A/N 1: Here's a little bonus holiday update for you. If you missed Chapter 79 which was posted on EARLY Sunday morning, you might want to read that first.

Callie stood in the small room double checking the x-rays and scans while waiting for her patient to be brought in. She was happy to see everything had healed nicely and the hours they spent in the O.R. rebuilding bones meant another person would be able to walk with little to no complications. This is why she did what she did, why she worked so hard to be the best. She was always excited right along with her patients when the bandages or casts came off and they took those first steps without some sort of aid, but this one, this patient was extra special, she had become family. When she opened Julie's chart to upload the scans and add her notes, two very important things caught her eye, the discharge date was quickly approaching and her eighteenth birthday was only two weeks away, exactly a week before her own birthday. She quickly wrote both dates down on a post-it note and stuck it in her pocket to remind her to bring it up to Arizona later.

When she heard the giggling right outside the door, she looked up to see her star patient being wheeled in by her best friend, both of them wearing huge smiles on their faces and greeted, "Well good morning girls, what brings you by?" She watched as the smiles dropped and Julie stammered, "I thought, you said…isn't today…" Callie laughed and nodded, "Yes Julie, today is the big day. Let's get you up on the table." The teenager breathed a sigh of relief and scolded, "Don't do that! You can't scare pregnant people like that. I'm going to tell my OB on you." This time it was Callie's smile that slipped and was replaced with a look of pure fear when she shook her head and pleaded, "It was just a joke, really, there's no need for that, I'm sorry." Both girl's laughed then and Kim teased, "Aww Dr. Torres, are you afraid of what your wife will do?" Callie scoffed and declared, "NO!" Maria sauntered into the room at that time and added, "She's afraid of what her wife won't do." Callie knew that was exactly what she was afraid of, shook her head and muttered, "Shut up. What are you doing here?"

Maria put her hand on Julie's shoulder, helped her out of the chair, and answered, "I'm the head nurse, I'm helping with a patient." She winked at the girl as she turned her around and all three of them helped her onto the exam table. Callie argued, "You hate cast removal." Maria shrugged and responded, "This one not so much." The ortho surgeon recognized that the teenager, both of them, had become family and though her friend wouldn't outright say it, that's why she was there. As she readied her tools, she laughed when Lorraine rushed through the door and asked, "Did I miss it?" The older woman rushed over to the table, saw both of the casts still on the girl's legs, looked up to her boss and asked, "Why are they still there? Is something wrong?" Callie huffed and replied, "We just got her on the table." Lorraine's shoulders slumped in relief and responded, "Oh, okay. But they can come off right?" Callie eyed her over-protective friend then nodded.

Before she got started, she looked at Julie and said, "I need you to be completely honest with me, this won't keep me from removing the casts today, but it will help with determining my next steps and planning your physical therapy. Are you experiencing any pain at all?" Julie thought about it for a moment then answered honestly, "Other than the rubbing against my baby belly and the cramping you said was from them being in the same position for so long, no, no pain from the injury." Callie smiled and responded, "Good, that's what I like to hear. So let's get on with it then. This is going to take a while since both casts run the length of your entire leg. I'll make the cut right down the middle here, but this doesn't really cut, it kind of burns through it so it will get pretty warm. Let me know when it gets too hot and we will take a break." Kim nodded and Callie turned to grab the saw.

Maria covered Julie's top half with a sheet and gave everyone a surgical mask so they didn't inhale any of the dust from the cast, Callie pulled up her own mask and turned on the saw. Just as she lowered it to the cast, Bella and Sofia ran through the door, followed by Arizona and surprisingly Nicole who was holding Shep's handle firmly in one hand and a bouquet of balloons surrounding one that said, 'Bon Voyage' and a little bag in the other. Turning off the saw she asked, "What are you all doing here?" Arizona took the masks Maria handed her, smiled, and chirped, "We are here to see the casts come off. We would have been here sooner but this one insisted on getting a gift." Arizona helped the girls with the face coverings and Nicole cleared her throat and responded, "It's a big day, you can't come to these things empty handed!" She passed the small bag to Arizona who handed it to Julie and apologized, "I had nothing to do with this." Julie held the bag in her hand for a minute then reached in and pulled out a package of disposable razors. She couldn't help but shake her head and laugh at the ridiculousness of it. Nicole defended, "You laugh now, just you wait. It's practical." Callie chuckled and shook her head then looked up to see tears forming in Julie's eyes and knew it had nothing to do with the razors.

She could only semi-relate to what the young girl must be feeling right now. Her parents should be here with her instead of this band of misfits. The only person she'd lost to death who was like family was Mark, but she knew what it was like not to have her mother there for her during times like this, she knew what it was like to lose her family. Looking into her wife's eyes and seeing the same recognition, she also knew what it was like to gain all of that back, so she could only imagine how full the young girl's heart was right now, even if she was missing a piece. It only made her more determined to make sure she never felt alone again.

Looking around the room, Julie couldn't help but tear up. These people weren't her parents but as she looked at each one of them, she saw family. Kim had been like a sister to her since the day they met, Lorraine was like a grandmother, Maria was the crazy aunt nobody talked about, Callie and Arizona were like…they were like God parents but like aunts too, and for some reason she couldn't explain, she felt like Nicole, of all people, had taken on that mother role for her, then of course there were the two little girls who would sneak into her room and play games and bring her treats and talk to her baby and read him stories, they were her nieces. They were all crazy, they were all ridiculous, but they were hers now and apparently she was theirs too. She looked at the doctor who had taken such good care of her and offered, "I think the whole family is here now, you may proceed." Callie laughed at that and replied, "I surely hope so because we have about hit capacity in this room."

After an hour of laughing and joking and a lot of buzzing of the saw, Callie finally turned it off and laid it on the countertop behind her. She looked to Arizona and claimed, "You might want to open the door for this." Julie furrowed her brow and Callie suggested, "Keep the mask on." She did as she was told, though she wasn't sure why until the surgeon pulled the first cast open and even with the face covering she was hit with the most acrid stench she had ever encountered. Nearly gagging, she asked, "Ugg is that my leg?" Callie's eyes scrunched up above her own mask and she said apologetically, "I'm afraid so sweetie." She removed the first cast, then the second and looked to Maria and smiled behind the mask and ordered, "She's all yours head nurse." Maria rolled her eyes and groaned, "I'm not touching that." Callie handed her the anti-bacterial soap and a sponge and reminded her, "You said you were here as the head nurse and to help with the patient. It's the nurse's job to clean up after cast removal." Maria took the items, plopped down on the stool, playfully glared at Julie and pouted, "You're shaving that jungle on your own." Julie quipped, "I wouldn't trust you to do it. I'd need stitches again." Everyone laughed and Arizona looked to Nicole and accused, "She's been spending too much time with you." The older fetal surgeon smiled proudly and asked, "Aww are you jealous because I picked a new horse?" Arizona huffed and demanded, "Stop calling me a horse!"

Callie looked at the two women curiously and Kim explained, "When Dr. Herman picked Dr. Robbins-Torres for the fellowship, she kept saying she picked the right horse. I don't get it, but now she says it to irritate her." Nicole shrugged and added, "It works." Arizona huffed and stalked away. Callie noticed by the darkening of blue eyes that her wife didn't leave out of anger. Quickly following, she pulled her into an empty room, and wasn't at all surprised when she no sooner shut the door than Arizona had a fistful of her scrub top pulling her towards her. Arizona was trembling with desire after watching Callie with a power tool, pulled her even closer and whispered, "I couldn't watch you with that saw for another minute." Then connected their lips in a deep searing kiss. After the initial shock, Callie quickly responded and felt her whole body tingle with need. They had been married for five days now and with the exception of a quick romp in an on-call room and their morning or evening showers, they hadn't really…okay, they'd had sex every day since they got married, but they haven't had proper, foreplay, take your time, lay down in a bed, enjoy the afterglow kind of sex since their wedding night and she needed that, craved that, and apparently so did Arizona.

Finally breaking for air, she rubbed her hands along the curve of Arizona's ass and whispered, "I missed that." Arizona rested their foreheads together and replied, "Me too. Please tell me we don't have anything planned this weekend." Callie shook her head and responded, "Nope, nothing. In fact, Sof has a sleep over tomorrow night for Jessica's birthday." Arizona wrapped her arms around Callie's back and asked, "Does it make me a terrible mother that a teeny tiny part of me is happy about that?" Callie smirked and responded, "How about we say it makes you a good wife?" The blonde chuckled and answered, "Oh, I'll be a very good wife." Callie kissed her nose and sighed, "We'd better get back. I need to finish up the exam." Arizona nodded, took her hand and led her out of the room and down the hall.

After finishing the examination with everyone looking on, Callie reported, "Okay, everything looks good. We will have you continue your PT until you get your full strength back, I want you to stick with the walker until I see you officially in two weeks, but we want you to try to get back to a normal routine. You can work a few more hours at the center as you see fit as long as you take frequent breaks and don't spend too much time on your feet. I know we are walking a fine line between what you need for your pregnancy and what you need for your legs to continue to heal properly, so we will be monitoring you closely." Julie nodded in understanding. Lorraine looked to her boss, they had previously discussed this, but she wanted to make sure it was still okay, and asked, "Are we still on for tomorrow?" Callie smiled and responded, "You're still on for tomorrow." Everyone looked at the two women in question and Lorraine explained, "We're busting you out of here for a day. I figured you might enjoy a real home cooked meal, maybe a movie, and you and Kim can have a sleep over. I promised to have you back by Sunday afternoon." Both girls squealed with excitement and Julie asked, "What's Sunday afternoon?" Nicole responded, "You said you liked the symphony and I have an extra ticket and don't like to waste money, so if you want to tag along." Julie squealed again and threw her arms around the older woman who jumped at the contact and awkwardly patted her back. Seeing the woman tense, Julie pulled back and Arizona explained, "You need to warn her." The young girl nodded and smiled in surprise when she was pulled in closer and Nicole kept her arm around her back. Arizona and Callie stared blinkingly at the unlikely duo and looked to one another in shock.

Slightly surprised herself, Kim looked up and asked, "Is no one even going to ask about the balloon?" Nicole dropped her arm and responded, "Yeah there really isn't one that says Happy Getting Your Cast Off Day so I went with that." Everyone laughed and Julie responded, "It was sweet. Thank you." Nicole felt that weird feeling again and replied, "Not sweet, necessary. I'm surprised none of these sappy people got you a cake or something." Arizona snorted and Kim piped in, "Well as your best friend, I can't allow you to stand here looking like half-man, half-beast…smelling more like the beast, any longer, so I am taking you to your room so you can finally have a real shower and shave that jungle." Everyone laughed again as the two girls left the room. Nicole quipped, "See, necessary." Before the rest of them left the room, Callie asked, "Can you all come into my office for a few minutes please? There's something I want to talk to you about." Slightly confused, everyone including the two little ones followed the ortho surgeon out of the small room.

Callie opened her office door and Bella and Sofia ran behind Callie's desk with her tablet to play a game and the others took a seat on the sofa and chairs. Callie leaned on her desk, pulled the sticky note out of her pocket, and explained, "While I was updating Julie's chart, I noticed two things. One, she is turning 18 on the 24th and two she is supposed to be discharged on the 26th which means she can't go back to the home…even if we wanted her to." Lorraine was the first to speak up, "I'd really love to take her, but I don't have the extra room and with a baby coming…" Maria cut her off, took her hand and soothed, "None of us expect you to, it's a great deal of responsibility. I can talk to Miguel and see…" Callie shook her head and responded, "You're just getting back on track, I'm worried if you add that extra piece…" Out of nowhere they heard, "We have an extra house, she could live with us." Callie and Arizona looked at each other realizing that was their daughter's voice. Neither of them had thought of that option, the pool house. They had discussed the guestroom but weren't sure what would happen if Arizona got pregnant as well. Their daughter actually had a good idea. Before either of them could say anything, Nicole responded, "You two just got married. No one wants to be around that. I have room and could really use the assistance. She'd have to share the room with her kid for a while. But she could stay with me, help out around the place, make sure I don't eat dog food for breakfast, save money, finish school, then see what happens."

All four women looked at the former fetal surgeon with their mouths hanging open. Of any of them, she was the last person they expected to participate in this conversation, let alone offer her home to the young girl. When she didn't hear a response, she asked, "Is that a no?" Maria asked, "You ate dog food?" Nicole looked in her direction and commanded, "Focus. So is the kid living with me or not." Callie looked to Arizona; she wasn't sure about the pairing herself but her wife knew her mentor best. Arizona blinked and answered, "Nicole, are you sure about this? I mean are you ready to have a teenager and a baby living with you." Nicole scoffed, "I wouldn't have asked if I didn't want it to happen." Arizona looked to the others who all nodded hesitantly and Arizona shrugged and answered, "It's actually the perfect solution. For both of you." Nicole wasn't sure why she was relieved by that response. Hell, she wasn't sure why she even opened her mouth. She didn't know the first thing about raising kids or even living with people other than her ex-husband. The closest she ever came was sharing a room in a hospital with Robbins. She tapped the arm of the chair and declared, "Okay, that's settled then. Now when do we tell her?" Lorraine asked, "How about her birthday?" Callie excitedly answered, "Oooh yeah, she needs a huge birthday bash. She's turning 18." Maria looked around the room and scoffed, "Just what everyone wants for their passage into adulthood, two old ladies, a married couple on the verge of collapse, and newlywed lesbians who can't keep their hands off each other."

Arizona shrugged; she hated to agree, but she had a point. Callie huffed and asked, "What do you suggest then?" Maria sat up and responded, "A car." Lorraine's eyes bulged and she asked, "A car?" Arizona bit her bottom lip and cringed as she added, "I mean, it's not a horrible idea." Callie looked from her friend to her wife and asked, "Why are you two always on the same side when it comes to these girls?" Maria winked at Arizona and replied, "We have to get along some time." Callie just shook her head and Arizona argued, "She has absolutely no independence right now. Nicole has a driver, multiple drivers, she will need a car seat soon and that will be a hassle to transfer, plus if she has a car, Nicole won't need a driver, and she could come and go as she pleases and get to work and doctor's appointments and…" Callie held up her hand and replied, "Okay, okay, I get it. It's not a bad idea, just an expensive one." Nicole thought about the points her protégé made and suggested, "I can put up half the cost. It's not like she needs anything fancy or even brand new, just reliable, good on gas, safe for her and the baby, and me of course…" They all chuckled at that and she continued, "Robbins-Torres…the Torres half, talk is you're into cars, if you can find a good reliable vehicle, I'll put up half the cost and cover the registration and insurance." Lorraine asked, "Does she even have a license?" Maria nodded, "She does, we found it in her belongings when they brought everything in from the bus." Callie thought for a minute then realized it wasn't out of the question and asked, "Well, what do we think?" Maria looked at her phone and replied, "Now that I opened my big mouth, let me call Miguel." Lorraine nodded and replied, "I need to call my broker and move some things around." They had yet to change all of their accounts over, but knowing it was a mutual decision, Callie looked at Arizona who answered, "If you're in, I'm in."

Remembering how her friends and family got around over the weekend, Callie decided to try something just on the off chance it might work. She grabbed her phone, went into the hall and called her father. When everyone reassembled in her office fifteen minutes later, they each informed everyone how much they were able to put up and Callie explained, "I just got off the phone with my dad. All of his hotels have a few private cars and SUVs for the family and executives to use during their stay. Every couple of years, they trade them in or sell them to purchase new ones and I remembered that being on the agenda for The Aria's next board meeting. Daddy said among the vehicles they planned on trading in was a four year old Navy Blue Escalade with low mileage, fully loaded, regular maintenance, and if we want it, whatever amount we come up with is what he will take and will turn over the title free and clear with the condition that you allow him to cover the registration and inspection fees." Nicole nodded and asked, "They just trade them in for newer models? There are no mechanical issues?" Callie chuckled and responded, "That's the only reason. Daddy claims he has to keep his clients happy." Lorraine responded, "I don't think we are going to find a better deal than that." Maria smiled and proclaimed, "See that's what I'm talking about, a new pad and wheels, that's what an 18 year old wants for her birthday." Sofia and Bella popped up from behind the desk and Sofia asked, "Ooh do I get to move out when I'm 18?" Callie and Arizona both hollered, "NO!" making everyone laugh.

Callie picked up the phone to call her father back when they heard a knock on the door. Opening the door she saw her scrub nurse, Beth, who said, "Dr. Torres…sorry Robbins-Torres, I'm sorry to interrupt, but Dr. Foster needs you in O.R. 2." Callie nodded, looked to Arizona and asked, "Can you call daddy for me?" At her wife's nod, she left the room. Before anyone could leave, Arizona looked to her daughter who she knew couldn't keep a secret to save her life and asked, "Sofia, can you and Bella go check on Julie and see if she is coming back to the center today?" The two girls nodded and skipped out of the room. Nicole looked in her direction and scolded, "You know she's not…" Arizona got up to shut the door and cut her off, "Maria, I need you to tell Callie you changed your mind and you and Lorraine are planning a surprise party for Julie." Both women furrowed their brows and Nicole asked, "Isn't the car enough?" Arizona shook her head and responded, "It's not for Julie and you aren't planning anything, but I need to have a reason to get her to a certain place. I'm planning it because Callie's turning 40 the following week, but we won't be in town." All three women asked, "Where will you be?" Arizona smirked and responded, "That's another thing, that day is also our one month anniversary so we will be on our honeymoon. Plus, both of their birthdays fall on a Wednesday. So, if we plan the party for the Saturday before Julie's birthday, there is no way Callie will think it is for her."

All three women nodded in understanding then Nicole asked, "Wait, you're leaving?" Arizona huffed, "Just for a week, from Saturday to the following Sunday." She looked to the administrative assistant and stated, "So, I need you to somehow fix her schedule and block that time off, but make it look to her like she still has appointments. Please." Lorraine giggled and rubbed her hands together. She was so happy for her friend and boss. In all the time she'd known her, no one had ever done these big things for her and she deserved them more than anyone she knew. She nodded and replied, "I can do that. Where are you going?" Arizona smiled and responded, "Nope. Nobody knows until Callie knows." Maria asked, "Do you need us to take the squirt?" Arizona responded, "Maybe for Saturday night. My parents are coming into town to take care of her so she can be at home and to help settle her into a routine because school starts the following week. But Callie will wonder why they are there since they were just there for her birthday party." The brunette nodded and Nicole asked, "So who is covering you?" Arizona responded, "My fellows are covering my appointments and Dee knows not to schedule any surgeries that week. If something comes up that needs immediate attention, Addie said she would cover it. She only needs a few hours' notice and will keep that week light."

Maria looked at the date and asked, "You do realize that is only two weeks from now right?" Arizona nodded and replied, "Well, I had intended to start planning this week and invite all of our friends from Seattle and do this huge formal thing for her birthday, but she kind of outdid me with a whole surprise wedding." She glared at the two women who she knew was in on it from the very beginning then added, "So, instead I get to plan the honeymoon and though she knows it's coming, she doesn't know when or where and she will have no clue to expect her birthday celebration so soon. Addie will be here, but the rest of the crew can't take the time off now." They all nodded in understanding and Lorraine offered, "If you need our help, you just let us know. Anything we can do for Dr. T, we are in." Arizona smirked and replied, "Oh, I'm counting on it." Maria shook her head and asked, "How did I know you were going to say that?"

After tracking down the girls, Arizona lost Nicole in the process since she decided to stay and visit with Julie under the pretense of talking about next week's classes. Returning to The Robbins-Herman Center, they met up with Larry as he was walking in and the fetal surgeon assured him she would be right up to discharge Erin. While they were walking down to the daycare, Sofia turned to Arizona and asked, "Mommy, can we get a baby like Julie?" Arizona nearly tripped over her own feet, corrected herself and asked, "You want a brother or sister?" Sofia stopped in the middle of the hallway, put her hands on her hips and declared, "I told you and Mama I wanted a baby and you told me to wait to talk about it when not so many people were around, now it's only us and Bella, so I want to talk about it." Arizona looked around the hall and prayed for a group of students to come through, or a parade, or stampede of elephants, or…something. Finally, she lifted her head and said, "Oh, do you hear that? I have to go, babies are crying. Waaa, waaa, Dr. Robbins-Torres, waaa." The little girl huffed, "Mommy, there are no babies crying." Arizona muttered, "It worked with your mama." Sofia tilted her head and asked, "What?" Arizona shook her head; this conversation was getting too strange even for her. Taking a deep breath she suggested, "When we get home tonight, you can talk to me and mama about it. Okay? Right now you need to get back to daycare and I need to go see my patients." Sofia took a deep breath and Arizona could swear her daughter just growled at her, but she agreed and walked into the daycare. Arizona waved at the worker and turned to go up to Erin's room.

Laughing when she stepped into Erin's room, Arizona found the woman sitting on the visitor's sofa dressed and ready to go. Walking further into the room, she put the papers she was carrying on the bedside table and rolled it over to sit next to her patient. She looked at the senator and asked, "In a hurry are we?" Erin blushed and responded, "No offense, you have given me the absolute best care possible and everyone is amazing, but I am going out of my bloody mind." Arizona laughed at that, pulled the pen out of her pocket, started to sign the papers and replied, "Well let's get you out of here then." Before she could finish signing, Erin lifted the surgeons left hand which was holding the papers steady and observed, "So how is it you never told me you were engaged and getting married the day before my surgery? Oh and your wife…" She looked around to make sure Larry wasn't around and whispered, "Total hottie." Arizona burst into laughter and the senator shrugged, "You know us politicians, we all have skeletons in our closet, mine happen to be female." Arizona shook her head, blinked a few times, held up her hand and answered, "This was a total surprise, like the proposal, the wedding, all of it, I never saw it coming. I mean I did. We were married before and I knew we were headed in that direction, we talked about it. But yeah, I had no idea." Erin put her chin on her hand and proclaimed, "Ooh do tell."

Erin had tears in her eyes by the time Arizona was finished with her story about how Callie had her secretly choose the colors, the dresses, the cake, and the menu and sprung the proposal on her in the butterfly garden then the secret wedding that was supposed to be a gala. Arizona was shocked when Erin asked, "Wow, does she have a sister?" The blonde shook her head and replied, "Oh my God! You're married and having a baby…three…" Erin realized how that sounded, gasped and defended, "Oh! No! No, no, no. For my brother." Arizona let out a sigh of relief and chuckled, "Sorry…I just…past stuff, sorry." Erin laughed and replied, "No, I mean, I just called your wife a hottie then asked if she had a sister, totally understandable." She stared expectantly at the surgeon and prodded, "So does she?" Arizona nodded, "She does. A lawyer who lives in Miami." Erin clapped giddily and responded, "Oooh we might have to have dinner next time she's in town." Arizona stood up, chuckled at the other woman and suggested, "I'm not sure that medication has worn off yet. No heavy machinery for you." "If she's trying to set someone up with her brother or saying ridiculous things, that's just normal." Larry said from behind her as he walked through the door. Arizona breathed an exaggerated sigh of relief and said, "Whew! I thought I was going to have to keep her."

Erin balked, "Oh no, I need my bed." She kicked her legs out and pushed her arms into the cushions trying to get off the sofa and grunted in complaint when she wasn't moving. Larry and Arizona helped her up and Arizona chuckled and added, "Well at least I know you wouldn't have escaped." The senator shot her a glare then pointed three fingers at her and wiggled them in her face. The blonde furrowed her brow and asked, "Uh, what are you doing?" Larry laughed and answered, "It's the triplet curse. She thinks she has this special power to curse people with triplets so they have to experience her pain." Arizona's eyes bulged and a shiver ran down her spine at just the thought. She wanted to have a baby, she wanted to have a couple babies, just…oh no, not all at once. Tilting her head she asked, "Umm, any chance you can put those things away?" Erin laughed and teased, "I didn't take you for the superstitious type Dr. Robbins-Torres." Arizona shook her head and responded, "Me and the universe, we have a love-hate relationship." Erin furrowed her brow in question and the blonde responded, "We'll save that for your next visit. I've shared enough for today." Erin took her papers and replied, "Fair enough." While walking to the elevators, Arizona went over her restrictions, diet, exercise, and what to expect and look for. After making her next appointment, Erin and Larry waved at the staff and left the lobby.

Returning to her office, Arizona remembered she promised to call Carlos and picked up her phone. She pulled out her planner and decided to kill two birds with one stone since she would have her father-in-law on the phone anyway. She smiled when he picked up and greeted, "Arizona, mija, how are you?" She couldn't help the warmth that ran through her, even her relationship with her wife's family was different this time. Clearing the lump from her throat she responded, "Good afternoon Carlos, I'm well. Calliope was called into surgery and asked me to call you about the car." The older man dismissed his assistant, leaned back in his chair and discussed the details of the sale with his daughter-in-law then asked, "How is married life treating you?" Arizona couldn't keep the excitement out of her voice and gushed, "It's amazing, better than ever. That's actually another reason why I am calling, well two reasons. I know you've been up here quite frequently, but I'm hoping you can make another trip. I'm throwing a surprise birthday party for Calliope two weeks from tomorrow and it would mean so much to both of us if the three of you could be here." Carlos smiled on the other end of the line, in his mind, that strong out-spoken woman who would do anything to make his daughter happy had returned, he checked his calendar and asked, "Why so early?"

Arizona nibbled on her bottom lip, this was harder than she thought it would be, she took a deep breath and explained, "Well, that leads me to the other reason, a favor really, I wouldn't ask but it's…I just…it's easier for me to…" Realizing what she was about to ask and understanding how hard it was for the blonde to ask for things for herself or that involve the plane crash rather, he offered, "Do you need to use the jet?" Arizona sighed in relief and quickly offered, "For Calliope yes. I want to take her on a honeymoon, we never got one before, Sofia was just a baby, then the…accident and I would…it's hard to fly commercially it's just…it's…I don't want to ruin it by…" Feeling for the younger woman, Carlos spoke softly and soothed, "I understand Arizona, Calliope explained it to me and it's one of the reasons I purchased the planes, so my family could travel safely and comfortably. Of course you can use it. May I ask what you are planning?" Arizona realized she would have to reveal the destination so Carlos would know where his plane and family was and explained, "This is also a surprise so Calliope can't know anything about it. Her birthday happens to be our one month anniversary, but since it's her 40th birthday, it's a big deal, so I don't want her to miss out on celebrating it with friends and family, that's why the party is a little early." She continued to explain the details and Carlos was nearly beaming, he offered, "If that's what you're planning, let me talk to my wife and see if she can't help with that end of it. Would that be okay?" Arizona felt the excitement bubble up within her and answered, "That would be amazing. She just…she talks about it so much and it's so important to her, such a big part of who she is, I'd like to share that with her." Carlos nodded in understanding and responded, "I think it's wonderful mija, she will love it." Arizona answered, "I hope so, but she deserves it, she deserves the world. I'll call you with the rest of the details about the party when I have them." The two said their good-byes with a promise that Lucia would call soon and Arizona disconnected the call.

Later that evening, Callie and Arizona were cuddled on the couch watching American Bake-Off when Sofia emerged from the bathroom. They giggled when they noticed her hair was a wet tangled mess and she had a towel draped over her shoulders protecting the unicorn pajamas Addie bought her. She sat down in front of Arizona and handed her the hairbrush. The blonde looked at her expectantly until the little girl sighed and asked, "Mommy, will you please brush my hair?" Arizona nodded, took the brush and made a circling motion telling their daughter to turn around. Callie snickered, took a drink of her wine, and nearly spit it all over the place when Sofia asked, "Is now a good time to talk about my baby?" Wiping her mouth she asked, "I'm sorry your what?" Arizona chuckled and answered, "She asked me about a baby again." Callie's eyes widened and she lowered her voice and asked, "What did you say?" Sofia rolled her eyes and responded, "I'm right here, I can hear you and she pretended to fake cry and told me the babies were calling her." Callie glared at Arizona and asked, "Seriously?" Arizona shrugged and batted her eyelashes. Callie just shook her head at her adorable wife.

Looking at each other, they carried on a silent conversation and finally Callie asked, "Why do you want a baby?" Sofia turned around, happy that her mommies were actually going to have this talk with her now and answered, "Mommy had Uncle Tim and you had Aunt Aria and you have funny stories, you had someone to grow up with and I don't have anyone. Zola has Bailey and Ellis, and Jess has Steven, and they can be annoying but they can be fun and funny and it's fun to take care of them and when they cry and I make them feel better, it makes me feel good. We have a lot of love in our family and all these extra people who would love a baby too and I think we should share that love, so yeah, that's why I want a brother…or a sister…but I think a brother because my friends have brothers and they won't steal my toys like Ellis tries to steal Zola's toys. But if it's a sister that's okay too, I'll just hide my favorite toys so they don't get slobbery." The two women just stared at one another trying to catch up with their daughter's ramble and Arizona finally offered, "So you've really thought about this." Sofia nodded and answered, "I really have. Don't you want another baby to love?" They looked at each other and smiled then Callie answered, "We do, we would like another baby to love too." Sofia nodded her head once as if it was all settled, then declared, "So have another baby." Callie silently mimicked her daughter behind her head then muttered, "Yeah, cuz it's just that simple." Arizona snickered and shook her head at her wife.

Once they got Sofia tucked in for the night, the two women returned to the darkened living room to finish their show and Callie lay down on the couch pulling Arizona on top of her. After sharing a few chaste kisses, Callie paused the tv and suggested, "You could have warned me that talk was coming." Arizona snickered and answered, "I kind of forgot with the rest of the craziness today. Callie arched her brow in question and Arizona reminded her, "Nicole offering to take Julie in." Callie shook her head and chuckled, "Yeah, that one threw me too. What else?" Arizona thought for a minute then responded, "Well after Sofia brought that up, when I was discharging Erin, she asked me how I went from single to married in a week and never mentioned it. Then she called my wife a hottie, asked if you had a sister to hook up with her brother, oh then when I laughed because she couldn't get off the couch, she put the triplet curse on me." Callie laughed, making Arizona's head bounce on her chest and asked, "What's the triplet curse?" Arizona lifted her hand, wiggled her three fingers in her face and answered, "Erin does this to anyone who annoys or laughs at her to curse them with triplets so they can feel her pain." Callie gasped, grabbed her hand and commanded, "Put that thing away!" The blonde chuckled and replied, "I had the same response. I want more than one, but I'm not so sure about having them at the same time." Callie's mega-watt smile took over her face and she asked, "You do?" Arizona returned the smile, caressed her cheek and replied, "Of course I do. I'm not sure if I will be able to carry them all, we will see how this pans out, but yeah I'd like a couple more."

Callie rolled them over so they were on their sides, intertwined their legs, nibbled on Arizona's bottom lip then slipped her tongue inside drawing her in for a deep languorous kiss. When they finally pulled back, she caressed a soft pale cheek and offered, "I'd like a couple more too. If this doesn't work, we can explore other options. Even if it does and you don't want to carry the next one, we can do that too." Arizona brushed their lips together, looked deep into Callie's eyes and said regretfully, "I wish we would have talked more." Callie ran her hand through short blonde curls, swallowed the lump in her throat and croaked out, "I wish I would have listened more." Leaning their foreheads together, Arizona closed her eyes and reminded them both, "We're doing it now. That's what counts." Callie smiled, rubbed their noses together and agreed, "That's what counts." Arizona reached behind her, grabbed the blanket off the back of the couch and directed, "Let's finish this episode then head to bed." Callie nodded her agreement, turned over and maneuvered herself so they could both see the television and started their show again.

After a few minutes, Callie smirked and asked, "So the senator thinks I'm hot eh?" Arizona lifted her head, glared at her wife and asked, "I'm sorry I don't think I heard you correctly, did you just ask if you could sleep on the sofa?" Callie shook her head frantically and responded, "Me? No, I didn't say anything. You must be hearing things." Arizona placed a hard smacking kiss on her lips and declared, "That's what I thought." She settled back down and heard Callie whisper, "I love you Arizona." Arizona slid her hand under Callie's shirt just for the extra intimacy and returned, "I love you Calliope." After their episode finished, the two women were so comfortable and relaxed, they decided to watch another and just enjoy their nice peaceful evening at home as a married couple with their daughter sleeping soundly in her bed down the hall.

A/N 2: Glad you all liked the last chapter. I hear what you are saying. I don't remember who said it and can't find the review now, but to the reviewer who suggested Nicole take Julie in…thank you for that suggestion. I had planned to go a completely different way with Julie and the baby, but that idea just kept gnawing at me and well, this came out. So whoever you are, please take credit.

This chapter was just another of those set up, fluff, fun, how to get from here to there type things. I hope you like it.
