A few weeks after the battle the dragonets would meet at the edge of the sandwing kingdom. The problem of no queen had been solved already with the Sandwings picking Sunny to lead them. Sadly she would turn the offer down feeling she was not fit for the role and would pass it on to another dragon. One who with help from Imperialdramon Sunny had identified as her mother. The dragonets had one thought: what now? "Starshot had gone out with DORUmon to fix the damage they had done in the digital world. Peril came back to the dragon world with new found control over her fire but more importantly her bond with Clay and Gazimon had grown now that they could all spar at full power. But enough of what the others were doing. What am I doing well? The village is being built quickly, Hagurumon has decided to help out my father with his engines and other gizmos, but I know when I call him he will be back." Starflight said, looking over a scroll in his new spot, a Library on the side of a mountain.
"Starflight!" Sunny called out as Waspmon could be heard from the other room smashing out a new cave.
"Yes?" he would say looking towards the entrance of his library.
"Get out here and at least help move some of the rubble with us! I want to have this school done by next year!" Sunny said as Starflight would scramble to his feet.
"Alright!" Starflight would say running out of the cave to meet Sunny.
"There he is!" Both Meramon and GrapLeomon say moving the rock made by Waspmon, and moving it out of the cave and into the back compartment of Imperialdramon to be moved somewhere else.
"Starflight you can't just hide away forever." Clay said as he lugged around a wooden sled full of stone.
"Even if we have this almost done. You need to keep up with the rest of us to get it done, and decorated." Tsunami said as she and Seadramon worked on moving furniture, and wood into the rooms of the caves. But not arranging them mostly because last time they let her do furniture there were spears over the beds.
"Hey, could you move those into the Prey Center down the hall?" FLoramon said her flower necklace was as bright as ever.
"Sure." A voice called running out from the back of the cave. "Just down the hall, correct?" it asked as it picked up what looked like a table on its back.
"Correct it's down to the left." Floramon said before looking at her necklace that Kinkajou made during the down time she had with the Rainwings in the village.
"Alright then." The voice said light hitting the purple fur with black stripes from under the table, and a small squirrel-like tail poked out from behind the table as it walked off back into the dark.
"Sunny I have the list of students attending thanks to our high speed mail system." Guilmon X said before a chill came over him.
"High speed you are just upset that you can't fly." Imperialdramon said with Hexabloumon hovering above him. Hexabloumon then laughed before jetting off back to the Icewing Kingdom to drop off the last couple digimon and letters that were attached to them with little strings.
"How do the little ones know where to go?" Sunny asked as the digimon side of her father came out.
"They just know it's easy for a digimon to pick out their own partner, some even know who they are and what they look like." Imperialdramon said as the white dust that follows Hexabloumon evaporated into the air.
Sunny would look at her two partners as Guilmon had gone off to bug Waspmon about his time away from the cave which only caused him to be hit by a small rock by 'accident'.
"Well I'm going to check on the digital side." Starflight said as he opened a portal and walked through.
"Ok tell Starshot to be done with his stuff soon." Sunny waved bye to her friend as the portal closed.
"Starshot!" Starflight called out only to be met by his father Solarmon and Hagurumon who were working on a device to make a stable connection between the two worlds.
"There you are, son!" Mastermind said walking through the hollowed corridor Dex had made as his castle. "We are almost done here. I just have Starshot, and Fatespeaker out on a relationship trip together so the local Digimon don't lash out against us."
"You should learn to word things better, father." Starflight said thinking about what his father truly ment. "I wonder if Starshot has been attacked and if those two forgave me for when I…." Starflight said the light from the hole in the roof let light into the room only for a shadow to cover it.
"I'm sure she will forgive you especially after hearing why you did it." the shadow said as a Digimon appeared in front of Starflight.
"Well if you are here Renamon then that means." Starflight said before being tackled by Fatespeaker.
"Of course I forgive you for what you did, it only led to the most fun adventure ever!" She said with Starflight looking at Renamon to be met with a shake of the head in disapproval.
"Well where is Starshot, isn't he supposed to be with you?" Starflight asked as the other Nightwing scared her head.
"About that…" She said as a beam was launched behind her.
"HELP BOTH OF YOU PLEASE!" Starshot called out as he was being chased by Dinorexmon. "ANYTIME PREFERABLY NOW!" He called as Starflight saw the dino chasing him but not gaining or attacking him directly.
"Who is that?" Starflight asked as the rest looked at eachother.
"Dinorexmon out new bodyguard around this place." Mastermind said before letting out a whistle. "He is still getting used to not being terrifying."
"Well, I can't have him eating any of the students." Starflight said as he laughed with the others about the situation.
Meanwhile a few miles away a conversation was going on between two powerful forces talking from beyond the worlds. "Are you still trapped?" One said as the other chimed in.
"Yes I'm still trapped otherwise I would have gotten you out already." The second voice said as the conversation kept going back and forth for months and months between a chained up boy with wings, and a stone dragon held up in jade mountain.
"There is movement outside my cave." The dragon said as Sunny and the others made the school.
"I had control of a Powerful servant, sadly he was destroyed before he could set me free." the child said as it remembered Dex's rampage through the digital world. "Just a few more digicores, and I can get out of here." the child said before falling back into the dormant state of mind.
"Lucemon, remember what to do once you get out. Get to me and free me so we can find her." the dragon said as Sunny flew above him.
"Clay, I'm nervous. What if we can't get this done before the opening ceremony tomorrow?" Sunny asked her big wings as he looked down at her.
"Sunny you will be fine and worst case we all pitch in." CLay said moving the last of the rock into Imperialdramon before sending the digimon off for him to deliver it to wherever he saw fit.
"I hope you are right Clay cause I don't know what I'll do if it goes wrong." Sunny said before landing and walking into the school for the night.
