It has been a month since the Young Justice fought and managed to defeat Brainiac. Since that time, they have all begun to train the kids harder and tougher so that one day they could be prepared to replace their parents. But a few of them were actually trying harder so they could prevent an attack like that from happening again. Nia was one of those few as she was training her powers to be stronger so she could prevent another attack like Brainiac.

She was currently in one of her dreams, working on something that had been bugging all of them over the course of everything. Anjelica talked about some voices she heard in the Phantom Zone, she heard a voice that Nia recalled also hearing when they opened the portal. It was unclear whether or not it was a boy or a girl, but the message was always the same.

"When gravity falls and earth becomes sky, fear the beast with just one eye."

Whatever the hell that meant. But Nia had a feeling that she could try and see into the future and predict what it could possibly mean. If it was just some Phantom Zone thing, or if it could be a warning of another threat that was coming.

Gravity falling?

The Earth becoming sky?

Those literally sound like nightmare scenarios in the Bible. There was no way that she was going to take any chances of it being some strange coincidence. She needed to find the beast. She needed to find out who the 'beast with one eye' is supposed to be.

And with that in mind, Nia was inside of the Dream Realm, walking into a current dream she was having, looking around to see she was in some sort of warehouse. There were barely any lights around her and she was trying to find out what this dream was trying to say. There was nobody around and the place seemed to just keep going and going with no real end in sight. Only a path made from the lights shows her through the darkness.

"Okay..." Nia wasn't entirely sure what to make of all of this. But then she suddenly got a large headache and grabbed her head. She was feeling dizzy and was trying to hold herself together. "Not my first rodeo."

Then when she got her head back on straight, the entire room was altered to be completely dark, except for the light just above her. She was now wondering what was going on and started to notice shadowy figures within the darkness.

"Oh, you have got to be kidding me." Nia scoffed and got ready for a fight with these nightmarish people. "If you're trying to stop me, you can't."

Then her head started to hurt again and she clutched it, closing her eyes for just a quick second. In that quick second, she got some strange visions of death, a shovel hitting freshly dug dirt, the earth cracking, and even a few people being scorched and burned alive. Then she reopened her eyes, she was shocked when she saw a cloaked figure was now standing in front of her. She couldn't see much of their face, only the two light blue glowing eyes.

Nia started to panic as she wasn't sure what was real and what wasn't anymore. She got ready for a fight with this masked figure and started to summon some of her power in her hands. She was ready to shoot it off when the figure snapped its fingers, which somehow stopped Nia from using her powers. She then started to become worried about how powerful this figure was, fearing it could be the start of another threat to their world.

When she turned around to try and run to wake herself up, and that was when she turned around and was met with Caitlin. She seemed to be staring off into the void and not even alive for a quick second. Then she started to blink and started to become afraid.

"Azali koya," The people began to whisper and closed in on them.

"Nia..." Caitlin whispered with a shutter and fear. "It's all about to end."

"Bat oyo ezali sima ya Bat." The nightmare people were whispering.

Then all of a sudden, something came out from behind Caitlin and impaled her from the back. The projectile was unclear as it looked like a chunk of darkness going through her chest.

Nia gasped in shock and horror, forgetting this was a dream for a moment. "Caitlin!" Caitlin's body then fell and Nia quickly caught her. She lowered Caitlin down to then look around to notice there was nothing but the bodies of everyone she knew and loved. Kara. Gwen. Anjelica. Roberta. Peter. "No, no, no! This can't be happening!"

Then the light starts to brighten off from the light getting brighter. When she turned over to face the light to see what is happening, she was met with what looked to be a giant forming eye.

"I see you!" A demonic friendly voice said with glee.

"Why did you do this?!" Nia asked the eye. Then there was laughter filling the air. "Why did you kill them?!"

That was when Nia was mumbling and was still in the Watchtower. She was mumbling when she suddenly jumped in fear and terror. When she looked around, she noticed that it was much darker out than she recalled it was when she started. When she started, she and the girls had just eaten some lunch, but now it was now past six in the afternoon.

Seeing the girls most likely had gone out for the night or out on patrol, she knew she needed to do something. For some reason, she knew that whatever was happening was connected to Caitlin. It will start with her, and the rest will go from there.

Whatever the rest of it was, she had no idea.

In the attached city, Caitlin Snow-Parker was walking through the penthouse getting the baby room ready for their next arrival. Ronnie was able to come back to life, at least officially, and he was able to get a job helping out in P.A.R.K.E.R. Industries as a Structural engineer. He was able to get to a sort of normal life and eventually moved out to get his own place.

They finally had everyone set in, moving Vivian officially into the household with her own space. The place was a little crowded, especially with Wade still taking up the couch space, but with everyone getting new adjustments to their family, with the Danvers family getting twins, M'gann getting into a place with J'onn, everyone was getting their fill on family members. Miles and Frankie also moved into a place of their own, going to start a life of their own.

It was getting late, and she knew all the kids were out on a mission since the adults were held up. Caitlin was home alone, enjoying the peace and quiet, not to mention was also trying to not chow down on everything in the house.

When she was walking around the house to try and keep busy, she got a call from Peter, who was held up in a meeting at work.

"Hey, how are things going?" Caitlin asks as she answered the FaceTime.

Peter groaned as he had his head against the desk in exhaustion. "Ugh, I'm exhausted. I just wanna come home and curl up in bed."

Caitlin laughed and knew he was being over dramatic. Mostly. "Well, you've just got a few more hours, and you can curl up with your wife. And your house full of kids."

"Right." Peter laughed as he remembered everyone. "I'm so tired, I don't even remember half their names. How are you doing? Still eating everything?"

"Let's just say between you and me, and all the kids, we might as well make the food ourselves before we go bankrupt." Caitlin made a joke.

"Don't tempt me." Peter jokes back. "Well, try not to stress yourself out. Last time one of you did that, Frost ended up on bed rest."

Caitlin laughed at the reminder. "Sad thing was, I don't think she really needed it. It was just my opinion."

"Don't tell her that," Peter warned her with a laugh. Then he noticed the time and that he needed to get to the next meeting. "Well, I gotta go. Love you."

"Love you, too," Caitlin said as she then hung up. She sighed and walks over to the couch with a tub of ice cream but then there was a knock. "Coming." Caitlin walked over to the door and was surprised when she opened it and found Nia. "Nia?"

"Hey, Caitlin." Nia greeted her and Caitlin let her inside. "Sorry for coming out of nowhere like this, but...I thought that we should talk."

Caitlin wasn't sure how to take that but figured to hear what she had to say. "Is there something wrong?"

"No, not really. Apart from Kara and Peter being driven insane by the fact twins and their powers are a handful." Nia commented as she walked over and sat on the couch. "Not to mention Kara is going insane with this desert mission we sent the kids on."

"Yeah, to be fair, that's been keeping me up at night," Caitlin confessed as she grabbed the ice cream container. "That and also the fact this little one doesn't seem to wanna stop eating."

"Oh, yeah, how is news with you and baby number..." Nia tried to figure it out how it works. "Is this three? Or does Aster count as one?"

"Biologically speaking, this will be baby number three," Caitlin explains how it works for her. "But technically, this makes it baby number...seven?"

"Just be thankful they're not all biological." Nia jokes.

"Well, I'm happy to see you, but I have a feeling you didn't travel this far just to have a talk with someone who's likely to vomit in the next few hours," Caitlin commented, wondering why she was there.

Nia saw she needed to get to the point and sighed. "Well, in the last few weeks since the battle with Barainac, I figured it would be best to hone my abilities better, to try and maybe even try and prevent the next coming crisis. Anjelica said that she was getting these strange visions of an upcoming threat. So, I've been going into the Dream Realm to see if there was some way to predict what it is. And then...my powers were erased." She then held up her hand and Caitlin watched a blue glow come and vanish. "See? I can't access my powers. Every time I try to call on them, it's like they get further away. And this is gonna sound odd, but I think that it's connected to you in some way."

Caitlin was just scooping spoonful after spoonful of ice cream, her starvation growing. She was listening to everything but was suddenly frozen when she heard that last bit. "Me?" She asked with a bit of ice cream left. "Why me?"

"You were in my dream, too." Nia tried to explain it to her. "And, Caitlin, something really bad happened."

Caitlin was starting to become worried about what she was saying and put the container down. Nia was going to explain further when her head started to her again. She heard that maniacal laughter return and she was starting to get lightheaded. When she heard Caitlin wondering what was wrong, she couldn't think straight to answer.

When Nia got her head back on straight, she wondered what was going on when she looked and noticed the figure was there. "No."

"What?" Caitlin asks when she looked and noticed the figure. She jumped to her feet in worry, realizing she left her phone on the dining table. "Who the hell are you?"

The figure didn't answer and just raised its hands. The glowing eyes came back and the hands started to glow. As if the energy Nia would use was being turned against her. They trusted the powers of the two women, who were immediately put into a dream and both ended up falling.

Caitlin suddenly jolted awake and gasped when she looked around. She was currently sleeping on a chair in a household she swore she recognized. As she looked around, she noticed that Nia was there, just waking up from the couch.

"What the...?" Nia was lost on what was going on. "How did we get here?"

"More importantly, where is here?" Caitlin wonders.

"...And in other news, Spider-Man has not been seen since his battle against the reborn Sinister Six..." The news reported, getting Caitlin to spin toward the screen. It showed Spider-Man, wearing his old black and red suit he hasn't worn since Battleworld. "Nobody is quite sure what has become of the Scarlet Spider, but our hopes and prayers are with Central City's hero."

"Newborn Sinister Six?" Caitlin asks in complete confusion.

"Who's house is this?" Nia asks as she looked around the room.

Caitlin then froze when she noticed a photo on the nightstand and froze in shock. She walked over and picked up the picture and saw it was one of her wedding day. But not of her and Peter. Caitlin and Ronnie Raymond.

"I think I do," Caitlin said as she showed the photo to Nia.

Nia noticed that and saw a cutout newspaper article showing the particle accelerator. "The particle accelerator never exploded."

Then a crying baby got their attention, causing Caitlin to freeze for a moment. She followed the cries as she reached the room with the door creaking open, she found the crib and the baby. She walked over and noticed the child was at least a few months old.

Nina made her way to the room and was shocked. "A dream life where you and Ronnie got to have your happy ending. You and Peter never got together. Never had the twins..."

"And he never had Flash, or half of the team to help," Caitlin whispered as she tried to smooth the baby. "And...Frost..."

"She must have never surfaced." Nia took a guess.

They heard footsteps and watched Ronnie come down, looking a little better than he did in their universe. Considering he never had been pulled into the Singularity and became Deathstorm. He looked a little more tired, but it must have been due to the baby.

"Hey, sorry, I was...busy with something." Ronnie apologized and quickly took their daughter. "Hey there, baby girl. Sorry. You girls have some fun, I'll take over for the rest of the day."

Caitlin and Nia were still completely lost and just watched as Ronnie walked off and kept talking to their daughter. Taking his advice, they decide to at least get out of the house so they could try and think about what's happening.

Caitlin and Nia were walking down the streets and watched as things seemed worse than reality. There was litter everywhere, broken windows, and graffiti, and the whole place looked like it was being taken down.

"So, this is what life would have been like if Ronnie never died," Caitlin commented as she looked around. "Gotta say, I never...expected it to be so bad."

"No, what's worse is that first you were in my dream, and now I'm in yours," Nia commented as she unwrapped a few of the crumbled-up papers. "It's like we're sharing a dream experience, but I've never heard anything like this in my texts."

"Well, there's gotta be a reason that we're here," Caitlin commented as she noticed the paper. The paper was showing a battle between Spider-Man and Sandman. "Oh, god."

"Yeah. We shouldn't keep looking at these." Nia said as she placed the paper in the trash. "Look, Caitlin, I've been trying to wake us up, but without my powers, I can't."

"You're...you're saying we're trapped here?" Caitlin was getting a little worried.

"For now, yes," Nia confirmed and looked around. "But the good news is there's always an exit, we just have to find it. It's dangerous to stay in the Dream Realm for too long."

The ground began to shake and they watched as a giant robot came walking down the street. Caitlin remembered that this was a robot from a few of Peter's old stores, called the Spider-Slayer. It started to wreck the city just when Caitlin watched a tired and beaten Spider-Man swinging back into the street. He came down and grabbed the head of the robot, leading towards them and going down the street.

Caitlin was starting to worry about him and tried to run. "Come on, we gotta do something."

Nia however quickly stopped her and dragged her into an alley. "Wait, Caitlin. I never finished telling you what happened in my dream." She was worried about how this would affect her friend. "You died."

"What?" Caitlin asked in shock. "How?"

"I'm not entirely sure. But I was surrounded by bodies. Of everyone that we know." Nia was sorry to say. "Peter. Kara. Kate. Anjelica. Everyone was dead. And that person who trapped us here, I think they're the ones that took away my powers."

Caitlin was starting to worry and looked around. "So, what do we do?"

"I don't know. But I have a feeling they brought us here because they can only kill us in the Dream Realm." Nia explains.

Then there was a strange hum and they both looked to see a strange door in the middle of the street. Neither of them was sure what to do and just decided it could possibly be one of their escape routes. Going with it, they walked into the door to see what would come up.

Back in the real world, the door to the complex was opened up by Frost, who was just getting home after having a night out with Patty. She strolled inside and dropped off the keys on the table. Hearing the television was on, she figured Caitlin was either still watching tv or was asleep.

"Hey, Caity. Are you doing okay? Anymore morning sickness, then I'm going to stay with Frankie and Miles." Crystal warned as she strolled through the building. But when she found Caitlin and Nia on the floor, she quickly ran over to them. "Caity!" She quickly grabbed her phone and hit the panic to contact the others.

When Nia and Caitlin opened their eyes again, they were shocked to see they were in some warehouse of sorts and Caitlin was in her old Frost attire from her time with Savitar. She was confused about what was happening when she spotted an old enemy of her's come up with a smile.

"Caity!" Amunett Black said with glee as she strolled over to the two.

"Amunett Black?" Nia recognized her and looked at Caitlin. "What is this?"

"I just wanted to congratulate you on such a stellar victory against those goody two shoes out there," Amunett said, which made Caitlin realize she was still working for her. Seems this timeline, she stayed by her side rather than going back to the team. "Keep up the good work. I might even make you my second in command. God knows Norvok is no good to me now."

Nia watched the interaction as Caitlin was frozen in worry. "You...you know Amunett?"

"I used to work with her back when I was working out my Killer Frost phase," Caitlin explains as she looked over the suit. "You know, I never looked at it from this side before."

"Caitlin, we need to focus," Nia warned her.

Caitlin stopped fighting with her white hair and nodded. "Yes, you're right."

In reality, Peter and Barry were able to get Nia and Caitlin to the P.A.R.K.E.R. Industries medical wing. They weren't sure what was happening, but they knew they needed to do something to save them.

"So, what is it? What's wrong?" Barry asks Karen, who was scanning them.

"I can't seem to find any anomalies with the brain scans, Mr. Allen. It seems that they're just...asleep." Karen gave her diagnostics.

"So, how come we can't wake them?" Ronnie wonders.

"Their cortical functions seem to be siled," Karen reported.

"What about the baby? They okay?" Peter was worried for their kid.

Karen did another quick scan, this time specifically on Caitlin. "Not to worry, it would seem the child Dr. Snow-Parker is carrying is okay."

"Okay, well, if Nia is here, and they're both asleep...there's definitely something going on," Peter commented.

"What about calling Kara? Brainy? All of them know her powers better than us." Barry questions, offering his help.

"No, I called. Alex has them busy with some issue off-world to deal with some tech of Brainiac's they found," Peter was sorry to say. "And the Danvers are busy with the twins, they're likely asleep on the floor right now. "We're on our own."

Back in the Dream Realm, Nia was groaning as she was starting to grow a sort of headache that was growing out of nowhere. Caitlin was trying to act all Frosty with the strange environment they were stuck in.

"Is...is it hot in here or is it me?" Nia wonders.

"I don't know, I haven't had the same reaction to cold as other people would." Caitlin shrugged when she noticed Nia was acting up. "Okay, we should get you out of here."

"Both of us," Nia stated, not sure she could handle this headache. "It's like nails digging into my head."

When they ran out of the doorway, they found themselves in some sort of walkway that gave them vibes similar to the Arkham Asylum. They ran down the hallway when they froze and saw a dozen shadowy figures blocking their path.

"How the hell did they get there?" Caitlin asked in shock and fear.

"Nightmare rules." Nia gave her a quick and easy explanation.

She then grabbed Caitlin by the hand before running in the opposite direction to escape. But when they started to run, they were frozen in shock when they noticed that the hooded figure was standing there, eyes still glowing.

"Its her again." Caitlin was starting to become afraid.

"Why are you doing this?!" Nia asked in anger and fear.

The figure then raised their hands and the two of them were filled with visions of some strange circumstances. They saw what looked to be blood-red skies, followed by a pyramid floating into the air where there seemed to be a rift.

"Enough of this!" Nia stepped forward of Caitlin. "I am the Dreamer! I am in control! And I will not let you hurt her!"

The figure then raised its hands and snapped its fingers. Nia watched as Caitlin was starting to disintegrate from her eyes and vanished from her view. Then before Nia could even think of counter-attacking or anything of the sort, she was engulfed in a blinding light from their hands.

In the real world, Caitlin jumped up and shrieked as if she had just awoken from a nightmare. Which in this case, she definitely did. She looked around and noticed she was in P.A.R.K.E.R. Industries and wondered how she got there.

Peter laughed as he ran over and pulled her into a hug. "Oh, I was so worried."

"I'm okay," Caitlin promised as she hugged him back. "But what about Nia?"

Nia looked around and noticed she was back in the warehouse that started all of this from the beginning. She looked around and noticed all of the dark figures were all visible now. She saw all of them looked almost like zombies of sorts, or like they had just fought through a war zone. Then she looked at the figure who was standing behind her, starting to see a bit of them through the hood.

"You weren't trying to hurt us. You were trying to guide us." Nia started to finally realize. "What has really been going on?"

The hooded figure reached upward to the hood and flipped it backward, finally revealing their face to Nia. And who she was under the mask was someone Nia never expected to see.

It was herself.

Nia Nal was staring at the face of herself, wearing a gigantic cloak. "Dreamer."

"How...How is this possible?" Nia asked in shock. "Who are you?"

"I am Reverie." The double of Nia introduced herself. "Dreamer of the Dark Dimension."

"The Dark Dimension?" Nia was starting to worry as she remembered the Dark Knights. "As in the Batman Who Laughs?"

Reverie understood her worry but soothed her fear. "There is no need to fret. Not all of us are as evil as him or the Nightmare you fought."

Nia looked around at the other people and was wondering who they are. "And all of them?"

"I needed a way to tether myself to your world when I learned he was coming," Reverie explains.

"Him?" Nia wasn't sure she understood what she was saying. "Who's him?"

"Bill Cipher," Reverie explains and gestured around her. "Everyone you see has been the victim of his reign of tyranny."

"Who... who's Bill Cipher?" Nia asks in shock and fear rising in her.

"He is a monster with the powers of a god. He can only attack in the mindscape, similar to the Dream Realm before you." Reverie explains as she gestured around them. "Everything that you saw was the same kind of deals that he has offered people in my world. He will attack the strongest through the Mindscape, and drive them to do whatever he wants through manipulation. All he asks in return is to enter our realm, and he will stab them in the back."

"To what endgame?" Nia wonders.

"To pave a bridge to your world for his master to cross," Reverie explains in fear. "Darkness is coming. In the end, all roads lead back to darkness. And darkness follows him everywhere."

"Who?" Nia asks.

But Reverie didn't have the time to answer when the area they were in started to crash and red lights were coming out from the cracks. All of the people that were with them began to vanish in blazing fire. Both of them were worried about what was happening when they saw that there was a giant eye coming into view.

"Lookie at who I found!" The voice said.

Reverie grew afraid when she looked at Nia. "You need to go. Save your world! It's too late for my world." She then summoned all her strength and gave Nia back control of her powers. "Go!"

Nia then suddenly gasped when she watched Reverie get impaled and she gives another vision. Nia looked and she saw there was nothing but death and destruction everywhere surrounding her. She then looked and noticed she was surrounded by the dead bodies of everyone she knows across the multiverse.

A glowing light got her attention when she looked upward and saw a gigantic figure who had two hands glowing with energy. Then she saw the figure was some strange hooded figure who had two gigantic wings out his back. There was no way of seeing it even had a face, but she saw it was almost like a gigantic man-bat.

Then she watched as Peter Parker (which one, she wasn't entirely sure) but saw he was beaten with scars and wounds filling his body. His suit was almost like a mix of a dozen of the other alternate Peter's, but it was hard to tell since it was so torn up. It was almost like it was all of the different Spider heroes at the same time, like who was supposed to be there was yet to be decided.

He stood up and grabbed a strange sword that she has never seen before. "Let's do this..." It sounded like dozens of different Peter's voices and ages were talking at once. "...one...last...time!"

Then Nia stood and watched as Peter raced towards the monster and leaped high into the air. The monster charged at the hero, the two of them inches away from colliding with one another, but that was when Nia woke up.

Nia gasped as she looked around to see she was in P.A.R.K.E.R. Industries and saw the worried looks on everyone's faces. She assured everyone she was okay, but she needed to leave. She needed to find out more about this Bill Cipher character and find out how she can stop him from coming into their dimension.

Was there a way to stop what she saw is going to happen or was it inevitable?
