Chapter 41: Artificial Intelligence, Mini-Geargod
At the arena of Grimoire Park, Wisdom is about to make his announcement as CEO.
"How do you respond to the Buddy Police's allegations?" One of the reporters asked.
"Is your important announcement related to it?" Another one asked.
"Honored members of the press, effective immediately I am the new owner of this park. And as CEO of my CHAOS Company. I'll be overseeing all park operations. Rest assured, Mr. Grimoire's been severely dealt with for his involvement with the Buddy Checker app. And my trusty assistant, Tenko has gathered the information we need to fix it." Wisdom explained as Tenko came to him with the tablet and gave it to him.
"Isn't she working with Grimoire?" One of the reporters asked.
"Why would she work with you?" Another asked.
"Simple. She is my double agent. I had her to be a spy on Grimoire to see if he's planning to doing anything mischievous. And thanks to that, she has gathered every evidence about his 'accident'. I give you my word that we'll help rehabilitate every monster that's been affected and once developed, I will personally oversee an anti-virus app is distributed to each of them for free." Wisdom devised a solution.
"Get a load of this." Gao said after seeing the speech that Wisdom speak.
"Is it just me or does he seem a little off from the Wisdom we met before." Kanata wondered after seeing Wisdom's personality trait.
"No, it's not you." Noboru said.
"But I kinda agree with Kanata though. That Wisdom is acting all goody all of the sudden." Minako said.
"I was thinking the same!" Gaito said.
"He looks like him, just what are you thinking?" Abygale asked.
"That is another one of Sakate's disguises." Athora assumed a theory.
"That's not possible." Batzz believed.
"Oh, and why's that?" Chibi Panda asked.
"Because I'm not detecting the slightest scent of Sakate." Batzz said.
"That's how you're seeing through Sakate's disguises before?!"" Chibi Panda was amazed, "I never knew that!"
"Batzz has a great sense of smell, huh?" Kanata asked.
"Then that means he's the real deal. He's actually Wisdom." Minako said.
"Yeah, Batzz smell him like a junkyard dog." Noboru said.
"And if Batzz said it then it's good enough for me!" Gao said as he pound his fist.
"Then why's he giving off a different vibe?" Kuguru said.
"Yeah. He's sound different than the one we saw at cruise last time or at the temple." Haruka said.
"Must be on camera for so long, you don't get to be CEO of a world conglomerate by being honest." Baku said.
"You mean he's staying in character as a CEO so no one would know his true self?" Haruka asked.
"That makes sense and it also explains why he's throwing Grimoire under the bus." Kuguru said as they were watching Wisdom making his speech at the press.
Later...
"No more questions. That's all for today." Wisdom said as he turns and leaves the arena. Then the reporters tried to go after him but the doors has slammed shut before they could reach him.
"Please let us through! We need to see Wisdom!" Chibi Panda said as he tried to get through the crowd.
"So what now?" Noboru asked.
"We move to plan B." Gao recommended.
"Which is?" Batzz asked while getting electrifying.
"Well, we can't do anything until the antivirus app is handed out."
"Do you agree, Kanata?" Athora asked his Buddy.
"I'm not thrilled about it. I'll have other chances to Keisetsu." Kanata said.
"And my sister too." Minako said.
"You think you're ready to beat her?" Gaito asked.
"I know I can. I've train hard enough. I'll be sure to save her from Wisdom's clutches." She said as Gaito nodded.
"At the very least, we confirmed. Wisdom's involved." Abygale said.
"And he'll pay for what he's done." Baku said.
"We should get out of here." Kuguru said.
"Yeah, it's not safe here now." Haruka said.
"It seems that destiny was not at our side today." Gaito said.
"Let's hurry before it's get worst." Minako said.
At night, at the industrial district...
"We tune now for a special report in Grimoire Park and the press conference given by CHAOS Company's CEO, Wisdom earlier today." Gaito, Minako, and Abygale hear the news on the phone.
'Honored members of the press, effective immediately I am the new owner of this park. And as CEO of my CHAOS Company. I'll be overseeing all park operations. Rest assured, Mr. Grimoire's been severely dealt with for his involvement with the Buddy Checker app. And my trusty assistant, Tenko has gathered the information we need to fix it.' Gaito and Minako are tuning their decks while listening to Wisdom's speech.
"So once again, you're preparing for a once in a thousand chance by including that card in your deck?" Abygale asked.
"You sure you're up for it? I don't know what happened if it didn't work." Minako said with concerned look on her face.
"Yeah, well. No matter what cruel destiny falls on us, I will never give up on victory. And so do you, Minako." Gaito said.
"Hm?"
"I know that you won't give up either since you have your goal in mind."
Minako smiled, "Yeah, you're right."
"And I respect you two for it. Since you two are a couple anyway." Abygale said.
"Don't push it, Abygale. We're just getting started." Gaito said as Minako chuckled.
"So it seems."
'Are you saying that even after all this, you still intend to use life energy of monsters?' A reporter asked Wisdom.
'That's correct. This is a significant benefit for mankind. But to obtain the energy, we must extract it directly from the monsters." Gaito and Minako heard Wisdom's speech as it gave them a surprise.
"Did you hear that? Wisdom is doing something crazy." Minako said.
'But this is only temporary. Our future planet involves clone technology so we can develop living batteries so to speak.' Wisdom announced.
"Wait, he's treating monsters as batteries? Is he saying he'll dispose them once their energy's drained?" Minako asked.
"No, he must be stopped!" Gaito said as he clenched his fist tight as he remembered the time when Abygale was a clone, "They can't turn living things into batteries."
"Now I've heard everything." Abygale said as Gaito punched the wall.
"Gaito!" Minako said after seeing him did that.
"What's wrong?" Abygale asked.
"It's that Wisdom. He's been planning this all along! Cloning monsters for energy source, I won't allow it!"
"Gaito..." Minako stands as she checks on Gaito's hand, "I know you're angry. But remember, we're here for you. I'm here for you. We won't let Wisdom do what he wants." She said as she wraps a cloth around his hand, "That's why. Let us stop Wisdom until the very end!"
"Minako..."
"She's right." Abygale said, "With all of us together, we stop Wisdom for using the clone technology no matter what. We'll stop him."
The next day, at the Mikado Residence...
"With the CHAOS Company's antivirus app now in full circulation, effective monsters has slowly returned to normal." Gao watched the news as he heard the announcement.
"Hmph! What a scam!" Batzz complained while laying down on the sofa.
"It's pretty bad, huh?" Gao asked.
"Yeah, first Grimoire and Wisdom hand out their Buddy Checker App to make all the monsters sick..." Batzz said the first part.
"Then Wisdom comes to the rescue with an antivirus app as a cure!" Gao said the second part.
"Making himself out to be our great hero and savior when he's the one that caused it all."
"But isn't that cheating?" Chibi Panda asked as he got confused about this.
"It sure is." Gao answered.
"What'd we do?!"
"Until we can prove it, nobody will listen to the truth." Gao said as he got a phone call, "Hm?" He saw the caller id and it was Gaito.
"Who's that?" Chibi Panda asked for who is calling.
"Gaito." He answered.
At the shopping district, Gao and his friends meet with Gaito, Minako, and Abygale. Gaito explained his plan to Gao.
"You can't just break in to Grimoire Park, man." Gao doesn't like the idea.
"Why not? We've done it before." Minako said.
"Hardly. We just got caught by security because of Batzz, bro." Baku said.
"Hey, don't blame me for this." Batzz said.
"But we can't just let Wisdom do whatever he wants. Someone must stop him!" Gaito said, "If you won't, then Minako, Abygale and I will go ourselves."
"No. Batzz and I will go with you." Gao offered.
"Thing is, bro. With the recent changes in management, Grimoire Park is currently closed." Baku informed.
"They opened in three days." Kuguru said.
"That means we have some time before it's opens. We can handle three days." Haruka said.
"There's no time to waste." Gaito said.
"He's right. Three days is too late for us. We can't wait any further than that." Minako said.
"Wisdom might be exploiting the life energy from some poor captured monsters." Gaito said as Chibi Panda looked at Abygale as he was feeling down lately.
"Hey, are you okay?" Chibi Panda whispered to Abygale, "You don't look too thrilled about this."
"No, it's something else." Abygale answered.
"If there aren't any park visitors, then it should be easy for us to get in." Batzz recommended a plan, "Let's blast our way in a frontal assault!" He then transformed to his true form. He flies over to Grimore Park, leaving the others behind.
"No, wait! Come back!" Gao yelled but Batzz didn't listen.
"Come on, let's follow him!" Gaito said.
"Right!" Abygale and Minako nodded as the others followed Batzz in the air with their Buddies in their true forms. They made it Grimoire Park.
Inside the facility, an army of mini Gear-God were on standby, until they started operating as it senses intruders approaching.
When the others are reaching to Grimoire Tower...
"Listen up! On my mark! We'll storm the gate!" Batzz devised a plan.
"Wait, what are those things coming to us?" Gao asked as he noticed some things in the skies in front of them.
"Huh?!" Batzz said as they noticed the Mini Gear-Gods, "Good question."
"Are they Gear-Gods?!" Gao asked after recognizing the appearance.
"I don't think so. They're way too small." Gaito said after seeing the difference.
"It looks like he must've created miniature versions of Gear-Gods as security for this place." Minako said.
"Yeah! They're puny, compared to Wisdom's Buddy." Chibi Panda said.
"Target: Thunder Emperor Dragon, Barlbatzz. Commence attack!" All the Mini Gear-God said as they shoot laser attacks at them.
"Huh?!" Batzz used his shield to defend the attacks, "Ha! I had bug bites than this! You can't hurt the Batzz!" He made his assault as he puncture them with his weapon, "Take this! And this! And this!" He destroyed three of them at once. More has attack as Batzz evaded it as he starts attacking one by one, he laughed, "These tinker toys are so feeble!" He laughed but then multiple Gear-Gods are starting to crowd him, "Hey. What are you doing?" They crowded him as they hold him, "Get off of me!" But then they all crowded at him at once.
"Batzz! Get out of there!" Gaito yelled out.
"There's too many of them! Batzz won't be able to escape!" Minako said.
"They can't be..." Kanata said.
"Gear Crash! Loading up!" Mini Gear-God used a program as they all self-destructed at once. Batzz screamed at taking damage.
"Batzz!" Gao yelled. Batzz falls down unconsciously.
"He needs help!" Abygale said as they fly down to help him, "Come on!"
At the skate park of the Grimoire Park, Batzz was sitting down after feeling the pain from the explosions.
"That was embarrassing." He said after got humiliated.
"But at least you're not injured." Chibi Panda considered to be the bright side.
"Yeah, only my pride. I wasn't expecting the little freaks to self-destruct." Batzz said as the music on the PA started playing.
"Huh? What's going on?" Haruka asked.
"What's with all the cheerful music?" Noboru asked.
"Look! Something's coming straight towards us!" Chibi Panda asked as a parade float in a shape of Batzz's head is coming on the road.
"A paper-mache Batzz?!" Baku asked after seeing the idea.
"Totally weird, bro."
"Is this part of the parade?" Kuguru asked.
"Do you think there's more?" Haruka asked.
"No, there shouldn't be, the park is closed." Noboru said the possibility. Then two more floats come around, it is shaped to be Athora and Abygale.
"Wait, there's one for me." Athora said after seeing his face.
"Yes, and me." Abygale said.
"What's going here? This can't be a coincidence." Minako said.
"This must be dark destiny." Gaito said.
"Stay alert you guys." Gao advised as the floats stopped in front of them. They waited until the music ended, the three floats turned into the Mini-GearGods.
"No way!" Minako got surprised.
"They were only holograms?!" Kanata asked as they got surrounded.
"We're surrounded. This is bad!" Gao said as they're at a disadvantage.
Batzz started to get angry, "I'll annihilate them!"
"No, don't!" Kanata warned, "You'll just make them self-destruct again! And we'll get hurt in the explosion!"
"Fine, they're such annoying monsters." Batzz complained.
"If only my brother's hacker can stop it." Haruka said.
"Sorry, but Daisuke got his hands full. So I'm afraid he won't be able to help us." Gao said.
"But maybe Aria can help. She might be able to find a way to disable those monsters." Minako offered a suggestions.
"They're not monsters." They heard a familiar voice as they believed it was one of the Mini Geargods who spoke, "My Mini Geargods are cloning machine created by replicating parts of my Buddy, Geargod." A holographic image shows Wisdom, "And I'm infusing them with artificial intelligence."
"Wisdom!" Gao noticed him.
"I bet that's hologram too." Baku believed.
"Well, he is big. No real Wisdom can be like that." Minako said.
"Tell me what you're planning on doing with all the monsters you kidnapped." Gaito demanded answers.
"I'll leave that up to your imagination." Wisdom replied.
"You scum!" Gaito said angrily.
"Wisdom!" Minako yelled, "I wanna know! Where's my sister?! Bring her back to me now!" She demanded as well.
"I'm afraid not. She's decided to join me on her free will. She won't listen to you. And besides, her loyalty to me won't be fallen."
"Wisdom...!" She said angrily too.
"What's the matter? You too scared and come out and face us?!" Gao yelled.
"I have no fears, Mikado. I'll be happy to face you, on one condition." Wisdom said.
"Oh? And what's that?" Gao asked as Abygale was getting suspicions.
"Defeat my Mini Geargods in a challenged Buddyfight." Wisdom offered his condition.
"Fight us yourself! You pig nut!" Batzz insulted Wisdom.
"No, Batzz. Right now, we have to do what he says." Kanata advised.
"He's right. If we don't accept his condition, we won't be able to face him at all." Minako said.
"Oh yeah?" Batzz said.
"I'll do it." Gaito volunteered himself as it surprised everyone and he stepped forward.
"Gaito?" Minako and Gao asked.
"I will always fight against those who toyed with living creatures." He said as he got an angry look on his face, "Hey, Wisdom. You have made me very angry." Gaito pulled out his Core Deck.
At the arena...
"Wherever there's a Buddyfight, you'll find me, Paruko Nanana!" Paruko announced as she warped at the arena, "Today, we have an unusual showdown between Gaito Kurozu and his opponent, believe it or not, a Mini-Geargod! A battle between human and artificial intelligence. There's no way to predict what this Buddyfight would be like!"
"Code Proto Geargod booting up. Luminize. Unlimited Gear." Mini Geargod luminized with the basic Core Gadget acquired with it.
"I will decide your destiny! Decimating Black Dragons! Luminize! The Dark Hour has begun!" The stage has been set.
"Looks like Mini-Geargod will be the fighter." Kuguru said.
"Will Gaito be okay?" Haruka asked.
"I don't know. But this is totes weird, bro." Baku said.
"Course it's weird. He's fighting artificial intelligence." Noboru said.
"Gaito already accepted the challenge. I'm sure he'll be able to handle fighting against an advance program." Minako said.
"Buddyfight!"
"Time to Raise the Flag!"
"The CHAOS!"
"I'm with Darkness Dragon World!"

"Mini-Geargod will go first!" Paruko announced.
"Charge and Draw! I call to the center, Mini-Geargod Yellow!" It called out a yellow version of Mini-Geargod.
"How many different colors do these things come in?" Chibi Panda asked after seeing the color.
"So creepy." Batzz commented.
"Activate Yellow's ability." It paid one life to activate, "I pay one life and add one spell card from my deck to my hand cards." It added a spell card, "I cast and set a spell, Mini Geargods Factory!" It cast a Set Spell, "Yellow, attack the fighter!" Yellow shoots its laser at Gaito, inflicting 2 damage. In the smoke, Gaito coughed after breathing into it and then noticed Yellow at his gauge.
"Huh? What is he doing up there?" He asked as Yellow self-destructed, taking the gauge with it.
"Whoa! Yellow destroyed Gaito's gauge in the explosion!" Paruko announced as Gaito got surprised by the explosive effect. It made him frustrated.
"Talk about your cheap shots." Chibi Panda said.
"Highly offensive." Batzz gritted.
"My turn is over. Probability of victory: 62.5%." Mini Geargod calculated the possibility.

"Oh really? How can you say that when I haven't even had a turn yet?!" Gaito asked as he denied the possibility.
"Gaito..." Minako said with concern.
"Calm down. Focus." Abygale advised.
"Draw! Charge and Draw! The Black Crest will lead me to victory!" Gaito paid one gauge as he marked his hand with the Black Crest, "I equipped! Black Crest Gale Emblem!" His hand has the mark of Darkness Dragon World, "I call to the center, Black Crest Dragon, Earlbow!" He called out Earlbow, "I call to the right, Black Crest Dragon, Ladyzie!" He called out a four winged Black Dragon with steel armor, has four spears on its back, wearing a long brown scarf and four orange horns and lining, "Earlbow! Attack the fighter!" Earlbow attacks with its rainbow wings, inflicting 1 damage, "You're up next, Ladyzie!" Ladyzie used its spears to strike at Mini-Geargod, inflicting 2 damage, "Final Phase!" He declared as the shadow of Abygale emerged with Gaito, "I cast!" He gained the armor after paying 3 life, "Impact!" The chandelier descends, "Death Count Requiem!" He wears the armor, "These are the flames of your fate. My turn is now over."

"Activate Mini-Geargods Factory's ability." Mini-Geargod activated the Set Spell's effect.
"Wow! This Set Spell activates at the beginning of the turn. I can't wait to see what special ability it has!" Paruko announced.
"I send 3 cards from the deck to the Drop Zone." The three cards were inserted into the Set Spell, "If any of them contains the word 'Mini-Geargod', I add them to my hand cards." It added two Mini-Geargods to its hand.
"So he'll never run out of hand cards." Kuguru said.
"As long as that Set Spell is in play." Haruka said.
"But Gaito has Death Count Requiem on his side, bro." Baku recalled.
"He just needs three turns in order to defeat Mini-Geargod with all his might if he can." Minako said.
"If he last that long." Noboru said.
"Draw. Charge and Draw. I call Mini-Geargod Red to the center." It called out a red version of Mini-Geargod, "Activate Red's ability. Code: Gear Crash! Boot up!"
"Paying one gauge. Item Crash!" Red used a gauge as the electrical current hits on Gaito's Emblem and destroys it.
"You okay?" Abygale asked with concerned, "Can you go on?"
"Yeah. I didn't take any damage. But Gale Emblem was destroyed." Gaito said after seeing his item destroyed from his bare hand.
"No!"
"Red. Crash!" Mini-Geargod Red self destructed in the process after using the effect.
"Huh?! It's self-destructed!" Chibi Panda was surprised after witnessing the monster's destruction.
"So these guys are disposable, huh?" Batzz asked.
"I Buddycall, Mini-Geargod Purple to the center!" It Buddycalled itself as it regained one life due to Buddy Gift, "Activate Purple's ability! Code: Gear Crash! Boot up!" It paid one gauge to activate it self's effect.
"Paying one gauge! Set crash!" It flew to Gaito as it reaches to Gaito's Set Impact.
"Not Death Count Requiem!" Gaito said as Purple self-destructed along with Gaito's Impact, "Impossible!" He yelled as his armor disappeared in the process.
"Oh man! They can destroy items and Impact?!" Gao asked as he was surprised.
"That Impact was his only chance of defeating the Mini-Geargod. But now he's in peril." Minako said.
"How is Gaito gonna fight now without his Death Count Requiem?" Kanata asked.
"Unbelievable! Mini-Geargod has four monsters on his field. Red and Purple in the center, blue on the right, and green on the left. It's almost an entire rainbow out there!" Paruko announced after witnessing multiple colored Mini-Geargods.
"It's got two monsters in the center?!" Gaito asked surprisingly.
"CHAOS territory." Abygale recalled, "That's quite the ability." He recalled the time, "The original Geargod has the same one."
"Green. Get Ready." Mini-Geargod commanded one of his own to attack.
"Attacking Earlbow." Green launched its hands as it strikes at Earlbow, as it was destroyed.
"Earlbow!" Gaito yelled.
"Code: Gear Crash! Booting up!" Mini-Geargod Green said as it head towards Gaito, "2 effect damage when a monster is destroyed!"
"What?!" Gaito yelled as Green self-destructed with Gaito in it, as he was hit with 2 effect damage.
"Gaito..." Minako said with her concerned as Gaito kneel to the ground. Abygale walked towards him to comfort him.
"Come on, you got this!" Abygale said.
"It's my advantage! Due to Earlbow's effect, I gain one life and one gauge!" Gaito regained one life and gained a gauge.
"Blue. Attack the fighter!" Mini-Geargod commanded Blue as it shoots at Gaito.
"I cast! Black Cloth Blade!" He cast as the Black Cloth protected him.
"Thanks to Gaito's Counterspell, Blue's attack is nullified!" Paruko announced, "And he destroys one card from the opponent's deck!" Mini-Geargod's card from sent from his deck to the Drop Zone.
"Red. Attack the fighter!"
"Red, attacking!" Red attacked Gaito, inflicting one damage.
"Purple. Attack the fighter!" Purple attacked Gaito with another one damage. Gaito kneel after taking damage.
"Gaito." Abygale tried to help him.
"I told you not to worry." Gaito said as he refused the help.
"Gaito." Minako walked, trying to help him.
"Hold on." Kanata stopped her, "Don't help him."
"But..."
"Don't worry, you know Gaito won't lose so easily." He smiled as she gave it a though and then smiled.
"Alright."
"My turn is over. Probability of victory: 91.2%!" Mini-Geargod calculated the results of victory.

"Gaito only has one life point remaining!" Chibi Panda said, "He's in big trouble!"
"Zip it. You'll throw him off." Batzz said.
"Gaito's acting a little strange today. Did you notice that too, Minako?" Kanata asked her.
"Now that you mention, he isn't his usual self today ever since he saw the Mini-Geargods that Wisdom created." Minako said.
"I wonder if going up against the Artificial Intelligence is getting his head a little bit." Athora believed.
"That may be true. But... I think that he has other reasons if you ask me." Gao said.
"It's my turn!" Gaito smiled as he regained his stance.
"Go get him." Abygale cheered quietly.
"Draw!"
"Gaito!" Abygale yelled.
"Charge and Draw!"
"Gaito!" Abygale yelled again as it got Gaito's attention, "Calm yourself. You cannot win like this." He advised.
"I won't let them clone living batteries, Abygale." Gaito said.
"Is it because I was created through clone technology?" Abygale asked the fact about himself as it got Gaito surprised.
"What did he say?" Chibi Panda asked after hearing what Abygale said.
"That Abygale is actually an artificial monster created in the lab by humans." Athora said
"Whoa. Is that even possible?" Kanata asked.
"From what Gaito told me, it most definitely is." Minako said.
"Is this true, Gao?" Batzz asked his Buddy. Gao silently put his head down as he didn't answered, which would Batzz be expecting the answer as it got him surprised, "I have no idea."
"You know, when I first learned the truth, I was filled with sadness. But I've long since gotten over it. Thanks to you, Gaito. And to your girlfriend, even thought she knows my secret, she wouldn't leave us." Abygale said as he thanked them in the bottom of his heart.
"Abygale..."
"I'm even grateful to the person who created me. By being born into this world, I was able to become your Buddy. So shake off this useless rage and go back to being your true self." It got Gaito amazed, "No matter what cruel destiny befalls you, never give up on victory. That's who you are, Gaito. And my Buddy." Gaito clenched his fist after hearing that.
"You're right." He takes the card from his hand cards, "Even without Death Count Requiem, it's my destiny to win!" He paid one gauge to activate, "I cast! Jet Black Wind!" A black wave of wind blew around the Mini-Geargods as they all got destroyed.
"Amazing! Gaito's destroyed all three Mini-Geargods with one spell!" Paruko announced.
"That's what I'm talking about!" Gao said as he was expecting this to happen.
"I knew he can do it." Batzz said as he believed.
"I cast! Devil's Stigma!" He cast the blade as it strikes on Ladyzie's head, destroying him in the process, "Devil's Stigma's effect increases the gauge by 2 and I regain one life!" He gained 2 gauges and recovered 1 life, "And with Ladyzie's effect, I draw a card!" He drew a card, "I call Black Wind Blade, Devos to the right!" He called out Devos, "I won't grant you time to repent, you deserved to lose and become burden by regret! Buddycall to the center!" He paid 2 gauges as he Buddycalled and regained one life, "Overturn Black Death Dragon, Abygale!" Abygale jumped to the center as he transforms to his true form.

"Here it comes! The power he can only used once during a Buddyfight match!" Paruko announced.
"Overturn Black Death Dragon!" He made the sign for Over, "Go! Abygale!" He made the sign for turn, "Overturn!" He made Overturn, "Abygale's Overturn allows me to pay one gauge and force my opponent's next turn to end!"
"Gaito actually used his power of Overturn without Death Count Requiem!" Paruko announced.
"Does not compute." Mini-Geargod said as it calculated the result for the Overturn.
"Devos! Attack the fighter!" Devos used its horn to strike Mini-Geargod, inflicting one damage, "You're next, Abygale!" Abygale held his foot on the ground strongly and then another.
"Soar through the black wings that could fly through the heavens! Come on! Come on!" He waved his wings as the winds hits Mini-Geargod, inflicting 3 damage.
"Loss of control! Loss of control!" Mini-Geargod said after taking damage.
"Gaito's turn is now over. And Mini-Geargod increases its hand cards by using the Set Spell, but due to Abygale's Overturn, it's turn is already over!" Paruko announced as Mini-Geargod calculate the results for winning against Gaito.
"Probability of victory: 99.9%!"
"How did Geargod's chances of victory go up?!" Athora asked after seeing the rating.
"No idea!" Chibi Panda said.
"But Gaito had a chance for winning, why would Mini-Geargod predicted that result?" Minako asked.
"When Gaito uses the power of Overturn to force his opponent's turn to end. He's unable to attack during his own next turn." Kuguru explained.
"Then it's bad for Gaito? How come?" Haruka asked.
"Because Gaito has zero cards in his hand." Baku explained the outcome.
"Hate to say it but the dude's toast." Noboru said.
"If Mini-Geargod's numbers are correct, then Gaito only has a one in 1000 chance of winning." Kanata hypothesized.
"What?!" Chibi Panda was shocked.
"So in 1000 fights, he can only win one?!" Batzz said angrily.

"That may be so." Gao said as he looked at Gaito, "But Gaito won't give up on victory. Right, Minako?" He asked as she looked at Gaito and smiled.
"Yeah, because I believe in him."
"Destiny! Grant me victory! Draw! Charge... and I... Draw!"
"Gaito clearly has some fight left in him but it doesn't matter which monsters he draws, he stills can't attack during this turn!" Paruko announced.
"Even if I can't attack directly, effect damage will still be helpful." Gaito said as he was going to play the one card in his hand, "Alright, the card that I drew is Spell, Void Slasher. If my opponent has more than 5 cards in the Drop Zone, it inflicts one damage. If it's more than 10, it does 3 damage! Now, count the cards." Gaito explained the effect.
"Response to quiery. Number of cards in Drop Zone: 12 cards." It calculated the cards as it calculated the results of winning, "Probability of victory: 0%."
"I cast!" He paid one gauge to activate the spell, "Void Slasher!" He slashed at Mini-Geargod, inflicting 1 damage at a time, "Defeat is your destiny!" He sends another to inflict 2 damage as Mini-Geargod was destroyed after being defeated.

"Whoa my! Gaito eliminated the remaining life through effect damage! Game End! Winner: Gaito Kurozu! Proving the human will to win can overcome the artifical intelligences." Paruko announced along with Gaito's victory.
"Alright!" Gao said.
"Gaito. Thanks again for your heartfelt kindness." Abygale said as he walk towards Gaito.
"Any day." Gaito said.
"Thanks for giving us a good fight!" A familiar voice said as Gaito heard it and all saw Wisdom.
"Wisdom!" Baku said.
"It's Master Wisdom, you dummies!" Wisdom said but it was actually Sakate in disguise as he laughed evilly, "You're slow. Surprise!" He tear off the disguise, revealing himself to others, "Remember me?"
"Sakate!" Gao said after recognizing him.
"It was me at the press conference and getting you to fight the Mini-Geargods." Sakate explained his plan, "You pathetic morons had no idea it was me! Even you were dupe, Barlbatzz!" He shed tears of laughter as he insulted Batzz for the prank.
"But how! I didn't get the slightest whiff of your scent!" Batzz complained.
"I was disguising myself as Master Wisdom so I was more careful than usual! Lizard brain!" Sakate insulted again as Batzz got enraged
"I'll crush you!"
"We battled the Mini-Geargods and defeated them!" Abygale said.
"Now answer us! Sakate, where's Wisdom?" Gaito demanded as it got Sakate a little nervous after seeing Gaito's frightening face.
"Okay, fine. If you guys want to know so badly. You guys can look for him on your own!" Sakate answered as he brought out a smokescreen and then Batzz and Abygale transformed to their true forms to stop him from escaping.
"You little punk!" Both said as they come towards him. Sakate laughed as he threw the smoke bomb and escape through the smoke.
"Get him!" Batzz yelled but it was too late as Sakate escaped.
"You villain!" Abygale yelled too.
"Sakate has to be hiding somewhere nearby. Don't let him escape." Gaito said to the others.
"Yeah. Come on! Let's find him!" Gao said.
"Right!" Everyone said together.
At the CHAOS Company... Wisdom was doing maintence work on his two Buddies, Geargod VII and Geargod VIII. Then Keisetsu rises from the platform. While Wisdom is busy, Keisetsu puts on his wristband, preparing his move. However... Tenko mysteriously appeared him as she raised her item behind him.
"Keisetsu of the Sword Arts. Why do you bother me?" Wisdom asked as he raised his hand to let Tenko know to stand down as she lowered her weapon.
"I have information. It concerns Gao Mikado and his foolish friends." Keisetsu informed.
Spotlight have shown as Daisuke and Ryuusei appeared on stage.
"Welcome back to more Corner Time!"
"Man, that was close for Gaito. It was a miracle that he has that card to help him win." Ryuusei said.
"Yeah but it's also because he believed himself. So for the next chapter, the gang are going to inflitrate the company and Kanata is going to settle the score with his old friend.
