyeing it as a nuisance. A golden limb of chakra could be seen growing out from his back charging up a lone golden Rasengan in its palm. The golden orb grew until it easily dwarfed the three-headed beast, creating a shadow that blanketed the monster.
"Those extra heads must be a headache, let me get rid of them for you! Cho choodama Rasengandan (Super-Ultra-Big Ball Spiralling Sphere Bomb)!" The golden limb thrust the giant Rasengan down slamming it onto Akuhei's giant body catching the two side heads in its mass. The middle head released the immortal taking a large chunk of his shoulder with her. Releasing a screeching roar from the pain, Akuhei flew back as the Rasengan's momentum carried her away. Blood and scales flew through the air as large chunks of flesh were ripped from her monstrous body.
The Rasengan carved a deep trench through the earth as it blasted the draconic beast away. The Rasengan grew in size growing continuously as it travelled. The woman in yellow flashed out of the way as Munashi retreated into space, but Big Mom wasn't so lucky. The sphere slammed into Linlin dragging her away with Akuhei taking both of them out together. The sphere grew to encompass Big Mom and detonated with the explosive force of a weaker Bijuudama.
The dome expanded destroying everything it touched and forcing the cloaked individuals to retreat. Munashi appeared by King and Queen, collecting them and escaped back into space. The one in yellow flashed over by Jack, grabbed the massive man and disappeared to safety as the dome encompassed where they once were. The gale-force winds generated blew the Queen Mama Carter out to sea.
The dome expanded soon reaching back to its creator threatening to engulf him. Naruto placed his right palm against the expanding dome and forcibly brought it to a halt. "Collapse!" With a single command, the dome shook before it began to collapse in on itself and imploded, leaving a giant crater behind.
At the bottom was Linlin looking worse for wear, blood spewing out off numerous gashes over her entire body. The woman was a mess drenched from head to toe, flesh ripped and burned away making her look like a walking corpse. Akuhei was no better the three-headed beast now only had one head, the middle, while her body was bleeding profusely from multiple pours. The right and left head were torn to shreds, leaving only the base of her neck that was bleeding like a waterfall. A large pool of blood filled the bottom of the crater. Heavy acidic steam wafted into the air from the massive pool.
Akuhei's body shook as she climbed to her feet, struggling as scales fell off in droves. The middle head looked up in righteous fury, glaring daggers at the Sage.
"You'll pay for that! I'll melt you down into slush!" A thick purple mist came rolling off the woman's monstrous form as toxic gas bubbled from her wounds. Flesh and scales rapidly regrew as the two fallen necks rose up and began to regenerate, only to suddenly split. The two necks turned into four as new heads took their place releasing unearthly roars in unison.
"Hoh? Rip off one head, two more grow back, fascinating. I wonder how many heads can you spawn? I want to dissect you to see what makes you tick." Naruto couldn't help but lick his lips in an Orochimaru like manner. The piece he had absorbed from the snake freak was rising to the surface as the Sage was eager to sate his curiosity about this unique creature before him.
"Isolda now!" Munashi barked out while stepping out from the void. The woman in blue cloak, Isolda nodded and quickly opened up her third eye once more. Darkness started encroaching into the iris of her eye, turning it pitch black. Unearthly cries escaped the eye as a surge of nightmarish beast's began to emerge.
"Akumu Koushin (Nightmare Parade)!" One hundred nightmarish beasts emerged into the daylight each more vicious than the last. Some were small other's towering giants; one had a centipede-like appearance with an old man growing out from the forehead. It was a horrifying mass that was making its way towards the Immortal Sage.
"I don't know what you are, but I don't particularly care, you're just an eyesore. So go back to whence you came." Speaking calmly, Naruto held up his right hand creating a larger than normal Rasengan sphere. The sphere swelled up as a golden aura surrounded it. Tendrils of chakra floated off into the air around the lone sphere shaping themselves into nine smaller Rasengans each orbiting around the larger sphere like planets revolving around the sun.
"Taiyou Rasengan (Solar [Sun] Spiraling Sphere)!" The Sage then threw the orbiting Rasengan launching it towards the oncoming army of nightmarish beasts. The nine orbiting Rasengans picked up speed turning into golden blurs completely encircling the larger Rasengan. The spheres ploughed through the first nightmare heading straight into the middle of the mass of creatures. A powerful gravitational pull pulsed from the centre of the larger sphere and began pulling in the nightmares. The creatures released hallowing unearthly screams as they were being pulled in.
The rasengans shredded the beasts pulverising and grinding them into dust before expanding out and exploding violently. The middle sphere encompassed the other nine and grew tremendously consuming all one hundred nightmares. The area was levelled creating a second crater as the beasts were wiped out as quickly as they arrived.
"Time to get rid of the weak link," Naruto remarked as he flicked his wrists summoning a pair of kunai knives and threw them towards the woman named Isolda. The kunai went up in smoke rapidly multiplying until they numbered one thousand.
Munashi transported himself in front of his sister and opened the void inside his cloak, releasing a strong gravitational pull creating a black hole to suck in the incoming kunai. Smoke engulfed the knives transforming them into one thousand copies of the Uzukage each creating a Rasengan sphere in their hands.
Reversing the black hole, Munashi manipulated and compressed space turning it into one thousand black blades. The blades cascaded through the air impaling the incoming clones piercing through their bodies, making them disappear in clouds of smoke. The clones created a thick blanket of smoke blocking Munashi's vision catching him off guard as Naruto fell through the smoke a blade through his torso and two rasengans in hand.
"Jikukan Rasengan (Space-Time Spiralling Sphere)!" The spheres glistened with a shade of black as distorted the surrounding space and were slammed into Munashi's torso. The Rasengans tore space apart becoming stained in black blood dying them in the colour of darkness as the momentum sent Munashi careening back, blasting him into his sister. The two cloaked figures were launched off their feet and shot across the wasteland collapsing into a heap hundreds of metres away leaving behind a deep trench.
Munashi in the distance struggled to his feet, blood pouring onto the ground staining it black.
"Well, that's unsettling. I've seen my share of freaks, but you are the freakiest of them all." Naruto's eyes narrowed as he caught sight of Munashi's true body.
The being in the black hood stumbled, the hood had been torn down revealing a black humanoid shape that was comprised of nothing but the black void of space with two yellow eyes floating in the centre of the emptiness. The cloak was in tatters exposing its fibres to be made of flesh and muscle as the fabric itself bled. The sleeve of the left side was completely torn exposing a rotting arm that connected to an empty void as blood dripped down from the shoulder piece of the cloak. The cloak began to quiver, as the piece covering Munashi's chest opened up turning into razor-sharp fangs releasing an unearthly screech of pain.
"I'll kill you, kill you!" The gaping mouth screeched as a long decaying tongue lashed out from a mass of darkness between those razor-sharp fangs. Violent sonic waves erupted from the mouth ripping the surrounding earth apart.
"That's just wrong, on so many levels," Naruto remarked at the unsettling sight before his eyes, he knew something was off about the one called Munashi, but it seemed the cloak he wore was his true body.
Space crackled and trembled, buildings collapsed as the terrain was changed as two colossal beasts rampaged. A giant nine-tailed fox howled as its tails wrapped around a large eastern dragon. The two titans roared and continued their battle for dominance, rampaging inside the inner dimension of the Sekai-Kan Mira. The inner dimension that took the appearance of a large city with towering skyscrapers and paved roads was now a mess of collapsed buildings and debris. The two beasts towered over the majority of the buildings and easily decimated them in their conflict.
Opening his mouth, Kurama charged up a ball of dark chakra gathering positive and negative together into one. "Bijuudama!" Closing down on the sphere, Kurama crushed it and fired a beam of raw energy. The Bijuudama annihilated everything in its path, leaving nothing behind.
"Kokyuu no Hametsu (Breath of Destruction)!" Kaido retaliated against the incoming beam, taking a deep breath gathering lightning and fire as one inside his powerful jaws. Unleashing a mighty roar, a concentrated beam of fire coated in lightning came pouring out meeting the Bijuudama head-on.
The two beams met head-on slamming into one another. Fire and lightning pierced the void destroying their surroundings as chakra went wild lashing out and forming cracks in the air. The wind whipped up violently with such force it tore buildings up out of their foundation. The three forces joined together expanding into a dome of destruction that levelled all in its path, creating a colossal crater over hundreds of metres in size.
"You have some strength, cub but give up. You are no match for me. You are thousands of years too young to even contend against me! I am Kurama the Strongest of the Bijuu!" Kurama roared proudly his nine tails swaying behind him reflecting his arrogance. Kurama had a right to be arrogant, in this entire world, there was only one alive who possessed the power to defeat him, and that was Naruto. If all of Kurama's siblings ganged up on him, then they could possibly win, but chances are it would end in a draw. There was a reason Kurama was the strongest amongst the tailed beasts, and in these past six thousand years he had not slacked off, only growing stronger with time.
"I am the one and true King of Beasts! I shall take your head as my trophy and show the world my might! Soon, none will remember the name Youko Kurama! You'll be just a footnote to my greatness!" Kaido bellowed as clouds began rolling off his body. Lightning flashed amongst the clouds as rain began to fall and the wind grew violent once more. A storm started rolling in covering the entire dimension as darkness swept across.
"Try it you newt. I'll squash you beneath my paw." Kurama rebuked giving off a toothy grin revealing rows of razor-sharp fangs.
Bounding forward, Kaido flew towards Kurama intending to meet the fox head-on. Snorting in amusement, Kurama raised himself onto his hind legs and intercepted the incoming dragon locking claws with him. Kurama wrapped his tails around the Dragon gaining the advantage and slammed him into the ground knocking Kaido through multiple buildings and making them topple down onto the Yonko covering him in rubble.
A roar bellowed as crimson flames came pouring out of the cracks reducing the debris and surrounding buildings to molten ash. Kaido flew up into the sky, lightning rolling off his body as his eyes shimmered. Fire gathered in his jaws before spewing down manifesting in the form of a gigantic wall of fire.
Kurama swung his tails into the wall's path, creating his own wall of fire and colliding it with Kaido's, the two walls melting their surroundings on impact. A great heat swept through the dimension making buildings begin to lean as steel was melted. The ground shook as molten pillars burst through terra firma creating magnificent geysers.
"Let me show you the true might of a King!" Kaido flew among the clouds; lightning began gathering around his body as the storm turned violent growing in size. Black bolts of lightning descended assaulting Kurama from all directions. Lightning danced across the Bijuu's fur making it stand on edge, but the fox showed no signs of pain or worry.
"Just a fancy light show. It's nothing special, oh Mighty One True King." Kurama said sarcastically in a mocking tone while swishing his tails, creating a strong gust of wind blowing the storm away. The clouds dissipated, revealing Kaido flying in the sky above cloaked in black lightning.
"I will show you the power of the Dragon! I'll show you why we are the strongest race and are the only ones deserving of the title King of Beasts!"
Kaido began drawing the black lightning into his mouth, mixing it with his belly fire. The flames were swallowed whole by the black lightning, creating a new monstrosity of black flames and lightning. The twin elements intermingled becoming one as Kaido fed them to one another, each source consuming the other to grow stronger, but ultimately coming to a balance.
"Kokyuu no Kaimetsu (Breath of Annihilation)!" Without another word, Kaido expelled a long dragon breath of black fire and lightning. The beam sailed on striking Kurama dead in the chest knocking the nine-tailed fox back, sending him careening through building after building. The beam decimated everything in its path leaving no stone unchecked. Carving a deep trench through the ground, Kurama was sent flying hundreds of metres away as the beam's momentum pushed him back.
"Good effort, but not good enough." With an arrogant smirk, Kurama planted his feet into the ground and came to an abrupt halt the beam unable to push him any further. Roaring proudly the Bijuu unleashed a violent burst of chakra. Corrosive crimson chakra was pouring out from the Bijuu's body, dissolving his surroundings and pushing the beam back. Gathering chakra into his jaws, Kurama combined positive and negative chakra.
Kurama began altering the ratio of 8:2 positive black to negative white chakra bringing the ratio to 5:5 creating an equal balance. The ground collapsed in on itself as the colours of the world began to inverse themselves around the fox. Space became distorted as cracks started forming in the Seika-Kan Mira's glass.
"Bijuudama!" The sphere compressed and erupted transforming into a light grey beam of pure positive and negative chakra. Sailing forward, it broke free of the corrosive barrier, colliding with Kaido's attack. The altered Bijuudama tore through the beam of black fire and lightning only to absorb the two elements into its body becoming even stronger. The beam struck true, slamming into Kaido's head. Roaring in agony the beam detonated consuming Kaido in a dome of chakra that kept expanding before reaching its breaking point.
The dome started shrinking, imploding in on itself for an even more devastating effect. A suction force was created pulling in the buildings and debris tearing the city apart. It was like a black hole devouring everything until it devoured the entire world. The black hole like force shrunk in on itself until it devoured itself, leaving behind a crater three times Kurama's current size. Lying down in its depths was Kaido his dragon body looking worse for wear.
Lifting himself off the ground an upper horn fell to the ground with a thud; blood was pouring like a waterfall. Scales were falling from Kaido's body; his left eye closed blood sprouting from it. His entire left arm gone, completely removed at the base and had scorched over from the beams attack leaving only a stump. Kaido looked a mess, over sixty percent of his scales had been destroyed, revealing the tender meat beneath, scorch marks now covered him from head to tail.
"Hooo so you survived. I'm somewhat impressed. I wonder, are you all out of tricks now? Or do you have anything else up your metaphorical sleeves?" Kurama couldn't help but comment as Kaido survived his experimental technique. The fox had been working to alter the ratios to an equal level for some time now, and this was his first time using it in combat, the results were beyond expectation.
"I...I won't be defeated!" Kaido's body began to shrink down returning to his humanoid form. Falling to his knees, Kaido's remaining hand dug into the ground his body covered in blood.
"I am a King"
Unleashing a draconic roar, Kaido's body began to expand once more quickly growing crimson scale over his arms as his body morphed into his hybrid mode. However he continued expanding growing to tremendous height reaching a level equal to Kurama's current standing. The lone remaining horn on Kaido's head grew more pronounced and devil-like, instead of branch-like. Scales turned a deep shade of red as did his skin. Limbs started bulking up as muscles became more pronounced. Canines grew in his mouth growing to ridiculous size, becoming more pronounced. A set of tusks grew out from each side of his mouth and curved up like a bull. A slit parted on his forehead revealing a third demonic-looking eye.
Kaido released a bellowing roar and leapt up out of the crater and landed on the edge. Eyes glowed a demonic red before the Yonko began charging towards Kurama, right shoulder pointed to the beast.
"That's new." Kurama readied himself as Kaido came barreling into him with a powerful shoulder barge making the ground tremble. The force behind the bull rush caught Kurama off guard, and he slid back a few metres.
"Stronger than before, what a surprise." The Bijuu's eyes narrowed dangerously; he hadn't been expecting Kaido's strength to suddenly rise; this new form was not only larger but surprisingly stronger.
A meaty red hand palmed out towards Kurama intending to wrap around his throat. Reacting the fox bounded back narrowly avoiding the hand, Kaido's speed had seen a boost as well, but it wasn't like the Bijuu couldn't handle it.
Kurama's tails moved slamming against the Yonko's giant frame tossing him aside. Bounding forward, Kurama closed the distance and bit down mercilessly into Kaido's right shoulder, claws digging into his sides drawing blood. Tearing away, Kurama tore off a large chunk of the man's right shoulder, leaving a large hole.
Kaido roared angrily slamming his fist down onto Kurama's head without any effect. Spitting out the chunk of flesh, Kurama tore out his claws, blood spilling to the ground as his nails were stained red. A meaty fist slammed into Kurama's jaw, knocking him back, but he held his ground. Without hesitation he unleashed a stream of fire scorching Kaido's torso, making him stumble back. Another powerful fist struck, lightning crackling around it. The lightning scorched Kurama's fur as it exploded at the point of impact knocking him away.
Giving a bellowing demonic roar, Kaido's entire body was encased in black lightning with hints of red to it. Charging forward the giant beast moved with increasing speed and bull-rushed Kurama slamming head-on into him. Kurama reared back on his hind legs and slammed his giant paws onto Kaido's shoulders. The ground was torn up as Kaido pushed Kurama back slowly before the fox came to a halt. Claws dug into red skin drawing blood as Kurama pushed Kaido down slamming him into the ground.
Keeping a grip on the Yonko, Kurama picked him up and spun around throwing Kaido across the inner dimension, sending him cascading through countless buildings and knocking them down one after the other.
Naruto stepped back avoiding a barrage of black swords as they pierced the ground in front of him and broke into pieces of space. Munashi's coattails flew out to the sides as the cloak opened up, revealing a dark void as the mouthpiece widened. A strong gravitational pull was expelled causing the ground to collapse as gravity began to rapidly increase. The size of the gravitational field continued growing soon reaching the Sage. The strong pull of gravity wished to pull the Immortal down and crush him as it grew exponentially to inhuman levels. Anyone else would have been flattened or suppressed under the powerful field, except a few.
Particles of light pierced through the gravitational field creating thousands of light blades that hovered in the air around the Sage. With a command, the light swords began raining down piercing into Naruto's body from every direction. A strong repulsive force erupted from the Sage's body blowing the swords away as he began counteracting the gravitational field causing it to dissipate.
"BURN!"
The roaring of flames echoed as Linlin had regained her bearings and attacked with full force, hair flowing wildly as they were engulfed in flames. Swinging Napoleon, the woman transformed the sword into a large broadsword. The flaming sword met Naruto's open right palm as he took the attack head-on, blocking it with ease. Gripping the homie, Naruto pulledhard and removed it from her grip, while charging a Rasengan in his left hand and thrusting it into her torso blowing her back.
A golden chakra hand retrieved Naruto's sealing gourd from his hip and uncorked it. A powerful suction force came pouring out, pulling the sword against its will. Naruto drowned out its pleas and cries for mercy as the sword homie was sucked into the gourd joining its brother Zeus inside.
"Two down, one left." Aiming the gourd, Naruto drew it towards Prometheus attached to Linlin's hair. Hands of chakra flew out from the gourd heading straight towards the Yonko. The hands pierced through her body and latched onto Prometheus who had attached himself to her hair. Screaming in pain Linlin felt like a part of herself was being torn apart as the hands drew out Prometheus.
"No leave me alone!" Heat came pouring out from Prometheus's body as it tried to burn away the hands but to no effect. The hands only seemed to be fueled by the flames and began wrapping around the sun's body creating a cage. Prometheus was drawn into the gourd as he screamed, unable to break free. Soon he was silenced as he was sucked inside. Once the sealing was complete, Naruto recorked the gourd placing it back on his hip.
"My homies." Linlin fell to her knees; it was like a part of herself had been removed; she felt lonely as sadness swelled inside.
"Don't worry; you'll soon join them." Naruto dashed forward, closing the distance between himself and Linlin as a look of despair overcame her. Soon a powerful force began rolling off her body; a thick murderous intent rose into the air as the woman's hair whipped about violently.
"GIVE THEM BACK!" Linlin shrieked like a child as a powerful pink shockwave burst forth from the confines of her body. Powerful soul energy slammed against the Immortal knocking him backwards. Ripples of soul energy were flowing out of Linlin like a dam had broken forth. A tidal wave of energy began consuming Uzu no Kuni making the surrounding ocean churn violently. A conqueror's will surged as bolts of black lightning began pouring off Linlin's body and covering the island.
"Trying to make my ears bleed?" The Sage asked while covering his ears from the shriek; it was like nails on a chalkboard.
"DIE!" Linlin's shrieking grew to inhuman levels as Busoshaki Haki coated her arms, a flame-like pattern ending around her elbows. Charging forward, Linlin recklessly attacked, closing the distance and unleashing a volley of punches transforming them into a hellstorm of blows. Each punch made gale force winds that blew so strong they tore up the surroundings, blowing debris everywhere.
"Allowing your rage to overcome you and take halt, dictating your every move in battle. An amateur mistake. You are still too inexperienced, Linlin." Naruto couldn't help but remark as if he was lecturing one of his students.
Naruto swayed, dancing around the punches, hands by his side as he was able to easily avoid every incoming blow. A look of boredom could be seen on the Sage's face, to others the punches were blurs, but to him they were moving so incredibly slow. Every act angered the female Yonko as her punches grew faster and faster, the strength behind them growing exponentially. Fist sized craters began forming behind the Sage as the pressure carried on.
Growing tired, the Immortal grabbed the incoming fists, stopping them cold in the palm of his hands. A blast of wind flew past him creating two long trenches directly behind him.
"LET GO! LET GO!" Shrieking like a child, Linlin tried breaking free of Naruto's grasp but was unable to overpower him. Naruto's grip held firm before he began applying pressure, fingers sinking into hardened flesh. A shriek of pain escaped the giant woman as she fell to her knees.
"You're starting to grate on my last nerve." Naruto began bending the offending limbs applying even more pressure. The sound of fingers breaking slowly and painfully rang out as Linlin's shrieking continued. Without a shred of mercy, Naruto acted, and a loud snap sounded out as he bent both limbs breaking them before releasing his hold.
Linlin's shrieking grew again to inhumane levels as she stumbled back, both her arms broken and bending at angles arms shouldn't. Bone could be seen sticking out of the elbows as her arms were are a full ninety-degree angle.
"That shrieking is beginning to get annoying. I'm surprised you haven't screamed yourself hoarse yet. Here let me help you. " Flashing in front of the woman, Naruto's right hand clapped down firmly around her throat, cutting off all noise. Gurgling sounds escaped Linlin's mouth as she was lifted off the ground and into the air above the Immortal, demonstrating his superior strength.
"You know Linlin, I have to commend you for getting this far, but at the same time, I have to wonder at your stupidity. You hold great strength and used it to lord over those weaker than you. When you think someone is beneath you, you won't hesitate to trample them beneath your heel. But look at you now, wasted, gasping and screaming for air; but you don't get to go yet. Only when your spirit is truly broken will you have my permission to die!"
With barely any effort, Naruto threw her across the terrain. The force drove Linlin through the earth as the Immortal appeared behind her in a flash of white.
"In the worlds of an old friend, the leaf's lotus blooms twice!"
A powerful kick drove itself deep into her back, caving in flesh and shattering bones, launching Linlin up into the air. Puffs of smoke surrounded Linlin in mid-air as five clones of the Uzukage appeared. The clones performed five simultaneous heel kicks driving their heels into the woman's stomach and send her careening back to the original. Holding out his right hand, a Rasengan was created in his palm and thrust up into the middle of Linlin's back.
The spiralling sphere struck true, drilling into the centre of the Yonko's back but Naruto did not release instead he began channelling chakra into the sphere. The Rasengan started growing in size as chakra came pouring in. A terrible shriek escaped the woman's mouth as the Rasengan grew exponentially encompassing her entire back and blasting her up into the sky. Disappearing in a flash of white Naruto appeared directly below Linlin. Golden chakra arms sprouted from his back wrapping around Linlin and tightened. Gripping the side of Linlin's arms, Naruto began spinning, driving her towards the ground.
"Omote Renge (Front Lotus)!" The two picked up pace, transforming into a golden blur as they crashed into the ground. Naruto threw Linlin head first into the earth and let go, leaping away as the woman came crashing down like a meteor. The earth shook violently and began caving in on top of Big Mom covering her in a landslide. Naruto landed on the ground sliding away from the carnage and stood true.
Staring into a Linlin shaped crater, Naruto spotted the woman whimpering in agony, her left leg was bending in the wrong direction, and she was barely breathing. A shimmer flashed through the Sage's eyes as they changed turning white and the veins around his eyes become more distinct. Peering at her skeletal structure, Naruto took note of the damage, he had split her spine in two and broken majority of her ribs, a piece had broken off and made its way into her left lung.
"Surprised she didn't snap her neck, all that fat must have formed a protective shield." The Sage couldn't help but remark, he had intended to snap her neck with that blow, but she had miraculously survived if you could call her current situation surviving. Unless Linlin could find a doctor who worked miracles, she would never walk again.
"But who said I'd let her get away with just that, wait...what's that?" Looking down as he came out of his thoughts, Naruto found a light particle sword sticking out of his chest. The one in yellow was standing behind him holding a two-handed longsword and piercing it through his back.
"Haven't you learnt anything?" Naruto spoke in a deadpan tone while looking at the hooded woman like she was an idiot. Naruto took a few steps forward walking right off the sword, the hole closing up immediately after doing so.
"Munashi quickly get her out of here and to Father!" The one in yellow shouted in a commanding tone to her brother, grabbing the beings attention.
"Yes, sister!" The mouth moved, and words came out, its freakishly long decaying tongue licking at the air. The coattails folded in at the centre of the cloak as Munashi crossed over into space and appearing by Linlin's side.
"As if I'd let you. Linlin won't leave here alive!" The Rinne-Sharingan returned in all its glory as a tear in space opened up above Linlin and Munashi. Five giant bronze gate over twenty feet tall and thirty feet long arrived, landing in a pentagram shape around the Yonko with a loud resounding clang. The gates connected, creating a giant bronze wall. Munashi grabbed Linlin and attempted to fold into space to make a clean getaway, only to find he was unable to cross into the void.
"What!" Startled, Munashi attempted to try again only for the same result. "What is happening! My connection to my alternate space has been cut off! Impossible!"
A beam of light came crashing into one of the gates attempting to break it apart, courtesy of the woman in yellow. The beam didn't even connect as it just dissolved into nothing before even touching the gates.
"It's useless, once all five gates have been connected all powers and abilities are completely sealed, not only within the confines of my gates but also within a foot around them," Naruto spoke up while looking down at Munashi and Linlin, paying no mind to the woman in yellow.
"Is this another one of your blasted treasures!" The mouth barked out its yellow hues glaring hatefully at the Immortal Sage.
"You could say that. I did say I possessed many, didn't I? Just how many is up to you to find out. After all moments like these are the perfect time to test them out. "
A bellowing roar drew focus as the Sekai-Kan Mira opened up spitting out two monstrous beasts. A giant nine-tailed fox as tall as a mountain and a massive humanoid creature with three eyes, red-skin, giant fangs, tusks, one horn and was missing an arm made their appearance. The two beasts hit the ground with a loud thud; the humanoid beast was bleeding heavily from multiple orifices, claw markings covering its body.
"Kaido?" Raising an eyebrow out of curiosity, Naruto eyed the giant form of Kaido who was easily as big as Kurama. Of the two Kaido was worse off as Kurama looked barely hurt, with the exception of his fur being slightly singed. Other than that the fox was untouched.
"He's full of surprises, putting up more of a fight than I had first expected. But naturally, he was no match for me." Kurama commented as he stood tall, his massive form looming over the entire area covering it in a blanket of shadows. Kaido's body began rising feet planting into the ground as blood trickled off of him like a waterfall.
"I...I can still fight!. I'm not finished yet. Kaido's legs began to buckle as he struggled to stand; he was panting heavily clearly worn out from his battle with the Bijuu.
"Why don't you stay down Kaido. Shinra Tensei!" Raising his left hand, Naruto unleashed a strong repulsive pulse slamming it into Kaido and knocking him off balance, sending him flying backwards. The Yonko went crashing into the ground with a loud thud, blood flying from his lips and his chest caving in from the point of impact. Kaido lay in a giant imprint, his body unmoving his breathing stopped as if his body said enough was enough.
Suddenly the sound of cracking could be heard as the chest cavity began repairing itself inflating back into place. Blood began spewing out from the remains of Kaido's left shoulder as bone rapidly sprouted followed by muscle tissue and skin. Kaido's body was rapidly regenerating as even his broken horn began growing back. A deep moan escaped Kaido's lips as his eyes shot open with new life. Rising to his feet, the regenerated Yonko glared daggers at Kurama first then Naruto.
"Interesting. Not only possessing a healing factor but the ability to escape death." Naruto couldn't help but comment.
"Is this why he can't be killed?" Naruto had no idea what had just happened, but he was keen to find out. However, Kaido wasn't his primary focus at the moment, Linlin was.
"Kaido be a good boy and stay out of the way until I've finished with Linlin. I'll deal with you after." Clicking his fingers, a ripple in space opened up in front of the Sage before a black and grey titled Pagoda flew out. The pagoda was so small it could fit easily into the palm of Naruto's hand. The doors of the Pagoda were gold with countless black iron chains wrapping around the entire building.
"Open!" The black chains snapped and fell around the Pagoda as its golden doors flew open with a loud bang. An object came flying out from inside heading straight for Kaido bypassing everyone else. The object was a tiny mountain with a snow-capped top. The mountain flew towards Kaido and began growing rapidly reaching tremendous heights.
Within the blink of an eye, a giant mountain could be seen looming over Kaido before it dropped down slamming on top of him. Kaido raised his arms catching the base of the mountain and felt its weight pressing down upon him.
Kaido's knees bent as his feet dug into the ground, the mountain seemed to be growing heavier with every passing second. Pushing up Kaido started lifting the giant peak attempting to relieve himself of it, but the moment he did, he fell back down as its weight increased again. Cracks spread out from around his feet as the weight continued to grow, forcing Kaido to increase his strength to stop himself from being crushed.
"The more you struggle, the heavier it becomes. My Zen Yokusei Yama (All Suppressing Mountain) was designed specifically for individuals like you! The stronger you are, the heavier the Mountain becomes completely suppressing you as you must continuously exert yourself to keep yourself from being crushed beneath it! Even if you don't fight back, its weight will still increase! There is no escape!" Naruto couldn't help the malicious smile that appeared while watching Kaido try to break the oppressive weight pressed upon him.
"KILL HIM!" Five voices screamed out at once as Akuhei came storming downwards Naruto in a rampaging frenzy. Paying them no mind, Naruto controlling his Pagoda made it fly out in Akuhei's direction. The black chains attached to the Pagoda flew out towards Akuhei and grew in size just like the mountain. Akuhei could only roar as the chains wrapped around her giant body constricting tightly until they were taunt. Struggling against the chains, Akuhei found her attempts fruitless. Roaring, the draconic monster unleashed five streams of toxic mist attempting to melt the chains but to no effect.
The chains began retracting drawing Akuhei towards the tiny Pagoda. The chains began shrinking down to mimic the size of the Pagoda shrinking Akuhei with them. Akuhei found herself being dragged through the Pagoda's golden doors before they shut behind her with a loud bang. Black chains materialised once more and wrapped around the Pagoda, sealing it shut.
The Reifu Hyoutan (Soul Sealing Gourd) was the perfect tool for sealing one's spiritual being, whereas the Zen Yokusei Yama (All Suppressing Mountain) and Kyo Kyuudan (Void Palace) were the perfect tools for suppressing and sealing one's physical being. The Mountain and Pagoda were one Sage Tool split into two as the Mountain was usually stored safely inside the Pagoda. The chains held the Pagoda's prisoners in place where they would be forced to lift an identical Mountain to the one suppressing Kaido. Of course the two could be used independently of one another but worked best in tandem.
"Just how many do you have?" Munashi couldn't help but ask as he eyed the strange Mountain and Pagoda.
"You'll just have to find out." The Pagoda left Naruto's hand and flew over to the top of the mountain. The Pagoda landed on the Mountain's peak, and suddenly the ground beneath the Yonko collapsed as the Mountain's weight grew significantly forcing Kaido to his knees.
Kaido cried out his body expanding and skin turning a deep shade of red. The two horns grew out becoming more pronounced and devil-like as he began transforming. Planting a foot in the ground, the once King of Beasts lifted the giant Mountain and Pagoda. Rising onto both feet Kaido stood proud as a slit opened up on his forehead revealing a third eye.
"I shall not be beaten! I am the strongest in the world!" Kaido dug his fingers into the Mountain only to begin straining under the weight as his muscles tensed. Sweat poured down his forehead as the weight of the Mountain grew once more. Cracks spread out around Kaido as he was forced into the ground.
"Isolda!" The one in yellow shouted to her sister in navy blue. Isolda nodded and as her third eye lit up, creating a black void.
"Miseru Osore (Display of Horrors)!" Shadows began spewing out into the air, taking the shape of one hundred glistening mirrors floating in the sky. Each mirror had a black border with various hideous shapes and designs. The echoing of scream came from the glass as hideous reflections were shown within.
The yellow figure transformed into a beam of light heading towards the first mirror and bounced off of it. She began bouncing off each mirror, each time she became faster and faster to the point it seemed as if a constant beam of light was travelling from each mirror.
"Hantei (Judgement)!" A mirror repositioned itself directly above Naruto joined by ten others in a perfect circle with one in the middle. Rays of light came crashing down from those eleven mirrors, each positioned at an angle that fused them into one larger beam. A single beam of light struck the Sage carving out the terrain.
A golden chakra hand shot out from the beam of light stretching across the battlefield, latching onto Isolda's throat and drawing her in. Another hand reached up and latched onto a single strand of light, immediately the beam vanished and in Naruto's firm grasp was the woman in yellow, a hand clamped down around her throat beneath the hood. A chakra hand extending from Naruto's back whipped Isolda throughthe air, slamming her into the ground with a loud thud. A loud resounding crack echoed, and a cry of pain escaped her lips as blood flew out.
"Now let's unmask you." Naruto's free hand grasped the front of the hood, and he tore it off throwing the fabric aside. Two pairs of Rinne-Sharingan eyes widened as topaz yellow stared back at him.
"Impossible!" Naruto's grip slackened before a high-speed foot crashed into his chin and a beam of light blasted through his skull. With his grip slacking, the woman in yellow turned into a stream of light and broke free materialising away from him.
"What a turn of events." Whitebeard was baffled by the reveal, and he wasn't the only one. The Shinobi of Uzushiogakure who were left to watch gasped in shock.
Standing before the Immortal Sage was a woman whose face he had seen many times before, in the mirror. The woman in yellow had a striking resemblance to Naruto's Oiroke no Jutsu (Sexy Technique) invented when he was a kid, only older. She may look like an older Oiroke Naruto however one could see notable differences. The woman had her hair tied in a bun and didn't have Naruto's trademark whiskers or his original cerulean blue eyes.
"How is this possible?" Yamato could only stare in disbelief at the woman who now stared down his teacher, her hood torn off for all to see.
"She looks just like a female version of Naruto." Suzuka's voice shook, she too was in disbelief at what stood before her.
"Allow me to introduce myself. I am Yin." The woman now calling herself Yin spoke softly, her facial features never changing, as if fixed in permanent expressionless. Not a single shred of emotion was shown in those topaz eyes.
"I don't know why you look like that, but I'll find out, even if I have to dissect every part of you," Naruto spoke calmly even with the sudden sickening feeling he was getting by staring at the woman named Yin. The Rinne-Sharingan flared as he attempted analysing the woman to find out more. A feeling of disgust overcame him as he obtained a clearer understanding of the energy flowing through her; it was thick, repulsive and deformed. If he had to describe it felt like he was wading through a river of toxic sludge. Above all, he felt his presence coming from within that sludge.
"I don't know what you are made from, but it's most vile," Naruto commented slacking his gaze and shaking the feeling of disgust away.
"In time. Father has many plans and should you continue interfering; you will face his wrath. Then you will know the truth. He is very eager to see you again after all these years." Yin couldn't help but comment as she transformed into a beam of light, heading straight towards Naruto.
"Why don't you disappear for a while." Clicking his fingers Naruto summoned his Sekai-Kan Mira directly in front of himself. The mirror rippled as the beam of light hit it and was sucked in. Naruto had trapped Yin in the Mirror's other-dimensional world.
"Now what happened to your friend in red?" The Sage pondered wondering where the one called Tasatsu had gotten to.
"Beneath you!" Thousands of tree roots broke through the ground and rose up around the Sage and began barrelling into his flesh. Tree roots burrowed in like worms in the dirt and slithered like snakes coiling around the Sage's body.
"That's just wrong," Naruto remarked while watching the roots writhe beneath what was his skin. Without a care, the Sage released a burst of chakra disintegrating the roots and exposing Tasatsu's hiding spot, blowing the monstrous tree man away.
"Now, back to the main course. There has been too many distractions." The Sage lifted off the ground taking flight and flew over to the fallen Linlin and ignoring Munashi.
"You've caused me a lot of trouble, Charlotte Linlin." Naruto's voice grew so cold it made Munashi back off in fear. Rinne-Sharingan eyes flared up as the Sage bent down and picked Linlin up by the fat of her neck, lifting her into the air.
"It's over." Using a free hand he reached towards Linlin's chest before plunging his hand in. Blood was not spilt as his hand phased into her body, becoming incorporeal.
"No. Stop." Linlin pleaded weakly unable to resist as Naruto began pulling her soul from her body. A cry of pain escaped the woman's lips as Naruto mercilessly ripped her soul out and held a child-like version of Linlin in his left hand. Dropping her body to the ground with a thud, Naruto eyed the soul in his grip. As he did, he could feel a connection between Linlin's soul and countless others.
"You have tied countless soul's to your own, stealing the life force of others." Using the powers of the Rinne-Sharingan, Naruto had dived into Linlin's mind taking all her memories. "So many atrocities, such a demented mind. I will put you out of your misery."
Raising his right hand, a golden aura of chakra formed as a low hum came from it. Slicing it through the air he severed the connections to Linlin's soul. At that moment he felt the world cry out as multiple souls carried on to the afterlife rejoining Saṃsāra, the cycle of reincarnation or sought their other half to become whole once more.
The Queen Mama Chanter and all the chess soldiers created by Linlin were engulfed in a pink aura that flew off into the sky and departed. The soldiers collapsed to the ground no longer moving. The Queen Mama Chanter suddenly stopped moving and singing, becoming a stationary ship like all others.
Naruto ignored all this and left three connections to Linlin's soul fragment, those to Zeus, Prometheus and Napoleon. But he could feel them fading fast as Linlin's body died, no soul left to fuel it.
With his free hand, he plunged it into Linlin's body and began to extract her devil fruit, reforming it in his hand. A pink fruit of unknown appearance materialised in the palm of his hand. Quickly Naruto began fusing Linlin's soul into the fruit stabilising the connecting to her three homies. The soul shook and screamed, trying to break free of his grasp. Sneering he proceeded to sever all emotions from it leaving nothing but a blank slate behind destroying any last trace of Charlotte Linlin. In one moment there was nothing left of what was once the Strongest Woman on the Grandline.
Naruto stored the fruit away stashing it into his pocket dimension and dispelled the five bronze gate's sending them back to where they belong.
"The war is over. Charlotte Linlin is no more." Turning to Charlotte's corpse, he picked it up and turned in the direction of the Queen Mama Chanter. Without another word he flew off into the air and landed on the deck facing Charlotte Katakuri. He tossed the dead Yonko's body onto the ship with a loud thud where it landed at the feet of Katakuri.
"The war is over, do you concede or will you continue to fight to the death?" Questioned the Sage in a serious tone, ignoring all others. Katakuri gulped, clenching his fists to hold back the anger and tears that were swelling at the loss of his mother. While she was overbearing and only saw her children as pawns, she was still his mother.
"We concede." Katakuri had no choice but to surrender and accept whatever terms the Uzukage would have, out of fear of losing more siblings.
"Very well. It's time you left." Raising a free hand Naruto creating a dimensional gate above Queen Mama Chanter and dropped it transporting Katakuri and what remained of his family back to Totto Land. Focusing on what remained of the Germa Kingdom, Naruto said nothing and did the same transporting them away from his lands. The only ones left of his enemies were now Kaido, Munashi and his remaining siblings. Kaido's all-stars had long since been taken away by Munashi. Yin was trapped in the Sekai-Kan Mira, and Akuhei held prisoner in the Kyo Kyuudan. Kaido meanwhile was suppressed by the might of his Mountain and Pagoda.
"You have surpassed our expectations, Uzumaki Naruto." Munashi couldn't help but grumble out as he folded into space and over to his sister Isolda, quickly taking her away before doing the same to Tasatsu. Two of his siblings had already been captured he couldn't risk the others, or else Father would destroy him for his failure.
"This mission was a complete failure. Linlin is dead. Akuhei and Yin were taken prisoner, and Kaido is stuck." If he could, Munashi would be sweating right now at the thought of what Father would do to him when he got back.
"Just as I have done so to many who came before you." Naruto couldn't help but respond as he eyed the twisted creature in front of him that was nothing more than a cloak with eyes and mouth.
"We shall take our leave as well," Munashi said before folding in next to Kaido, where as soon as he did, could feel the suppressive might of the giant mountain.
"This weight is truly unbearable." Munashi found himself struggling beneath the mountain and quickly directed his coattails to wrap around the Yonko.
"Not so fast." The Mountain's suppression vanished as the Immortal flashed right in front of the two, a pair of Rasengans slamming into the disfigured coat and Kaido blasting them back.
"Who said you were going anywhere? I have questions for you." A golden hand of chakra shot out from the Sage's back and flew towards the duo intending to capture them. At that same time, a black void opened up from Musashi's cloak as a pair of yellow eyes shined within.
"I think not." A commanding voice boomed loudly as a giant spectral hand came into existence meeting Naruto's golden hand head-on. The two hands collided with a loud bang, shockwaves rippled out causing the ocean to stir from the force generated.
"I still have need of them, Uzumaki Naruto." A Shadow of a figure in a golden cloak appeared before Munashi and Kaido. A pair of sinister yellow eyes stared at the Sage, nostalgia flashing through them. The being in yellow seemed almost happy.
"Who are you?" Naruto remained on guard, he was feeling on edge from the golden figure's sudden arrival. He was unlike the others and had a strong aura of confidence about him. The golden figure gave off the feeling of a true King.
"I doubt you would recognise me Naruto. Much has changed, and I am no longer who I once was. I am more. In due time all will be revealed." The Golden Figure, Father, spoke softly, his words full of mirth as he tucked his hands into the sleeves of his cloak. The figure acted as if he was meeting an old friend for the first time in years.
"Not if I remove that hood here and now!" Naruto responded and immediately attacked, charging the distance and forming a Rasengan in his right hand.
"Ah how nostalgic, the Rasengan." The figure pulled out his right hand drawing a sabre from the confines of his cloak. The sabre was swung into the Rasengan's path as a golden aura engulfed it. As the two were about to collide a silver figure came darting across the ocean's top and quickly covered the battlefield intercepting the two attacks.
"Hoo isn't this a nice surprise. After that brat Rodger was killed, I thought you would have crawled into a hole and died." Amusement flashed through Father's golden hues as a full figure came into view one hand blocking the blade of his sabre, the other coated in Busoshoku Haki and freely holding back Naruto's Rasengan.
"I had hoped to never see your miserable face again. But time is funny and old foes meet once more." The figure spoke, their voice distinctly male but aged as if they had gone through many experiences. Locks of silver hair framed aged eyes as a mischievous smile flashed. A deep rumbling laugh escaped Father's lips as he couldn't help but reveal a look of joy in his eyes.
"It's truly been some time hasn't it...Dark King!"
Note: Before anyone starts posting on that "OMG it's Sasuke what a fag" etc and throwing out flames and other comments, because I know some of you are going to jump to that conclusion, I just want to say, don't. I have my reasons for wording it the way I have.
